After traveling out of state, exhausted and not taking care of my luggage properly, I spent 4 nights waking up to bites. Scared I brought home bed bugs, I contacted a large exterminator company (which never returned my calls after contacting them twice). So I went local and got Dale. He talked me through my experience and put my mind at ease. Thankfully at this point (fingers crossed), it's a false alarm. But I have text photos to Dale of "potential critters" and he has politely responded to me each time. Just the customer service alone and treating me like I wasn't a number makes this a 5 star review. I would highly recommend Dale and his team for any of your pest control needs.

Dale was a great help to me when my college-age daughter noticed bed bugs while fulfilling an internship in Maine. Dale calmly led me through steps to help her while I was in Minnesota and she was half a country away! Dale was professional, quick to reply to my correspondence, and overall a pleasure to work with. I am the maintenance supervisor for a large apartment complex located in Portland. We were experiencing ongoing issues with bedbugs in one of our buildings. When the issue started we were using a large national chain for bed bug control. What started out as a problem in one unit soon grew to include several units. The treatments that were being done were not only ineffective but they actually created a larger problem by spreading the bedbugs to adjacent units in the building. After approximately eight months of treatments, our bedbug problem had grown to include 10 adjacent units. At this point, we decided to make a change to a new pest control vendor. I contacted Dale Carlson, the owner of Maine Bedbug and Pest Control. Dale promptly made an appointment to visit the property. When He arrived, he really took the time to discuss all the options available to us for bedbug control. On the day of the first treatment, Nathan and Sam Carlson arrived on time and ready to go. These guys were very knowledgeable about the subject and understood the potential problems associated with bedbug migration through a very large building. I am very happy to say that after the first round of treatment, Which is completed in two visits over a two week time frame. The bedbug issue we were experiencing has disappeared. We’ve have also started using Maine Bedbug at other locations that we manage and we have had great success at those locations as well. Periodically, Dale Carlson conducts a bedbug education seminar for our tenants. It really has made a difference with our tenants and how they approach the problem. I truly do recommend Maine Bedbug and Pest Control. They are a family owned company that take pride in their work.

Dale was fantastic for us. We had tenants in our York cottage that said that they had found bed bugs upon checking in. That can be a scary experience, so we refunded their rent/deposit and contacted a professional pest control company. Dale answered his phone at 8:30 on a Saturday night and was more than willing to assist us. Fortunately our renter had taken pictures of the bed bug that they found and we forwarded it to Dale. He asked that we take another picture of it because he didn't think it was a bed bug. After reviewing the second set of pictures, he guaranteed us that it was not a bed beg and that we did not have to initiate eradication. Great news ...big savings for us ...and his willingness to help us on a late Saturday night at no cost guaranteed this positive review on Google. Definitely contact Dale if you feel you might have bed bugs!
