Buyers beware! I live in Lafayette and about a year ago my girlfriend called Al's to get house treated for termites. They quoted her 700 dollars to treat the house. Holes were already drilled in cement slab and in brick pillars. She agreed to the price and assumed that they would call her when they were going out to do the work. She received a bill in the mail about a week later and called them and they informed her that they had already went treat house, but just had to go back to inspect inside of the house. When he came to inspect the inside, I happened to be home (a 40ish year old black male). I was under house installing insulation at the time, but told him to go in and do his thing. He literally was in the house for less than two minutes. That was a red flag to me for sure, so I decided to inspect the holes in the pillars while I was under the house. The holes were bone dry and many were full of cobwebs, certainly they did not look like any liquid had been sprayed inside. I then started looking at the holes in the slab and the caps which cover the holes did not appear to look any different and I'm sure of this because I had pressure washed the slab a couple of weeks earlier and there were markings on them were pressure washer hit them. At first I was thinking maybe they reused the caps, but after just recently treating for termites myself, I discovered that the plastic caps were so dry rotted, they could not be removed without them breaking into two or more pieces no matted which method of removal I tried and the new caps I used are a dramatically different shade of Grey. To top it off, two months after they claimed to treat the house, I found termites flying around in bathroom and after searching for source, found termite damage around the bathroom window. I never called them to discuss whether they treated the house or not, because I generally like to avoid confrontation, but I DID CALL WHEN I FOUND TERMITES BECAUSE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A TERMITE BOND AND WE DID NOT GET A VISIT FROM THEM OR A CALL BACK. I would advise to never use this company and go to a place called Pestop in Kaliste Saloom. They sell the same chemicals the professionals use, or in this case were supposed to use.
