Sales guy came by my home. He stated it would be a one charge of $49, and then he would come back in just a month to do the second treatment. I said great, and signed up for it. Shortly after I got an email stating I signed up for a year contract. Not once was this explained to me during our conversation. The salesman swindled me into a contract. Very bad practices, and very unethical. If he would have explained to me that it was a contract I would have been fine with it. Bad business.

Wish I could leave a less then 1 star review. Crazy frog door to door sales guy knocked on my door even with two no soliciting signs posted. Then wanted to argue about he has a sales permit that allows him to knock on peoples doors even with no soliciting signs posted. Took me a while to convince him he needed to leave. I work nights and am a day sleeper so this is very irritating, and unprofessional as a business. Wish my bullmastiff was still alive the sales guy would have left my yard as fast as his chubby legs could carry him with my dog in pursuit.

We experienced unreliable service and the office staff hung up on me. We would not be called to schedule our services, instead they would just show up whenever without contacting us first. They would come while we were at work and would not perform the service due to our dog being in the back yard. Had we known they were coming we would have made sure to put her in. When I called to cancel due to not getting service for over 6 months, the gal was nice enough until I told her I did not want to keep their service, rather return to Boise’s Best Pest (who always treated us well in the past) she said she would cancel us and then hung up on me. Polite until they realize they can’t keep taking your money. No partial refund was offered for all the months we paid for but didn’t get coverage. In that time we have had black widows and mice in our house (even shortly after our initial treatment that they DID do).

Pushy sales man knocked on my door twice today. I work from home and he interrupted an important meeting I was in. I politely told him that my husband takes care of things and that I would have to talk to him. He came back tonight at 8:30 pm asking if my husband was home now. 8:30 pm is way to late to be knocking on my door. I told him that we would not be interested. He was extremely pushy and makes me worried to sleep tonight because he showed up and knocked so late on my door. I will be purchasing a no solicitation sign now and will never ever consider this company if I need this type of service.

We had our first service and we were happy that wasps are no more, however, the treatment woke up the ants and if one morsel of dog food was left out or in the bowl there would be swarms of them. I called Crazy Frog right away and Marc came out in a timely manner and eradicated the ants for us. Our next service there were a few more ants in the bathroom and Marc took care of those also along with the other services. We are happy with our tech Marc he does a good and thorough job and happy with the service, so far so good!

I just had my quarterly application done today (4/29/16) by Tech. Dominic. He presented himself in a professional manner and explained in detail the treatment for the day. I informed him of some concerns I had and with no hesitation he went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. I don't normally do reviews but felt that Dominic's hard work and effort couldn't go unheard. He was very thorough in his work and constantly kept checking in to make sure I didn't have any questions or concerns. I have not seen this great of customer service in a long long time. He gave me info that I could see activity in the next 5-10 days but mostly likely not since both the outside (was sprayed last week) and the inside were sprayed! Terrible customer service, and the sales rep lied to me to get a sale. I had a Crazy Frog rep come to my door to sell me their services. I declined the offer several times as we were going to be selling the house in the next couple months and would be moving. He assured me that I could sign up for their promotion and when I moved I could cancel the service. I had some wasp nests that I couldn't reach, and thought what the heck. They came out and did 3 applications, I called when I moved to cancel and thought all was good. Fast forward to next summer, we are in a rental while the new house is being built, and I get a message they are servicing my old address in a couple days. I call again, explain that we sold that house and no longer lived there, and that I had cancelled the account when I moved last year. I was assured the appointment was cancelled and that I would receive a call back to close out the account as requested. 3 days later still no call, I call back and am informed that if I cancel, I now have a two hundred something dollar cancellation fee because I agreed to X amount of applications and only had 3. I explained the situation, and what their representative had promised me. I was informed that I should have read the agreement that they had sent me. Yeah that's my mistake, I should have read it and cancelled right away, however I took the sales person at their word, again my mistake. Had they been straight forward and honest with me, I would have used them at my new home, now I will gladly pay the early cancellation fee and never use them again, and warn others to beware. Stay clear of this company.

The salesman was very misleading. He offered the initial service for $59 and two additional services for $89 dollars. He said we could cancel anytime after the third service. We don't typically have a problem in the winter, so I signed up. Evidently, the contract I signed was for six treatments, FIVE of them at the $89 price. My bad for not reading the fine print, but guys like this are the reason I now have a no soliciting sign by my front door.

BEWARE of this company and don't get fooled into a 12 month contract!! They go door to door selling their pest control services, but won't leave your doorstep even after several "I'm not interested". They'll push you to sign a contract on their tablet right then and there. DON'T BE NICE like I was and get tricked into signing and thinking that I could cancel at any time. The salesman is very deceiving with his words and will talk in cirlces but not directly answer your question. He'll work his way around the answer and leave you thinking you understood the terms. Unfortunately, I got duped - so please take this into consideration before signing with them. They'll sell you on a service that costs "normally $299!" (Give me a break - Who would sign up for $300/mo in pest control?) Then he'll say that there's a promo for $99/month. You say "No" and he'll say, " OK I can do it for $60/month". You say "No", and then he'll say "Ok $45/month." You reject it, and then he'll say, "Ok, don't tell your neighbors, but I can give it to you for $29 for the first month and then $30/month after that." After 10 minutes of mind-numbing conversation, I broke down my defenses and said "Ok, I'll give it a try, but i don't want to schedule yet because I want to discuss it with my spouse first. How about you give me your number and I'll call you back." What should've been the red light was his reply of "Oh, I don't have a phone number, but you can email us. It's on this agreement that I'll email you - just sign here to lock in the price of $30/month because I can't offer that when I leave." After my initial spray, I realized that I was going to pay MONTHLY for a QUARTERLY service. That's right - they don't come monthly - just every 3 months. So in the end I'm paying $90/service, and therefore $480 a YEAR. It's ridiculous, and when I tried to cancel my contract, they said that I could only get out of the contract by paying for the initial hoax price discount. So I would owe $270 to cancel my service!! I'm livid that I got deceived into this scam. So please learn from my mistake and DON'T USE CRAZY FROG PEST CONTROL unless you feel like throwing away your hard earned money! Unprofessional, unethical, and ridiculous "prices".

Salesman offered us a $100 treatment for five services for an entire year. I would be able to choose my time of service. As it turns out this $100 dollar treatment turned to $468 for the entire year. I was being charged $39.99 each month, which I am now responsible to pay. They have a good salesman that cons customers into thinking that they actually have good deal but it turns out sour.

The worst buisness practice in Idaho. When my wife and I tried to deliver a contract cancellation letter since they do not accept cancellation notices over the phone and my 12 months was up in May the owner/manager and receptionist refused to accept the letter. He tried to explain the contract is up in June- 13 months according to the contract they gave me which would automatically put me in another years contract I didn't sign up for or want. So I told them I sold my house and didn't need their services any longer. They then requested a utility bill with the new address. If I'm cancelling my contract at the end of 12 months and my contract is paid in full why does that matter?. He then started yelling, making threats to my wife and I, and followed both of us out to the parking lot screaming. I should have called Meridian PD and pressed charges. All of this because my contract expired and I didn't want to renew it. Other business's in the area witnessed what happened as well. I have never seen anyone act like that in my life. DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH CRAZY FROG

I had a guy knock on my door and explain the details - that I could get my first service for $59, and three more (one each quarter, so a year total) for $89 each. I had been seeing a lot of spiders and wasps etc, and was actually thinking of having someone spray anyways, so thought I'd go for it. They did charge me $59 for my first service, and then three more, one each quarter for $89 each. The last one being in February 2017. Forward to the end of July 2017 (five, almost six months later), and I receive an email that they have scheduled someone to come out to my home in August. I called Customer Service and said that I thought we were done. But was told that I signed up for four sprays (not three) after the initial one. This may be true (which I understand), but it's not what the guy told me. Even the final technician that came out thought it was weird how it had been six months. During my services, the technicians were all very friendly and I thought they did a decent job, which is why I've given 2 stars. However, two of them left my side garage door open, one of them said my dog tried to bite him (never happened - I was by the window and could see everything) and another showed up when I had rescheduled. I will never use Crazy Frog again, but if you do, please make sure to read the contract details and any small print. Good luck!

I don't recommend this company AT ALL: My husband decided to go ahead and try it this company to help with pest control. They told us our options and said we could cancel at any time never once mentioning that it would be a year contract that would cost 300 to cancel. It's 300 for the year service. We finally got them down to 150 to cancel but I don't think we should have had to pay that. Not only do we still have pill bugs and other bugs, but they killed my tree. It was a beautiful green before they put whatever on it to get rid of the aphids, but after it's... Dead. Horrible and, we still have aphids!

Mark did a great job treating a huge tree we have infested with aphids. He came out a week earlier but because it rained so much he made another trip this week to re-apply. Not only did he treat the tree but gave us valuable tips on keeping our tree healthy, and treated the entire yard for ants which have been problematic. Crazy Frog has greatly improved our "bug" issues since we started with them about a year ago. Highly reccommend them.

A "representative" of Crazy Frog just ignored two very clear and prominently placed “No Soliciting” signs and knocked on my door and harassed my wife about buying their pest control services. We sent them packing and pointed out the “No Soliciting” signs and they left, however, they didn’t provide or have out in the open an Idaho accredited solicitor’s identification badge, which is required by law. So, not only is this business annoying and careless, they are breaking the law. Will be avoiding at all costs. They are lucky I don't report them to the state.

Did a perimeter spray of the house widows and doors any areas of entry..and treatment to prevent bugs in the lawn. The technician arrived an hour later than the appointment I had scheduled with the pitchman. This wasn't a problem as I was around working in the yard anyway but for people with tighter schedules bear this in mind. Jeff H. did a thorough job with our pest control. In addition to explaining the treatments he was applying as he went, the small talk about where else he has lived and worked showed his considerable knowledge and experience with pests of all kinds. Rather than delivering the typical pest control treatment, Jeff adjusted our service for our specific needs (spiders). The next day, a colony of ants I wasn't even worried about was already belly up in the driveway. The service was professional and the results were fast. You can't ask for much more than that.

Love these Guys!!! Brandon came to my place and talked to me about their service and I have to admit, I was a little leery. Being contacted from a door to door guy can be a bit off putting, but after I spent about 20 min talking to him, and he explained to me how their product and service works, I figured what the heck. Ill try it out. I had those black and red flying beetles all over my garden and back of my house for the last 3 weeks. I've had those white spiders crawling across my tv, and a few on the walls in my house. Brandon didn't know this but my wife had been giving me an ear full about getting rid of them. So I went ahead and scheduled and appointment for 2 days later. Best decision I ever made in regards to bugs at my house. Dominic came out and did the treatment inside and out. He was more than willing to answer any and all questions I had, and even asked me several times if I had any questions for him. Here it is 3 weeks later and I have had ZERO spiders or Flying beetles. Here is the best part,We did have a small wasp nest that my kids found on the back side of the fence in my back yard(so technically my neighbors yard) so she called Crazy Frog to ask if there was anything they could do. She was then informed that they offer a 100% guaranty against wasps and they came out the next day for FREE and sprayed the area and removed the nest! That is some top notch service! I'll never look for another pest control company. I want Crazy Frog in my life forever. And my wife loves it cause there are no more spiders!!!

I have had services through crazy frog for over a year, at first I was very satisfied but over the last 6 months or so the service has slipped. They have some very unprofessional technicians, one of them was spraying over food on my counter and another one argued with me at 3 different appointments when I asked for my inside to be sprayed. Over the last 6 months I have had an increase in spiders in my home. My room mate is waking up with them crawling on her and I am seeing them all over the house. I have had them out to spray 4 times in the last 2 months and I still have spiders. I would not recommend them to anyone.

If your business is closed you shouldn't be out going door to door. Who's making rounds at 9PM?! I tried to save him a spiel and let him know we're covered by someone else and that I was RIGHT in the middle of something, I had to go. He kept pushing and started getting snippy with me so I cut it off. The appropriate response would be to hand me a business card, wish me well and ask me to keep their services in mind but now paying for a company's service that allows their employees to conduct themselves in such a manner isn't even a consideration. Food for thought.

A man in a Crazy Frog shirt is going door-to-door in my neighborhood. There is a "no soliciting" sign on my door, but he doesn't care. He rings my doorbell anyway...during dinner time. The "no soliciting" sign on my door means something to me. It means if you ring my doorbell anyway, then I leave negative reviews for your business. A legitimate business will NOT ring your doorbell if you post a "no soliciting" sign. Crazy Frog is a scam. See for yourself. Read their many negative reviews on the BBB website, Yelp, Google, and Facebook. Also, this is NOT a local business. It's a franchise…like McDonalds or Subway.

I signed up with Crazy Frog in September, Chris came out a few days later, explained what he was going to do and the type of chemicals he was going to use for the treatment. The spray has no odor and doesn't stain our carpets. My youngest daughter is very sensitive to chemical smells and didn't notice a thing. Chris also treated the garage, sprayed the perimeter of the house, dusted the eves where we had wasp nests and dusted the crawlspace. Does it work? Yes. We have dead bugs on the outside of the house and very few live or dead on the inside, where before the treatment we were chasing spiders and beetles across the floor on a regular basis. When we do find the occasional spider, it's quite dead. Today Chris came out for the 1 month followup treatment, everything went very well. Any questions I had he gladly answered and worked with me on what specific areas I wanted treated, or not. Excellent company, product and service.

I haven't had a pest service before and although I think it is somewhat expensive, I signed up for the service. I see 1 star ratings about not understanding the service. If you listened to the salesman and read the contract, you understand this is a contract for a yearly service. Those 1 star ratings reflect on the customer not reading and asking questions when you agree to have this service. Clay, our tech just left our home. He was very friendly and professional as he took care of our outdoor space. I can already see a decrease in wasps in the yard, he did a great job! I believe I also have billbugs in my lawn and am looking forward to those spots in my grass healing as the billbugs are killed. I look forward to seeing how this service reduces the bugs in my yard and home and makes our outdoor living space a wonderful place to be all summer long. Horrible customer service! First off, this company doesn’t do anything they promise and their sales rep is completely dishonest! He came out and told us that they service gophers and if there continues to be an issue, re services were free, which is the SOLE REASON we agreed to go with them. We were also told that if we weren’t satisfied, we could cancel at any time, free of charge. Well they came out and did our gopher holes, then the gophers popped back up about a month later and we called back for our “free re service” and were informed that they don’t do re services on gophers and that would cost extra! I called them asking to cancel, since the gopher service was the only reason we signed up. Then they informed me that I had to pay $200 to cancel! What???? I explained to the “manager” what the sales rep had told us and her only response was that we should have read the paperwork that we received. Which is true, we should have read it. Instead we trusted that their sales rep was honest. Big mistake! Do not go with this company! They are completely dishonest and will rip you off!!!

Tried to cancel two times within the Idaho state required guidelines, one letter & one phone call. I guess they can't hear or read.... So far we made two phone calls and sent one letter. Were still waiting for a copy of the agreement. We were told it was sent almost two weeks ago. DOOR-TO-DOOR SALES Idaho Consumer Protection Rules protect you from high-pressure or deceptive door-to-door salespersons. If you make a purchase of $25 or more from a door-to-door salesperson for personal, family or household purposes, that salesperson is required to furnish you with written notification that you have a three-working-day grace period in which to cancel the purchase. The salesperson should give you a contract or receipt for your purchase and two copies of the Notice of Cancellation form. You may cancel your purchase by signing and dating one copy of the form and mailing or delivering it to the seller within the three-day period. Keep a copy for your records. Within ten days of your cancellation, the seller must refund all your money, return any trade-in you may have given, cancel any contracts you have signed and let you know when or how the merchandise will be returned. Key point - you have a three-working-day grace period

Cancelled services with this company. Not very thorough with their spraying. Only sprayed around the bottom of the house and they were in an out in very little time. They did not spray eves or treat other places where likely bug problems occur unless you specifically asked them. You would have to be home watching in order to know they were not doing a good job. Called them for a specific problem of yellow jackets in a stone wall. Tech came out and said their formula would kill them instantly. He sprayed and sprayed and they were flying everywhere and not dying like he said. I finally handed him a can of my wasp spray and he had to use it to get the job done. His comment was they did not have the right solution mix or did not mix it strong enough. Have to believe this happens more often than not and people are paying to have their homes serviced with diluted chemicals that don't work. Have noticed after service from Crazy Frog that I still have ant and wasp issues. Just started with a new company and he was onsite an hour and a half (outdoors only) spraying eves, bushes, and all over where there could be a bug or wasp problem. Nice to finally have good service where you have confidence they are going to do a good job when you are not home to watch what they are doing.

Wish I could give zero stars. Duped my 92 year old mother, offering an initial visit for pest control for $29.99. No contracts to sign the young man told her and she could cancel at any time after the initial visit if she did not like the service. After the initial visit she had an issue and they could not come back out for two weeks so she told them to cancel the service and she would go back to her other pest control company. They then proceeded to tell her she owed $270 because she had signed a 2 year contract on the reps tablet. After several failed attempts to come to a civil resolution, and never being sent a copy of what my mother actually signed for, I have contacted the BBB and the Attorney Generals office on Elderly Fraud. Stop taking advantage of 92 year old's that don't understand new technology and lead them to believe they are only signing up for a one time visit. Shame on you!

Started using Crazy Frog in late spring/early summer 2014 because they said they could control Elm Seed and Elm Leaf Beetles. He have a huge elm tree and these bugs were everywhere. All over the patio and house and getting into the house. Also destroying the leaves on the tree itself. You can read about these bugs online and find out they are next to impossible to control. Well Crazy Frog's comprehensive program worked. Hopefully it works again next year and the bugs don't develop resistance to the chemicals. Their workers are great. Clean, respectful, knowledgeable, polite. The show up when they say they are going to and don't keep you waiting all day. Don't know what other insect control companies charge but for what it costs me to have them come once a quarter and have no bugs, I am very happy and would highly recommend them.
