I am not much at writing these but here goes. My experience was a great one. The person that showed up was very professional along with being friendly. They did what I had asked and then went above and beyond what I had asked. I totally enjoyed watching them work and they answered all the questions I had to ask, and in terms that I understood. I had them come out due to a mouse problem and when they were done with that they also ask about any other pests that we had problems with. I told them about spiders and they then sprayed the outside of my house for them. I have 2 girls and am glad that they came out and did what they did. I plan on using them again when I have the chance and would recommend them to anyone that has a pest problem. I also plan on getting ahold of them to look at my lawn.

SInce we began service with Barrier a little over 9 months ago now it has been a headache. We are still dealing with the same bugs we had originally called them out for. The technician's always seem to be in a hurry and do as little as possible. In my opinion, not looking out for the customer and their best interst. I had noticed two wasp nests that were under the eves of our house in both the front and the back. Nobody ever took the time to look around and see if anything needed to be addressed. Not even at the quartly spray. I finally told them and they removed them. Seems like we are always having to call back for resparys. I don't know if its the quality of the solution that they are using or what. We decided to use another company that we had used for 9 years in the past that were awesome. I would NOt recommend Barrier to anyone!

Barrier really goes out of there way to make sure that as a customer I'm taken care of. I had ants pop up in 1 of the bathrooms and they were able to tell me exactly what I needed to do until they came out the next day to fix the problem. The ants were all dead within a few hours and haven't come back yet!

Barrier has been spraying my house for over a year now. They have no problem coming out between quarterly sprays if you're having problems with any type of bug or bees. They are friendly and will answer any questions you may have. Highly recommend!

I was gonna give 'em 5 stars, but when I hit this page to write my review, a big scary spider photo appeared. You do pretty good with my treatments, why can't you show a picture of your treatment results, not before the treatment. Gawd, I hate spiders! So, 5 stars for the service, -2 for making me look at a photo of stuff I hate to look at in the first place.

Super impressed with the customer service barrier has (this is not easy to do). After killing a black widow I had them come out to spray in between scheduled sprays. Jason was so kind. My other 2 experiences have been similar as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

These guys are AWESOME! When I first called they were extremely informational and there was no contract that I had to sign. I was able to determine the service that I wanted and was not pressured for anything more. They were extremely efficient, thorough, and professional. I have not had a better experience with a pest company. They came in the time window that they gave me (which as you know rarely happens with many companies). The service was also customized to my home. They noticed that I had an ant problem and addressed that problem specifically. I would not trust anyone else to take care of me, my family, and my home. I will be a customer for life.

I arrived home today to find a flier inches above my no soliciting sign, the flier appears to have a handwritten note. The note is clearly a stamp. There is no indentation from the pen, and it is extremely misleading and I would go as far to call it a scare tactic. Claiming that they saw spider webs and a wasp's nest on my home. I know for certain there is no wasp nest on my home, and there are no spider webs. I use a company who does not use tactics like barrier pest control. If I was in the market for a pest control company I can assure you that after this misleading "handwritten note" I would not use them.

I am terribly disappointed with this company and the way they choose to do business. My husband and I bought their service when we lived in Nampa and were happy with the service they provided at the time. I received a promotion and due to that we relocated to Texas. I called the company to make them aware of this change and they said they could cancel our routine appointment with no issues. A week or so later I receive a letter in the mail that states we owe $50. I give them a call and they proceed to tell me that is because I decided to cancel there services and that I signed a contract. They said they would not charge me that if I moved my services to my new location, however turns out they cant do that in Texas. I was appreciative of there services and liked them but are they doing so poorly that they have to $50. I am not worried about the amount as much as the fact that I didn't just want to cancel but rather moved out of the state so I could not continue their services. Even companies such as Sprint that everyone dislikes will discontinue service at no charge if their services cannot be provided anymore. Come on guys really.

Today as I was driving down Amity on my way home from work, there was a barrier pest control truck in front of me very obviously swerving and breaking at random, sometimes speeding and sometimes not going the speed limit at all. So concerned for the safety of others driving on the road I called the number listed on the back of the truck, I assume they were closed because the phone rang for a long time and finally I get to someone that greets me with an obviously scripted sentence and as soon as I was explaining that I think the driver was drunk/impaired, basically not fit to drive at that time, I was hung up on. If anyone from the company reads this, I have the license plate number, and I would carefully assign vehicles to employees that will drive them responsibly, especially with your company name on them.

Ok... I don't know much about this stuff except for the fact that I have bugs, I call them, they spray, and then I don't have bugs... Easy as that... They are friendly and their stuff is pet friendly and it works... worth the money... every penny of it!

We have been with Barrier Lawn and Pest for several years, we couldn't be happier. My experience with this company has always been a positive one, it doesn't matter if I call with a question or a concern, its like I'm the most important person in the world when I have them on the phone. Don't get me wrong, like any company there have been mistakes, few mind you, but some. However, the way that Kirk and Mike handle customer issues is remarkable and speaks volumes towards their commitment to all of us. Kirk and Mike know me and wife by name and always asks how things are going with us personally before we get down to business, they care. A couple years ago, I called Kirk and was certain that it was their fertilizer that burned my lawn. Kirk was so nice and cool about my allegations. He said, "Bill let me send a guy over there right now to check it out and we'll take care of it for you." When the tech showed up, he was polite, helpful and caring...he genuinely wanted to fix the problem. What we discovered was that I had Bill Bugs, it wasn't Barrier at all. The tech gave me so much help in getting rid of them and it was truly appreciated. Later Kirk called me and instead of throwing it in my face...he said" Bill what else can I do for you? Are you happy? We appreciate your business and value you as a customer. What else can I do for you?" THIS WASN'T BARRIER'S FAULT, but he still wanted to help. This has been our experience ever since. This year, we had issues with flies, like everyone else. I called Mike and talked to him about it. Literally that day a tech showed up to treat my house and they treated my lawn and quarterly pest control application at the same time. I know there were other treatments probably waiting in line, but because I had a major concern for the flies getting in my house...Mike bumped me up and handled it on the spot and the flies have decreased significantly since! We are a Military family my wife is active duty and I am a disabled Vet with 2 tours in, Iraq, the core values of the military run deep within us. We measure people based on their word and our experience with them over time. Kirk and Mike are as good as they come, what you see is what you get and their word is their bond! We are very happy with their service and you will be too.

He explained that it would be a process to get rid of them, but he would work with us from start to finish. Thanks for the great service and continued work to get rid of those ants! We had spread some hay in our dog kennel a few years ago in the fall. Well, that next spring, apparently there was seed that sprouted into wheat. We live in a neighborhood; not out in the country. Anyway, I had no idea what I was in for, thinking it was cool to have wheat in my yard! I started noticed bags of flour and oatmeal in my pantry had a few holes in them & then started seeing little poops. I realized we had mice and even caught one scurrying across the kitchen one night. I first tried buying mousetraps at walmart, but they were really hard to get set and kept snapping at my fingers. I looked online & found Barrier and gave them a call to see if they could come take care of the problem. An employee showed up that day, laid out the best mice traps I've ever seen and sprayed. Their mousetraps are black plastic ones that are super easy to work & they caught all the mice! He explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Not only did we have mice that crawled into the kitchen pantry from the stove, but they also were in our front living room closet where we kept our 72 hour kits. They had eaten food in those! Little buggers! I'm so thankful to Barrier because they helped me know what I was dealing with and got rid of the mice, once & for all. I have recommended them to everyone I know. And they will do follow up visits to make sure the critters are gone. I was so happy with what they did with the mice, that when we had wasp nests that I found in the BBQ and in the corners where the posts of our deck meet the house. Barrier came out & sprayed and inspected my entire yard. They also ended up finding a wasp nests on the fence and one under the mailbox! Good thing they are thorough! Excellent company; I highly recommend them for any pest problem or lawn care.

Got a severe rash and non stop headaches that both landed me into the emergency room and a specialist visit to a allergy doctor which determination as chemical allergy. I have CHF and my spouse has cancer now and called to explain everything to them in hopes they would have a heart to get me iut of contract but nope contined harassing, calling, texting, mailing etc. We are a family of 4 trying to live of 1 disability check and they dont care they want ur money or blood.

I had a MAJOR gopher problem in the narrow garden strip in front of my Nampa business. Not just any gopher problem; these gophers were criminally insane, mutants on steroids! Ive never seen such a small area so completely torn up! I was at a loss to deal with this myself! Barrier to the rescue! They arrived on time, the price was inexpensive, especially compared to the damage! One application of whatever magic gopher wiper-outer-stuff they have did the trick. THEY'RE DEAD! (You can't see it but I'm smiling about that!) Need to WHACK-A-MOLE? Barrier is your guy!

We realized we had a mice problem in the garage I tried to trap and get rid of them but could not. I called Barrier and spoke with Mike. He was able to schedule me the next morning. The Technician showed up even 5 mins early was very clean cut and his truck was very organized and professional. He asked several questions to understand all aspects of my mouse issues. Then presented a plan on how they will go about exterminating the Mice. They did all that they said they would do and more. The mice are gone and we are happy. I would recommend Barrier to anyone. They were great.
