We were scheduled to have them come out on December 5,2017 for roach control . We were happy with the sales rep that came out and looked around and told us what they would do so we signed a contract and would pay when the job was done. However the night before Joe Hope shows up tells us that they would have to gas the place and that was not what the sales rep told us as we have animals and we did not want to remove them , but he said the sales rep was wrong as they would have to gas it and then spray and the animals would not be allowed back in for a few hours and again this was not what we were told when we signed the contract. I went on thumbtack and found another company and that company came out and did what this company had said they were going to do and they did it that same night no putting me off until the next day . The other company came out and sprayed for roaches used the natural spray and I did not have to remove the animals only moved them from one room to another room and guess what we have had no issues . So Joe Hope you were dead wrong on how you told me that you would have to be back the next week and so on and so on as the guy sprayed and told me when i called and asked him to come back he said he would do it every other month as a preventive measure as he had killed all the roaches already so to people looking for a good pest control company i would not recommend this company and i especially would not recommend Joe Hope

DO NOT USE HULETT IF YOU HAVE TERMITES. DOESN'T WORK. We have used Hulett for general pest control for several years because we thought they were a good company. We found out we had termites (found frass) in two spots in our home in 2014 and they insisted we needed to get our house tented right away to get rid of them ($$$$). Exactly 1 year later I saw 2 LIVE termites in one of the two places (they said the termites probably just "came into" our home from the front door), and this year, I found WINGS in the other area from SWARMING . They spot treated both original areas this year (2017) and now I found new frass a few months after the spot/no-tent treatment next to the area where they swarmed. Basically, not only did the tent fail but the spot treatment didn't work either. Sounds like they will pay for tenting now that it is clear their treatment failed (luckily, I kept up with the contract). I'm just really disappointed because apparently they subcontracted out our tent originally and feel like that is not what a good company that is quality driven would do. I wish their "experts" would have done the job originally or at least done something when I noticed activity a year after the tent (2015), maybe it would have helped early on. If you've ever been through a tent, you know that it isn't something anyone wants repeated. Huge headache I get to relive with my family of 4, thanks to Hulette. This time I will insist that they at least do the job as I'm sure they won't give me my money back to use another company.

Beyond disappointed with the service and communication from Hewitt pest control. We used them to tent our house for termites and they communicated to us the day of tenting and they day of removal. In between they went back on property set off our alarm then cut the power to it. Now I am not not allowed back into my house to reconnect the alarm system for three days. The answer I received was : “what are you worried about the house is under lock and key” Imagine that, if you lock your house you don’t have to worry about theft... what world do you people live in? If you live in my neighborhood theft is a concern and you should not tamper with peoples alarm systems. Now the key to my house is on a lockbox on the front door and my alarm is inoperative. Hired a security guard till I can return to my property. Use a company that communicates better and one that has a bit of sense...

One of your drivers this morning heading north on Jog decided he was not going to pay attention and try to go around a dump truck and nearly side swiped me with no turn signal, nothing. The licence plate started with "GE" but he zoomed by so fast I could not get the rest of it. He turned west onto Okeechobee blvd about 7:50am heading toward your office. Teach this guy how to drive a company vehicle in RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC!!! After I honked at him try to prevent him from hitting me, he started using his turn signal after that. He is lucky I WAS ACTUALLY PAYING ATTENTION and had time to react. Otherwise, we would be going to court and you would be fixing the damage to my car for their reckless behavior. Maybe it's time for some re-training of your drivers?

Hulett had some issues in the beginning getting a single service technician set up, but once past the typical year, they've kept with the same technician who is very courteous, aware of my time constraints, and is always willing to work with my specific needs. They do a great job. When the tenting was done for my home the techs who were in charge of locking my doors had locked the completely wrong lock on the handle of the door instead of the deadbolt even after giving specific instructions to the rep that came to my house and collected the keys from me. I had to contact a locksmith out of my own money after waiting a hour and half in a loaded truck with dogs and have not been reimbursed. Was told i would hear something after i brought it up to the manager's attention since the tech "forgot" to mention it to his manager. Still no call and no one will get back to me either.

A Hulett manager talked our condo into trying their services, and he said he'd be our project manager and to just call him anytime. We called him each time we had one of our many problems with Hulett, but I can't remember his ever being reachable or calling back over these years. Hulett has failed to keep appointments--recently, the customer stayed at home all day waiting and they never came but they said they'd come. They may have gone to the wrong address or they may not have come at all, but they didn't come to us. They haven't sent the right people at least twice lately, though we've given them clear, long explanations of the problem. One crew said we didn't have termites; less than a week later, in the same closet, they said we do have termites. They told me we had no contract for palm care, but then they came to fertilize our palms under our palms contract. They've wasted a lot of our time and on top of that, when they do get here, do they know what they're doing? And beware: you pay in full for the year so you can't fire them, and I think if you don't opt out at the right time, you're re-enrolled for another year. And the person who complained about customer service was right on the money. The operator is terrific, but Donna is rude, offhand, and dismissive of Hulett's responsibility. With very bad manners, she telegraphed that she didn't care one bit.

The "normal" treatment is outdoors only ... but if I see even one pest inside he will accommodate my schedule - usually the next day - to come in and treat the issue. Two to three to five to one stars. That's my roller coaster of a ride with this company over the last year. We had problems with missed appointment windows and appointments all together when we initially signed up for Hulett's regular pest control service. To their credit, we moved into a house that seemed to have lots of bug issues so there were quite a few "initial" visits. Things were eventually worked out and when I provided a poor review on google; they were quick to call me and empathize with my issues, looking to make things right. And they did. Our regular technician Ron is phenomenal and with a recent recurring issue we were having, the service manager came out with Ron in less than 24 hours after my call and gave the issue the attention it needed. Couldn't be happier with the regular service at this point. A few months back we noticed termite activity and eventually enlisted Hulett to combat the issue. With the termite service we are experiencing the same issues we originally did with missed appointment windows and appoints all together. We have also had the technician out three or four times now. And for some reason no one seems to be able to explain to me exactly what their product does, how long I should see termites, what criteria is used to consider the application successful, and what I do when I see termites and they can't come out and treat them for 4-5 days at a minimum. And when will they finally all be dead? Today after speaking to a less than emphatic person on the phone at Hulett, I was set up with a service manager house call two weeks from now. It would've been much easier to talk to someone knowledgeable over the phone for a few minutes, but I guess for the thousands of dollars I paid for the service, might as well send someone out to talk to me.

Two to three to five to one stars. That's my roller coaster of a ride with this company over the last year. We had problems with missed appointment windows and appointments all together when we initially signed up for Hulett's regular pest control service. To their credit, we moved into a house that seemed to have lots of bug issues so there were quite a few "initial" visits. Things were eventually worked out and when I provided a poor review on google; they were quick to call me and empathize with my issues, looking to make things right. And they did. Our regular technician Ron is phenomenal and with a recent recurring issue we were having, the service manager came out with Ron in less than 24 hours after my call and gave the issue the attention it needed. Couldn't be happier with the regular service at this point. A few months back we noticed termite activity and eventually enlisted Hulett to combat the issue. With the termite service we are experiencing the same issues we originally did with missed appointment windows and appoints all together. We have also had the technician out three or four times now. And for some reason no one seems to be able to explain to me exactly what their product does, how long I should see termites, what criteria is used to consider the application successful, and what I do when I see termites and they can't come out and treat them for 4-5 days at a minimum. And when will they finally all be dead? Today after speaking to a less than emphatic person on the phone at Hulett, I was set up with a service manager house call two weeks from now. It would've been much easier to talk to someone knowledgeable over the phone for a few minutes, but I guess for the thousands of dollars I paid for the service, might as well send someone out to talk to me.

I had a problem with ants. Other companies told me I would need recurring monthly services ad infinitim. Hulett controlled the little critters and provided more than just spraying. The technicians were well trained and found the source of the problem. The degree of professionalism was exemplary. Everything was explained in understandable ENGLISH. They have returned as originally scheduled and the peace of mind of a a house without bugs is great. And the price was lower than the competition. And I do not have to get up once a month at 6:30 AM to let some schlep come in and spread chemicals all over. GREAT JOB

Started quarterly service in April for the house and bi-monthly for the yard. They just charged my card again (1 month later) for the quarterly service. When I called, I was transferred to an extremely rude women that tried to tell me they emailed me my contract and it was in there. Yet still never explained what “it was.” I am extremely organized, especially with my emails. I was never sent my contract. She told me she would pass the message onto management. I asked to speak to a manager. He too defended their procedure and assured me I was sent an email when I signed. I explained that the sales rep explained that I would be charged quarterly and handed me the iPad to sign. Foolishly, I believed that is exactly what would happen. I never received a contract. I save every email, in a folder. I even stated every date of every email received. He went on to tell me that he has been on sales calls with the sales rep and he follows protocol.... However, he was not at my house, so I can only deduce that by that statement he was implying that was lying. Regardless, it would seem to be a poor procedure to sell a quarterly contract and then charge monthly, much less to not ensure the customer received the contract, reviewed the contract prior to signing an iPad (that doesn’t show a contract), or fully understood the shady procedure of billing on month one AND month two for a quarterly policy. That is a surefire way to lose customers. It is also frightening to think that there may be less aware customers here in south Florida where the population is older, that may not check their bank statements or emails. They will unknowingly be overcharged due to salesmen not being forthright. I sincerely hope that this procedure is going to be reviewed and that salesmen will be trained to give full details prior to having customers sign. Then they should ensure the customer receives a copy of the signed contract. Additionally, the service we did receive, did not help. We still had ants inside. I had to call them back out. Within a week we had new ant hills around our mailbox. So all of this frustration and we still have the problem. Dissatisfied.

The only reason I gave the team 4 stars is because the tenting team members when taking down the tent broke my bathroom roof vent off, broke and knocked over several clay pots by dragging the tarps asked a few other damaged yard pieces. I took photos, called the field manager, asked if he wanted to come see the damage. I inquired about what was the procedure to file a complaint and file for reimbursement. I read given no satisfaction and a run around. Heard a series of excuses. Not happy with the lack of concern for a person's home. Would advise a customer to be home for tent removal and do not go in, when if it's been cleared to enter... ther fumes were still strong for the next 2-3 hours.

As the ants infestation was great I called for another follow up and Matt came out and applied another application and inspected the entire property. My experience with Hullet Environmental is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any monthly service contractor. Several times over the life of my contract, they set appointments which led me to take off of work and didn’t show up. Then the manager had the balls to call me and say that they had been there and that I’m the one at fault..., when I explained that was impossible since I wasn’t even in town the last time they supposedly had serviced my my property, he insisted that the service was still done. Arrogant, unprofessional, untimely and just plan horrible customer service!!!

They proceed to bill me for service I did not authorize. No decency to clear up the matter. They are extremely unprofessional have ZERO customer service skills. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Buyer beware!! I'll take a small business owner any day.

Love this company. Treated my termites. The representative spent considerable time discussing my options and came to the house twice to inspect for termites (a second siting came up after his first visit). He was very knowledgeable and informed. Also very courteous and professional. The technician who came out was a seasoned professional and had been with the company many years. I had the utmost confidence in him. Also like the warranty the company offers. Will do further business with the company when I look into treating for subterranean termites in the not too distant future.

Today 11 mo the after I had cancelled and wrote a truthful review about the abominable service the Hulett had provided me, a received a message to contact their management. This once again is true to form of how bad their initial service was and obviously remains. I decided to look over their google reviews to see if maybe they had improved and I should have them a fair shake, only to see that they are running a review scam where 8 five star reviews were posted in the last 24 hours. My experience with Hullet Environmental is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any monthly service contractor. Several times over the life of my contract, they set appointments which led me to take off of work and didn’t show up. Then the manager had the balls to call me and say that they had been there and that I’m the one at fault..., when I explained that was impossible since I wasn’t even in town the last time they supposedly had serviced my my property, he insisted that the service was still done. Arrogant, unprofessional, untimely and just plan horrible customer service!!!

I realized yesterday when my technician called that he has been coming to my house since 2005! Think about how many people you still go to for some sort of service for more than 10 years? Not many! None of my issues related to creepy crawlers has ever escalated because of his service. Brian Record is amazing! He has always been available to help me. Even calls the day before he treats outside the house to see if I have any issues inside. Yesterday I asked him to help me with a small concern and he actually gave me the option for scheduling “ what time works best for you?”. This is a small example of how courtesy he ALWAYS is.

For my technician, Paul S. is without question, THE BEST! He is extremely knowledgeable, polite, personable, calls the day before to let us know he is coming, and most important...keeps us pest free! It is such a pleasure in today's world to encounter someone that truely takes pride in his work, and takes it very seriously.I have been using Hulett for the past 14 years! Paul has been our technician since day one. Living in Florida, you almost expect to see a bug in your home once in a while.Not if you have Hulett. We NEVER have any bugs..Ever. Over the years there were times when we had to "tighten the belt" and think about where we could cut costs in our budget. Eliminating Hulett was NEVER an option! I have flees in my home. Someone came to my home to tell me what is going on. He had no clue what he was talking about. He tells me that you can always see fleas but actually you can't. They wanted to charge me close to 400 dollars without treating my home for fleas. Every other person I called said if you see one or two there is a lot in the house. I did my research as well and it says the same thing. I cancelled my order. Will never recommend this place to anybody. I hate that I have to write this but the guy literally had no clue what he was talking about. Now I have someone coming tomorrow for half the price and they know what they are doing. A reputable company.
