They are the absolute worst. Their traps were installed as part of my Pulte home being built. One free year. Free? Please, termites won't appear the first year after a home is built because the builder treats for termites before building. After one year, they send me bills. I call them and tell them I am not going to renew. They start sending late notices. I had to call several times before they finally stopped sending bills. Yet, their sales department keeps calling me. They then came out and removed the traps from my yard without arranging with me first or having the courtesy to knock on the door. They left nice holes in my yard, guess it was too much for them to bother pouring a little top soil in the holes they left. Complete lack of professionalism and courtesy.

The people that we used to know were leaving the company because their management is getting worst. It is affecting to their services toward our home. The new people that they hired is lacking of expereience and the person who answer the phone is very rude and disrespectful. We decided to stop using their services few months ago. We have been a Home Team client since we bought our new home 2 years ago. Our home is new construction in a once rural area, so we expected to have some pest issues. That hasn’t been the case though. Home Team and our technician Kevin have done such a good job, we have only had to call Kevin out one time to handle some unexpected critters in our home since we moved in. Kevin is personable and has so much knowledge about pest and pest control, we know we are in good hands. I highly recommend you use Home Team and if your in Kevin’s area that would be even better !

This company is a joke!! All nice and helpful to win your business, but once you sign the paper they get you for everything you've got!! We made it clear to the technician during our initial service that we only want this to be a one time service and even checked the option for one time charge. However, he filled out the paperwork and we ended up signing up for an agreement anyway, without even knowing. My fault for not reading the paperwork in detail, I even admitted this to them. The lady even said there was no Autopay form filled out, which only further proves that the autopay was never the agreement. Anyways, at the end of this I still ended up with a bill for the service that they were never supposed to perform, they luckily showed up while no one was home otherwise I would have declined the service. Let' see how much in legal fees they are willing to spend to recoop $95, because they aren't getting it from me :) STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Read the other reviews, this is how they are still in business. THIEVES!!

I was more than excited to add new services to my existing plan with HomeTeam due to the positive results I’ve experienced and confidence I have in my technician (Mike Navarra). I’ve used pest control companies in the past, but HomeTeam exceeds my expectations. They’re responsive, their treatments are effective, they’re extremely professional and friendly. I fought red ants for 8 months. Having just relocated to FL, I'd never had to deal with them before. Though always choking to death, we sprayed ant spray like crazy but they kept coming back. Just 1 crumb would bring them out immediately... we could never figure out how they found the food so quickly. Swarms of them took over the counters, drawers, pantry, microwave, dishwasher, closets, bathroom counters & tubs. We even found them in the water in the iron!! Finally i couldn't take it anymore and I asked around. My neighbor told me about Home Team and how they use technology via tubes in the walls of the house. Though it seemed a bit expensive, i was desperate and decided to try them out. I quickly found it was well worth it and never looked back since. The staff and rep who came to the house were very friendly and I haven't seen those heathenous ants again. Thank you Home Team. I am so happy and I will never move anywhere that doesn't have tubes in the wall!

Frauds!!! Will not cancel service and keep trying to charge you. We lived in Tampa Palms. We were their customers for a year.I cancelled service after ants were always in my house.Their tech came in and gave me a long lecture on ants and their life cycle.In any case, after 4-5 months of cancelling, they called me asking for money on outstanding bills.I said I cancelled, they denied it. Their rep Helen Brown stated "we always give a cancellation code.Do you have it?"Well, I did not remember. So, I asked her to cancel now.She said ok-then proceeded to tell me that she was emailing me the cancellation code.Despite email requests and phone calls, still no cancellation code. I think they extort money by refusing to cancel services. Bunch of crooks, dishonest. My account was under the name P.Aneja.

Our house is kept free of issues, and he's treated our lanai and lawn on occasion when we've noticed something. He couldn't be more polite, and if we ever have an issue, we call them and they're out right away to take care of whatever we found. I'm a picky customer, and they've handled our contract well.

The technician came out to check the baits and parked in front of my mail box. The mail person came and would not deliver the mail because of the truck blocking the mailbox. Now I won't get mail till Monday. I've been waiting for some prescriptions as I have cancer so its important to me. I wish people would THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No cars were parked on the street, he had the whole block to park.

I have used Hometeam Pest Defense for 2 years. I had to call them out several times in between scheduled services for pest issues and eventually gave up calling them out. I had scorpions IN my house that they said they could not do anything about and have dealt with ants multiple times in the past 2 years. I decided not to renew with them this year when my last service was completed. They came out again to my house and sprayed without my permission or consent, then sent me an invoice. I refused to pay it so they are threatening to send my bill to a collection agency. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are not worth the money because you will still have pests. Complete waste of money and poor customer service.

We have used Home Team for the past 11 years. At one time they were good. Something happened a couple of years ago and ever since then the management of the company has been terrible. Maybe they were bought out. I guess that happens often when a good company gets bought by a big company, service and prices suffer. First they raised prices but stated they would give a discount if they could auto access my checking account whenever they billed. I declined. So basically they are charging me extra for not giving them the keys to the bank. We've had increasing problems with roaches and ants over the past couple years. So I pay them whenever I get around to it. Twice they have had a collection company contact me. Our service tech has been the same since we started, so I attribute our increasing bug problem to the company using inferior products. Unfortunately our service tech, Joe, is a great guy and I hate to leave him but the management is rotten, the price has gone up, and the quality has declined and I'm done with them.

Synopsis I tried EVERYTHING to get rid of sugar ants. NOTHING worked. I called HomeTeam Pest Defense, which I used in the past but due to budget cuts in my house, I had to leave them Never an ant seen again! I called hometeam pest defense and BAM never seen one again! I am extremely happy with their service. They call the day before to let me know they will be there the next day. I do not have to be home either. They also remove spider webs, wasps nests, etc. Highly recommended!

The technician came out to check the baits and parked in front of my mail box. The mail person came and would not deliver the mail because of the truck blocking the mailbox. Now I won't get mail till Monday. I've been waiting for some prescriptions as I have cancer so its important to me. I wish people would THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have used Hometeam Pest Defense for 2 years. I had to call them out several times in between scheduled services for pest issues and eventually gave up calling them out. I had scorpions IN my house that they said they could not do anything about and have dealt with ants multiple times in the past 2 years. I decided not to renew with them this year when my last service was completed. They came out again to my house and sprayed without my permission or consent, then sent me an invoice. I refused to pay it so they are threatening to send my bill to a collection agency. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are not worth the money because you will still have pests. Complete waste of money and poor customer service.

We have used Home Team for the past 11 years. At one time they were good. Something happened a couple of years ago and ever since then the management of the company has been terrible. Maybe they were bought out. I guess that happens often when a good company gets bought by a big company, service and prices suffer. First they raised prices but stated they would give a discount if they could auto access my checking account whenever they billed. I declined. So basically they are charging me extra for not giving them the keys to the bank. We've had increasing problems with roaches and ants over the past couple years. So I pay them whenever I get around to it. Twice they have had a collection company contact me. Our service tech has been the same since we started, so I attribute our increasing bug problem to the company using inferior products. Unfortunately our service tech, Joe, is a great guy and I hate to leave him but the management is rotten, the price has gone up, and the quality has declined and I'm done with them.

Specifically one now on Tampa Bay. We used this service for few properties and is ok until Jun-2018. Suddenly the service stopped. Then we called and found the technician changed, and the office was SO TERRIBLE on the schedule. When they finally send the new service man to our home: he didn't do the service and refused to provide the service on garage and spray on side of the fence gate and left; i called and the office send another one came and ants on our small yard so we called again and the same person came and the ants dig the soil up again... The service should be every season but they 1) missed the original service so the service delayed, within 20 days the technician called and wanted come for service again and very aggressive; 2) Since the new owner of the office from Jun-2018, the service can't control ants. The manager (who knows who is who) came and said he will treat that and still ants issue on same area; 3) I am working in home and a contract was replacing our door and i got an invoice today and was called said someone came to have service today!! I asked the contract did he see anybody came to our yard for pest control service and the contract said: someone came and he asked what does he need and that person left. When i point this out to the woman on the phone, she tried to change her statement for someone came to our home and had service! We should have one more service but the office woman said NO, your service all be provided! I asked to provide me the evidence for when and who provide the service and nothing send to my email. This woman asked to extend our contract. Seriously, i wanted to drop the service because i paid full but i didn't . NO any reason for us to pay money to this cheating new owner!! We will stop all properties pest service with this business and will report this Tampa Bay business to the Franchise company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CHEATING BUSINESS!

When we bought the house this company was recommended by the builder - this is a brand new house and we do not have junk in the house also we try to keep the house as clean as possible. We are paying these guys to keep the bugs away and when there were few bugs inside the house we called them and guy goes..... This is Florida you are going to have bugs. I wonder what is the use of these guys if they cannot keep the bugs away. Tried them for 4 months I am calling them to discontinue the service. Attitude of one of the tech guy was so insulting.
