So far I am extremely impressed with Hoffer! My wife and I have had concerns about termites in our area after buying our house this summer. I called Hoffer and the lady who answered the phone, Rose, was very polite and helpful and I appreciate that they send a confirmation email with the appointment into and a photo of the person scheduled to visit. Alex came over for a free initial inspection within 24 hours. He checked out our property and was very thorough both in his inspection and in his explanation of treatment and prevention options. He was extremely personable and easy to talk with; he had no problem answering all of our questions and even offered pictures he had taken during previous work to help illustrate his stories and examples. We plan on purchasing a pest control and termite prevention plan with Hoffer, so I will update my review when that is put into action. I look forward to working with them. Edit - Update 7/16/2017: So far our experience with Hoffer has been great. We had the Sentricon termite control installed and haven't had an issue with them since. Someone from Hoffer comes every few months to check on them and to spray for other pests. The service is affordable and gives us the peace of mind of being pest free!

We have had a quarterly agreement with Hoffer Pest Solutions for several years now. But we recently had a severe ant problem that did not respond to their initial treatment. It has been a very annoying and costly event for us.tge original “problem solver” they sent out advised me to buy better sealable containers for everything in my pantry. I went out and spent about $150 on new containers and had to throw out at least $200 worth of food from my pantry. He scheduled a “re-treat” visit but another guy came out and was actually thorough and sought out the point of entry for the ants and spent the time to realize that I also had “pantry pests!” I am a “clean freak” so this freaked me out. But Michael used a different treatment and actually plugged the entry point and treated outside and took care of the problem. Then he scheduled a return visit for himself. He did a great job. For his visits I would have given 5 stars but considering the first guy gave a quick view and assessment and left and that we have paid them a costly monthly charge for years I think it shouldn’t have taken so long to resolve and cost me so much money overall. Essentially I am reaching the point of thinking the monthly charge for quarterly service isn’t worth it.

Whatever I need to get done through Hoffer, he is on it and in a very timely manner. The second is William Parker. I needed an issue resolved at my home and William not only called when he was on his way (Sounds like a small thing but not everyone does that), was an absolute delight when he was here, resolved the issue, cleaned up after he treated and was all smiles while doing the job he came to do. He arrived on time, put booties on his shoes without being asked and was wearing a pressed shirt and tie. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. I've been using them for over 10 years because my in-laws recommended them. My in-laws were using them for almost 20 years. Then... they decided not to show up for an indoor treatment at my in-laws. Not the end of the world, but when my sweet mother inlaw called about it they were VERY RUDE and refuse to refund her. Now Hoffer has cost themselves TWO loyal customers who ALWAYS pay on time. Very stupid way to do business. If they can behave this way to a 20 year customer, imagine how much they value a new customer.

I had a very bad cockroach infestation in my rental home. For a better idea of the situation, they are a townhouse style condo quad, so there were a gazillion points of entry, plus one of the units was having remodeling work done, after being empty for about 6 months. My landlord sent another company to take care of the problem, only to have the creepers come back after a week. When I called my landlord to give him the bad news, coincidentally, he was having his contractual maintenance done. He asked his technician to stop by and spray again as well as place traps for me. He told me he was surprised that the other company did not leave any bait and traps. I was shocked since I was told by the first tech that he had placed traps. Long story short (sorry!) I had not seen a single roach for a couple months. Just until recently I have seen two. In my opinion, based on the crazy infestation I had, Hoffer Pest gets 5 stars from me and I absolutely recommend them.

We live in Boca Raton on a canal where mosquitos and other bugs alike congregate. We were good for a year after buying our house but this month we saw a roach and small mite-type things in the kitchen. Immediately, we reached out to a friend who uses a good company and is very competitively priced, Hoffer Pest Control. We called and had an appt with their Boca Raton representative, Brian V, within a day. Brian could not be a nicer guy and knows his job inside and out. He is very professional and courteous and gave us some great tips on how to keep additional bugs away. He treated our interior and exterior and we have not seen 1 bug since. He’s very thorough and even comes back after a week or so to see if there are anymore issues, which they’re weren’t. If you live in the Boca Raton area and are need of an exterminator, don’t hesitate to call Hoffer Pest Control and request Brian V. specifically. Such a great company! I highly recommend them. I initially inquired about their services online through the 'Get A Quote' feature on Google. I reached out to them over the weekend, and regardless of their offices being closed, I received a reply informing me that they'll reach out Monday morning once they're open. Sure thing, Bill called me first thing on Monday and suggested the best service option for my housing-type and pest-issues. Donald was able to come out the same week to inspect my property and start treatment. I saw results instantly! Donald was super knowledgeable and explained exactly how he planned to treat the issue and suggested ways I could also assist to ensure a successful treatment. Today, 10 days after the initial treatment, Donald came back to check on the progress and spot treat a couple of areas. We are very pleased with everything Hoffer Pest Solutions has done for us. We had HPS tent and fumigate our house that we just bought in November 2017. Since we like their service, we decided to renew our contract with them on Drywood Termite Fumigation. Upon renewal, James Dyer came out to inspect our house. He was very courteous, friendly and thorough. He advised us to purchase their Home Shield Advantage package which offers the prevention of all kinds of insects, ants, rodents and most importantly subterranean termites. We are aware that it is important to have these service to protect our property all year round because we are living in a tropical climate right here in South Florida. Plus, we thought this package was a good deal, price wise and service wise. Kevin was the service person who came to perform the initial treatment and set up everything accordingly to the package that we bought. Kevin was on time. His personality was very courteous, pleasant and friendly. He answered all the questions that we had professionally. He did his jobs efficiently and cleaned up. One can tell he must have a lot of experience and good knowledge in this business. We were very pleased to have Kevin as our service person.

I am so impressed with this company. I actually chose HOFFER based on neighbor’s recommendation and the quality of the product they use. My initial inquiry resulted in meeting with James, whom patiently explained various pest control options. James was a great “teacher” - explaining the various plans and making suggestions for my home - with an understanding eye on my retirees’ wallet. Today, I met Hans who treated my home like it was his. He took the time to explain the what and why he was doing as well as taking it upon himself to reschedule my follow up appointment.. What stands out to me is the level of customer service; both men are a credit to the company.
