I have used Good News (formerly Macy’s) since I purchased my home in 2013. They were recommended by my Realtor and they came to debug my residence and yard, before we moved into our house. They have serviced our property with wildlife and pet friendly products that keep the pests away and keep the fire ants at bay too! I do not have a bug or any problem inside my house, even though I have pets going in/out and they Do Not use anything inside the house. They treat the perimeter outside and the yard. I grew up in Florida and am familiar with the “bug” issue here! The bugs are very rarely seen, even in the garage! Our servicer, Jim, always calls to let me know he is scheduled to come and asks if that time is ok and if there are any particular issues to address. After the visit is complete and a few days have gone by, someone from Good News calls to make sure all was satisfactory. They also can rid your shed of rats, without harming other wildlife. We border up to woods and had an infestation 3 years ago. No nests anymore! I’m very happy with Good News Pest Control.

I can describe a bug I found in the house and, so far, he’s always known what kind it is, how to treat it, and he normally has a few fun facts about the bug that he shares with me. I have learned so much about ants! I never knew there were so many different kinds. My technician Jeff is so personable. He is the reason I stay with Good News. I started when I bought my house several years ago and had it rented. I paid my yearly fee to keep the coverage from that initial service; but was disappointed the past three years in having to request (insist upon) a yearly inspection through that was not being scheduled by Good News at yearly renewal. Thankfully Jeff was sent as my technician and put a friendly face to the service as well as listening to my concerns. I believe customer service can change with communication, and my last experience is proof of that opinion. Thank you Jeff!

Absolutely horrendous. Do not use them for a WDO when buying a house. They take your money and don’t follow up. Ordered a WDO the day we went under contract. Finally got the report via email at 4:18 pm on day 10, 42 minutes before our inspection period expired. Called numerous times but never received phone calls back. My realtor called, too, but he didn’t get any response either. No one seemed to care that they dropped the ball. I requested a phone call about this unacceptable service. Still waiting for that call. Beware. Don’t use them for a WDO, a service they did for free when they were Macy’s.
