Over a year ago I had a door to door sales rep approach our house as we were trying to leave for an evening out with our kids. The gentleman offered a free quick evaluation to see if we had similar issues as our neighbors. He entered our basement and immediately pointed out a spider and claimed it was a brown recluse and that it was extremely urgent to have treatments done. I certainly have no interest in having poisonous spiders in my home with 3 children under 6 so I signed up for the 5 visit 1 year plan. 5 visits and almost $600 later we still have spiders, mice, ants, webs, etc. I had several professionals check the spiders in my basement and they all said they were very common Wolfe spiders. Also the “carpenter ant” problem in my basement were just holes drilled from my electrician. I wasn’t going to complain about the lies and tactics but they visited a 6th time and said that the contract automatically renews unless I give written notice. The customer service representative I spoke to was extremely rude and even said I shouldn’t trust there sales people I should read my contract. They refuse to refund me for the 6th visit dispite my willingness to pay for the contracted 5 visits. Worst customer service, worst sales tactics. I wonder how many people get told they have deadly critters in there house and end up spending hard earned money to get rid of nothing. Or get rid of common harmless spiders. Still haven’t heard of a resolution and still haven’t had anybody willing to have a human conversation outside of contractual talk

About 3 months ago, I had this company come out and treat my home for bed bugs. This process took about 2 whole months because the first guy we had did not do the job correctly so then we FINALLY got someone new and they seemed to do a good job but recently I’m now finding bed bugs in between the cushions of my couch because whoever came out did not separate the couch, so we probably had bed bugs in between my sectional. Now I’m finding bed bug droppings on my mattress cover on my box spring. This is EXTREMELY STRESSFUL. Words can not describe my frustration and I do not feel comfortable in my own home. These treatments are too expensive to not work!!!

I have to drive a lot for work and today I followed a Pointe truck all the way to Kettle Falls. At first I was very upset because this truck held almost exactly the speed limit. I made note of the truck number however. The only number I could find was the number 46 in the window. I took it down after I saw this truck masterfully navigate scenario after scenario effortlessly and calmly. Today was a very bad day on that highway and this driver handled it with the upmost quality and skill. More than a handful of times I saw the driver avoid collisions that most people would have been unable to avoid. Through the whole hour and a half I followed this truck, it displayed nothing but impressive driving habits. Not only for the drivers own safety but of those around them as well. Constantly alerting drivers and staying vigilant. I'm sad to say I do not use them for pest control but if they have even half the quality and knowledge that this driver did on the road for pest control I would say there is no doubt that they are above and beyond. Please let the driver of number 46 get the credit they deserve. I hope to utilize Pointe in the future, very impressed.

Third time in two weeks a pest salesman knocked on my door well marked with "No Soliciting". I asked him if he could read then pointed to the sign. He said he saw it and proceeded to give me his pitch. If they are that disrespectful of my wishes, it's not a company I want to do business with. Two of the three times I was woken up because I sleep during the day and I also have an aggressive dog. There's a reason those signs are up.

The admin. office will give a courtesy reminder call before coming out (which I like). The product they use is organic and gets the job done. I like their rosemary product that is used around the perimeter of our house to keep the bugs away. Every quarter Pointe will come out and tackle what ever pests bug is out during the certain times. I have used this company for a few years now and I’m more than pleased with their product and services. Pointe Pest Control took a different approach to pest control than what I was used to in the past. First off they use what I like to call a “barrier of defense” method to protect your home, meaning most if not all of the major work happens on the exterior of your home. This stops the unwanted pest from even entering my home and also eliminates those unwanted odors from pesticides. But, in the event the problem is inside they use a combination of natural based products to combat the problem. The service technicians are very knowledgeable and professional, and they are very focused on leaving your home as clean as they found it to be upon their arrival. The customer satisfaction warranty allows for you to call them out anytime between scheduled services at no additional charge for your peace of mind. It has been a positive experience using Pointe.

Pointe Pest has been the best pest control we've ever had. They're much more reasonably priced than others we've used before (like Arrow) and they come out a day or two after I call. We need tick control for the backyard, and they also put a perimeter treatment around the house to keep the bugs out. They treat my property quarterly. But during the summer, I need extra tick treatments in the backyard. There's never a charge for these interim treatments. We also get the occasional bug in the house, especially during the early spring and late fall. For this, they spray around all the water pipes in the house. We also get the occasional small critter in the basement. They put down traps for these critters, and the small interior traps are also not charged. These traps have been very effective at keeping these small critters away.

I needed someone to inspect an outbreak of what appeared to be either drain flies or gnats. I wasn't sure where the root of the problem was and was concerned about leaky pipes. I wanted a pest control company to confirm whether or not they were coming from the floors or elsewhere. The technician arrived at my home within one hour of the initial phone call and carefully inspected. Apparently, they weren't drain flies but regular flies that had nested in a newly placed house plant. He was very knowledgeable and gave me options for treatment. Would definitely hire! This company is a big scam, they came knocking door to door to solicit business. Sales rep. did an inspection and informed me that I had rodents in the basement and carpenter ants, I got tricked and signed up with a promise that they would resolve my Rodents problem. Technicians would come to my house when no one is home and charge me. 7 months later and plenty of emails and phone calls back and fourth and my issue is not resolved. Very unprofessional scam artists of a company!!!! Do not get fooled!

As I was instructed I called them to return for another application and was given an appointment for the next day with a four hour window. We waited all afternoon and through dinner time - — 6 hours—- but no one showed up and the office was closed. They came out 4 times to spray for wasps--still have the wasps. They advised to wait 7-10 days for the product to work....after 40 days we are still dealing with wasps. Their solution was to continue spraying a solution that obviously did not work.

While I was working on the front of my house, I was approached my two Point salesman. I could easily see neither had a township permit to solicit door to door. The service they were selling sounded good and the salesman speaking was nice. I signed up for the service and had added the carpenter bee spray. Pointe came to my house and "allegedly sprayed and treated" my property. I watched the technician spray but he did not treat the carpenter bee problem. I asked him why he didn't spray the nests and he said the chemical solution "would work its way in". Weeks later, I noticed the bee problem did not go away nor did my ant problem. I cancelled the service and of course I was still charged the $150 fee. I noticed Pointe still going door to door and approached my neighbors and advised not to sign up which they did not. I will continue to inform people of the bad service and I will be contacting the township to advise of the violations which Pointe violated.

Just received an unsolicited knock on my door from a representative of Pointe Pest Control. They're not even from this area. It appears they are going door to door, hitting up nice neighborhoods, trying to solicit business with scare tactics. The representative let me know that he just came from my neighbor's home and dropped her name. He asked if I heard what's going on in the area. He said they are doing a lot of work around the corner (I've never heard of them or seen their trucks and he asked if I use one of the local companies). He advised me that there's an infestation of carpenter ants in the area. I told him I wasn't interested and instead of using the walkway, he proceeded to walk across my newly planted grass, that just started to sprout!

Customer service is very tolerant. I would not recommend the products, though. For the past year I have used their services due to a contract (they don't do services for one time - at least that's what I was told when I first called them). During the last year, I have had more visits by them than by family and friends. And I still have wasps, spiders, earwigs, and every other creepy crawlie throughout my home - inside and out. I have resorted to purchasing products at the store that work far better than their stuff, and significantly cheaper. I spent over $500 for a year with Pointe, and less than $50 at the store to do the same job. No thank you!

Company came for mice problem, literally did nothing but put down some traps. Came out a couple times to replace the bait which was not being eaten. I asked if there was anything else they could do and said there wasn't much else they could do. Hired a competitor, Resolution Pest, and they actually went about removing the problem by examining the house, examining places mice could get in , went about filling holes and essentially created a plan of attack to eliminate the problem. Don't use these guys.

Been using Point Pest for about 5 years now and have been very happy overall with the service!! Had a wasp issue that was constantly reoccurring. No matter how many times I called they always came out to try and get rid of the problem. Took a few attempts but was resolved. The new guy we have now is really good. I wish I could give 0 stars for these lying, manipulative, thieving BULLIES! After THEY DID NOT HONOR OUR AGREEMENT, I canceled at the end of my year contract via phone, which I paid in advance. FYI DON'T EVER PAY IN ADVANCE! Once they get your money, they don't care about you! No ethics at all! Then they come to my house & try to charge me for the next quarterly spray, that I did NOT order after I canceled NOR WOULD I EVER RECCOMEND THEM TO ANYONE! They THREATENED they'll turn me into COLLECTIONS if I don't pay! Are you kidding me? So RELUCTANTLY I PAID because unlike them I have morals, pay my bills which my CREDIT report shows & I didn't want a hit over those lying thieves. Now 10 YEARS LATER I received PAYROLL GARNISHMENT papers stating I never paid & because I can't get a check copy from a closed bank I had to NOW PAY A COLLECTION COMPANY ANOTHER $800 to prevent anymore fees and COURT! LYING, CHEATING AND STEALING are their specialty! They don't care about anyone but their wallets! UTTERLY DISHEARTENING!

Update: Jessica come out to perform our final treatment since due to all the problems we have had with pointe we decided to move on to another company. If Pointe had sent out Jessica at any time before this final treatment, we probably would have stayed with Pointe. Review left for historical reasons --------------- Where do I start... Only the sales visit went right. It went down hill from there. First scheduled service (August 2018) - Tech said the office didn't give him any notes. If I didn't have the form filled out during the initial visit from the sales rep he would have no idea what he was supposed to do. Second scheduled service (November 2018) - Never happened. We called (our agreement clearly says they are supposed to be calling us to schedule) got scheduled for December 13. Never showed up. Called was told they would get back to me. Two weeks later tech just randomly showed up. Again no notes from the office and a whole lot of excuses. Third Service (March 2019) - Confirmed the March visit, Tech pulls up to the house. Runs up to the front door, hangs a sorry we missed you door tag and drove off. He never knocked or rang the doorbell. Called immediately after he pulled away and he came back, he said he didn't want to disturb our dog. And of course, no notes from the office and whole lot of excuses. Last straw with that Tech, told pointe not to send him again since there always seems to be an issue with him showing up Visit In between service call . Finally someone decent showed up, different tech then the last 3 visits. This tech had office notes. Fourth led for Today (June 29 2019). Two hours after our appointment time, and no one showed up. We called, and were told someone should have called you, you were rescheduled for July 20 2019. No one ever called. Dealing with pointe should not be this difficult.

The gentleman, Malik, wears cover booties over his shoes when he comes into my house and asks questions about where the problem areas are.
