Mirror gone (good, it was broken by Orkin in a previous visit), some holes filled, others not, no apparent cleanup. New appointment 9/26: troops showed up at 9:30 and service report email at 10:05. No warning of their intention to visit the house today nor of when they planned to show up. Tradition of poor service continues. 2/15: inspection happened as scheduled. Seems like termites are under control. Inspector promised wasps would be controlled too as spring comes. We’ll see, this didn’t happen last year. Could be service improvement!

Our tech, Mike, is great. Very reliable, detailed and professional. Always takes care of my concerns and is very knowledgeable. My five-star rating is for Mike. The Orkin office however needs to get their schedule and notifications aligned. Notification post cards sometimes arrive after my visit and they always have the incorrect service date. But, they never fail to have the bill arrive before service.

Well, I only had one treatment so I can’t say too much yet bc I haven’t had a whole lot of time to really experience orkin but so far all the spiders have been just falling and died pretty fast with in minutes after treatment. The Orkin crew did a very thorough job sealing the perimeter of the house to exclude pests like mice and insects. The procedure was carefully explained beforehand and after the work was completed follow up activities were also well explained. The technicians were polite, professional, and efficient.

John Hagan was pretty thorough at the inspection and reported no evidence of termites and all we had were some flying ants. But as for the Mosquitoe protection thats a different story. We bought and paid for the service for the entire summer but so far an hour dark we are driven back in doors by these little pests. I'll give it a week or so more before I start calling the office to complain.

4 stars. Nice to have the outside treatment. Have been unable to get an inside treatment. Only day that there is someone to let Orkin inside is Friday. Seems to only want to arrive on any other day of the week. Is there nobody working on Fridays? Consistent problem with this. It's very irritating to come home on Thursday to find a note from Orkin that they missed us for inside treatment when repeatedly told to come Friday.

Our appointments are consistently flawless. This appointment was a little different as we received the “reminder card” the day before the scheduled appointment. I called immediately but the office was closed so I left a message. The next morning I called again and left the same message canceling the appointment since we would not be home and wanted the garage done. We received no call back but Mike, our technician, did show up and treated the outside of the house. He always does a great job! We need more notice to schedule our appointments and hope this was an exception rather than a change in procedure.

If I could give zero stars I would! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! I called at 6:52am and was offered same day service between 4pm and 6pm. I was told the initial service would be $139 and afterwards over $80 monthly. I scheduled the service because we were in need of pest control ASAP. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP. No one called to explain why they hadn’t shown. I called back around 8pm and explained that no one ever showed up to my house to perform a service and I wanted to make sure my card would not be charged. The person on the phone then told me the office closed at 5pm and he would leave a note on my account. I received a text message at 11:39 pm asking me to leave a review about my service so I decided to look at my bank information and my card had been charged $139!! Absolutely HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A HORRIBLE BUSINESS. Will never use them again!

I called that morning and they were at my house within 4hrs. Can't get any better than that. Got my first spray done today. The gentleman comes back in 4 weeks for the second treatment. Will update my review based on what happens at the house. So far so good. The guy was super friendly and very funny. Update Aug 21 19' Will contine forever with my service. Matt is great. He always calls when hes 10 mins away. I havent had any ants inside my house all summer. (Hallelujah) I also get the outside of my house sprayed for mosquitoes & tick. It has improved the mosquitoes from eating me alive to rarely getting bitten unless we have a very rainy month. Havent had a tick on me all summer long.

Orkin is prompt and thorough. I showed them where the ants were coming in, and they spray periodically to keep them away. I usually don't even have to be home, since my pests are coming from outside. I get an email which tells me when the next service date is, and a door hanger that lets me know they came. I can even get an e-bill and pay on line.

Orkin has been a good investment. We had an issue with field mice when we first purchased this property. Orkin shows up when expected and leaves helpful tips as well. My only concern was budgeting so being locked in for a year was a bit stressful however it was worth it as we no longer have the issue of field mice.
