I was very impressed with this company. I called on 7/16/19 due to bees in the front of my house. From my initial phone call to the completion of the job everyone was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. They told me they could send a tech Ed Vargus out that day between 11:30 and 2;30, he called at 12:00 arrived at 12:26. He was very friendly and professional and did an excellent job. Would recommend Richland Pest & Bee Control Co. to anyone that I know who needs this service. If I need this service again, I will definitely call. So nice to find a company with great customer service.

Richland Pest and Bee Control Co. came and preformed an ant clean out and bee barrier in April. I called them this morning because I saw a couple ants and noticed some sawdust on our deck from some wasps. Justin was at our house within 20 mins to take care of the issue. Justin was super friendly and extremely patient with our two dogs. He asked questions to make sure he treated the correct locations, explained to me what he was going to do and even did a little extra to spray the soil near our problem area. These guys are my heroes! Not only did they answer the phone at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon, something my previous pest control company did not do ("please leave a message", no I don't think so), but they dispatched a technician the following day. The problem was a HUGE wasp nest well hidden in a honeysuckle bush near where we hang out daily on our patio. Mary, who took my call initially, explained to me how to figure out if they were foraging bees or nesting bees, since I hadn't yet found the nest when I called. I appreciated the fact that she had my best interests in mind in avoiding a needless service call. The tech Justin, whom I dubbed the "bee whisperer" was thorough, personable, positive, upbeat and fast throughout the process. He explained what he was doing throughout the process and what we should expect in the coming day or two as the bees diminish. It's a huge plus for this company that they are 24/7. I would totally use them again since they really seem to be about the customer service. Prices were extremely reasonable i thought. I'm super glad I found this company for sure.

They are my go-to for pest control. Having a clapboard house surrounded by thicket of trees, there are mice and bee issues. Wow! All I can say is WOW. Every communication from Richland Pest & Bee Control was exceptional. From the first phone call with Mary, to Michael explaining the reason and protocol to eliminate our flea infestation, and, Zach, the technician who actually did the job was beyond our expectations. We spent weeks trying to get rid of the fleas by ourselves until we knew there was no way we could have gotten rid of them. Within 2 days there was no sign of fleas in the house or on our pets. Wish we had called them sooner!

After coming home tonight to a bedroom full of 25 yellow jackets that had eaten their way through my son’s closet ceiling from the roof and were flying around the room, I slammed the door shut and called Richland Pest and Bee Control. I was beside myself when I was told a technician might not be able to come until tomorrow morning. The manager sensed how upset I was and promised to call me back within a few minutes. Justin, the technician, or as I call him-my superhero-called me back and even after working a very long day, said he would be to my house in just ten minutes. He found the entry point externally and internally and took care of the problem. Justin is kind, reassuring, neat and he knows his “bees”! He can explain, articulately, every step of the eradication process. I wholeheartedly recommend Richland and Justin for yellow jacket removal!

I'm very pleased by the service provided by Richland Pest Control. I had a hornets nest snuggled right under my electric meter and called Richland. Even on a Sunday they were open, The women Sandy on the phone was very informative and helpful when it came to explaining what happened and how they will be able to take care of it. They were able to fit me in the next day. Zach, the technician was very professional and went through step by step with me what he was going to do. He made quick work of the bees nest and the job was complete in about 45 minutes, and answered any and all questions after. Will definitely be going back if I have any encounters with bees in the future.

While trimming our Rhododendrons, we came a cross one of the largest white faced hornets nest we’ve ever seen, about 4 feet off the ground. After a search of pest controllers in the Glastonbury area, we were fortunate to come across Richland in our search. Called at 8am, Andrew arrived same day at scheduled time, called thirty minutes prior as FYI, took care of our hornet problem in no time at all. He was able to remove nest same day (unlike competitors who come back in a week then remove). He also sprayed area with preventive. This company is great. Since we moved into the Vernon area in August last year we have used their services on 3 different occasions. First, we had a nest of wasps inside the wall of my house so they were coming inside the house. Richland came out and explained the wasp behavior and the treatment they would do to eliminate the problem. Unfortunately the wasps were in a very tough spot so these guys had to come out a few times to retreat (first time they came was a fair price in my opinion, retreats were done at a discount). This spring we called them again to come out and do the "bee barrier" to help prevent any more incidents like last year. We didn't have any problems around the perimeter of the house after that. 4 months later what we did have was a ground nest underneath our fish pond liner of all places. Once again, Richland came to the rescue. I was able to call and get service in the same day. The supervisor called me before they came back out to clarify details regarding the fish pond and explained the different options and how the chemicals could affect our fish. As promised, all activity in the nest area stopped within 48 hours and we could feel safe about our dogs playing in the backyard again. I definitely recommend utilizing this company if you have any bug, bee, or pest problem. They do what they say they will on a fair price and are great about fitting in appointments into busy schedules like my own. Hopefully we won't have to call again soon, but I am confident that if we have a bug problem I know who to call for help.

He quickly took care of the nest, was very professional, and cleaned up the dead wasps and debris after the nest was removed. I will be calling them for preventative services next season.

A different (and more expensive) pest company had not been able to solve our issue despite multiple sessions. Richland solved the problem with one session. The technician James Zapp is fantastic. Technician arrived at about 1:00 pm. I showed him where I had encountered bees and got numerous stings. I went back in the house while he got suited up and inspected the area. He could not find any evidence of bees. He cleaned the area and then got me back outside to explain what he thought may have occurred. After conferring with his office there was no charge for his services. This was quite a surprise. I would recommend them to anyone and give them a 5-star rating.
