When this company was actually Insight I had no problems. I would have given at least a 4 star review. Now Insight is Terminix and they rate a zero star review. I had my last treatment in April and a couple of days ago I saw some ants in the house. I called the number I had for Insight and after a 5 minute conversation in which I was asked my name, address, email and a description of the ants I was put on hold for another 5 minutes.When the rep came back on the phone she said that they were now Terminix and she would transfer me. I wasn't actually transferred to a live person, I got the generic voice prompts. Another 10 minutes on hold for a live person and I had to give all my info again. The good news, I was given a time of between 5 and 7 the same night for a service visit. The bad news, no one showed up! When I called in the morning (8 minutes on hold for someone to pick up) I was told (after another 3 minutes on hold) that a manager named Sean would call me "shortly" to see what happened and reschedule. It is 9 hours later and I am still waiting for a call. Never again.

Would give ZERO stars if it was available. One of the WORST experiences I have ever had with a business. RUN do not walk AWAY from this company. The door to door salesman (K.O. Burt) seemed like a nice young man and charmed me into a contract promising an easy exit if we were not 100% satisfied. They showed up once and left toy like items in our garage (to kill mice?) and sprinkled some granules around the house outside. They did not complete blocking accesses or filling bait boxes, as we discussed when I signed up. When I called to inquire it was like an act of congress to get through to a person. So, I texted the sales guy. He promised someone would come out to correct things until we were happy. Set an appointment. Stayed home from work. NO SHOW!! So, I called the sales guy again. Profuse apology followed by a new appointment set. NO SHOW TAKE 2!! Unreal. At this point my husband and I were completely done being patient. We called to cancel. Nope. No way to get them and no one calls back after many messages left. So I canceled my credit card payments. Then we heard from them by mail. Charging full price for NOTHING DONE and adding a cancellation fee after an hour long discussion with a rude customer service guy (Austin). I tried to nicely explain why we would not be paying this bill. They offered no reasonable solutions, only a $100 cancellation fee. From reading other reviews I was lucky. They charged others $170 to cancel!! This is a total SCAM of a company. Young upstarts thinking they are smarter than most homeowners and can take their money for nothing. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

In regard to the carpenter ants, they have have been reduced 90%, only a few stragglers on the porch streaming from my neighbors yard. I will definitely use this company again, as the price is extremely reasonable.

!!! Update..... stay far away after the regional manager called and assured me they would take care of me, they asked that i remove this post. The offered to pay 1/4 of the damages. No supervisor has ever set foot on my property and refuse to give me their insurance information. After one of their employees fell through my ceiling. The service manager wanted to know if I would be able to fix it on my own. They left a mess of drywall, electrical wires hanging down, and are giving me the run around! Stay very far Away from them!!!

My Insight technician was Michael and he did an outstanding job reviewing all the steps he would be doing to rid my home of ants and mice. His work was clean and timely. So far so good as I haven't seen an ant since the treatment was done. I also had one mouse caught in the sticky trap that Michael set. Well done!

We got our first treatment done two weeks ago but after a week later we started seeing a lot of ants, spider and ticks. I called insight and they booked another appointment with no additional charge. Edward Keeley, the technician, came to our house and did an amazing job. He covered the front and back yard. Also, he went into the woods in the backyard to do the treatment. He checked and did treatment on each and every window, doors, pathway, wall (interior and exterior). He also explained everything very well. An excellent technician I would recommend to anyone.

My credit card #'s were stolen and used to pay for services from this company. I didn't see those charges till much later about a year and contacted them to fix it. After numerous phone calls they finally told me that they can't refund the charges cause they don't have a way to verify that I was not associated in any way with the person that used my CC. The person ordered serviced for a Glastonbury address, a town where I have never lived before and the company simply tucked it away as they can't verity it. I was a victim of identity theft and they are not willing to help me in any way! I would strongly sugest to future customers to think twice before doing any business with them!

Kemar and Paul were my technicians for our initial service, and both were very professional and knowledgeable.They walked me through the entire process and answered a ton of questions along the way. I would like to see a collaborative method of compiling notes for our residence and service arrangement, as followup questions regarding future visits were a recurring theme. Overall though, I am satisfied with the initial service and look forward to positive results.

Having a dog and three children, my mind was at ease knowing everything that was used is plant based. Emerging wasps beginning to burrow under my siding disappeared shortly after the application. I have another company that services my lawn for pest and tick control but going by the positive feedback online about Insight, i decided to try them as well and i am not disappointed. I was schedules for a quick appointment and the technician Kemar was amazing and extremely professional. He patiently heard my concerns and gave his feedback to possible causes and solutions. They're great from beginning to end of the service I have No Complaints. They are everything you would want as far as a service company working on your house. The guys are all great and I never felt uncomfortable to let them in. They were very thorough. In fact I had to call them back twice, & they were there no questions asked and completed everything to our satisfaction. They called after every service to check on us. Something no one seems to be doing anymore but they do !! Seriously you won't be disappointed no need to call anyone else bc they're prices are more reasonable than most other pest Co's.

The technician Paul is very nice and does the services that I have asked for. However, I was having a huge wasp problem in my sunroom where my kids play they are under the age of 5. I called to have them reservice before my next quarterly visit and was told yes that I would get the reservice and then in about 4 weeks I would get my quarterly. Thats not what happened they charged me for my visit and when I complained they said sorry for the misunderstanding but we moved your quarterly up. I have called and can not get ahold of a person and when I email I get no response either. Im still having ant issues as well as silverfish and spiders. This company is ridiculous how can you nont answer your customers. In response to their response is I believe I only got contacted back after I left the negative review. Magically after I left the review I recieved 2 emails back to back.

Bait and Switch! 2 sales people came to my door offering me a great deal. $480 / Month and if I signed up along with a certain number of my neighbors I'd get a special deal, along with free tick treatment. I said it sounded great and to leave some info with me. The sales person said he'd given out his last business card so took my email address and phone number and promised to send the info by email. I didn't hear anything so for the last 3 weeks I've been trying to speak to somebody to buy their service! I gave up once after being on hold for 20 mins, the next time they told me I needed to be transferred to sales who would call me back and they didn't, the 3rd time somebody finally did call me back (but 2 days later than promised) . But.... he said he can't give me the offer because it was a different sales person. Maybe the offer expired while i've been waiting for them to get their house in order and close the sale, maybe there never really was an offer. My gut feel is that if it's so hard to get in touch to buy their service from them, it's probably going to be just as bad to schedule each quarterly service or when I need them to take care of an issue.

I'm giving them 2 stars because the Technicians do their best and have a professional appearance. HOWEVER, trying to cancel the contract (which expires on 3/24/2019) has been a nightmare as they told me I can't give them notice until 3/24. So they won't let you allow them early notice that you will not be renewing the contract? And if you do give them an early termination notice they place a $240 fee upon the contract? The billing of this service is unethical.

Called due to a mice issue in my attic. Technician came for our first treatment. He did not enter my attic. Just looked in the attic from the stairs using my own flashlight. Placed a few traps in my garage. Barely treated the exterior like I was told they would. I have cameras all over the inside and exterior of my home. Contacted the company 3 times with no response. Emailed with no response. Sent in a bad survey with no response. Always on hold for 10 minutes or more each time I tried calling. Left several voicemails. Do not use them. They won’t do the job that they promise to do.

Our technicians are always knowledgeable, answer questions and once they leave, you really don't see any pests lurking! ... if you stick to your quarterly appointment it really makes a difference! ... if you aren't satisfied they come out and redo (at no additional charge!) they always try to work around your schedule! Rob Nowicki was great, listened to our concerns and was in and out quieter than a mouse!

The initial sales personnel was very friendly and knowledgeable. The technician came to the home walked us through step by step which we were very appreciative. For the second treatment two workers shows up to do treatment. I explained I will reschedule when my husband is at home. They show up the next day and treat my grass and leaves a note. After I stated I will call back and reschedule treatment! My husband called because they had left a note stating it was already treated. I understand is a quarterly service and a contract but when your employee decides is ok to schedule a service and come to my property after I stated I will call and schedule when both owners are home is disrespectful. I called and they state well your husband called to schedule the bees. That's unacceptable he called for treatment of bees your staff already showed up to my house after I said no I will re schedule! Waiting for management to call. Not sure if they get paid by the job that gets completed!

Insight pest control is the worst company I have ever bought service from. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! The sales person came to my house in Farmington CT in May and sold me a service including Termite preventative treatment. My house is in an open neighborhood, I do not have any insect problem at my house - internal or external. The only reason I bought their service is for the termite preventative control because my other house in a more woody area had the issue and I know it is very costly to treat it after the fact. I explained my needs to the sales person who convinced me the ~$500 package I bought include preventative service to treat the termite. It was all promises and assurance at that time. A week later the technician came and did the internal treatment, and said he couldn't treat outside because my lawn guy was mowing the lawn; 2 weeks later another technician came to treat the external lawn. I asked him to explain to me how did they do the termite preventative control. He said: "oh, no it is not preventative, we just stick some wood chips in your ground and see if there is any bites in our next visit - it is not preventative and it does not treat termites." This is completely different than what was explained to me when I bought the service. The technician said "Do not worry, I will not do the treatment if this is not what was explained to you. Call my office and cancel your contract". He left without providing any service. I called the office right after and asked to cancel the contract. I told them only half the service was provided so I only agreed to pay half of the service - I should have paid nothing because it was a fraud contract. They sold me a service that is different than what they promised and described to me. The office agreed to cancel the contract. However from May to December, I have received numerous phone call from their billing department harassing me to pay for the full service even thought they only did half the treatment and sold me a fraud contract. Each time I asked to speak to their manager and the manager told me me they will investigate and get back to me if any questions. But next month I got the bill again with increased balance of interest charge. Just yesterday 6 months later (Dec14, 2018) My husband got a call from the company threatening if I do not pay the balance, they will double the bill. I do not know if this threatening is real or not, I want to have a worry-free Christmas, so I will pay $147 for the half treatment I have ever got from this company despite the fact that they sold me a fraud contract. This company is a bully, it bullies its customers and I do not have the time to go sue them for such a small amount. I do not care about the money, it was the principle. So I'm writing down my true story and alert other customers to stay away from this company.

I have been happy with Insight, Today when I called them, they tell me they have merged with Terminix and that they would be servicing my account. I signed my service agreement 10 days ago with Insight....Zero notice of this change. I am very disappointed. I will not be doing business with Terminix, I have tried them before with horrible results. Insight left me out to dry. I will find a local Mom & Pop to do business with!

I was automatically charged for more services bc. I failed to cancel the automatic phone call. HORRIBLE customer service. I just had a 2nd door to door guy show up at my house at 6pm on a Saturday night. I had told the first one my credentials, and to take us off their cold call/door to door list. FRUSTRATED CUSTOMER!! Signed up for four treatments but only did two because we moved. I called and cancelled and explained the move. They kept sending a tech to a “ vacant “ house. I called again and again and the only solution they gave” we must finish the 2 remaining treatments.I told them I had no pests in my new house and did not need chemical treatments. Poor all the way around. Signed up against my better judgment from a door to door sales guy (kid). Friday at 4pm came around and no one showed up. Got a call at 5:35 that the tech was running late however we were no longer home. Re-scheduled for Monday at 1pm. Got a call at 1:04 from the tech saying he was parked out front but I didn't answer the door and he may have had the wrong house. I said I would come to the door he said great...looked outside he was not there. Figured he would call back as he was obviously at the wrong house. 30 Minutes went by with nothing so I called the office and told them to forget it I would go elsewhere.

I would put zero points if I could .Their representative gave us false information making us believe that we will get tick treatmen. They didn't have permit to treat ticks .They told us to call in a month to get the tick treatment which we did but nobody showed up.We stayed on the phone for several hours. None of their representatives knew what was going on.We called 8 times since June 1st when they was supposed to come for the tick treatment . When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told there was no manager ,the manager was too busy ,the manager will call us back soon. Nobody ever called .The last time I called I was told the service was completed and we will get no refund for the tick treatment that was not done. Horrible experience. Wasted one Saturday and many more hours talking to unprofessional representatives.

I had Michael Lehman come over to my house 06/11/16 He was on time, Very knowledgeable and he really seemed to like his job. I was amazed at all he knew about bugs. He gave me tips and feedback on things to do around the house to keep bugs out. He explained everything he was about to do before he did it and did a great job. This had been the second time someone came by the house, the first time some other guy did a pretty lousy job, insight almost lost a customer, but Michael was great.

Insight came out and treated my house and got rid of all my pest problems but one. About four weeks after initial treatment I called Insight about the carpenter bees which were still there. Joshua M was the tech that came out the second time. He was polite and professional. Joshua treated for the carpenter bees which are now gone. There was no charge for the service. Insight did what they said they would do. I would recommend Insight to any home owner.

They are hidden fees and threatening for more money if we cancel. supervisors are very rude and unprofessional. not going to recommend any one. one of the service i had just cleaning web outside of my porch and they charged me $145 for the visit. no medicine put. i hired for silver fish issues and paid hundreds of dollars but still my issues exist. waste of money.

We have been with you for a year now and he was the first one to come out and do our first service and he was back again yesterday for our service. He is so nice to work with and very pleasant. Worst customer service EVER. I am a current customer and have been trying to reach someone for 2 days. No one returns your calls timely and when you call you wait on hold forever. The first day I hung up after 44 minutes. I was initially the 15th caller made it all the way to caller #2 and was then rerouted to being caller #11. Same thing happened the second day. I am now on hold again 9 minutes and counting!

The absolute worst experience ever from beginning till end! I was told twice I would get a call back from customer service for an appointment and both times nobody calls me back and then out of nowhere on a Thursday morning a technician shows up on my door step. I was leaving at that time and even with all the inconvenience I still scheduled an appointment for the following morning only because the technician named Paul was such a great guy. Honestly he deserves a much better place of employment. Because of him I was willing to let them sign me up for a years worth of service but the following day he shows up and has the contracts with him. NOTHING was what I was told over the phone by the sales rep. EVERYTHING was changed. From the prices being completely different and the amount of treatments we would get being cut in half. I then called customer service and after 42 minutes on the phone with poor Paul standing with me outside they tell me they apologize but my sales rep quoted me the wrong prices. Apparently he was off by 360 dollars and instead of 6 treatments I was only going to get 3 for the price he gave me. So I waited on hold 4 separate times and got the same answer from 4 different people that the price he gave me was wrong and in order to get my house serviced I had to pay the new pricing. Needless to say I canceled the entire service and wouldn’t recommend this place to my very worst enemy. If you want horrible customer service and want to get gauged this is the place to call! Except for Paul who is trying to just get by for his family there’s not a single person in this place who cares to make sure there customers are treated fairly. I am in sales and would fire anyone who treated a customers this way. Doesn’t help that they are located in Cheshire but you can’t ever reach someone in our state its people from down south answering calls and not caring. I’m amazed they are in business. They should honor the terms and prices I was given over the phone but instead it’s tough luck to the customer. Real smart business plan.

When owned by insight, great customer service. Now Terminix doesn’t call before arrival when an internal service request is put in, and they just spray the outside when they arrive during work hours. Why bother putting in service requests when they are just going to perform the same treatment that they did several weeks prior and charge hundreds of dollars? No call back from branch when you challenge the work done and the fee associated with the work. They deserve 0 stars.

Insight came back out to our house today for the second time because I was not happy with the first application. Bennie Taylor the representative was extremely nice and understanding. He thoroughly explained to me the process and products they used and walked through the entire house with me notating where there were still issues. He was extremely professional and courteous.
