Affordable, Professional and friendly

I have been using Guardian for over eight years. Everyone I have spoke with, office staff and service people, have been professional, courteous, and prompt. They have helped me with rodent issues, carpenter ant and bee issues, and hornet problems. Now we also used their tick and mosquito service. I have and still will recommend them to friends and neighbors.

This was our first summer in our new home, and we quickly realized we had an ant problem! We had carpenter ants and pavement ants in the house, and after several cans of Raid, we knew we had to call Guardian. Not only did the technician treat the entire inside of our home, but he also walked the exterior and sprayed. He identified the "hot spots" and was extremely thorough and helpful. Guardian also uses products that are safe for pets and kids - something that was important to us. We're enjoying our ant-free house - and will certainly be calling Guardian Pest Control for any other needs we have!

Guardian Pest Control has amazing service - the service people are always friendly and answer all questions that I have. They are responsive to my phone calls. The majority of the time, all of the pests are gone after the initial spray, but if I ever see any pests, I just call and they come out to make sure they are gone for good.

I've had an ongoing problem with Cicada Killer Wasps (last year, I had over 80 nests in my yard), and this year many of them came back. I decided to reach out to Guardian, and they've completely eliminated all of the wasps. The tech walked me through everything as he was working on my yard. The best part - they have a seasonal guarantee to eliminate the pests. So, if the problem persists, they come back at out at no extra charge, as many times as needed, until the problem is resolved.

Terrible company. Called in early 2018 to deal with mouse issues. Charged $350 to place 15 Victor traps with peanut butter (total cost of $20 on Amazon), spray the foundation with a "repellent" in the rain (which obviously washed away), and fill "all" of the holes where mice are getting in around the house. Two weeks later they came back as part of their $350 to remove any mice caught in traps and rest them. They caught 4 mice, replaced the traps, and said they would come back in 3 months for an additional charge to reset any traps. Just before three months, I checked the traps myself, saw no mice (peanut butter had lost scent and hardened), so I cancelled the follow up and set new traps myself. Mid-2018 I started seeing evidence of mice again. I called Guardian again and they wanted to charge ANOTHER $350 to do the same thing they did last time. This time I said no and checked my house for holes. There were many large holes around the house that I had to fill myself because Guardian did not do what they claimed they did (fill all the holes). Many of these holes were obvious and easy to find and fill. I then set my own traps and caught 20 mice within a month. Clearly Guardian doesn't know what they are doing and charges an obscene amount of money to accomplish very little. If they wanted to just charge me the follow up cost to reset traps rather than the initial cost to "re-do" what they previously failed to do, they would not be receiving a negative review right now. If the choice is to pay $350 for poor results or spend $20 and do it myself, I'll choose the latter every time.
