I've had issue with this company on and off. The company name may have changed from Guaranteed Floridian to Ehrlich in over a year, but the employees are still the same. Some are better than others, some care about their jobs and others are fly by night until they find something better. I've been doing business with this company for 15 years and different pest personnel have come to fumigate my house always different styles and methods to their techniques. They went from every two months service to every 3 months. From paying quarterly to monthly, but overall you'll have issues. As for their termite service. It's good, but just like any other company there's available spot treatments to combat issues before resorting to tenting the entire house. Prices are reasonable.

Bernard Ramirez is an excellent employee. He was the only one that was able to answer my questions, assist me with my problem and actually solved my problem. It was very difficult getting a manager to respond to my request but Bernard got involved and solved it. There is a lack of communication within the call center and the managers. I recommend having direct lines where you can reach a supervisor or manager directly to speed up the customer's concern. It took me almost a month calling the 1800 number until Bernard at the local branch solved it.

I’ve read the reviews and I am sorry others have had a bad experience. This does help me to know it’s just not me. My experience is a lack of any service despite signing a contract and scheduling appts. Finally when someone did show , it was too windy to be on a ladder then too late to deal with my bats in the attic. That was May. Now it’s the end is September. I’ve left 3 messages even with head office as well as emails. I got nothing. Do not use this company.

Unacceptable customer service. (Doesn't even deserve one star, but won't post otherwise.) Scheduled an appt for 7/2 for a technician to come and inspect an ant problem. Nobody showed that day; nobody called; nothing. Contacted Erlich at the end of that day only to be told that although our appt had been confirmed, it had not made it onto the technician's calendar. Appt rescheduled for today, between 8 - 10. At 10:15, 2:10, 4:00, and 5:15 today, I called because, again, nobody had shown. The only reply I could get out of anyone was the canned and scripted "I am very sorry for the inconvenience, I have left a msg with the local manager," blah, blah, blah. Finally on the last call, I was informed that we had been placed on tomorrow's calendar. Nobody contacted me to verify if anyone would be home. I asked--ok, demanded--to speak to a local manager. The local manager put me in touch with the technician, who by now was home, over 30 miles away. The technician told me that he didn't have us on his calendar for today at all! He is coming tomorrow afternoon, but we will be cancelling the service. After 15 years of 5-star with Guaranteed Floridan, ever since Erlich took over, customer service has been totally subpar and we will be cancelling.

I've been paying for services from this company and for over there years and the service has gone from bad to incredibly worse. I keep paying for pest control to get rid of roaches and the bugs are alive and well. I have been for two months to get someone to help me fix the problem and nothing happens. I call, talk to a representative a report is supposed to be generated, a manager is supposed to call me and nothing happens. When someone named Eddy finally called me last week, I told him that the technician had missed another appointment and he said he would get back to me by the end of the day. Here we are on Wednesday, Sept 25th, one whole week after that interaction and Eddy has not called me, no technician has gone to take care of the problem and no manager has gotten in touch with me. In short, I had three contracts with this company for two different properties. I am canceling all three contracts and going with someone else. The only person I talked to who seemed to care about the problem is in another state. I will never recommend Ehrlich Pest control to anyone and will make sure that everyone I know hears about my terrible experience and loss of money I incurred by hiring Ehrlich's Pest control.

Seeing as this was the first time I’ve required pest control services, I appreciated Cody explaining everything to me as he was setting traps, blocking entry points, etc. The mouse had only showed his face in my tenant’s unit once and made some noise in the wall a few times, but all before Corey set traps, etc. and I also purchased some electronic deterrents so it’s hard to say what sent the mouse packing, but more than anything I’m appreciate of the education I received on rodent behavior, trap placement, etc. and I’m happy I haven’t seen or heard any rodents again.

Horrible service and experience. Could not arrive on time would be 3 Hours late So reluctantly they ordered another technician to come. He arrived pretty promptly and and entered apartment and told us to leave becasue of the harmflul chemicals which we expected. I wen tdown to the laundry room to do some laundry and realzied I forgot the detergent. So I went right back up, couldn't be five minutes later and the tech was already closing the door and getting read to leave. When we returned to the apartment several hours later, little evidence of spraying where we asked him too, just a little bit in the kitchen. So I called Ehrilich to complain and asked to speak with a manger. The receptions said she woudl have someone call back. No one ever did. So I called to complain again, and once again was prmised a call back asap. No one called. Terrible technical service service. And very poor customer service. No stars. Defintely would not recommend. After the "spraying" the situation was just as bad if not worse. So called a well known and reputable service, Orkin, and they did a great job and came back when we asked and needed them. A bit more expensive but worth it. The fleas are now gone, no thanks to Ehrlich.! Don't make the same mistake I did. This site won't let me post review unless I give a Star rating. So I gave it one, but in reality, I give them none. Oh and then they have the nerve to send me a bill!

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. They didn’t leave our cabinets open after they “sprayed” for roaches. Half of the cabinets and drawers are wet and half don’t have any spray in them at all! We’re not supposed to be around this stuff until it dries and now I’m worried about the effect it may have on me and my dog! And I can’t put anything back because everything is freaking wet!! Also they moved our fridge and stove and scratched the hell out of our wood floors. They didn’t mention they would be doing this, or else I would’ve had the landlord move it for them. They didn’t even spray the bathrooms which are prime places for roaches. And they left piles of paper towels and trash all over our floor! And when I try to call and ask them about the effects of it still being wet—no answer! Call again and still no answer! I’m not stupid! Will never use again.

I called Ehrlich this morning concerning a wasp nest. I don’t mind the up-sell, but three visits for one nest seems excessive. In addition the person on the phone was telling me this was an unusual summer due to the “record rainfall”. I know know June was wet but July and August have been below normal for rain. If you are going to lie to me to up-sell you product, at least be halfway intelligent about it. At that point in time I just said I would get someone else and hung up.

Above killing "pests" (if I find, I rescue) it is your technician, Corey, I would like to commend. He is well-spoken, knowledgeable and curious, He communicates any difference in expected arrival, friendly, careful and thorough. Also, we had an odd issue with unidentified feces, apparently from and insect. Corey examined, called a superior, took samples and called us when he had heard from "above." This is a man you want to keep, but should be moved up the "ladder!"

It took over 2 weeks to reschedule a missed service. Technician, as usual, was very pleasant when he did show up - but spent less than 5 minutes in the house. Seemed to be a very rushed job and he did not check the ant traps left under the kitchen and bathroom sinks some time ago. He did ask if I had seen any pests around and maybe because I said "no", he did not feel it necessary to do more than he did? That is, just spray in corners of the various rooms.

I was expecting then layer in the day which I thought I'd have to wait and then their tech called and came or immediately . I was so grateful for this service. I dealt with this company in the past and was quite satisfied, so when my husband and I bought a home together, we decided to go with them. Since the time we employed their services, we have had nothing but problems with them, from scheduling problems, to the technician showing up unannounced. This latest issue where they requested information from us, and when I called to give it to them, I was told they could not take it, but would have to get someone to call me back. My time is valuable, especially since I have numerous medical appointments, on a monthly basis, and can't always be waiting by the phone just for their call. I refuse to play phone cat and mouse with a company, I have better things to do with my tme. I don't recommend this company for anyone who has a busy schedule, and wants consistency in their life.

Plesant and net agent came to house - we didn't hear the door bell and he went straight to the outside inspection and control. Circled back and tried the door bell again and we let him in. Covered the interior throughly - even in spots where is was difficult due to boxes to get around. Gave a detailed verbal report - discussed what we could do on next visit. Gave written report. Can't tell you how long he was here, but it wasn't a "slap-dash" and everytime I looked up he was coming from a different direction. That's why you keep our business.

Unfortunately, we are getting to the point that we may have to cancel, as their cost of service continues to climb. We are skeptical if the end of pricing hikes are in sight. Very disappointed in this aspect of the company; particularly, for long standing customers. There should be some kind of “lock-in” rate or incentive to keep loyal customers with Ehrlich. I’ve called in the past & spoken with a supervisor who stated there was nothing they could do to help. If you’re in need of pest control service, I’d recommend shopping around & doing your research.

I gave an overall rating off 8, however, it depends on the service tech. One in particular was outstanding and would rate higher than a 10 if that were possible. I walked around the house with him and he explained everything as we went. Another has been consistently good, and another has been ok - no complaints about any of them. FYI... A Terminex rep came around the neighborhood and said for the same price they do the same inspection and clean all the cobwebs from the building. Not a big deal but a nice touch. Your guys do a good job.

The rep came out and found a hornets nest up in my tree about the size of a football. He said they were bald faced hornets that not only sting but bite too, not good. He treated the nest, came back a week later and removed it. I haven't seen any more hornets since. I was very pleased with the promptness, thorough and expertise work Ehrlich did. We have had nothing but problems since we came in contact with Erlich Pest control. They bought out Guarantee Floridian who was our service provider for years. Once they sold to them things went down hill quickly with Service. First off they are a huge company so you will be routed too a call center. Employees have little or no incentive to help customers so all of my calls went unanswered. I called four times in a three-month period to ask why my service had stopped. No on knew why and never received calls back. Durring their contracted service I developed termites. They still never called back. After getting angry with staff over the phone they sent some guy that was in a uniform from another pest control company and he was talking trash about Erlich and how they were a Sh-tty company. He then proceeded to tell me that they no longer tent homes with flat roofs and he didn't know how to reinstate my service. This is not the type of company you want taking care of your home. They actually are a liability. I'm only dealing with small companies now that are responsible and have accountability. Screw you Erlich!

I wish I could literally put a 0 for this. I trusted the high ratings from others to use this company. I scheduled my first visit and waited during the time allotted. I was called 5 min prior to end of my scheduled time to be notified that he wasn’t going to make it and when can he come back. I told him that I would call back to schedule because I work and so does my husband. He continually called me and texted me hounding me for another date to come. I had to block this number and call the company to have it reschedule. Meanwhile he came to my house unannounced while my husband was sleeping. (Works night shift) I spoke to supervisors about this matter and was told he would not be assigned again. I called again to schedule another visit and was told between 8-11 today. Again, no show. Not even a phone call this time. I call the office and was told he had some things come up and he was in Georgia and he can make it there by 1pm. This is completely unprofessional and I give up. I called orkin and had better customer service within a 5 minute phone call.

Three weeks ago a specialist was scheduled to come to my house to remove a white faced hornets nest that was massive in a shednoutsode of my house. Not only did the specialist never show up but I was never notified that he did not come. When I called to verify that the service was complete I was told it had been, only to find out a week later when the hornets were still alive and active that the specialist never showed up. I called back to complain and was told by a rep that it was their mistake and that a specialist actually did not show up. I had to speak with multiple people to get this rectified. If I had knocked down the nest like I was instructed to, I could have ended up in the hospital. Luckily a specialist was sent out immediately the next day to take care of the nest but they still charged a hefty price. It wasy slightly discounted but definitely not enough for what we went through. We went through with service because we were desperate. I do not recommend this company. They also do not send you a service confirmation unless you call heir customer service dept and ask. His should be an automatic confirmation!!

Hired them for an emergency service to get rid of hornets in the work area at a residence. Construction work had to be shut down because of the problem. They claimed they could get rid of them immediately. They sprayed some poison and it didn't do anything. After they left the hornets would land on the sprayed areas and it didn't bother them. Called the tech back out and this time he claimed he couldn't do anything about the hornets. Same tech - Brian Boone. Charged me $365. And apparently they are using techs which are not licensed by the state. Talked to a few persons on the phone at this company, but no one with any decision making ability will get back to me. Horrible experience all around. Fraudulent business practices.

The information given at the free inspection bore no relationship to what the technician did when he later got to my home. The "traps" that we were told would provide multiple times the strength as the ones we could buy on the open market were useless. In fact, their traps caught ZERO insects. The trap that we bought at out local hardware store caught many. I called Ehrlich and spoke to a manager, who said he would follow up. There has been no follow up other than an email requesting that I post this rating. To add insult to injury, they sent me a bill!

When my Tech Rob L had asked me to write a review and make sure to mention his name earlier in the week i was not going to because we have had some scheduling problems that week. The more i thought about it the more i realized the problems were only that week and on occasion but normally fixed right away and when my tech is out on vacation. When he is there service is always within the window i have and he does a very well job. The techs that i get when hes on vacation don't even carry foam guns and tell us to do the exclusion that Rob normally does. If the other techs did the same level job as Rob and the People that make appointments made few less mistakes i would give them 5 stars. I am very happy with the service i have been getting.

My garage door broke and I had someone repair it. When doing so, he said we had termites in the ceiling. Panicked I researched who to call in Stamford CT. I found reviews on Bliss (which is now owned by Ehrlich) and A-Aavon. I called Ehrlich and they sent someone out the next day for a free estimate. Immediately he saw there was no problem and relieved my fears. A-Aavon could come out in 3 days but charged $175 for the estimate. It's too often that we, as consumers, write reviews when things go wrong. I just wanted to say that Ehrlich was professional, speedy and honest.

They used to be good but over the past year and a half they changed. The last time they came out and check my house was over a year ago (2016). In 2016 they used to come quarterly. Sometime in 2017 they changed that inspection to yearly without any notification to me or reduction in payments. I had continued my payments for the entire year without any inspection. I had emailed them with the notification that I didn't think it was in my best interest to keep the service. Weeks later they notified me that they were coming out for their yearly inspection. I did not reply to confirm. They showed up anyway. I was home. Not sure what the change was but, it's not the same company I had signed up with Year's ago. For that reason, I would not recommend them.

They also left our backyard gate open, which we also didn’t know they had opened and our dog got out when we let her out into the yard. No call, no show. Wife stayed home for our 1-5 window. I called at 4pm to make sure they were still coming, was told yes. Called again at 6:30pm to let them know that the technician did not call or show up. They apologized and said they would tell a manager. Anyway, potential new customer lost. Avoid Erlich in the Cincinnati area, there are plenty of other companies out there that will care enough to call if there is a problem or actually show up like they have been hired to do. Oh, and when you call and setup service they will ask for a credit card. The company seems untrustworthy, avoid giving them that info as I did so there is no obligation or charge in the case they dont show up.

Not happy with the overall service and communication about when they were coming. Didn't get rid of my pest problem and I had to take care of it myself. Paid good money for nothing.....Then shelled out more money to buy the stuff to treat everything myself. These guys are the real deal! I just met with Keith from Ehrlich Pest Control and he took him time and spent over 1.5 hrs going over ever inch of the property and came up with an excellent plan. he was knowledgeable and detailed. their pricing seems very fair. After purchasing a duplex rental property on a wooded 1/2 acre lot, we started noticing significant signs of mice and even some chewed electrical wires. Orkin was a joke and didn't even walk around the perimeter of the property, laid a few glue traps in the basement and said they would be back in 2 months to check! (you're fired!). When I called and spoke to 4 different people and got 4 different answers they finally said they don't even do the service in my area. We chose Ehrlich Pest control to service our needs for bug control this summer. We were seeing a lot of ants in and outside our house. They came when they said they would and we discussed our concerns. Demetrius examined our property and set about a course of action spraying were he saw the concentration of ants. We chose the service policy that secures that no matter how many times we need service Ehrlich will come out with no further charges. We also had them spray our property for mosquitoes and ticks. We have a dog so we had concerns about what they were spraying. We were assured that the chemicals were pet safe once dried. Demetrius always calls when he is coming and also follows up with email to make sure we know what treatment was performed and to make sure we are satisfied with the treatment. Garbage service. Got charged a month after I canceled and was told that their refunds take multiple weeks to get back to you. Any other place it takes a couple of business days. Not sure how a place can take your money when they weren't supposed to and then take weeks to give it back. Never again. I contacted Eradico because we moved into a new house that we just built and moved into on Labor Day 2016. I price shopped and found them to be very competitive. I had heard their name before so I gave them a shot. I agreed to do the annual plan where they come out each quarter. Nobody showed up for my initial visit so I called them (don't ever expect for somebody to answer...you will always end up leaving a message and hoping they call you back). They did return my call and rescheduled. The tech who showed up was a quirky fella but he was friendly and answered all of my questions. I gave him a check and figured we'd be all set for them to return 3 months later. About a month after the visit we were still having some pest issues so I called and they agreed to come back out at no charge. When the same tech returned I informed him that my initial check had never been cashed. He told me "they sometimes forget to unattach the checks from the paperwork" but that he would let them know to take a look. After 2 more weeks of it not being cashed I finally called and they said that was indeed what happened. Needless to say, the issues continues. I was never contacted about their quarterly visit. It's been 6 months and once again I had to call and leave messages at 2 separate districts trying to get in contact with somebody. I ended up talking to Corporate in Pennsylvania I believe, to which I was informed they had no account for my name or address. After talking to them for over 30 minutes the woman finally found a run number for my address and said for some reason I wasn't set up properly and that they needed to rebuild me in the system. I waited on hold for about 5 minutes and was disconnected. I called another company and they are coming out this Saturday. They're a little more expensive but at least when I call them somebody picks up the phone. I can't imagine the experience could be any worse than what I've experienced with Eradico. Avoid at all costs.

Mike from Ehrlich came out to the house twice to help with some massive hornets and then some yellow jackets the following year. After that, we signed up for the quarterly visits. We haven't had a single pest issue since. The house and yard have been totally bug free. Mike is always on time, gives us an accurate window of when he will arrive, and is always extremely courteous and helpful. Great company, great people, and great prices!

I found Ehrlich through Google. My husband and I noticed large carpenter ants a few months back in our cupboards and on random places on our walls. We noticed there were tons of them in corners of our newly purchased home and had enough. We had sprayed stuff you could buy at Wal-Mart but nothing seemed to be working. We decided to invest in the pro stuff so we could have peace of mind. When I called Ehrlichs, I spoke with Elvis, who was very kind and asked me all sorts of questions regarding the ant problem itself. He was very thorough and explained how they can come back out and re-spray if we pay each month. I decided we just wanted them to come spray one time as that was all we could afford. He explained it would be about $226 for the one time. I said that was fine, I just needed it done. at this time, while we were going to schedule the appointment, I was rushed off the phone by my work. I stated I would call back and schedule after I talked to my husband. I was pleased with Elvis (that was about the only thing I was pleased with). The next day, I called back to schedule to have them come out. I couldn't get a hold of Elvis, but did leave a message with him to call me back but explained I would probably contact another employee so I could get the appointment scheduled. I spoke with THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE none of whom had any record of a conversation being had, and then the FOURTH person I spoke with finally found me. That person then badmouthed Elvis to me (I was offended by this!) and re-explained everything Elvis did, and then he said well we have to get you back with Elvis so we can get you scheduled. I finally was transferred back and Elvis did a confirmation of the scheduling. I requested them to call me when they were on their way, and Elvis said absolutely, they would. Well, the next day comes and there was no phone call before Ehrlich pulls in. The gentleman, Dale, was kind to me, but didn’t ask much about what I was seeing or what we could do to prevent them. He sprayed and did his job and left after I signed. TWO WEEKS LATER Ehrlich still hadn’t pulled from my acct. I called them to see when they would be pulling so it wouldn’t bounce and no one had any invoice on record and the woman I spoke with said she didn’t know how long it would take and she apologized profusely about all the trouble I had. We are now on the third week, and Ehrlich finally pulled their $260 and I killed an ant yesterday in my home. All in all, I am extremely disappointed with the company and I will badmouth them to anyone who asks. Although I had good experiences with certain customer service reps, I was so put off by how disorganized and confused the employees were. I would not recommend them to anybody.

At this point, I would give zero stars if I could. We have gotten the run around every day for a week. My wife and I every day for the past week have been calling the "local" phone number which is apparently not the direct line to the local district office that is supposed to do the work. We keep calling and they keep telling us that they need to call the district office where the work will be done. Then after being put on hold, they then tell us no one is answering and that they will get back to us right away. But nothing has happened in a week. In the mean time we have a family of birds squawking, banging on the vent pipes, making all kinds of noise all day long. We can’t sleep as the vent is right next to our bedroom. This is driving us crazy. The lack of response is totally unacceptable.

EHRLICH PEST CONTROL DID A FANTASTIC JOB OF KEEPING MY HOME PEST FREE. THEY WERE ALWAYS AVAILABLE IF I NEEDED INTERIM TREATMENTS AND DID EVERYTHING TO SATISFY MY NEED. THE REPRESENTATIVES THAT ACTUALLY DID THE WORK WERE HARD WORKING AND VERY GOOD PEOPLE WITH GREAT PERSONALITIES. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANY HOME OWNER. I ONLY CANCELLED MY CONTRACT DUE TO MY MOVING TO AN APARTMENT.

I have been managing income based housing for 13+ years and have worked with Ehrlich at both Management companies I have worked for. They are responsive, courteous and personable. We are currently using and have been using an exceptional preventative bed bug program and if you know anything about bed bugs they don't care if you are clean, dirty, rich or poor...you can get 'em! Ehrlich is diligent in making sure that my resident are pest free. They also gladly answer any questions myself, my staff and residents may have. Yea Ehrlich may be a little more price wise but their the only one's who can get the job done properly!!! one of the worse customer service I have had in a while. The company has not follow through with its contract... hundreds of dollars wasted and still no service. They don't have a direct line to call. It has taken days to weeks to get a hold a person. The termite issue has been reported and they have come out and confirmed but 3 months later we are still situation. And trying to get a hold of anyone to get some action behind this issue has been a huge mission. As of right now our church is being eaten by termites still...

We have had Ehrlich as our pest control company for 27 years. Just days after our last treatment, we found a small snake in our basement. We called Ehrlich. They "don't do snakes"!!!! What a shock! It has 2 weeks since I was told that they would be here "on Monday". Still have not received a call from them, but when I called back a couple of times I was told that they DO have something called "snake away" but the cost for it would be in addition to their $546. annual charge for service. What a disappointment! We thought the local should have at least contacted a regular customer about this problem. They are not concerned at all with our pest problem this time.
