Great service! They did a professional job taking care of our termites without a hard sell for fumigation which our level of dry wood termites did not require. We also had them take care of some areas of dry rot. The wood repair crew, Daniel M. and Doug A., did a wonderful job. The quality of their work was outstanding!

My wife and I have been using the bugman services for more than 12 years and we are continuing customers. Great value in using the Annual Service Agreement to maintain the properties from termite and bugs. Recently our two - 4plex units In Costa Mesa required termite attention. Our ownership of 42 years gave us no excuse for delaying recognition of the extent of the termite infestation. The supervisor took time and effort to ruthlessly probe all areas of both units …. to tent or treat and repair?. We chose treat and repair Great Job! To tent and fumigate would have interrupted the tenants use of their units. Eddie Hernandez ran the projects. We received the final detailed reports in full. I decided to do some of the small repairs at ground level. The annual inspections in the future will make sure the properties are maintaining their value (when we might need that value) .

My son arranged for the bug man to send a termite/pest inspector to my home. He did extremely fine inspections, made notes, took pictures and made chalk markings with the date of inspection. He clearly explained different options for control. He helped us arrange appointments for treatment. At a later date, two men came to treat the termites, then we made another appointment for pest treatment. A different man came to treat the pests. The men were all very professional, polite, knowledgeable, and detailed with their applications. My son and I were highly pleased with the service we got from the bug man company. We arranged for them to return periodically so they can monitor and control any new activity that might begin to take place. I highly recommend the bug man for other customers!!!

The service man was on time and did a complete treatment. Before using The Bugman we battled ants and spiders but since using them they are gone. My previous service whose name starts with “T” cancelled appointments or did not show. Then told me I needed to tent my house while Bugman successfully handled the problem with local treatment. Very pleased with Bugman.

Professional and reasonable. I use for annual termite inspection and then had them do some repair after I’d owned my home 19 years. (At the beach we get termite swarms and dry rot...). I was extremely happy with the wood repair and replacement. Then I saw a roach last month and called for a free pest inspection. They came by and said they saw no signs of infestation and it was probably an errant roach that travelled in with groceries... When was the last time a company told you the truth like that. Inspection was free.

The Bugman just started to provide service in San Diego County about a year ago. Their rep, Paul Figueroa, is top-notch. I highly recommend him in particular for anything in San Diego. He is thorough and his attention to detail is excellent.

I can’t express how much I disrespect this company. In prep for selling my house, my painter said I had termites. So I scheduled the Bugman to come out and do an inspection. They said I was lucky because I didn’t need fumigation but I did do service and wood repairs totaling $4300 at their recommendation. I asked them to split the work into two days because I needed the visible work repaired on Wednesday, the day before my broker preview and the rest the next week. I paid them to complete all the work which they did, although I called The salesman back because there were two areas he didn't indicate needed work, which visually I thought might. He said they would fix one but the other was fine. On the buyer’s inspection, however, that second location came up as needing repair, which I gladly did. I don’t want to stick the new owner. I was trying to be proactive and fix things before I sold. So I sell my house. Bugman won’t give a termite clearance: to be fair, their report says it’s not an escrow report. I told them I was selling my house-why wouldn't they think or do an escrow report. Regardless, I was willing to pay the $125 for another inspection. Their quote came in at an additional $6,600. They had items in this report that they theoretically fixed on the first set of repairs. Are you kidding me? First they told my realtor I didn’t do all the recommended repairs. Then they discovered that I had. They said I didn’t tell them it was for escrow. I spoke to at least five people working on scheduling the repairs and each time I said I needed it done for the broker preview. When I called to schedule in the first place, I told them I was doing work on the house to prepare to list it for sale. It told the rep on the visit. Their story kept changing. I am fine that I ended up with $3900 in repairs (a second bid.). I am not fine with Bugman trying to charge 69% more and not giving me credit for the work done before that was obviously done bad, and the entire fiasco, an seemingly cover-up. I do not trust this company. There is not an ounce of credibility and certainly no integrity in their actions as it related to my experience. I see good reviews. Just be careful is all I can say. I will refrain from telling you how I really feel as it’s not ready for prime time.

Your service has always been great. Only item I would mention is that in oral report to me, inspecto0r indicated there was cardboard under the house. The impression I was given was it was a significant amount of cardboard. I hired someone to clean it up--ONE piece of cardboard.

I called for an appointment mid last week and THE BUGMAN was able to accommodate our request for that weekend. The dispatcher was kind and professional on the phone, she got us all set up. Then Juan came to our home Saturday and took care of our ants and spiders. We were very impressed with him. Not only did he have a friendly and respectful demeanor, he was prompt (called before coming to let us know he was running early) and knowledgeable. He removed cobwebs and sprayed and was done! Pests are dead and gone. Thank you! We are signed up for quarterly service. :)

Well this was a total scam job..waited a week for someone to come out..supossed to call 30 minutes before he will be here..that didn't happen and when I got here he was parked in front of my garage door and not in the car...doesn't know what these little things are says he has to bring them to the office and tries to sell me a plan..all we needed was a one time spray for silverfish and these little things...could have told me a week ago minimum charge was 225....bad way to do business.
