I called four times to schedule a free inspection for my home, but nobody showed up. Everytime I called, I had been told that, someone was going to contact me that afternoon or the next day, which was not the case at all. It's all marketing, the reality is probably different! I had to choose service from another company at last - they just showed up within 2 hours after my online request.

I was very disturbed to see 2 terminix employees take out a Canadian Goose nest and destroy the eggs and nest while unloading my truck at receivers. Both the mother and father geese searched for about an hour to find their nest of eggs. I almost felt they were crying while walking around making a lot of noise. When they first came to remove the problem, we thought they were going to remove birds and move them to a different location. Terminix did not handle the problem correctly. people had to walk back and forth across the area and the geese were not happy causing them to be on attack mode makeing it dangerous for all ,their (terminix) answer was they will eventually fly away

If I could give a negative start I would. I just sign up for service on the 29th and I called yesterday to cancel service because I am not satisfied. I spoke to an associate who said that I will be getting my moneyback, but a branch manager have to call me and do the actual cancellation. Today I received aa voicemai from Steven stated that he will not return my money and he was going to send a technician to my house. First of all, I do not want your tech at my house anymore all I need is my money because I am not satisfied. I still have the same issue and currently have an appointment with another company to come over to do the job. I don't understand why advertise that you will give money back and refuse to do so when asked.

We had a completely unfortunate experience, that could’ve been avoided. Our humble abode was built in 1935 and we signed a contract with Terminix for a year, it was $900 down and a monthly fee $100ish the contract was for both subterranean termites and dry wood termites. I had seen mounds of black stuff above the window frame and they came out, I was told not to worry and they sprayed and left. Months later, I had the same black stuff on my closet floor, I was then told my old house was “settling” my feeling’s were unsettling at this point and once again, they sprayed. Another few months, I saw a termite, we call Terminix and we’re told, your contract is up and it’s going to cost you. They figure the price by “air space” I spoke with the manager and he gave us $900 off of the price. We still had to pay $2k and 2 nights at a hotel 2 nights to board our dog, replaced the landscaping in the front of our house. My anger and frustration is because the issue occurred when we were under contract and we were lied to with the “settling” remark and as soon as the contract expired and how convenient no follow up calls for renewal...I wonder why? Because we had termites!! They’re the only company not calling to renew.

We have met with about 7-8 technicians, and they have all been really good- knowledgeable, respectful, and always helpful in tailoring the services to each unique need. A BIG shout out to some exceptional folks at the local terminix- Robert and Tim and also Bob McGowan. They have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of our home. They have also educated us about the naturally present wildlife and its behavior, and they have been very reliable and responsive to communication. There is a disconnect between online/phone scheduling and the local service office which has often pushed me on the verge of ending our contract with Terminix, but the excellent service by their technicians restores my faith in the company every time. We are very happy customers of three years. I hope they can bring mosquito treatment soon.

I am an existing customer of Termininx. In addition to my scheduled monthly services, I had an appointment for an inspection of my chimneys, in which been invaded by something. I had a noon-4 pm window, so I stayed home from work that afternoon. they never showed or called. When I called at 5 pm, they told me someone had failed to get the service request to the technician, so we rescheduled for 2 weeks later from 8-10 am. no one showed, no one called. I've called 3 times today to find out what's going on, each time getting their national service center, who keep blowing me off, saying they'll reach the local manager and technician. Of course, no luck there. I can't speak for other locations, but the ones in Windsor CT are idiots. Edit: National finally gave me the branch manager's name and number. I called, got his VM, and was unable to leave a message because his mailbox is full. I'm sure it's from lots of happy customers leaving grateful messages.

Unbelievable. Called Thursday for BEE problem, they scheduled following Monday (4 days later) between 10am-12pm. They called Saturday to confirm. Monday waited until 12pm NO CALL NO SHOW. Called and was put on hold for over 30min. The guy finally called and said it would take him another hour to arrive, making him an hour and a half late. Needless to say, if THIS is how they start with a simple first service call for an estimate, I can only forsee undependable service after if we ever decided to utilize their services. I called about a week ago requesting to pay for wood destroying insect test/report for the sale of a home. Was asked when would be a good time to come out...I said Fri anytime... they call Friday and ask if they can come out Tuesday morning.. I said sure... they call Tuesday and ask what time.. I said anytime.. they didn't show in the morning so wife calls guy and he says he will be there after next appointment... guy never shows.. we call the next day and they apologize and say they will be out Thursday 11-1... but yet... another no call no show Their management should be embarrassed by the customer service they provide... if you can't trust them to show up... why would you trust them to protect your home from pest

Dave was absolutely fantastic when he came to do my initial work.He has very good communication skills and talked me through everything, answered my questions thoroughly, and didn't mind at all that I followed him around and showed and explained everything he was doing. He was very, very great. No show on scheduled inspection. Booked an inspection with a confirmed time of 1p-3p, and stayed home from work to deal with it. By 3pm, no-one had showed, so I called Customer Support, and was told the person was running late and that I was next on the list. By 5p, still no-one had showed. I wasted a half-day with this incompetence. I did not receive a call / email from Terminix to say they would not show. They just didn't show.

Awful customer service. Have scheduled 3 different appointments to get our services started with Terminix. They have not showed up to 2 different scheduled appointments. By the third appointment the technician showed, but would only treat the exterior of the house and refused to treat the interior. Technician states “treating the interior does not help get rid of spiders.” I think it’s time to try scheduling with another company.

I tried scheduling a termite inspection for a new home that I'm purchasing three different times, each time there was an issue with the technician. The first time the tech never called me back, the second time he called the night before trying to schedule a different time, and the third time he never showed up at all. The customer service was good, the helpful lady called the tech and left him a message, and even called both of the managers at this facility. I was told I would get a call back and I did not. I would stress for anyone who values there time to go with a different company. I cant even imagine how hard it would be to work with this company if they did find a problem during the inspection.

I have a beetle problem. An in home terminix salesman told me to buy termite treatment (when I didn't have termites) and some other spray to kill the beetle. He then didn't show up for confirming bug was dead months later. The bug is still active. I had to call for over a month to get a reply for someone to visit. Terminix didn't show or call to cancel at scheduled time. Came next day, said my house needs tenting, which costs about $10,000. Someone else was supposed to come at 4pm today to confirm my house needs tenting and it's almost 5pm and he's not here either. I dont feel comfortable having this unprofessional operation tent my house, and when I called for a refund Terminix said the July appointment never existed, no appointments were missed, and a full refund is not going to happen. Scam artists. I'm out over $1700 & I still have the same bug destroying my house!

The people at terminex are really nice but I've had problems. When we attempted to tent back in April it was cancelled due to windy weather. But I had given them the key to my house. It took me several days to get my key back. I found myself at their office banging on their door in the rain just to get my key back. This week we finally got the house tented. They told us that we could return around 5-6 pm the next day. I came back 6 pm the next day because I have to work early the next morning and I need my equipment for work. I left it in the house thinking I will return around 5 pm and have ample time. However, the door was still bolted and the sign DO NOT ENTER was still posted. I expect businesses to keep their word. If you tell a client they can return after 5 pm the next day they should be able to do that. No hassle! Now I have to change my work schedule at the last minute! My boss won't be too happy about that and neither am I!

Terminix needs to be sure their drivers have a valid drivers license. I know roundabouts can be difficult, but never does the right lane turn left at a 4-way roundabout! I have had an issue with this driver twice now in the past month coming off of 69 onto 106 st > Crosspoint Blvd and again going down 106th > Crosspoint Blvd at roughly 7:30 both mornings during the weekdays. Just to add, we have used Terminix in the past, very overpriced and lied to us about termite damage. Will not use ever again.

Modern technology is amazing to us older people, I actually knew where the technician was as soon as he left the office to respond to my address. Although the annual warranty price for drywood termites and subterranean termites is OUTRAGEOUSLY HIGH, the service technician who performed my annual drywood termite inspection was very thorough, polite and knowledgeable and offered advice for landscaping changes to implement that would further deter unwanted pests (ants, rodents & termites from gaining access to my home. Consequently, he alone caused me to rate Terminix greater than a 2, which I would have otherwise used as my rating.

Called back days later to try again and same thing. Couldn’t get anyone to transfer me to my branch without having to go over the whole speil of why I was calling, completely wasting my time! This company is very dishonest. When one of the room in our vacation rental house got bed bugs, we found Terminix in Lakeland. We was told chemical is the only way to kill 100% bed bugs and for each treatment, we had to wait 10-12 days, the first treatment was failed and we still had bed bugs, 10 days after second treatment, the technician did not show up as schedule for inspection. I was told to reschedule and it might take several weeks to kill all of bed bugs. So far, we already lost $4000 reservation of this house, and we found alive bed bugs are still in the house. We could not afford to lose more house booking and had to find another company to do high heat treatment. It only took them one day to kill all bed bugs. We paid terminix $2800 and lost $5000 booking and still did not get rid of bed bugs. we had to pay another company to do the job. I will never ever used terminix again.

Had TERMINIX in the past...so I decided to use them again. I've only had one service so time will tell if I see a difference. I only gave a 3 this time around because scheduling an appointment was not good for me, I needed it to be after the 10th of the month due to finances, and the rep said " our computers don't go out that far" . That needs to be changed so that consumers don't feel Pressured into a date that doesn't work for them...then my FIRST TECH I felt was in a rush. Not offering services. But again...time will tell . Update: They REFUSED to change my bill even a few more days out. I'm on a fixed income and only get paid on the 3rd! Ughhhhh

If I could put negative stars, I would. Paid for work to be done well over a month ago, several times technicians have come out and told me they don't do that kind of work. Eventually one person came out and did about one fifteenth of the work and then left without saying anything to us. They broke the entire bottom side of our porch out instead of coming through the front door to get to the back of the house.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Took a half day off work to schedule the service. They called me at 5 to tell me they had to reschedule. I was then guaranteed I would be the first call for 8:30 AM today, Saturday. Come 930 I called and they told me they would be there by 10 and they decided to hit another house before mine. Come 11 they are still not here and are telling me that now it might be between 2-4. Customer service told me there were no managers to speak with me. The tech just called me and said that is not true. I am paying a lot of money for a service that is less than average. Wish I called a more reputable company. Apparently the customers time is not important.

The span of a year: We have 2 properties. One was tented for termites. The termite tenters bent the exhaust on the roof. Then the all clear was given to re-enter, guess I'm sensitive to chemical, nose ran & eyes water for 10-12 days the whole time all windows open & fan. Ok, now they call for an inspection, they give a time & date for the wrong property & they do it again on the other property.... their full inspection included 1 minute walk around & not opening one bait station on either properly( corporate said this includes inspecting the craw space). Next, we reschedule and the inspection was never done as promised. Lastly, the billing... wrong name on the bill, wrong bill address, seem like no pay off incentive was applied. Hummm, now they send renew letters.....ummm, NO! !! I today, i still dont know if the termites are dead? Gee wiz, wish the inspector sent me a letter or phone call to notify that the inspection was done???????. UPDATE: I REFEREED TO THE BAIT STATION EARLIER.... BUG GUY CHECKED ITS JUST FRICKEN PIECES OF UNTREATED WOOD!!! WHAT LIARS!!!!

A bit of false advertising when they say if you are not 100% satisfied then you get your money back. I tried the pest control for the outside and I ended up just going to home depot and spending $25 to take care of it myself. So I cancelled the service and told them I wasn't satisfied and they had excuses and loopholes (that I was not aware of ) as to why I couldn't get my money back. My advice is to go to lowes or home depot and take care of it yourself don't waste your money.

3 words.... customer service sucks!!!!! Waited 4 months for a refund that got passed from person to person; even speaking to the regional manager did nothing. They just kept passing the buck, and never returned phone calls or emails. I had to file a complaint with the better business bureau for them to finally respond and get my money back. If you need something taken care of in a timely fashion consider filing with the BBB its so easy and gets you a whole lot farther than managers and customers service!

Had a terrible experience with the company. The guy who came and sprayed my house was there for a total of 30 min and my house is 2560 sq ft. I still see ants, spiders, and rolly pollies. I have a 1 year old and I told them my concern with him interacting with insects. To make it worse, i called to rectify the issue and was on hold for over an hour 3 separate times. do not deal with them. Save your money go to orkin or someone else. better yet do it yourself.

It's a shame I can't give them zero stars. The technician that originally sold us on signing with Terminix was very polite, knowledgeable, and guaranteed that all pests around the house would be taken care of. It was signed in our contract that the work would be done. Don't let words in writing fool you with this company because they just want you to sign your name on that contract. Once the contract is signed, don't expect much from this company besides frustration. We we're promised multiple treatments (carpenter bees, termites, outside and inside preventive treatment) in the first visit, but what we got was the outside foundation spray and bait box which we didn't ask for (but that's fine). The technician wrote "Excluded" on all the things we signed the contract for! We called customer support multiple times to try to reschedule, but twice the technicians were a no show. We call customer support only to find that whoever is managing the schedules is constantly rescheduling the technicans WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE CUSTOMER! I can't stress this enough. How can you reschedule your technicians and NOT NOTIFY THE CUSTOMER!? I try to reschedule, but I'll never know when they're going to show up if the schedule keeps changing and I'm not notified. I stayed home multiple times from work expecting a technician to provide indoor treatment and no one shows up. Only to find that the appointment was rescheduled. Horrible. Horrible. A message to Terminix, fix this asap. You need to organize yourselves. Get one source of communication between your office, your technicians, and most importantly your customers. This day and age with all the forms of communication available, this cannot and should not happen. One star until you get your sh** together.

We had our home sprayed for fleas and 48 hours later it's as if they were never here. I set out a flea trap to monitor the fleas and within 45 minutes there are 20-30 fleas. Their product doesn't work. We were also given a "confirmed time" of 8 -10 am only to be called later asking to confirm our 2-4 pm confirmed time. I dont recommend them

8/28/19 Not happy. Had them come out several times in between quarterly treatments with little results. They incorrectly charged me for one of the extended treatments. I called to correct the situation, where they said they would send it to the billing department. Two days later, no confirmation or call. I call back to be told they are ‘sending it to billing department’. I stated that has already been done. Ask for billing department -no number, ask for manager- no number. They will escalate the situation. Livid. 8/23/19 I emailed as requested in the response below no response. No response from my phone calls either. I called customer service for a third time. This individual placed me on hold and reviewed my account with a manager due to my several calls and lack of response from our local branch (Windsor). Credit is being processed. Thank you to the woman who took the logical step necessary to have this taken care of. I will not recommend Terminex. Stick with your local companies. 9/24/19 Credit received. It took me 4 separate discussions with 4 different people to cancel services. To be honest, I still do not know if they are really cancelled this time. In the past week, I have received 3 different calls from the company, one of them being the branch manager. He didn’t know why he was calling me, said he was notified he needed to. I finally remembered it was about my initial call from August. Unbelievably bad service. Where were these calls when I had questions a month ago??

Soo horrible experience. I called had someone come out for possible bedbugs. We just moved into a home it was/is a fixer upper and I started getting bites, I immediately thought bedbugs. So they send someone out and he checked one corner of the mattess and said not bedbugs.......I said ok. Thought that was weird because he didn’t check out headboard or bed frame which is fabric. Not in the crevice of the carpets or anything. Said gnats were biting me and charged me 250.00 to spray for gnats, spiders, centipedes, etc what’s considered their normal spray. I call back a few weeks later because we still have gnats and spiders and their corporate office that handles customer services informs me they do not spray for gnats but she will send their bedbug specialist out right away. I I called the manager at the Indianapolis branch to ask why I’ve paid for pest control they don’t offer still haven’t heard back. Anyway I said ok so they send him out same thing looked at one corner of the bed glanced at the headboard then looked in the basement and said no bedbugs and then finds a random bug tellls me it’s carpet beetles. Mind you I have bites all over my body, especially my arms (not a rash that carpet beetles can cause). He says they will spray for them. Rarely does a spray work for these bugs but I say ok get some boric acid, wash and dry all linens, vacuum absolutely everything and let them spray. They said can take 2-3 weeks I waited all while getting continually bitten and nothing called again and I have received no answer. I called another pest control company told them my situation they came out looked at my entire mattress, pulled the mattress up to look at my bed frame in detail no more than 3 minutes in found 2 bedbugs....... I mean this problem has now festered for 2 months over incompetence at a company supposedly trained in this field?!? I’m lucky that it’s still very minor but some people aren’t as lucky and this is an exspensive and complicated issue that terminix just didn’t even care to truly look for even though that’s what they were there to do. This isn’t even getting into the rudeness and evasiveness of their Indianapolis office. Find someone else to take care of your issue and save yourself heartache and bug bites as well as a worse infestation due to incompetence.

I have had the WORST service from the Indianapolis East Great Lakes region that I have EVER dealt with. Matthew Cox is supposedly the branch manager. Never gets back with me to have a conversation. I was billed for a service I cancelled. They say a technician came out. I am calling BS. I have cobwebs all over my back porch, front porch, willy worms all over, stung by wasp yesterday. They weren't here. But they won't refund me my money. I can't even get anyone to commit to coming back out here for satisfactory work. If you are going to charge me, at least do good work. The level of professionalism is disgusting. I have NEVER had such terrible service. Our previous technician was fantastic. Always reliable & did top notch work. Everyone worked so well with my situation. Robert did a great job coming out and doing the inspection. he was knowledgeable and friendly. He kept in contact giving a good idea of when he would be to me. He was understanding about the time crunch I was in. Damien and his trainee were very nice and thoughtful. He was quick, but thorough. He explained everything he did when he was done with each step.He explained the process when he first got there, after his work in the house, and again in the yard, and prior to them leaving. The amount of information that is provided left me feeling secure in the decision I made as well as the money spent. After the inspection Robert gave me a booklet with information that explained his suggestions as well as other options. Damien left me with information about the placement of the bait traps and other information. My only complaint is that the service men did not call to keep me in the loop about arrival time like the inspector did.

Starting from my first phone call to the 800 number I was treated courteously, had everything explained to my understanding, questions answered. Not everyone on an 800# is that good. (Did not get the gentleman's name.) Thomas Barker called me the night before my appointment to go over a few things and we chatted about any questions I had. When he arrived the next day he explained everything at length and went to work outside, then basement, interior and attic. He left his cell # in case I had any further questions or needed him to return. It's only been six days since treatment and I am still seeing ants but keep reminding myself Tom said I should expect that. All that aside, one big reason I would recommend Terminix is because you are pet friendly, child friendly and eco-friendly. My neighbor has bee hives so I specifically asked about bees and was assured no materials would be used that would affect them. Thanx for your service.

Was told two different stories from the tech who came out about what they can and can’t do. She came out early to every appointment( that’s the whole point to an appointment window). Was told I would have another tech be sent out and it was the same tech from the last two times. Was told she would not spray even though it had been enough time since her last spray. Tried canceling and getting my money back for two weeks. The manager Tony at this branch never returned my call and the customer service line was terrible at communicating anything. Oh and whatever they sprayed did not work..ants and spiders still everywhere.

This has been an entirely awful experience. I schedule an appointment online for service in a vacant home. After sitting in the home with no furniture for over two hours and past the appointment window, I attempted to call customer service where I was on hold for over 45 minutes. Once I finally spoke to someone, I was told the Technician had already gone home and thought the appointment was later in the week. I reluctantly scheduled a new appointment but a few hours before the appointment I received a call from the technician saying he had a doctors appointment and needed to reschedule. I very reluctantly rescheduled the appointment again for 8 AM the following morning. I was told I would be the first appointment and he would be there promptly at 8 AM. As you can probably anticipate, when I left the home at 8:45 no one had come by yet. To make matters worse, the local number forwards to a call center with extremely long hold times and despite being promised calls back from the local manager, they were never received. I would recommend everyone stay far away from Terminix and stick with local companies.

Contacted Terminix with a mouse problem. Employee came to the house. talked me into outdoor foundation spraying for a year, saying it not only worked for insects but would help with mice. In addition, others would come inside the house, fix entry holes, set traps. When told they were glue traps, I said I had cats. He told me to tell the team to put the traps in "tin boxes." Based on everything he said, I signed a contract. The service was not scheduled until 1 week later - 2 teams to come out between 10 and 12. Team 1 showed up at 9:45 (no call that he'd be early) and sprayed the exterior. The receipt circled the insects this would help prevent; "mice" was not circled. I was beginning to smell a rat. Noon came and went with no team 2. Approximately 1:15, I get a call from team 2 saying they can't make it, shouldn't have been scheduled as they were on a long job. Meanwhile, I killed 1 1/2 hours. They re-schedule for the following Monday. They showed up Monday. Found no exterior holes. Found one tiny possible hole in the basement and foamed it. I asked about the traps and the tin boxes. No such thing as tin boxes. So I again mentioned my cats. Consequently, they placed 14 glue traps in my attic where I had never seen any sign of a mouse. They left telling me to give them a call in 2-3 weeks. Clearly, the whole deal seemed like a scam. I have since called 3 times, given this lengthy blow-by-blow description of the problems. Each time my call was supposedly referred to a branch manager. My last call was one day ago, and I was actually given the branch mgr's name and number. He has not called me today. I called him and left a message. No call back. I have never experienced such poor response/service from any company. I've explained that the contract was based on false claims, that I want it cancelled, that I will pay for the service call once everything is cleared up to my satisfaction. Still, nothing. I've since talked to others with mouse problems who went with other companies - no contract, no no-shows, no "extras," took care of the problem in one visit. Don't call Terminix for your problems, call a company that is reliable and that cares how they treat their customers.

HORRIBLE PEOPLE HORRIBLE SERVICE HORRIBLE PRODUCT DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! I am selling my house so I needed to get rid of some termites in a specific part of the house. I need a work order to prove that the work is done and I need to send it to my realtor as soon as possible. They completed the work and the tech said that a work order of proof that the work was completed would be sent in an email. The work order didn't come so I called their office.The people were polite, but they just shine me on and never clearly answer my questions. They never let you speak to a manager. They said that they had to check with their main district office to get the proof that the work was completed and it may take 24 hours. Really? The district office has to produce work orders for customers? That just doesn't make sense. I have to wait that long for something that should be produced to the customer as soon as the work is completed? Even a small local company would produce a work order on the spot.When I had Orkin do some work for me in the past, I would receive an invoice of work completed immediately right when I signed the form from the tech. This is very inconvenient as I am selling my house and need to send the work order of completion to my realtor ASAP. I am surprised that a national company like this would not have a system set up to get the work order to the customer by email as soon as the work is completed for my records. I should have gone with Orkin, it would have saved me so much time and energy. I feel like this is taking years off my life. So basically terminix is killing me along with the termites.

The problem is not the service it's the customer service which I had an issue that the technician didn't show up at my house then they charge my credit card then when I called to complain they said someone will call within 48 hours it's been over a week since . Don't know their names but every Terminix associate that has been to our house is professional and thorough and will take the time to explain a pest problem down to the details of a pest colony's hierarchy and operations. The convenience of the way Terminix operates is great, i.e. once you sign up, you can sit back and let them worry about the scheduling, the email reminders about upcoming service, the automatic payments, etc. We live in a wooded area so pests are a problem -- but we don't have to worry about them anymore thanks to Terminix. One other impressive detail is that they will follow up immediately at no charge if you see a problem before the next scheduled service.

When we first bought our current home, Kirk came to our door to introduce himself and welcome us to the neighborhood. He was very friendly and I held on to his contact info for a while. Our home was brand new and I wasn't sure if we were going to be using a service or not yet. After the first 30 days it was clear that I needed to give him a call. My first visit from Terminix was great. The person who came to my home was very polite, on time and professional. After that it has been all down hill, I have had appointments where no one has shown up, I have been scheduled new appointments for the no shows and then not had anyone show up for the new appointments. The last person who came to spray for bugs at my house made an ugly comment to how my house looked and the person before that just sat in his truck for an hour and never even went inside to do any work. When calling and asking for supervisors or managers to speak with I am thrown through obstacles and tied up on the phone for hours. When asking for a refund and cancellation i am then beat around the bush again being asked if they can get back to me several days later to see if they can fix their issues. I am completely disgusted by their services and will be looking for a new pest control company to do business with.

I have had the worst experience with them. I signed up for a payment plan for a year, when my year was coming close to being over I had a technician come every three months. Well around October he came and told me I had one more treatment in january then my term was up. I didnt want to do another contract so I said okay. On the day the guy was suppose to come he shows up and I tell him I dont really need your services and he says I'll just spray the outside. He did nothing absolutely nothing inside the house. Later I recieve a bill in the mail for 164.00 I call about it and they told me it's because my term was over. I had said I would like to speak to your supervisor everytime I asked them to speak to the supervisor I was put on hold and they spoke to them instead of me or I was told "he will call you later today what is a good contact number." NOT ONCE DID I RECIEVE A CALL FROM THE SUPERVISOR NOR DID I GET TRANSFERED TO TALK TO HIM EVEN THOUGH I HAVE CALLED AT LEAST 15 TIMES ASKING FOR HIM! So about a week ago I recieve a letter from collections stating I now owe them 200.00 dollars!!! I'm telling you dont waste your time with this place it is nothing but a rip off!!!!

When we experienced 2 bats in the house, we were horrified due to having a newborn son. Matt did an incredible job searching for entry location spots and then walking us through the removal process once he determined they were entering the attic. Then, the Terminex manager agreed that Nick and Jeff could work late and get our attic cleaned out the day that Matt discovered that is for sure where they were located. Nick and Jeff worked diligently until 9:30 at night finishing the project. I slept better that night knowing the situation was resolved than I had in 1.5 months since the first one has appeared. We were very impressed by their customer service and professionalism.

If you value your money, you will not do business with this Terminix office. They are terrible!! They lie and will not do what they sell. We paid $1500 to remove squirrels from our attic last year (June 2017). We have attempted multiple times to get them come out and get the squirrels. They would periodically come out and tell they just need to adjust the traps. It did not work. After a year of frustration, I asked for a refund. I did this knowing that they had a full satisfaction guarantee. They have given me the run around for at 5-6 months about the refund. They have had multiple managers and given me the same type of response. The current managers Ken, Tony and Scott have all given me the run around blaming the regional vice president saying that he has to approve of the refund. The corporate customer service has said that the local office has to approve of the refund. These guys are complete liars and cannot be trusted. Now when I call Ken with my cell phone he will not even take my call. I immediately called him back from a number that I knew he would not recognize, he immediately picked up the call. Just this past week I went into my attic to change the air filters and saw the "squirrel traps" that they supposed set to catch the squirrels. To my utter surprise, I find MOUSE traps. (See the pictures below). These clowns clearly don't know what they are doing but charge excessive prices like they do. Again if you value your hard earned money. DO NOT USE TERMINIX!!!

How can you sign a contract for a years service at the very end of December, get your first service in January, then be told that the service at the beginning of the next December is not included in the contract?? Am I missing something here?? Last I knew a year was 12 months, not 11!! Now I’m being billed for a service that was supposed to be in my service contract. Very disgusted and disappointed. Canceled any future contract and it’s too bad because my technician Michael was great. Oh it gets even better. 5 mins after posting this review I get a call from terminix with a Rhode Island phone number telling me it was there error and I have a $0 balance. Ok great thanks. NOW tonight I get a phone call saying no record of that phone call and I owe $170!! Oh my god. Stay away from these guys. They have there own calendar. 1 year is 11 months for them. What a crock. when I set up the appointment, I was told that they would treat not only the infested areas in my home as well as the entire home inside and out. The scheduler also told me that the tech would also remove bees nests and spider webs from the eves. When the Tech arrived, he informed me that he would only be treating the two areas that are infested and it was illegal to treat the rest of my home. He would NOT be treating my entire home!!! This makes NO sense!!! He also informed me that he would treat the perimeter of my home but not remove bees nests or spider webs. I told the tech that the scheduler told me of the services I was to receive and he said "all they do is schedule the appointments, they don't really know what is to be done". I immediately cancelled the service. I was very disappointed and upset that the services promised would not be done. Will not be using them in the future. Would recommend any one wanting services to make sure that this company is going to give you the services you are needing. I don't even want to give them one star!!

I think the tech's name was Branden....maybe? I'm bad with names. He was really helpful with everything. He took time to answer all my questions, and worked like a dog to do the job right when putting in new vents along the sides of my home, as well as a new crawl space door....which included digging up a new space to put in gravel and bricks. It was well over 90 degrees with really high humidity and he never complained one time. Not once. I would have!!! Scheduled an appointment online to have Terminix come to my home to assess a situation with a squirrel in my attic. I took the morning off from work to be home for an appointment between 8:00am and 10:00am. At 10:30 I had not heard anything and called, the customer service rep attempted to call the technician who never answered his phone and didn't have his voicemail set up. The customer service rep mentioned she talked to the manager and he wasn't sure why the technician hadn't shown. They asked me to reschedule for another day which would require me leaving work early to make the appointment. I left work early, came home, and another no call no show. I called again, was told the technician didn't answer his phone, a manager was talked to and the manager said the technician who was scheduled to be at my home didn't even work the day I was scheduled!!! The manager told the customer service rep he would guarantee they'd be out the next day, which again would require me to miss work, I said no thanks. I never heard from a manager locally and when I asked for a number to speak to someone directly in my area I was given a number for a complaint line in another state. Based on the high ratings I expected more from Terminix but I can't trust their going to show up so how would I trust them to treat my issue? Meanwhile, I still have squirrels in my attic. What a nutty experience.

I had a first time inspection today from 3-5 p.m. I took off work early to be home. Inspector had already stopped by. When I called him he said was already an hour away, even though it was 3:45 (I came home through the garage so it took me awhile to see the note on the front door.) This is a updated post about my last experience with Terminix which I will start with they did return my money so let's be clear about that. But what happened before is what I needed to let be known it started with an appointment to treat a resident where I am no longer staying at. The tech called me and left a message to me that he was coming by. I returned his call leaving a message not to come and that I will have it rescheduled when I was ready at this time I was on the road and figured I was all set. Well to my surprise the tech came by anyway and then I was billed for the service. I then when on line and the site was down for maintenance when I didn't remember my password and wanted to get on the site. Come to find out I was placed on autopay so the money was taken out. After a couple of days after I was able to call an talk to them. Did it get resolved but it shouldn't ever happened.

Terminix service is extremely inconsistent. Technicians are not detailed or informed. I literally have to call back several times to get adequate service. In this attempt alone, I've been calling Terminix since Nov. 7th before I had my issue resolved on Dec. 4th. I got excuse after excuse about why a technician couldn't assist me. First it was a supposed ice storm on the roof, so they couldn't inspect it and rescheduled with me. I rescheduled with the technician, and then called to confirm my appointment on the following week, and was told that I didn't have and appointment. So then I rescheduled again. I received the same technician (Tim) who arrived an hour past the appointment block window. He once again couldn't/wouldn't perform the service as he came by himself and didn't bring anyone to help steady the ladder. Yet, he knew when he rescheduled the first time that he would need to get on the roof.. so why come unprepared?? When I expressed my concerns for why I thought I had a rodent in my garage, he made ridiculous suggestions as to why I was mistaken.. i.e.: All of the spiders on my traps disappeared overnight.. something ate them.. He suggested a cat wandered into my garage and ate all the insects off of the traps or got caught on the traps and wiped them clean (all 5 of them) ... smh... Ridiculous.. So then I call again, talked with customer service for several minutes, explained the situation and my frustration. I was told they'll be sending someone to fix the issue and that they'd be sure to bring assistance. I get a call an hour before the appointment window ends (from a very nice young man), saying that I needed a service technician, not an inspection, so he wouldn't be able to help me, but would ensure that my issues were addressed and they would send someone out. I adamantly request Harold! He seems to be the only one around there that knows how to fix anything. If it wasn't for him, I would be cancelling my service. I will say that the young man I spoke with was helpful in directing me to his manager and was apologetic for the mishaps I had previously experienced. Tim however was not apologetic or helpful! Harold was able to come out on Dec. 4th, and addressed my issues, discussed what the problem was, and followed up after he sealed off the hole. I'm so grateful to Harold for all of his help, attention to detail, and dedication to ensuring that work is done properly. I wish you all had more technicians like Harold. I wasted so much time and had to take off work waiting around for failed attempts. Going forward, I plan to bypass any other technicians and ask specifically for Harold. Harold DESERVES A RAISE!!!

Called for a free termite estimate in July 2016. John Conklin came out, inspected my house for 5 minutes at most (didn't even check attic) and told me I would get an emailed estimate. Well, rats. After too many rats, one of the super-courteous Terminix guys set traps . . . .but failed to put bait in the trap in the main problem-area! And, they set other trap boxes with bait but . . . didn't set the traps. Gee, I guess I shoulda checked that. We realized later that the major entry points for rats were never brought to our attention even though the very nice technicians were coming on schedule -- and BTW they are all very polite, courteous and respectful. My inspection, termite treatment, and first pest control treatment have been done quickly and professionally. Shawn Kirby did the inspection and gave me my options when he confirmed that I do have some termite activity in my home. The termite bait stations were placed when promised, and the first pest control treatment was scheduled at a time that worked well for me (on a Saturday). I loved the notification that the technician was on his way so that I was not just left wondering how to organize my Saturday morning. The technician was thorough and professional, but also very personable. I don't remember his name, but he was fulfilling his obligation in a Saturday rotation, and won't be my regular technician. Regardless, he was friendly and took the time to make sure and explain all he did in detail. I'm very pleased with the service I've received so far.

In 2017 I used Terminix previously, and was not satisfied with there service I received. The Home Tech was lazy, and didn't do a good job at spraying. ( Did the bar minimum) I requested a new tech, and he was much better. However I was never informed that I had to call EVERY month to let them know I needed services monthly. They charged me 80.00 each month and only came out 1 in 90 days for $240.00 Seriously!?!? When I called to make a complaint the informed me it was in my contract, I informed them I never received a copy of any contract via paper, email, text or PDF file. But still refused to give me a refund! I canceled ! This year a sales rep came to my door and offered me a discount because he had enough people in my area sign up for services. I informed him I would get paid until Friday he would have to come back then. He ensured me that taking my CC# would start service now and they wouldn't debit it until Friday. The next day a Tech came out and completed treatment. Low and behold- money was deducted from my account charging me a NSF fee with my bank. A manager called me a week later and did provide a credit on my account of $80.00 I informed him I wanted service MONTHLY, I didn't see a point on paying for services I wasn't receiving. I work 10-12 days with a family and the last thing I need is to worry about calling my pest control service every month to set up a appointment. The only time they would call is ONCE every 90 days to schedule an appointment. I feel providing customer service should be TOP priority and calling the customer to schedule appointments monthly NOT every 90 days then if the customer does not need it they can tell the tech not to come. I want nothing else to do with this Business and turning this matter over to the BBB, because at this point this is the second chance Iv given them and they did the same thing as before. I would give a 0 If I could!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM, contact a local pest control company that is small in size they are cheaper and do a better job!

My technician is awesome! Very thorough, courteous and knowledgable. We are on the 3 month plan which covers all major bugs etc. We had all kinds of spiders, beetles etc. If you have any problems or see spiders etc they will come back out and spray again. The only negative thing I can say is they're expensive.

I have used Terminix for any years on a yearly basis, and been very satisfied with my service, promptness of returned visits to my house when a new bug problem pops up. My serviceman, of many year, is Rafael. He is both knowledgeable, polite, helpful and dependable. It is a relief to know that all I have to do is put in a call to Terminix when a bug problem arises, instead of going through the phone book looking for an unknown company.

Terminix was extremely effective in eliminating our pest problem and in keeping our property pest-free since the initial treatment. Unfortunately, my memory isn't very good anymore, and I cannot recall specific names, although every Terminix associate who provided services was polite, pleasant, and very good at his job. Normally, I would have described this service as Excellent, Very Effective, or Outstanding; however, Google insisted that the best response was Loved it, which seems to me to be a weird description of eliminating bugs.

I will NEVER Use Terminix. I tried canceling my appointment because we wanted to do more research. Calling is a nightmare, when I finally got someone on the phone, they said I’m not in the system until the day of the appointment. Had to call again for cancellation, they would not take a no thank you for an answer, had to say NO period. Do your research before signing up with door to door people!!

Very unprofessional. I scheduled an appt for Wed 5/29 from 5 to 7 and the technician called me at 8:19 pm that he was not able to make it !!! He told me he would come today 5/30/2018 from 4 to 5 , He did not even call... I explained that I just want to put the tent because I know I have termites. They just lost a customer. If you don't go to your appt, how can you get new customers???? Unbelievable !!!!!

They have a star because they wont let you post without at least one! I am extremely angry at these clowns! We reached out to them on Wednesday for a second opinion. We had already had Official Pest scheduled for Friday but we felt it is a good idea to have a second opinion and Terminix would have saved us a little money. We had an inspection scheduled with Terminix for 8:15 am, he showed up at 10:30. We were scheduled for 1:00 pm today and they call at 3:10 to reschedule for Monday afternoon. Totally inconsiderate and unprofessional, We have small children and 7 puppies that we moved around for this today so if you are thinking about using these people, DON'T DO IT!!!

They came for about $1700 and put the termite bait traps 10 to 14 feet from my foundation I called 5 times over the last 3 weeks simple solution just move them next to my house but they never returned any call or email me,it seems when they get your money goodbye. There abut 15 traps buried in the sand.

Absolute non-service! This company missed two service calls without notification. I waited three hours for one scheduled appointment and no one arrived, or returned my calls until after hours. Finally, got them out to fumigate for spiders. The spiders returned within one week after the "service" was performed. This is a very bad franchise.

ONLY giving one star because that's the lowest option. The product itself -absolutely works. Horrible customer service. Absolute worst communication skills I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I personally think they're a scam and only care about the money, and not the customer. My account was charged for a service I did NOT receive. The service manager I FINALLY spoke to was very rude and refused to return the money they stole. Would not recommend to anyone. At least the Topeka location.

I have been a customer for over 20 years. I have termites in my house, terminix confirmed that I need to tent my house. I have been waiting for 2 and a half months for a call back to schedule the tenting. It is ridiculous! I called the local technician and the company so many times and still nothing. Do not get termite protection with terminix because when you need them, they will not even call you back to schedule the tenting for your house.

I have just had my 6th appointment randomly changed after Terminex set it and I go into work and schedule myself off and Terminex just decides to change it to a time I am working. When I call to change it they say they will tell my local office and they will call me. NEVER EVER have they called me. There is NO local number to call for service - it all goes through a master number which ends up being NO service. I regret regret REGRET having signed up with these people.

I have had a termite contract with the Miami company for 2 years and the service is horrible. I call to schedule treatments (while having live termites flying INSIDE my home) and inspectors to not come with proper equipment, or are late, or cancel. I have wasted many hours off from work waiting for missed appointments. Today, once again, they "claim" to have come but I have been at my home the entire time waiting by the door. I have complained to Corporate and will continue to do so. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I requested service (without being 100% sure that I wanted it) after being told that I could cancel at any time, so I wouldn't have to worry about being unsure. After speaking with my fiance, we decided against their service so, I called to cancel. This morning I received my FIFTH CALL from these people. Having told them every time that I DO NOT what my home services! While I had considered before that, well, I'll call them when I do require their service. Now I'm thinking that I will not. Due to their employees inability to listen to simple requests. Like TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALL LIST. Just poor customer service. Work on it, guys!

Have been a customer for 2 years and EVERY, I MEAN EVERY time there is an appointment made its ends up being rescheduled because the tech never shows up. This last time after my 3rd, THIRD attempt in scheduling the annual termite inspection the tech NEVER SHOWED UP. When I called the office for an explanation they couldn't reach the tech. According to the receptionist she left a message to the branch Manager concerning the no show. Neither the Manager or the Tech called. My contract with Terminix is up in a couple of months and I cant wait to cancel. What good is a company that can not keep its contract and service its customer?
