When I made the appointment, The sign-up charge was waived and I appreciated that but I wasn't told that I would have to sign a year agreement until after I met with the man who was to do the spraying. I was only told how much it would cost for two months and a third month if I wanted to continue. So get all the facts before you drive to a different town to your rental property to meet somebody to spray. The person who met me there was a gentleman and he was not the person I spoke to on the phone where I first made the appointment but I did have to sign the 1 year contract to get him to spray. I think they should've told me on the front end before I made the appointment so I could make a decision whether I wanted someone to come spray every other month for a year I wasn't too happy how they played that off.

Everything went well with one exception. Orkin should provide their people with shoe/boot covers/socks, so they don't track mud into customer's houses. I had to do a little cleaning/vacuuming after the huys left the house.

The work is great. Have not seen one bug not even and ant sice service started. However, the service scheduling is terrible. They have shown up twice with No notice and They have scheduled me for a morning block and did not show up until 6pm twice now. If they could fix these issues I would change my rating.

Orkin service is above and beyond! My family was first introduced to Orkin and Mr. Steven Comer, Pest Control Route Manager in 2005. Mr. Comer was very informative and helpful and kept our home pest free! We moved out of state in 2012 because of family emergency. Currently, we moved back into our home and immediately wanted to continue business with Orkin. This morning when Mr. Comer knocked on the front door this morning, I was elated and excited to see him after all these years! He remembered my children and the family dog. As always, the five star service was 100%!

Orkin is terrible to deal with. I think when they call and schedule people they write it down on sticky notes. Then, somehow it gets thrown away and nobody there knows when you were scheduled and that happens over and over every other month. There's more, but that's what's really aggravating. Although, they are supposed to come out every month according to the contract (not that I wanted them to, just pointing that out). One positive side to them is the guys that come out to the house are great. They are very nice, polite, and helpful.

More spiders, wood roaches inside than Zi had with previous service. Also concerned that rat bait boxes are not effective. May not stay filled, or placement is haphazard. 10-23-'18 Very happy to report as a satisfied customer, that service is very good now. I live by a creek where rats are a problem, but I have not had any rat damage to the exterior of my home in over a year.

I only gave them one star simply because 0 stars was not an option. I am so disappointed in such a widely known company. I called to schedule an immediate appointment for our new home. I explained I am expecting a baby soon and wanted to get moved in and settled without any hassle from unwanted pests. They quoted me $189 which I thought was reasonable and we agreed on $40 each month for continuous service. They said they would be out the next day between 10am-12pm and would give a courtesy call. Next day comes and 1230pm rolls around with no technician or call. So I call the main office and was told they were unable to reach the tech and that they would call back. I get a call over an hour later from the tech who says he absolutely would not be able to make it today because the office had overbooked him. I explained the seriousness of our issue and told the man I understood that it wasn’t his fault. He said he would have a manager call me and that he would try to come later that evening. No call for another 2 hours. I called and asked for a manager and was sent to a voicemail letting them know I wanted a call back. No one called back. No one showed up to do my service. No reschedule. We had to hold off on moving since they didn’t come. I called again Monday morning explaining my disappointment and the bad taste they left in my mouth. AGAIN NO CALL BACK and here it is Tuesday. I work in customer service and this is NOT how we do business. I will not be referring them to anyone I know. Very unreliable and unresponsive.

I signed on not for insect control, but for rodent control. I still have the rodent problem. Also, I receive a message that today was my treatment day and to contact you guys if that was a problem. I was a problem so I called back and left a message saying not to come but call next week. They came anyway and left a message saying they sprayed around the house anyway for insect outside in December, truly absurd. I was told that I was charged for this nothingness. I need my checking account to be reimbursed for this, now. And, don’t come back.

These guys are AWESOME! We have a house full of kids so lots of messes and spills and clutter, a paradise for roaches...And boy we had them. We tried fighting the problem on our own which didn't work and was a waste of money. So glad I called Orkin. It took a few months to clear up our bug problem but man they are GONE. Orkin comes once every two months to treat our home, and it only costs me about $40 a month, totally worth it. Anytime I have a problem I can call them and they come to the rescue at no additional charge.

The service guy was supposed to come out between 8am to 10am. The tracker on the website said he arrived at my place at 11:53am but there was no orkin truck anywhere. I am disappointed with the service guy that has been assigned to me. No call no text. Nothing. I thought maybe he had multiple places in my area to do but it’s 1:00pm and still no show. If this continues, I will be changing services because I need my place treated inside and outside.
