The morning of our yearly termite inspection, I was at the hospital emergency room. I called Mid State at 8am to inform them I needed to reschedule. I had their office staff on speaker phone. Myself and everyone who overheard the conversation was in shock and disbelief that the Mid State scheduler gave me an ultimatum to either be home (in other words, drive home from the hospital) or she would gladly cancel our 14 year contract. An ultimatum under emergency conditions is wrong on so many levels. Since 7/18/19 I've made numerous requests for the owner to call me and discuss this, but as of 8/29/19, I've not received a return call. I sent a letter to the owner regarding the ultimatum and his reply dated 8/8/19 made NO MENTION of my PRIMARY concern, nor any hint of an apology (they didn't forget to include the bill though) The scheduler's reason for her ultimatum was because we rescheduled prior to this (always advance notice, never last minute) Surgeries, my hectic legal position and a funeral were valid reasons to reschedule. I don't like to broadcast my personal business, but since the owner failed to acknowledge my complaint, refuses to return my calls, nor sent me an updated contract, I'm posting this issue and cancelling the contract. I would NOT recommend this company for several reasons. I wish I had cancelled a lot sooner, but enough is enough!!. As for service, it was a 50/50 gamble if spray treatments worked. I paid $94.60 last visit and this recent visit, but the "spray didn't do anything" (see proof below) THAT is called being RIPPED OFF for $189.20. I'm hoping they do the right thing and refund me!. I'm extremely busy, I don't have time for numerous visits. Treatment should be done right the first time!.
PS-- I noticed a "Mid State employee" posted two of the five star reviews. One of them stating; "Mid State treats you like family"
