So I own to homes. One is an income property the other is my primary. I have repeatedly asked to have them call the management company to schedule an appointment for the income property and they can come to my primary residence the same day. Every time they switch techs I have to make a phone call with the same request. I will find a company that can handle putting notes on my account so that I do not have to explain the situation every 3 months.

Their service is too expensive for what you get. Used them for two very long years hoping each quarter would be different but it never was. Their treatments do not work. Not only that, they will come to your home and spray the backyard but not the inside (occasionally leaving a note) but bill us for the full amount. Customer care when you call them are friendly BUT do not expect a quick call back (days will pass or no call at all). The last straw for me was when we had a new guy ( to us) come out to spray for fleas (we rescued a neighbors loose dog and put his flea ridden self in our yard). 1. We were told that unless we put our dogs on a monthly flea treatment, he was not coming out to spray because that was wasting his time. Ummmmm...aren't WE paying YOU? So...we ended putting our dogs on poison so he would come out. He told us we had to leave for three hours with the pets. As I was getting in the car, I see him walking up the driveway carrying a can of spray that has ALWAYS been used in my house WITH ALL OF US THERE. Clearly, their technicians are not trained the same way because for two years we have stayed in our home while someone was there spraying. After that incident, we decided to go elsewhere.

I am so furious. I called Adam's Pest Control to handle pest problem. I arranged for a full quarterly treatment and paid in advance for all treatments at the outset. The young gentleman (Colton I think his name was) who came out gave no instructions prior to coming out and told me when he got there we'd have to remove all our belongings from the cabinets (cabinets only!) and pets so he could treat and that we'd have to be away for 3 hours with them. We had no notice! We scrambled and made it happen and he said he would have to go back to the shop to get more bait. This was a 10 am appointment and he doesn't have enough bait for one of his first appointments - a place he has never been to before and should be prepared for anything. So three hours became all day because he was coming back "sometime after lunch" to spray more. So with our pets in tow, we found a way to spend the whole day away. And, yes, it was the whole day because he never called us. He never let us know he was done. When we returned that night - there was no evidence he had come back. The only room treated was the kitchen which he had done while we were there. He had set the next appointment before we left - once again no instructions. So when he arrived 10 days later and again said the whole of our cabinets had to be cleared, my disabled husband (the only one home for this visit) scrambled and cleared them and hurt himself trying to clear all of the pets by himself. He followed the pest guy because I was concerned about not seeing evidence of treatment anywhere but the kitchen. Once again, he tried to treat just the kitchen. When my husband asked about the rest of the house - "Oh, you got them in other rooms?!" Well, yes sir, critters tend to move around and stuff!! He begrudgingly treated the bathroom but still wasn't treating anywhere else. I called in. I told the company. Then I told his supervisor, Jerry. I told him what had happened and that I wanted a refund because a partial treatment only creates immunity. Then I played tag with the super because he couldn't leave any detail to his messages. I left a message requesting he call back and let me know if they were going to refund my money. Then I waited all weekend. I waited for him to call me back Monday. And called him Tuesday. He tried to tell me he would only refund the treatments I hadn't received. I told him that wouldn't do as the treatments I'd received had made the situation worse not better. Charging for the treatments states that they were done properly, which they were not. He held his ground and I told him I would have to consult my lawyer. He said do what I have to do and I said, "I will, thank you." and hung up. I was speaking to my lawyer when he called back and said he would be refunding my money in full. No apology. That was this morning and I am still waiting on this refund he promised. I had intended to go back with my old pest control man John Tinsley with Adams (I had him as my contractor years before) once I had a chance to deal with the disaster this mess has caused in my house. But that was prior to the behavior of the super. With leadership like that - the treatment of customers in that way, I think I will look to another company.

I used Adams for an initial home inspection. They called me a year later for an annual inspection - one that I did not ask for or need. I blocked their number because of so many phone calls and texts. I come home to a note stuck in my door saying they inspected the outside of my house, meaning they were on private property WITHOUT permission and THEN they sent a $163 invoice. In terms of business practices and customer services, I have never heard or seen anything like this. If I ever do need an inspection, I will make sure to use another company.

After closing on my first home I was shocked to learn of the severe moisture damage, wood rot, rotted joists & much more in my crawl space. Most people probably don’t know that when you purchase a home, a pest control company is hired to give the lender a letter of clearance. This letter not only is suppose to indicate any termites found but the pest control company is suppose to state whether the home has any moisture or water damage in the crawlspace. My letter of clearance noted no water damage or moisture damage. The Arkansas plant board cited Adams pest control with a substandard inspection & required them to fix some of the damage under my home. However, had I known my home had water / moisture damage period I would not have bought it. I believe Adams pest control did not inspect my home & simply signed off on the letter of clearance as a favor to my realtor. So now I sit in a home with about $40k worth of damage that Adams had a legal obligation to report yet didn’t. Adams acted as though I was being too picky when I requested this be fixed. Then when my termite contract was up, they would not renew it as if I was the one in the wrong. Think twice before you hire this company. They do the bare minimum & don’t care about screwing over good people.

Poor communication. It is a challenge when I need to get in touch with my technician. I’ve left him 2 voicemails over the last week and a half. I’ve been very patient (seeing as we are still experiencing problems even though they sprayed recently.) I resorted to calling the office today so that they could put me in contact with him before the weekend, and once again I have heard nothing. **Update: Have talked to the technician and communication has improved. He does a great job in taking care of our problems, and we wouldn’t choose anyone else.

They never came to my house, but the previous house owner had them. My annual inspection was done in November. They started calling me and my husband starting in May. I told them several times that it was done in November. We bought the house in January. We have been called about 7 times asking us to schedule an inspection. We told them every single time that it wasn't due until November. We were told that they'll update our records. Tell me why we got an invoice from Adam's pest control today stating that we owe money for services that weren't done? I talked to a nice lady on the phone today and she said she will take care of it and will remove us from the list as well. I'd give the lady a five star but the company itself a 0 for not keeping accurate records and sending invoices for services not rendered!

EDIT: Tim Adams called me & made it right. I appreciate the lengths he went to to make sure that I was taken care of. I sent an e-mail inquiry in the middle of the week and asked to receive a quote via e-mail. They ended up calling to verify that I wasn't a "robot," which is fine, BUT the fact that they did not call me until the following Monday is what upset me. They got my information and I stated that I would like a technician to come out Thursday or Friday. She said that was great, that the technicians prefer scheduling days ahead like that. I was told that a technician would be calling me. Here comes Thursday, I still have not heard anything. So I sent them a message. Still nothing. I called first thing Friday morning and was apologized to. No problem. The problem is that I was promised a technician would call me AS SOON AS we got off the phone. Well, it is now 2:30 in the afternoon. Have I heard from a technician? No. Very unprofessional. I am a first time home buyer and am new to all of this so it is very displeasing to have this experience with the first place that I tried taking my business to. Would NOT recommend.

We had a great experience with Adams Pest Control at first. We had one guy who came out to do our quarterly treatments who was very thorough & professional. Then there was a different guy who took over & he seemed fine at first but not quite as thorough. I am always happy to give someone the benefit of the doubt though so I let it go. That was a mistake because the service went downhill from there. The last treatment we received was a complete surprise, the technician called & left a message that it was time for our treatment but we were super busy at the time & had not returned the call. We got home one day to an invoice on our front door saying that the technician had sprayed. Since no one was home, he/she could not have sprayed in our house and our backyard is behind locked gates so he could not have sprayed over half of the outside perimeter. When we contacted Adams because we did not want to pay for a full quarterly treatment when we did not receive one, we never received an actual response yet we continue to receive bills. So beware that once the honeymoon is over you may not get the service you want.

They never came to my house, but the previous house owner had them. My annual inspection was done in November. They started calling me and my husband starting in May. I told them several times that it was done in November. We bought the house in January. We have been called about 7 times asking us to schedule an inspection. We told them every single time that it wasn't due until November. We were told that they'll update our records. Tell me why we got an invoice from Adam's pest control today stating that we owe money for services that weren't done? I talked to a nice lady on the phone today and she said she will take care of it and will remove us from the list as well. I'd give the lady a five star but the company itself a 0 for not keeping accurate records and sending invoices for services not rendered!

EDIT: Tim Adams called me & made it right. I appreciate the lengths he went to to make sure that I was taken care of. I sent an e-mail inquiry in the middle of the week and asked to receive a quote via e-mail. They ended up calling to verify that I wasn't a "robot," which is fine, BUT the fact that they did not call me until the following Monday is what upset me. They got my information and I stated that I would like a technician to come out Thursday or Friday. She said that was great, that the technicians prefer scheduling days ahead like that. I was told that a technician would be calling me. Here comes Thursday, I still have not heard anything. So I sent them a message. Still nothing. I called first thing Friday morning and was apologized to. No problem. The problem is that I was promised a technician would call me AS SOON AS we got off the phone. Well, it is now 2:30 in the afternoon. Have I heard from a technician? No. Very unprofessional. I am a first time home buyer and am new to all of this so it is very displeasing to have this experience with the first place that I tried taking my business to. Would NOT recommend.
