This Park is included in the category of State park.
Don't let the size of this lake fool you, it's a ton of fun. Fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking, etc. Will fill your day with a ton of fun. The lake is really clean and has natural coal so it may be good for your skin. This lake is cheap and very worth a visit.
Beautiful lake views. Very layed back.
Excellent park!
Used to be a great place to camp and boat. All camping areas are not maintained. Turned into reserved only and no where near water. Prices keep going up and nothing is getting updated or improving. Sad. What a waste.
Beautiful lake and state park
Love this place.
Great place to camp and fish...and sometimes even catch fish ;)
Was a great lake until most of the fish went over the spillway
Beautiful lake!
Had a great time with my friends went cliff jumping
Great fun for the family
Great fishing
Great campground!
The lake was like slime and the smell was even worse
I would highly recommend camping somewhere else. Rangers and sheriffs harass people at night with no cause. Nothing but un level spots and dirt everywhere. Also killed a 4ft rattlesnake outside our camper. So no more camping there.
Great area to fish and relax
We're not into fishing so we probably won't come back but it looks like a great place for fishing and boating.
Nice and Growing...
Always fun.
Great place to get away to
A wonderful place for family and friends.
Nice scenery. Campsites are very accessible.
Beautiful place for camping fishing or just a day trip for swimming and a picnic
Fishing, camping, swimming, golfing close by. Close to Devil's Tower and many other senic areas between the Black Hills and the Big Horns.
Close to Devils Tower. Lots of privacy and the swimming is good. No lifeguards.
North East Wyoming's lil jewel! I LOVE the campground! We stayed at Tatanka!
We swam all day it was great. It was only $6 for a day pass totally worth it.
Very clean park with beautiful scenery. Clean facilities
Very beautiful and 45 minutes away from devils tower. They have a nice lake as well. On the down side they are pretty full a lot of the time
Beautiful lake. We loved staying here. I wish I'd had a boat to enjoy it more.
Such a fun place to relax
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful
Very well kept pack fees are more than fair.
Great campsite. Family enjoyed the bike ride from our campsite to the beach and skipping rocks.
Friendly people, and great service at the marina!
I loved the park
Clean camp sites, decent restrooms, drinking water close by, amazing sunsets. Playground at the Cottonwood campground for the kids.
Nice lake clean park bathrooms are fair but overall beautiful place
A hidden gem in the middle of Wyoming. Water in Wyoming you say ? Great access, good services, great water for boating and fishing !
lots of mosquitos because of tall grass. prices raised but less maintenance...I always loved it here but I wish it was taken care of more. not a bang for your buck.
This please was amazing except in cabin #1 the mattresses were in such disrepair that that sleeping on them was painful and unsafe. Fortunately I brought a blow up mattress.
Good fishing and camping, good accommodations
We stayed here the late part of Decwmber. This year there was not snow. The campground was quiet and there were still ducks, seagulls and bald eagles to be seen in the morning. We had electrical hookups and water was available. The sites were pretty level with some pines and cedars. We enjoyed our stay.
Love Tatanka. The campground hosts this year are the absolute best ever. The grounds are cleaner than ever. The vault toilets are not only clean (floors & all) but smell good and I'm not sure how that's possible. They are sociable, very helpful and always greet you with a smile. To top it all off they are also doing the same for Pronghorn (another campground). Made our stay very enjoyable.
This place sucks
Good fishing early spring
Nice camp ground. Kind of out of way, but pretty and quiet. Security was very good - always checking on things. I would stay again.
Campsites were a little trashy but otherwise it was great
Fun place to swim and have a family day of fun fishing boating camping and all other fun events fourth of July fire work from the lake that was awesome
Nice camping area. Great fishing for my boys. enjoyed our 1 night.
It's so beautiful.
Fun place
Nice enough park but the treat is taking the back road to devils tower. No traffic, good birding. We came across half a dozen magpies on a deer carcass, also an eagle, flickers, towhees, bluebirds. Beautiful country along the stream.
This is a beautiful lake.
Nice
Beautiful
Amazing camp sites great fishing spots very beautiful scenery
Generally clean and well maintained. Tons of fun for camping and boating. Though it tends to be busy and parking can be a challenge.
I liked it because it was very calming the water and land is a little polluted but not that bad there are tables were you can eat ate the is also a camping grounds there also there are peaple on boats and things that all day but it is nice and all the peaple that work there are very nice and very helpful with the park and there is also many more things you can do there and it is perfect for a weekend out on the lake
So much fun..boating and enjoying Wyoming.
Great place for camping. I strolled in there on a whim. Just looking for a place to get off the road for the night. Plenty of different camping position options. Designated fire rings in each lot. Also cabin options if you choose to reserve ahead of time. A couple of bodies of water for fishing. Variety of wildlife in the area as well.
Wish I could give it 10 stars
Very nice, well maintained, very clean.
Nice lake dirty campgrounds.
Really beautiful!!! The camping sites are really well layed so each has a nice view. Only draw back is there is only water and electric, with no showers.
Nice place to many people
Beautiful park!
One of Wyoming gems
When you have a boat it's 10 times better but still really fun roasting marshmallows and telling ghost story's
Praceful and scenic.
This is a wonderful place. Its great for swimming and cliff jumping but it is deep so if you are a great or have small childern its best to keep them by the shore
Great place to take the family and fur babies
Quite a few boaters but still plenty of space to find a private spot to fish
Never been til recently, work by here and when off work the lake I went to fish. The store on top is awesome to. Get a chance check this spot out.
Love going there for BBQs and fishing
Lots of fun swimming and bbq on park grill
Loved our stay at Keyhole!
Easy gettaway!!! Their policies are fallowed if not the lake police see that everything's taken care of.
We had a great afternoon- no rain, but cloud cover. I'm glad we went on a week day to avoid some of the noise & busyness of motor boats. We had fun exploring.
Great area and well kept campground. Facilities are good enough considering they are vault toilets. There are no showers but there is a facility in Pine Haven that has incredibly beautiful shower rooms - only about a 5 minute drive from the main entrance of the park. Staff very friendly and the regular boaters in the area were very courteous on the water. Saw lots of fish although I am not a fishing gal, but the reservoir seems well stocked. The store at the marina is also pretty well stocked and decent prices on items. Young staff but they were responsive if a little less than courteous.
My kids n I have camped here, fished here, hiked here, boated, swam, tubes, seen fireworks here, and more. We Love this Place very peaceful pretty cool place to go!!!
Very peaceful, beautiful, love this place
Albeit in torrential rainfall, the location was prime
Beautiful view of the reservoir. Very peaceful and quiet. Easy to get to from I-90.
Absolutely beautiful area. I didn't even explore everything. We will be back. We had a weird encounter with the camp host though.
We had a beautiful site by the water, with the exception of dirt road between us and the lake, cars will drive up and down the road and kick up dust. People with pets are not required to keep them on a leash, one camper had 10 or so small dogs with a wire cage all round his camp site but they barked non stop. But the views and kayaking was wonderful and would come back. You just have to put up with camping neighbors that just can’t talk quickly in the morning yelling at their dogs.
Beautiful state park with lots of wildlife, hiking trails and clean campgrounds.
Had a good time as always!!
I Love going to Keyhole, I went camping and swimming there when I was young with my parents and sister. Now I take my kids there every year camping with my husband. It's so Beautiful and peaceful!
Water water almost everywhere
My dog didnt have any problems but there was a no animal sign!? Plz change this.
Ughhh I didn't like it. I was planning on camping but I changed to a cabin at the last minute and I'm so glad I did. The sites we're ridiculously slanted and I don't understand how anyone could ever sleep in a tent in them. There weren't even leveled out places to place your tent. I'm not even going to get into how the parking lot was far from the sites so you'd have to walk your belongings all the way down. The cabin was nice but it did require you to practically clean the entire cabin or else you'd be charged $50. The bathrooms had absolutely no running water which seemed preposterous considering there is a marina very close by. The lake was pretty but it was basically the only thing going for the park. The park had absolutely no staff on site and the emails regarding how to get into cabins were so extensive that pertinent details were hidden. In short I will not be coming back.
Awesome lake and beautiful scenery!
Nice lake Park. They have lots of dry camping sites. Covered picnic tables, boot launch and fish cleaning station.
Quite with plenty of wind to go around. Very fun place to spend a week. Awesome rock formations and cliff faces... must boat to to see.
Very pretty!
They raised all the fees why dont they do something about the roads and the weeds?
Good place to fish but when we visited in June the camp ground hosts at Pats Point were very rude.we had our very quiet generator on a few minutes past 230pm one nite and instead of knocking on the door and asking/reminding us to turn off, they set their car alarm off for 5 minutes then walked over and disabled our generator!!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE behavior on their part. And extremely RUDE! The following night another r.v.ran their generator til past 130am and NOTHING was said to them!. Grrrr!!! Majority of sites are first come first served yet we saw MANY ppl 'holding ' campsites for up to 2 days for others and not being busted for it!
Nice lake
Beautiful Park so much to explore.
Go place to go camping and boating and spend time with friends and family
Nice
Friendly, Fun, Beautiful.

A great state park fishing and wildlife viewing are great year round
Keyhole is the best place to be when you need to have time, with family and enjoyment of the site
Suck an awesome beautiful place
So much fun !
Beautiful park and lake. Comfortable cabins . However I do not recommend renting a boat rude staff broken gas gauge on boat .
This place was awesome there were things to climb and the Rangers and staff were so nice!!!
I love keyhole. Even though the beach area is small, everyone is respectful of each other. Marina just keeps getting better.
Einfach, aber traumhafte Natur ringsum. Der See lädt zum Verweilen ein.
Grew up on these waters. I love it here. Anytime of year.
My family and I went to the beach near the Marina. It was a nice time. A little crowded, but nice for a lake beach in Wyoming. The area was clean and there were buoys to keep boats away.
Really nice camping area in this SP. Lots of Pronghorn in the area! I was there in May and woke up to a heavy wet snow fall! In a few hours it was all gone however!
Our biggest issue with this park and apparently all Wyoming state parks is that you have to pay double the rate if you bring in an extra car that is not being towed. If the same extra car is towed behind your RV, it's included in your regular camping fee. Sound confused? We were too, so we asked multiple park employees at two different parks. That is the rule. So, instead of paying $17 a night for water and electric, we ended up paying $34 a night only because our extra vehicle wasn't being towed. They have built showers near the entrance to the Tatanka loop, but they are pay showers which cost 50 cents every 3 minutes. There is a change machine located on the outside of the building. Our site was uneven. It hadn't rained in a long time so it was very dusty. The lake was beautiful! And it was fairly quiet during the week we were there. It is a good ways from things, with a small (limited stock) grocery store about 12 minutes away. Cell signal for AT&T was showing on the map as 4G LTE, but we were lucky to get 2 bars of regular 4G and it was not very reliable especially on the weekend when the campground had more people. We did get to see mule deer, pronghorn antelope and magpies for the first time. We won't stay again and will probably avoid Wyoming State Parks all together unless we end up towing our second vehicle.
Nice state park. They have 7 campgrounds around large lake. Not many amenities. Pit toliet and water but most water handles we're missing. It is a little high prices for me. It is 17 a night for out of state.
Po
Beautiful lake! Well maintained campgrounds!
Went ice fishing and only caught a buzz! A bad day fishing is better than any good day at work!
The water was green but it is a good place to cliff jumping.
Friendly staff eager to help you out.
Great fun lake
Sept 25, 2019. Had site T4 reserved. We pull a 30 Ft 5th wheel. Had to back up a steep hill to get into the site, site also short. We couldn't get in it. Went across the road to site T31, the best site on the lake! Beautiful. Campground green and well kept. An unobstructed view to the lake that is about 100 ft away.
Had a great time camping. Just an amazing experience everytime we go there
Great place to fish and hike.
Always love coming here!
Great place to visit
We'll be back!!
Just a beautiful place
Another awesome Wyoming State Park. Great camping and boating opportunities
Beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors
The absolute worst smelling water I've ever been around!
Cold water swimming!!
Underwhelming reservoir. Water is dirty. We did see some wild turkeys and deer near the camp site.
The perfect stop on our roadtrip on a beautiful Fall day. The Park was filled with thousands of migrating birds, and their concert was unforgettable.
beautiful place.
Beautiful place. Favorite getaway
This is a beautiful area. I am super disappointed in the overflowing trash cans and trash in the area. Tax dollars and the fee to enter the park should take care of this.
Love the golf course. Both bar and grills are nice.. Camping spots are clean.. People are friendly.. Great place to relax
Pretty on the east side of the reservoir, caught Walleye and 36 inch Pike, clean air, lots of mosquitos
Trash strung all over the campsite we showed up to and glass we had to pick up thank got there were no kids or dogs around to step in. Then game and fish just hassling people. Use to be a great place as a kid now over half the places we use to be able to camp we can't.
Map on here sucks take you to a mud road also not mentioned that came ground is small and not a good place unfortunately but you be or own juge
Best State park in Wyoming
Beautiful lake!!
Amazing views
Keyhole is a nice lake close to Moorcroft and Sundance. It is a nice lake to pack a lunch and play in the water. The beach area is rather small, but it is enjoyable. They have many camping areas that look very nice. You can rent boats here as well.
