The facility itself was nice size and space was well used for the event. We had come together as a community to have some bands from out of area even come and contribute but I think it was pretty cheap for all the band's etc be willing to donate and give and volunteer yet the only part of the event that was full price no breaks no way no how was the rental fee for this facility. Really!!? Must not be a vet, nor know or love one?? Hmmmm. I will rent elsewhere in any future needs knowing they chose to charge when could have at least given a partial break. Just sayin

I usually enjoy walking through the park and over the bridge along the river. Today was different because as we walked across the bridge we noticed someone had vandalized the bridge in multiple places. We also noticed that the benches in were also desecrated... It's a shame that even in a small town there's people who ruin what's nice

One of my favorite places to visit in Green River. A beautiful outdoor space for walking along the green belt path, riding bikes, playing in the river, families going to the splash park and playgrounds, having picnics and just hanging out, and attending/hosting events.

We love visiting GR for the river in the summer. The parks are well maintained and fun. We've never had to fight for parking or worry about unruly crowds.

Clean, well-kept. Nicely mowed grass with a paved walking trail. Several historical markers throughout the island to detail the various Green River expeditions that have occurred over time. The path connects to a neat footbridge across the Green River and to the greater paved trail system in the town.

Great place for reuninions or parties. The water was really nice and tons of space to be with family or friends. Lots of tables and a few grills if needed. Good playground for the kids.

Great park you go for a walk, picnic, sit and relax fish and it includes the kayak park, across the bridge they have a splash park for the kids, the pavilion you can rent through the city for events and it has a kitchen area

The park is where Jon Wesley Powell started his expedition through the grand Canyon. It has a Pavillion for use, benches, picnic spaces, restrooms with limited parking spaces and no fees . there is a kayak run built in the river side of the island and a large park adjacent to the north with room for small and large parties.

Nice place for a stroll. There's a little park on the island itself and the walking path follows the river. Nice place for a quick walk or for kids that have an energy spike. Lots of room in the grass for them to run.

very well organized. friendly staff gorgeous venue. more than decent sound system. stage could have used more lighting, but then again...it was 90 degrees outside. emcee was a bit overboard with selling the act's. in other words...overhyped the product.

I attended the River Walk Festival and viewed some incredible artwork. The park is nicely maintained, clean facilities are available and it is easily accessible.

There's a fat weiner dog who comes to this park. He can do 14 tricks, everything from play dead to hop over the leash. 10/10 a good boy. The park is nice, lots of pavilions and an affordable venue for events.

Island Park? I grew up here and it's just Expedition Island...or The Island. ..never heard it called Island Park. Wonderful place though. ..great for a picnic or just take the kids and play. ..there are areas to wade and even a small rapids course for kayaking. Great shade and a paved road to walk laps around the grassy area.

Fun Park for all ages. Has walking paths, swings, a good jungle gym, and the splash pad is awesome. It's also rentable/reservable for larger events if you want.
