Beautiful! Very family friendly--lots of places to explore on both paved and regular trails. Many clean restrooms. Several places to stop and picnic. Large beach surrounding lake. North Platte river flows through. Peaceful and serene.

Love this place super fun clean and perfect for kids!! Only downfall is the occasional** (usually not an issue) loud abnoxious teens with foul launguage if you have small kids or get offended by such and it's big enough that u can move farther for it to not be an issue. But I highly recommend it regardless.

Park was nice. Little more patrols would be good, heavily intoxicated people make kids very uncomfortable. Lots of cactus, so be aware.

I really enjoy this park. It has everything you need for a good family time out in the sun. Water to swim in, a firepit for cooking hot dogs and smores, A volleyball court, and playground equipment for kids. Its the closest thing to a beach we can get. The only thing I wish is that it was free to Wyoming residents. No matter as think its definitely worth it.

This is a great park to bring kids to swim and have fun at the playground. There is also other parts to camp or have cookouts! This area is also known for bird watching and wildlife photography.

It's so much fun there!! They have good swimming, places in the shade to park, and sit. And it's very cheap with few rules. It's a great alternative to Glendo, even though there's no camping.

Excellent multiuse park. Great for all ages. Bird/wildlife watching, fishing, good concrete bicycle/foot paths, swimming pond, ramadas with grills. Just a wonderful, well maintained place!

I was here for the Eclipse and it was amazing. This park is run by Col. Sanders son and he does a damn fine job even if chicken is not involved. The staff is great and even warned us when a nasty storm was approaching. The programs were numerous and informative. The trails were well maintained and the bird watching was wonderful. I had a great time and will never forget the Eclipse. It was well worth the trip. Thanks guys, you did a fine job.

This place is beautiful, clean, great facilities. The staff is great (we had a shelter rental) and easy to work with. The park fee is minimal.

I rented a RV site there for the Eclipse. This is a very nice park will maintained. The pond is nice and cleaned. Things need fixing in some of the bathrooms even more so know that this park was busy with people form the eclipse. I wish that had campground there. It's a great location. And camping would make it an even cooler park. That paths are very nice for walking as well as biking. And the wild life was aboundent. I'd give this park a 5 star if there were camping. And they have the nicest ranger too. If I come through Casper again I'm going to stop and see how park is doing. Hoping to see the progression of this beautiful park.

very surprised by this park! we were looking for fun place to take the kids, stopped in here and wow! has a nice swimming area that is extremely easy to watch children. swimming area is not part of river and it is well maintained.
