We LOVE this dog park! We're from Oregon but always stop here when we travel east. There is a porta potty for the hoomans. Pond is closed in the winter because it freezes.

We always stop here when we drive through. Very impressed with the lay out and cleanliness. Lots of room for pups to run and play. The lake is a nice touch for water loving dogs.

It is a wonderful park. I have brought my dogs there since they were puppies. For locals there is a group of older women who seem to feel that this is their park and seem to feel the need to enforce the rules on their own. I pick up after my dogs daily and also pick up stray poo also from other dogs that other owners have missed. I really don't mind. But these women are mean and rather balligerant. They have put poo on my windshield of my vehicle or by my car so I might step in it. They r stern and aggressive about picking up my dogs poo if I miss it. They are rude and unkind. This ruins the experience of a great park for me. There needs to b an anti-bullying rule added to the list of rules. These women are totally out of line.

The last two times I have taken my dog to this park we come home with cut paws!!! I will no longer be taking my dog here due to this fact! I should not have to worry that my dog will get hurt at the dog park!! Especially not due to the simpleness of the area not even from other dogs. I use to love it but lately it has become a hazard for my dog and that's not okay.

Great dog park with plenty of room for our pups to run around. There's a nice pond with a fountain, a large grassy field and some sand hills to keep your dog occupied for quite a while. All the dogs and owners we've encountered have been very friendly.

It is large and nice. Needs paved walk area for when the lake floods. That way no mud and wheelchairs still get through. Has two areas, one for small dogs and one for large dogs.

In September of this year my dog had drowned at this park. His body was under for 50 hours before I was able to get him.. unfortunately, at that time I was told his body was under too long to do an autopsy and have it be accurate. I had contacted people in the city council and for the park and recreation. Not only did they not let the public know, so other dogs were swimming in the water while his body was at the bottom they also told me that they do not support the idea of flotation devices because that means a human would risk their life for a dog and they dont want that. It's not the parks fault that he had drowned, the vet said it's very likely it was health related but the way they handled things afterwards and the replies to my emails I was not impressed with. I simply asked for a flotation device for in the future so no one would ever have to go through that again. I would have been able to save him if I had a flotation device but I didn't and was fighting for my own life and his when I was trying to save him.

This is by far the best dog park we've, been. Huge area. Well kept grass and grounds. Huge pond for my homie to, wade. Plenty of trash cans spread about so I don't have to carry a bag full of poop all around with me. Sitting areas for owners to chill while the little ones run, around.

Amazing place with something for every dog and the humans who love them. Lots of shade. The lake has a water fountain in the center. There are different types of landscaping with grass, rocks, and dirt paths. Benches are scattered around for you to hang out and watch the action. FYI children under 8 years of age are not allowed. Shout out to Jeff who was so kind and helpful to this visitor from out of town

It's large with plenty of running room. The local people are awesome. Easy access as we are traveling in an 18 wheeler. And the country is breath taking. And wildlife's plentiful Everyone should go if the chance arises

I found this place when I was driving through the state and decided I'd find somewhere to let my dog out so he could stretch his legs for a bit. I was glad I found this place, my dog had fun sniffing around and walking in the shallow parts of the pond.

This is a really nice dog park! I am from Florida so I am used to taking her to the dog beaches. I did not expect to see water and she loved it! There are 2 areas divided. One are is set up around the fountain, and the other side is a spot for those who don't want their dogs getting wet. A gate connects them both if you change your mind though! The dry side has tunnels for them to go through...I like that they have benches as well for humans to relax while they play. They also provide doggie bags. Honestly one of the nicest dog parks I have been to hahah

This place is a little slice of doggie heaven. There's grass, a little lake, several dog/human fountains, trees, rocks, hills, and even a (fake) fire hydrant. There are even benches (some shaded) for humans. It's at the end of the road, just past the animal shelter. Ignore the 'road closed to thru traffic:you aren't going through. Come by and make your dog's day.

been to many dog parks on our trips across America. Honestly this one is the best. Big fountained large man made pond to play in, large area to run around it, grassy area and dirt area with rocks a plenty to climb and pee on. Great new smaller park next to it with tunnels too! Always had great experiences with the other folks here, respectful of playtime and responsible for their dogs as well. There is also a roofed shelter to get away from the sun for us people.

It's a cute park but it's not in the greatest shape. The swimming pond is stagnant and smells atrocious. It was very hard to keep my dog out of the water. I wish they took better care of it.
