A safe and fun playground for all ages and for all needs. The rubber ground is squishy for falls too. You shouldn't leave before saying hello to Babe and Paul too.
It's been a while since we checked out the play equipment here, and we were pleasantly surprised! Kids had a blast, you could easily spend a couple hours there playing
It is an excellent park with an excellent selection of things for your child and you to either do together or by yourselves only problem is the park was designed for children 4 to 11 years old so it's hard for new parents with younger children to find a good activity to do that's not dangerous for a 2 year old or 3 year old and the parents there don't seem to care that there kids are pushing and overall being mean to the younger kids but that's everywhere so 4 stars if it was for all ages 5 stars all day and don't forget to go for a walk excellent trails and a stream you can explore plus a base ball stadium right next to park you can also explore to an extent
Fun place to run, walk. or even catch one of the Eau Claire Express baseball games !
What an amazing park. Looking for a place to have a nice picnic while on a road trip we found Carson Park. The playground was fantastic and had so much to offer. Many big and little slides, a Zipline, a rocking boat,a see saw, and so many climbing structures. Highly recommend!
My 2 yr old loved all the fun new equipment as did we! Nice rubber padding under smaller kids playground. Wheelchair accessible areas and they still have the big long slides!!!! Great place to take the whole family!
Lots 2 do here! Walking, Lots of Pokemon spinners/gyms if that's your thing, play ground for the littlest people in your family! All around beautiful area!
Love the play area for kids.. it even has a little zip line for kids. This is a great family park.
Carson Park was very nice. I was there for my cousin’s daughter’s birthday. Lots of older trees and newer play equipment.
Best outdoor playground in eau claire
Good, it was fun and food was good.
Love this park very peaceful
I've always loved Carson Park. Now, with their new equipment, I love it even more. I went there as a child, and now I am bringing my children.
Great place to walk, let the kids play, watch a game.
Lots of fond memories through the years at this park. So many neat things going on within this park. Eau Claire has a lot of nice ones and this is one of my favorites.
Very scenic Park definitely a place to take family for a day picnic.
Great improvement 's on the kids toys!
Well kept up park - nice and clean and taken care of!
I really do enjoy this park but it gets way too hot. New rubber that's for safety feels about 20 degrees hotter than the wood chip areas. Slides also get burning hot. Go early, before 10am.
Fun and sports are here for everyone.
Great park with amazing playground!
Beautiful scenery and nice park for children.
Nice park. Good place for finding Pokemon!

Wow has it changed. The park is so first class. My son who is in a wheelchair loved that he could play on a lot. So handicap friendly. Wish we lived closer. Also so much nature to see and history.
I can't wait to go back to this park! I live 2 hours away but the next time I'm in Eau Claire I'll definitely be stopping here again. I only went to the playground but I know this park offers much more. The playground is large and has numerous, new and unique climbing structures. Handicap swings and other play equipment. My kids loved it!
Had a blast with my little dude. Only thing that could make it any better would be to fence in the toddler area a bit. Not that watching your child should be an issue. It would just be nice not to have to worry so much.
A nice place to relax that I don't have to drive far to get there.
I really enjoy kayaking there.
Is a great palce to hangout and watch a baseball game or play i the park. Me and my son where there for stuff a bus. I work for Student transit.

Possibly the best park over ever been too! It's huge!
Beautiful scenery, sometimes hard to enjoy as there is a stadium on the grounds. Screaming people in the background can definitely kill a vibe.
Love the playground here. It's the best one in town! Great deer watching. Love all the pokestops! Haha

The large handicapped accessable playground is a great place to take any kid of any age. There is something for everyone. With nearby picnic areas, you can make an afternoon of it. Throw in a baseball game with the Cavaliers or Express and you can have a full day of fun and entertainment.

Nice and interactive park for children
Nice park, great home to Express baseball!
Great place to watch baseball, lots of history
A lot of people, but nice for an inner city park
Not enough parking for 4th of July events so the Eau Claire police decided to hand out parking tickets like candy at a parade instead of recognizing the situation and just give warnings.
Very family friendly Great for taking in a ball game, picnic or even wetting a line
Best playground in the city. Nice place for a walk or bike too. Lots of facilities and pavilions which you can reserve on the Eau Claire city website.
A beautiful park. We went to the Shrine Circus. It got cold and rainy so because of weather the circus was cut short. What acts that happened were good. People all very professional and nice. Definitely would go again. We also plan to take in a baseball game or .... there. Parking is good. Easy access to everything.
Went on Memorial Day weekend and it was busier than usual according to Google, but there were still parking spaces available. The bathroom was fine. Running water (not pit toilets). A short walk by the water under the cool pines was just what I needed in the middle of a busy day.
Love this place! Great for a fun day of relaxing on the kayak in the middle of the lake
The upper play ground is just what parents what a nice clean and safe play ground.
Beautiful scenery with a ton of history!
Was very beautiful nd relaxing...

It's a nice little park. Some trails to walk and bike
Carson Park is always beautifully serene, clean and well kept. Halfmoon Lake is beautiful, and easily accessible from several points of the park. There are tall trees, playgrounds, and of course Carson Ballpark - which has baseball games, kickball tournaments, and much more. If you're looking for a sporting event to attend, or even just a small escape from crazy city life, this is the place for you!
A must for the kids during the summer
It's beautiful and always boppin'. One thing I think could be better is the continuity of the wifi. Otherwise no complaints buds.
Awesome time at our first Express game
Lots of room and activities for the family, including geocaching.
Very nice playground for the kids to run around in lots more equipment and various types that accommodate all age groups
This guy Zach gave us a tour at the express game it was so awesome and my son is a all star of the game thanks you I had alot of fun
Lots of open space & trees. Great trails. Wonderful playground. Great views of the city.
A beautiful waterside park filled with old growth trees, trails, ballfields and playgrounds
Me and my boyfriend enjoyed all the toys... Even though we had a hard time being our age. Lol love when the kids look at us like we are too old to play on the toys...
This park has one of the best playgrounds we have ever visited.
Amazing new playground!! My kids absolutely love the zip line!!
It was great. We found a Caterpillar and brought it home in the car with us! Lol
Loved the game, GO REGIS
Very nice, kids loved it! Bathrooms could use some work though.
Peaceful views of the water, biking trails, playground, historical museums, and more!
Make sure you go before noon! There is no shade on the playground!
Really nice place to bring grand kids
Well kept even tho it is an old stadium
I love going to Eau Claire Express games at Carson Park. With the exception of 4th of July, parking is easy and plentiful. Tickets are very reasonably priced, as are concessions.
Beautiful setting for walks, picnics, play areas, local history and local sports teams.
Beautiful park surrounded by Half Moon lake. Lots of picnic tables and playground equipment for children.
This is one of my favorite parks in the city. The playground is a fun place for kids of all ages (including my 40 year old self), there is a ton of open space to play catch, frisbee, or whatever, and there are lots of grills and picnic tables. It's also pretty easy for my family to get there on our bikes. Bonus.
Lots of fun with a nearby bathroom.
Carson Park is awesome! Not only is there new toys for the kids to play on, there are fishing docks and cliffs. Carson park plays host to many college football games on its football field and AA and AAA baseball games on its baseball field. The 4th of July fireworks are also set off from here! It plays host to many events like Relay for life. Check it out! You won't regret it.
It is a fun place to watch a baseball game
Nice hang out to catch a few fish.. decent bass population, good place to take the kayaks out and chill on some water right in town.
Beautiful spot inside of the city
It was a bit crowded, but that's because it has such fantastic play equipment. We can always find a great spot for a picnic!!
The park is AWESOME something for every age!
Best kids playground ever. Our grandkids love when we take them and we miss the park when the grandkids aren't around.
Fun place to throw a party!!! Playground nearby. Lake to fish at.
LOVE all the inclusive races that are able to be held at Carson Park!
I'm from southwest wisconsin and remember coming to Eau Claire to visit my aunt and going to play at this park as a child. Very nice park!
Went kayaking on Half Moon Lake at Carson Park. Hard to believe you are in the middle of Eau Claire. Very peaceful place to go if you just want to leisurely paddle around for a couple hours. I don't fish, but it seems to be a popular spot for it.
Was in the new part for the kids just beautiful
Circus was awesome. Tay and I had a gr8 time
Beautiful park with a statue oh Henry Aaron.
Beautiful park in the middle of a vibrant city. Get walking trails, play areas and historic baseball stadium.
Love this place, so much to do. Went off teail and had a 10 minute discussion about philosophy with a very polite deer. 10 out of 10. Would recommend.
Beautiful park, lots of picnic tables, pavilions, home of the Express and Cavaliers baseball teams with a fantastic stadium. This is where Hank Aaron got started for his baseball career.
Really cool Park you might call it a national forest preserve is huge and lots of deer and other animals. Every now and then you might get to see a fox. If you like to feed ducks if you enter from Water Street make your first left and go to the boat landing. There is always like a hundred Ducks there but remember bread is not good for them, bird feed, craced corn and peanuts they really like. There's also a really cool secluded Chill Spot up by the train tracks if you have kids during the summer they can get on a little small train that takes you all through Carson Park. Plus the water is good to swim in. Also watch for the hiking trails.
Beautiful park. Lots of foliage , trres and nice 2alk.
Great place to take kids and to get together with friends and grill out!
The Paul Bunyan Camp wasn't open. I will have to go back. Looked like a great place to take kids.
Love the new updated play ground.
Went to the Express game. Had a wonderful time!
I'm a huge fan of Carson Park. One of their main fishing areas always kept getting taken up and it was the easiest access for a person with a handicap. They finally built a new bridge. Not only is it even more accessible but it has more spots to fish. In addition, Carson Park puts on a lot of great events even for elderly or people with disabilities.
Big an open with lots to do. Recommend hanging eith friends here!
A beautiful park with that offers so many different things. Huge playground for kids, or take a train ride on Sundays! Go fishing. Watch the ducks. Check out an Express game.
It has tons of things to do for the whole family
Great park with lots of play options for all abilities
Really awesome new playground. Great fun for the whole family.
Had a blast at festival of the pines and seeing all the muscle cars and good food
A lot of trash around but also plentiful wildlife!
Live the park. Grew up fishing there. Great memories.
First Time out! Was a lot of fun!
Easy like Sunday morning.
A great place to take the kiddos!!
If you are looking for a quick nature fix, then this is the place to go. Sitting on a bench next to Half Moon Lake is a nice way to calm nerves. During the summer months you definitely don't want to miss an Express baseball game. Paul Bunyan, Babe the blue ox and Chippewa Valley museums are also tucked away within the park - great for history buffs! There's more things to explore and do!
Love Carson Park! I have spent countless hours here!
Stopped for lunch on my road trip across Wisconsin. It's an amazing park and playground and is only about 7 minutes off I-94 .
Clean and nice park needs more restrooms or and up dated one near the play ground.
This is a very good park. There is a football stadium right next to it, and is surrounded by a forest. The park playground is made out of metal, so it will be hot in warm temperatures. And has LOTS of bugs in the summer. Fall is probrally the best place to go here, winter to.
Fishing not as good of a place as it used to but nice place to hang out.
Ever changing! Love you share the history of this beautiful town we live in
Loved watching the Cavaliers play at the historic ballpark.
Went for a graduation party. Nice clean park. Many activities like music and baseball games.
Fantastic trails, scenic roads, and accessible fishing at Braun's Bay.
The playground was recently replaced and is very kid friendly.
