If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came here years and years ago and it was safe and fun. Now? It's dangerous and overpriced. 87 dollars just to walk through the door for Myself, my mother and my 8 year old daughter, doesn't come with any special perks etc. Just to walk through the door! Then to find out you have to add money to the cards they give you too do literally anything in the building. I spent another 50 to play games with my family, NON and I mean NON of the machines/games gave us tickets. We were suppose to have over 100 tickets and we didn't get a single one. I spent over $10 and the machines / games took the money and didn't work. I couldn't find any staff to help with any of the questions my family and I had. Once being extremely disappointed with the small, broken boring arcade aspect we tried bumper cars, which we had to wait 15 minutes for a staff member to finally open them up for the line of people waiting to use it. To top off the so far only 30 minute experience (we had to pay for 3 hours ) we tried the go karts. There was no information on the speed the man was swiping all the cards for the same selection which said single. I wasn't aware that the carts would go so fast as you start they go at a slower still fun speed, once they went fast my daughter slammed into the rail because her breaks did not work, HER BREAKS DID NOT WORK. I immediately pulled over to check on her and then was rear ended and ended up going to the hospital afterwards and suffered from mild wiplash, my daughter was also hospitalized. The staff was clueless and quiet through everything, it's no wonder they make you sign waivers. I will never return and I genuinely hope the place gets shut down. As a parent I am strongly advising you avoid this place. There are so many other safe fun locations to go.

Go karts, rock wall, laser tag, laser maze, arcade games, and trampolines. My girls had a blast we only played for three hours but easily could have played for three more. However for sensory sensitive people it may be better to go on a slower day and have access to noise cancelling headphones. They also have a variety of concessions. Its family friendly. Oh and bring your trampoline socks- or you will need to buy a pair but they are only $2.00.

I went there with my 17 year old son! We had a blast! So nice to know there is a fun place to go for kids, that will keep them entertained and out of trouble! I would recommend this for anybody!

We always go here as a family! This is our place for family nights if it is nasty outside! The facilities are always clean. The staff is always friendly and all go out of their way for you.

There are tons of things to do, but unfortunately the majority of the arcade games require extra money to play (which was disappointing considering the cost of admission). It is definitely a one-of-a-kind place in our area, though, and a HUGE hit with the kiddos!

Wednesday wristbands is definitely the way to go! For $17 you get 3 hours of unlimited Action City and trampoline park. With a few exceptions, such as redemption arcade games. The kids had a great time they expecially liked the VR and laser tag. This is a great deal in itself as usually laser tag & VR games each cost about $7 to $10 per person. The kids weren't extremely impressed by the trampoline park, but in Action City's defense they have been to some pretty nice ones and may have been spoiled by it. I thought it looked pretty fun though!! If you already have trampoline socks don't forget to bring them, as they will be $3 a pair and are mandatory. They have food right on site which was really great for us, as it was starting to get late. We got a 17in one-topping pizza for about $18. Not a huge steal, but the pizza was good. I have the boys bring their own water bottles as they only sell sodas for $2.99. They're bottomless sodas and can be refilled as much as you want. However, it was a school night and three teenage boys don't need that much soda! lol Altogether I dropped about $80, for 3 hours at Action City, including food. not my first choice of how to spend $80, but the kids had fun and it was for my son's birthday. I didn't check into it, but they have deals on actual birthday parties.

Kids had a blast at the Action City birthday party, they were able to book us in last minute Venessa was very helpful and accommodating over the phone and Gracie was an awesome host overall GREAT staff. Only minor hiccup our pizza order was wrong but they were quick to f ix it and bring us a new one. Thx will recommend for sure

Labor Day! Had a blast! Our family's first time in the building, we loved it, staff was aware of all areas and made sure safety was followed. Some kids obviously spend more time there than others but all was fun, Arcade could be a little different.

Went there for mini golf. Course looks like they don't care about it anymore. Water on the course, and filled a hole. Bricks that they used for the borders are falling off. Kid tripped over one.

It is an ok destination for kids. If they like trampolines they have tons of them. They had an issue with the games where you can play unlimited but not get tickets. My kids didn't care for that and when we did get tickets the front desk seemed completely flustered.

Kind of expensive but, my son loves it, had a blast. There is a good variety of things to do. There is a trampoline park, video games, go karts, and small water park. Easily can make a day of it and we'll have fun the whole day

This place had something for everyone. Go carts, tampoline, arcade and so much more! It was a lot of fun. This is a place you will wanna stay all weekend because there is too much stuff you can't do it all in one day.

Trampoline park is great if you like bouncing around and that's it. Lots of stupid rules (i.e. no gainers, no dubs, etc). If we sign a waiver and want to practice new tricks we should have more freedom for that. I get enforcing it for kids but when college students come in we shouldn't be treated like 3 year olds when we start throwing tricks.

Go karts we’re not open and they said they would open them. Hours later until they closed they did not open them. Ruined my friends birthday. Staff was not cooperative and they were very mean.

Had a really good time playing arcade games here. Pricing seemed decent and there were a lot of options. Will come back with my kids sometime soon. Lots of parking and it wasn't that busy on a Saturday morning during the summer.

Brought my 5 year old son and my 7 year old brother in law for my son's birthday. Had such a blast I didn't even take pictures... Not one! Great food, great staff, amazing service, so much to do... We easily could've spent days there. Waterpark leaves something to be desired but if you're going for action city and the trampolines, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

We've been going here for years but yesterday was very unpleasant 20 minute line to order food, 20-25 minute wait to get the food? Prices of games has been increasing and the service is getting worse. This is pretty much the only place in eau Claire of its kind but I think I will be finding new ways to entertain the kids

My husband and I have been going here for years, each time worse than the time before. Last night was the last straw...we will likely not go back. Paid $50. Tries mini bowling. It was broke. Moved to ski ball. It was broke too. Went to shoot baskets. The score board was broke. Tried to play 2 person big buck Hunter. One of the guns didn't work. Pac man - the joystick sucked. Lastly, went to the batting cages and, shocker, it was down. We went back to the front desk and got our money back. The kid didn't even put up a fight. I'm guessing this is a common occurrence for them. They really need to do better maintenance on their games and maybe hire people over the age of 16...just a suggestion.

Took my students there for a summer trip and we waited over 15 minutes outside for the Go-cart. The lady at the front desk was not helpful at all. I asked her if she can find a staff to come out and assist us because we've already pressed the "help" button for the past few minutes. She said she was going to call for a staff through the walkie talkie. When I walked away, I looked back and saw that she totally ignored my request and proceeded to touch her phone. When we left, a staff FINALLY came but it was already too late because we wasted the last 20 minutes of our time waiting.

Action City is a lot of fun. There are lots of activities to do. It is expensive but I feel like it's worth it to go every once in a while, especially in the winter when it isn't nice enough to do much outside.

Fun, but EXPENSIVE!! My child with cerebral palsy was able to enjoy being bounced for a long time - it's so large we didn't get overrun with kids! Lots of neat activity centers that my able kiddos enjoyed climbing and jumping around. Great active family outing!

Loved the indoor go carts and the virtual reality. Decent pricing deals, but majority of the arcade games are not playable unless you add money to your play card, which can definitely add up. Was also disappointing how only one person can use the card at a time. If you want to play the same game with your buddies you need separate cards with money. One card cannot be used for more than one person. As for the trampoline park, seemed pretty standard to me. Everything was well kept, but make sure to bring water or something to stay hydrated... you'll get hot really fast since there's really no ventilation or fans

The Trampoline Park. It is a really nice and fun place but the only downside is there is no room for people to work on tumbling skills. The only place with a long enough trampoline is in dodgeball and no one wants to get hit while they are trying to work on their skills.

If you haven't brought your kids here, what are you waiting for? This is honestly such a fun place to go with your family you just don't even know until you go. And before you go there often running different specials and have coupons or buy one get one specials all sorts of different things going on regularly to save you money. We are family of 4 and every time we've gone there's always been some type of a deal where you buy one or buy one get one or whatever. Their zipline ride is so fun, and so is there virtual reality game everything there is super fun actually. And with chaos right next door, you literally can walk through a hallway you don't even have to go outside and you can go to the water park the setup is a great user-friendly and nothing but smiles :-)

This is a great place for family fun! Lots to do for kids of all ages. If you are staying at Metropolis Resort, the stay and play package is the way to go! You get credit for Action City and you get to use the water park for your check in day as well as your departure day. Action city has a trampoline park that you pay separately for and an arcade with bumper cars, laser tag, mini bowling, arcade games, go carts, and more. There’s something for all ages.

In all honesty I loved action city growing up! I mean who dosnt love playing games right?! My boyfriend and I decided to go for new years eve to play the fun games we remembered and were so disappointed in how poorly maintained everything was. I would be being generous if I said one fourth of the games worked. Every time we got ready to play a game we would find out the score bored dosnt work, the gun was broken, the bowling lanes were out of order. We even raced the go karts and some were slower than others or broken... I'm sad to say that I never plan to go back.

The trampoline park was a HUGE hit with our toddlers. They absolutely loved it. I enjoyed my time there as well, lots of different areas to jump as well as a kids playground area. Will definitely be going back at some point. Only concern is it does seem like an injury waiting to happen. Between the "trampolines" the landing area is hard and doesn't have any give to it. If you come down wrong you'll probably injure yourself.

When we got there we weren't sure how the pricing worked, the girl at the counter was rude, when the kids went to rock climb the person there didnt explain the different difficulty levels so my 9yr old struggled up the hardest climb. When they did the virtual reality the person there didnt help them adjust the headsets or explain how to, we went over by the eatery and the person behind the counter was sneezing all over her hands and then touching everything! The laser tag get up my son wore didnt work correctly so he lost out on being able to play with our group by the time it was replaced we were done. Then we went to the bumper cars and my sons didnt move so they sent him to another one which also didnt work. Then I had to demand a refund of the $5 (which is a total ripoff) and got more attitude from the girl at the front desk to get money put back on his card. Everyone there was terrible and half of the equipment was defective and I felt like I was financially grabbing my ankles the whole time.

There's a variety of a activities, my children like the Climbing Wall, Electric Go Carts, and Laser Tag. The staff is friendly, sometimes you do have to look for them though. We go once a year, and will continue doing so. The Metropolis Water Park isn't very fun for older children.
