This is quite beautiful!!! A site to see for sure...moonshiner in mountain cave you see when on tram was tacky though. Scenery is enough don't need to add anything to it.

Exhilarating sky team ride down the mountain and back up. Fantastic views, peaceful setting and great gift shop. There is also a great dining restaurant on site as well.

Spectacular view, take about five minutes to get you down to the river. There are rooms available for guests to stay for night and a small restaurant with limited options for lunch and dinner. You get free ticket for ride after spending $10. Food is good and prices are normal. You can stay for a while to enjoy the river and/or go for hiking in the jungle. Staff are nice and the ride is really joyful.

We go there every year for family reunions lot of fun activities for the kids at nature Center and a lot of fun facts Out Door activities, we play frisbee golf there, play golf , go down to a small Lake do kayaks ,stand-up boards and swimming areas inflatables, early in the morning and late in the evenings look for deer, standing Lookout points into the mountains, whole lot walking trails, we spend a week there at the cottage, indoor swimming pool and out door swimming area, nice cool mornings do not get very hot in the mountains and beautiful scenery in the winter

Nice gondola ride down to the restaurant. Hamburger was excellent. The french fries are amazing. Best of all the ride was free if you eat at the restaurant.

Pipestem is the best. From the fine dining, to the golf course, to the lake and soon to open splash pad, to the incredible views from many a lookout, to the horses for rent, to the awesome visuals provided by riding the tram, it is hard to beat a day at this state park. Bring the kids, for they have several playgrounds and paddle boats down at the lake. I love Pipestem State Park.

Love this place, grew up here and spent many years exploring this park. The restaurant at the bottom of the tram is a waste of money, unless you particularly want to "enjoy the park experience". Otherwise, just leave the park from the front gate and go right across the road. There are 2 restaurants that far surpass anything in the park. Brandon's BBQ and The Oak Supper Club. Both are phenomenal, for the area.

(Mc Keever Lodge) has beautiful and comfortable suites, many with private bedrooms, a first class dining room, excellent staff as in all, private areas to relax, indoor heated pool, convenience store, Excellent Golfing with Pro, Fully Functional Equestrian Center, Archery and Nature Tours by Park Rangers, You will see Deer and other wildlife everywhere every day. The Park was built by President Kennedy because of its unique features and grandeur. The best time to visit is today.

Amazing. Beautiful. If I had the guts we would have rode the tram, but i'm deathly afraid of heights. The wildlife is amazing too. So friendly. It's crazy to call wildlife friendly. My complaint. The roads are deathdefying curvy steep, scary as heck for a tourist. I think locals got mad at me going 35 ...in a 40 but I was afraid I was going to fall off the side of the mountain driving
