This Park belongs to the category of State park.
Beautiful park with a great trail.
This one is a great party
So much fun the grass is watered so I was able to play soccer, throw the frisbee, or just lay out on a towel. The campsites where well taken care of and clean.
Fun place if you want to camp you should reserve it in the winter
I just went to sit in the sun. It's clean and very well maintained. Doesn't appear to be any shade for camping, but that's not surprising in this location.
Always love camping here. Just disappointed that it is so difficult to get in. . .
Great camping and views.
Security guards are a little extreme to say the least, watch out
Beautiful rivers, decent weather, nice hikes n bikes.
Its a nice place for all sports and rec. Also great place for camping also has a boat launch
The majestic views you get in this place are just wonderful!
Super clean and quiet at night. Great shower facilities. One * off for so much local nighttime illumination.
This park is so pretty. You can walk and walk or bike. Pretty all the way. I enjoyed it very much. Clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were all over the place. People swimming. Just nice. Not far there are restaurants and gelato place and beer place. Fun to visit.
Very serene atmosphere. Nice play area. Good picnic shelters. Ample parking & rest areas. Its a confluence of amenities in the park. Must see if you stay in wenatchee. The loop trial is good if you have some time to relax & spend on the park.
The campground was full but they let us park for the night in the boat ramp area by the river for $25.00. Almost better than the campground!
Dogs love it here!
Love running/walking along the Apple Capitol Loop trail through this park!
For boating, camping or just hanging out, this is a great spot- especially for kids on hot days to swim in the river in a shallow area with other kids. Many geese also call this spot home as well as other waterfowl and it abounds with birdwatching and photographic opportunities, especially with the adjacent nature area across the walking bridge. You can also do a 10 mile loop around the river from your camp site on nice paved trails.
Nice walking park
The campground was a little weird. I'm assuming that it is mainly for RVs. We did pull in and took a nice hot shower. There was just a strange vibe to the place. We decided not to stay.
We love to camp here. A great trail to bike ride on. The Apple Loop Trail.
Love the art walk and delicous pizza at the end of the walk!
Nice state park but the campground seems a bit tired.
Beautiful park.
We love this park. GREAT place for kids. Extremely well maintained, and nice camp sites. Very close to shopping, but you still feel like your out camping.
Super clean and safe. Fun for the kids
Beautiful area. Loop for walking, jogging and biking. Spans 10 miles! Playground for kids, fire pits for family BBQ and other fun activities such as, basketball, tennis, volleyball and soccer.
Great park
Seanic and we'll kept never bathrooms clean. Great place for a picnic or family outing.
Great park with fun clean swimming area a playground that my kids love and it's never very populated
Gorgeous!
Beautiful State Park with river access, boat launch, camping, shady trees, tons of grass and toys for the kids and is part of the Wenatchee Valley Loop Trail. Parking and camping require Discover Pass (strictly enforced).
Spending labor day here what a nice park. Paved spots lush grass and super clean. You do need reservation in advance.
Beautiful park. Friendly employees. They have camping and showers. Have been there a couple times.
Center location between apple valley loop trail, close to bird sanctuary, clean, well maintained, camping spaces, lots parking, picnic areas & restrooms
The RV spots are well spaced out, very clean and convenient to places of interests.
Nice camping and day use park. Would recommend they add a off leash area..... near park entrance off to the left, appears to have adequate space. Idea, would recommend something similar to Wenatchee public off leash park in the south end of the city, but larger scales.
Beautifully kept campgrounds! 50 amp, water and sewer hookups! Be sure to make reservations!!! Very popular campgrounds!
Loving all the little pop up parks along the way
Very clean but if you're looking for quite you're in the wrong place. Lots of frogs and train noice at night.
Great boat launch, nice place to picnic
Well kept nice park
We stayed here for 12 days. The park was nice well kept. It's in a good location by the Columbia river. The restrooms were clean the campsites very nice. The rangers pleasant, helpful and easy to contact if you had questions.
We have visited this park every year for a few years now. It is absolutely beautiful. Very well kept. The grass is always green, the grounds and restrooms very clean, and the staff so friendly. There are 2 playgrounds, a swimming area, boat launch with 2 lanes and tons of parking, as well as horseshoe pits, volley ball net, tennis courts, basketball courts, large gazebos, public bbq's, and bike trails. The rv park is always full, but never feels crowded.
Spacious sites, lots of extra green space, healthy grass (not too short), many pine trees and maples. Fabulous, easy nature walks. Playground for young children. Friendly staff. Our third visit here. Will come again. Quick twenty-mile drive to Leavenworth. Loads of outdoor recreation options nearby.
It's a nice walk away from the traffic. Metro phone service not so great
Love the park. On the river..boat launch...swimming area lots if grass and nature trees. Lots of bike trails.
Clean! Lots of space, great bike trails
It's beautiful out there
This is our hi to retreat when in the area
Beautiful spacious park.
This park is beautiful with all of the mature trees. Lots of families, a great place to ride bicycles, and over night camp.
A charming, well thought-out and very clean RV park. We can't wait to go back.
Awesome place.
Great park, great facilities and hookups, close to everything if you are wanting to be close to town. Quiet. Easy access, and easy to find. Very well maintained grounds as well as clean bathrooms.
I'm a local guy, been to the park several times in my 33 years in the valley. Stayed here for the first time as an adult. Very exceptional staff, the two park rangers I've delt with, were very professional. I would definitely recommend this park to anyone passing through, or for a weekend destination. The park fills very quickly during the busy month, so plan ahead!
Great park lots of parking space
Awesome place to see deer, pheasant, osprey, and other animals. Our favorite place to walk.
Most awesome clean connect to mother nature , , air fresh and nice , , very healthy
This is a fabulous park... VERY well kept up... Beautiful, spacious, clean, great bike trails, swimming, excellent public market nearby (Pybus), dog park nearby.
I got a $200 dollar ticket for going the wrong way they said, there's no markinhs,or signs,by 3 park rangers that had nothing to do then Everytime I left 2 of them were over at my RV hitting on my wife,,,,,were never going back!
Showers and bathroom were spotless. Great views by the water :)
Very nice state park. Full hookups in some areas. A little spendy, $40 a night with everything. Close to downtown and dining. Swimming and boat launch.
They should have told us there was 24 hour road construction right next to it. We didn't get any sleep at all. We stayed the second night only because we already paid for it and they wouldn't refund the money.
Love the park my family and I have been camping there annually for 20 plus years I look forward to coming back every year. Best maintained park I have ever stayed at. Beautiful views and very close to many fun activities for the family
Nice scenery for a walk a jog a walk with your dog or a pi inic
Not a bad park enjoy the nature trail and the little peninsula
Great park! Spacious campsites with full hookups. Nice beach area, play area, tennis courts and play field.
The staff bent over backward to get me in when the campground was full.
BEAUTIFUL
This park has huge open fields to run around on.Watch out for goose poop. Lots of space between the rv sites. The public bathroom was very clean.
Super fun campground. Great for kids. Lots of grass. Great for riding bikes. Good swim area.
Nicely groomed and maintained park near downtown Wenatchee. I lacks trees in my opinion but beautiful all the same.
Visited family who was camping. Was enjoyable evening
Clean bathrooms, well maintained grounds with very happy employees
Beautiful park. Washington State needs to offer a senior discount though. Being retired, this a bit spendy for my wallet.
Helpful staff, great location, well maintained
This is a tricky park to find. It is located in the city of Wenatchee on the Columbia River. You must make several turns in an industrial area and some of the turns are not marked with signs. Google Maps did a good job getting us to this park. The park has green grass and big shade trees. Nice size spaces with full hookup but no privacy. We self registered and did not see any park staff during our stay. Play ground located in the campground as well as in the day use area. The Huron Nature area is next door to the park and there is a trail and bridge connecting it to the campground area. Lots of lookouts with benches for bird viewing along trail from campground to beach area. It is a bit of a walk to get to the beach. The park and beach were clean and there are paved trails. We did not hear traffic from the campground. It was quiet and peaceful.
Easy in freinly
Great place for camping. Great swimming area and lots of toys and yard for playing.
The eagles are starting to make a come back. A beautiful area to walk and enjoy the outdoors. Not a difficult walk. No bikes, just a place to enjoy and look for animals and peace.
It looks like a nice place. There's a fee for the recreation part, and we had our pups. So, we didn't explore much. Very pretty.
I was born & raised in wenatchee but now live in Montana we come back every summer to bring my kiddos to see their great grandfather & all the beautiful fruit, tress, & orchards that the area has. The water was really high during our visit but it made no difference to us. We enjoyed watching the boats load at the ramp and the playground. It was very clean not really any trash laying around plenty of picnic tables & there is bathrooms near the play area.
Favorite place
One of the best parks we've stayed at.
Very well kept park and full service RV spaces with shade trees and plenty of room between sites. Staying for one night and very happy with our spot here.
Clean park with wide spaces. Dump station is tight maneuvering for a large rig.
Close to home and beautiful riverside
The park has eight standard campsites, 52 full-hookup sites, one dump station, six restrooms (all ADA) and 16 showers (eight ADA). Maximum site length is 65 feet (limited availability). All sites have a picnic table and campfire grill. Individual campsites are reservable from April 1 - September 30. Check-in time is 2:30 p.m. Check-out time is 1 p.m.
A great State Park to camp . We did have a couple of days of rain, but that is not the fault of the park.
Well maintained, grassy lawned park. Lots of wildlife and relatively quiet in the shoulder season.
Day area is beautiful! Gorgeous views. Lots of trees for shade. Campground is nice but the spots are little close together.
It's a nice park
Great place to bring your family
Nice park, but you get kicked out just for having lunch in your car.
Nice place
Very clean well-maintained park with good facilities and full services.
Great place.
Always a delight to stay st the states finest park.
Spacious, super clean park with many amenities!!!
It is a very nice place to stay
A treat to this refuge right in the city. Lovely, most level paved trail, perfect for walking or cycling.
This park could be a second home. Camp sight was spotless. Park staff takes pride in their park. Only downside was the lawn could have been mowed for the weekend.
Very quiet and peaceful setting... Lots of grassy areas.
We stayed here at a group site for our family reunion.. the site was nice. But I feel it was way overpriced for what we got. And the gaurds were RUDE and awful. One tried to my 75 year old aunt walk across the park to us.. and then refused to let another family member In. What did we pay 450 for.. the gourds were nice but the people made the stay un welcoming.
Beautiful, serene.
Great place to stay
Very relaxing peaceful and pretty
Well maintained facilities, great park. Camping, picnic...
Large campsites many with good shade. Lush large lawn areas watered M-F. Downside is only 30 amp. Love the wildlife - deer and birds. Mulberry trees have yummy berries. Fun to watch birds eat on them as well
Again a peaceful scenic spot to go walk, sit and have lunch, or dinner. Play park for kids and nearby bathrooms and of course the Hreat Columbia River. Even h AZ s swimming and I believe launching.
A very nice place
We usually go to the Agility Trial held here in October. Lots of fun.
A really nice park, close to town, with easy access from a biking/walking path. Great bike rides from here, either easy ones along the river, or a bit more climbing up the valleys. The park itself is nicely maintained and spacious.
Organized efficient friendly competent qualified and professional
My husband and I frequently park here to access the loop trail. We love to bicycle and this is a great place to start. Great park to camp in and there is a great playground for the kids. A nice roped off swimming area also. Something for almost everyone.
Very nice campground. I particularly like having a site that I could pull through. Lots of space between sites so you have privacy.
Very beautiful and extremly well maintained park. You can do a lot of water activities there. We just happened to stop by to have lunch with family. Good place to get some sun tan and picnicking. You need discover pass for parking. People interested in bird photography must take a look at this place. I photographed few. Washrooms are okay. There are lots of tables around.
Awesome park for parties, kids, & family picnics
Great place near town to camp!
Very clean. And a nice place to swim
There's nothing to hate about that place
The park campgrounds were very nice and well maintained. We went there to ride our jet skis and quickly realized it was not a very good place to go jet skiing. The boat launch slopes down at such an angle that your not able to see your boat making it really hard to back up. And once you launch there is nowhere to tie your boat up when your parking your truck and trailer.
It was a fun place to do a little camp. Hsd lots of fun hanging out with friends there and hot some nice pic for it too
Beautiful, clean. Connects to the Apple valley 10 mile loop, close to Leavenworth, ohme garden & north end of Wenatchee!!
Fun, clean and perfect for family day out! Camping too!
Mean staff, rangers who harass children, degenerate bigotry. Do not under any circumstances bother with this concrete jungle of a "park" unless you want to pay for a terrible experience.
Very nice park. Had playground, swimming in the lake, trails, and very beautiful scenery.
Awesome place to stay right in heart of Wenatchee. Close enough to Leavenworth and groceries.
On the river, but behind an industrial park. The showers only except tokens. Not sure why they have it setup for tokens instead of quarters. You can't setup a tent on the grass, if you are camping. The grass is green in the camping area, but not in the day use area (doesn't really matter to me if a park has green grass, just that it is in one area and not the other). Has a tennis court. Overall, an okay park, but nothing special.
Great park/camp ground. Really liked it. Will definitely come there again. It's free if you have a discovery pass. But that's only for the park.
We held our family reunion at the park and it was great.
Huge state park with alot for the whole family to enjoy from big toys for kids and tennis courts and cover bbq area and RV and campground on site. Located right on the Columbia River to go swimming.
Came here as part of a large company camp out event. We had one of the two group sites and it was excellent. Close enough to the group restroom & shower complex to make it really convenient without listening to flushing toilets all night. Group site #2 had a nice large grassy area with decent shade trees to pitch tents. Power outlets in the group picnic shelter, a large portable charcoal grill, firepit, water spigots, and we had the group site parking area all to ourselves so folks could bring RVs and boats. It was a quick walk to the wonderful swimming beach and a play area was located close by (but no shade so beware of hot play equipment.) Wonderful time here and the weather was incredible.
I love going camping here every year with my family and a fun river to swim in.
Best State Park so chill and relax, and the showers are awesome
Great park for birdwatching or morning walks. Peaceful place.
Beautiful place
We enjoyed this park when we lived there and still go when we visit family. Clean restrooms, water access, playgrounds, tennis courts, places to picnic and relax. Lots of good booking and walking areas.
It's a good place to hook up a RV for the winter of you're a full time RVer.
$25 a night for tent camping
Great place to take the family camping. Good exploring around with water everywhere.
Super confusing payment system. It's $10, but nobody is there? There isn't any automated ticketing system. It seems like they want you to fill out a super long document and post it on your windshield. Ridiculous process.
Nice park with a nice swimming area. On site rangers station for security!
Very beautiful
Beautiful location, helpful staff, and even space between sites
Neat and clean. Liked the spacious campsites.
Beautiful park to relax and have fun in the outdoors. Glad we found this hidden gem! Swimming, fishing, boating and a picnic all in one spot.
This is a great stop! The park is well kept & has plenty of room between camp spots. A lovely walkway around the entire place with pleasant views. It's right near downtown Wenatchee, so easy to get to restaurants etc. It's a bit pricey compared to places north of it at Lake Chelan, but it's a good park if you don't mind that.
Attractive park. Nice camping area. Good starting point for the bike trail.
Really nice park
Always a favorite! Kayaking...camping...just the best! Great location!
Relaxing views, great walking trail, a playground for the kids, and an easy access boat launch. Wonderful for all your daily activities!
Easy water access, great views, nice riding trail, great swimming areas!
So quiet in the bird area; full of birdsong, growing things, a couple of deer and a skunk!
Great park on Columbia river. Beach area for children. My biggest problem was lots of ducks leading to poor quality water.
Great place! Large RV sites. Green grass. I'll come here again.
Great spacious sites, clean restrooms and showers. On bicycle path, close to town. Lots of trees.
