Very beautiful and quiet place. They have campsites next to the water so plan accordingly if you want those. There are no showers so bring your own portable shower because they have fresh water spigots throughout the camping area. The stars are beautiful and easily visible during clear nights. The raccoons will also make an appearance if you leave food or trash unsealed during the evening hours. Its a good experience that is worth the drive and ferry costs.

This is a fun stop for boaters...if it's not windy and stormy. Nice beach. Mooring buoys on both sides of the spit. Camping also. The area has nice walks. We walked to Lopez Village (8 miles round trip) but it was a beautiful walk. Very pastoral and not much traffic to worry about. You pass by a lake that was very inviting to stop at. Beautiful place, but it can be very windy and rolley.

Gorgeous oceanfront park featuring a unique sand spit that reaches ... almost ... not quite to Frost Island. Can sit in the wood shelters and watch blue herons and other ocean birds.

Kids everywhere. Super cool place to camp and hang out during the day. The kayak rental place was totally worth every penny, and the gentleman running the place was so nice and knowledgeable about the area! I wish I remembered his name, but you will meet him at some point during your stay.

Always fun to visit when boating. Only got varnish clams which don't self clean very well and are gritty

Dawn Woods

Great location for mooring. Nice lagoon habitat for hiking.

E Davis

Lots of interesting finds on the beach, ended with 3 bald eagles flying from frost island.

The Gentleman Farmer

Excellent place to visit for both locals and visitors alike. I can't describe the views well enough. You must be here to experience. As for services, expect good LTE connectivity, water access and some great day use access.

Tina Christian

Gayle Rollins

A beautiful place to camp, hike or just visit.

This should be called camping. Majority of visitors are camping here and there is fee also for anchoring your sailing boat (no dock). Otherways very nice place.

As far as camp sites go it's a bit if work to get to some of the sites here but it's very nice. The entire island chain is worth the effort.

Philip Giammarino

Beautiful and peaceful in the fall with clean facilities and friendly staff. Price for campsites could be a little more reasonable but God forbid we sufficiently fund our state parks and schools by taxing the rich so we'll probably just continue to raise fees until we price out the poor and middle class and only the rich can afford to go camping. Lovely views.

Great campsite! The Islanders are very friendly and wave despite you clearly being a mainlander. Pay attention to the ferry schedule and bring pretty of alcohol oh woops I mean "water"

Nice State park with good campground, excellent beach walking, kayaking opportunities, and mooring balls for pleasure boats. Look for the eagle that spends lots of time in a tree due east of the tip of the spit.

Really nice little state park with a lovely beach and lots of great campsites.

Bart Klein

So beautiful it's a bit of an odd lay out to get to the parking but definitely worth the experience to go down and walk all the way to the end of the spit and see the little enclosure that's out there if you're ever on Lopez definitely go

Jerry Gilbert

The views are gorgeous, the people are friendly, the air is fresh and cool. Kayak, crab, bike, hike, campfires, stars; all there for you.

Great campground, good boat watching spot.

David Robertson

Fine place Breach and water clean Did not use trails

Jeannette delosAngeles

Just a short walk through the woods on a well maintained trail to the beach. Once on the beach you can see harbour seals sunbathing on an island. One of the closest experiences to the wildlife I've experienced outside of a zoo or aquarium exhibit.

Steven van Doorn

Just recently had a wonderful trip here. The facilities they have are kept clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Camp sites are a good size, and relatively spread out. Lots of wildlife around all the time. One star off for an intermittent, but fairly awful septic smell that would waft our way from time to time. Bad enough to induce some nausea. Maybe something temporary they are fixing? Other than that it was great!

Nicholas Walsh

Great place to anchor or take a mooring buoy. Nice sand beach.

Lee McCollins

Noah Pettit

Great place to camp with the family and the pups!!

Beautiful, nice looking camp grounds although we were not camping.

Camron Dunn, LMT

One of the few public places you can get to the water. Interesting history. Lots of variety in the types of rocks on the spit. Evidence of glacial activity.

John Thomson

Bathrooms were being renovated at time of visit, but the porta-poties were clean.

It's really nice here gorgeous views the people are extremely nice and helpful it's really clean before and after the tourist season the park rangers are really kind it is a little bit spendy for parking that's the only reason I didn't give it a 5-star review
