You will see all the reviews of real people like you who are consuming the services and products of Seaquest State Park (Park) in the state of Washington.
As of day this firm has a score of 4.5 over 5 and the rating was based on 454 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is practically the highest, and it's based on a very large number of scores, so we can think that the valuation is quite credible. If people have bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied with the service, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to put reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Park is included in the category of State park.
Its right next to the mt st helens visitor center and has a pretty decent group of trails around it.
Such a great experience! Definitely recommend a visit. Safe, clean, great views, and you just can’t beat it!
Amazing place to camp and hike. There is a visitor center with a mini museum. Easy to moderate hikes.
Loved walking around the area.
It's possible to get a Yurt by just showing up in the winter; by using the call box at the entrance despite the two employees of the campground telling us "you have to book online", "you can't just show up and and stay in a Yurt.", Save the $10 online booking fee and use the phone booking either before visiting or at the park if the booth is closed. No other Yurts were being used during Presidents Day 2018. I'd give 5 stars but the Mr. Lahey, and the Randy of this park weren't helpful at all... Yurts were great, nice trails with big trees to walk around.
A nice little surprise on the way to Mt. Saint Helens. It has a lovely campground and viewtiful of Mt. Saint Helens. Well maintained and nothing too gnarly. Kid friendly. My girlfriend and I went in early May and it was very beautiful. Bountiful with life abroad.
Very quiet, cozy and private campground close to Mt St Helens. Just enough restrooms for the amount of campers they allow. Firewood can be purchased as well. The ranger station always seemed to be closed when we were there which seemed odd. The hosts for the RV loop were so kind and always cleaning up trash or sweeping the campsites. Very clean place to stay. Stayed in site T11 for full hookups with my 20 foot RPOD. The RV loop is enclosed in trees but open with most sites being right next to each other with no trees. Sites T1,T2,T3,T13,T14,T15 are the most private since they are not central. Sites T12 & T16 are private but the fire pits are on the slope so you can only enjoy half the fire pit - not safe in my opinion especially if you have kiddos as there is little space to move around. They do however look out onto the forest which is gorgeous. The South Loop has no hookups at all and felt very serene and private. It's in a totally seperate area than the other 2 loops and mostly tent camping since many of the sites were on hills. Again, VERY private and beautiful. So private that I doubt you could even hear your neighbors in some spots. The Mid and North loops were my favorite! All sites nestled within trees, many areas for water or to dump gray water, many private, many social. The North Loop has no hookups so mostly tents or boondocking trailers there. VERY private and quiet. Didn't pay attention much to which sites were best since we are hook up campers. The best sites for privacy in the Mid Loop were 1,7,9,10,16,24. Sites that have little privacy were 3,4,17. Sites that are really close together and good for camping with another group are 13&15 or 5&6. There is a small playground as well as swings and lots of field with picnic tables to hang out. Nice for kids for sure as there is a restroom right next to it. There is also a Yurt village that I didn't go see. You will need a discover pass if your not camping for the night. Not too far from I-5 and there are a few gas stations close by (within 10 miles).
Big trees, quiet in April.
Nice quiet place with no playground equipment
Been wanting to go here for a long time. Museum was interesting
Beautiful place to camp about an hour from Mount St. Helens! It’s secluded and covered in tall trees everywhere! We loved it. We came on a Monday, so finding a spot wasn’t hard. It’s right across from the amount St. Helens visitor center as well. There’s a variety of camp sites and sizes. We found one that fit a 4-door sedan and a pickup truck, as well as two big tents. The showers were a little questionable and could use some regular housing down for bugs, but decent (be warned, it takes about 2 mins for the water to warm up); you pay $0.50 for a shower token and each token lasts 3 minutes. You can get these at the main checking counter, so get them while you’re checking in.
Beautiful park with nice trails would recommend
Lovely park, the roads are rough and most of the campsites small.
Beautiful park. Went for a visit. Make sure you have your discover pass.
Great views
Big, private sites. Beautiful setting. No Wi-Fi! Yea!
Great State park, clean and in the rainforest. About 75 miles to Mount St. Helen's. Nice walking trails as well.
Nice gampground close to the St Helen's visitor center. It has a playground and lots of little trails (bike friendly!). We were in the yurt area which, frankly, is awesome: 5 yurts making a sort of circle without cars in that circle, covered shelter for cooking, and next to a field. Took one star off because there's really not much to do nearby (the St Helen's park is huge) and pretty far away from Seattle
Great relaxing place to take the family with hiking trails. There are yurts available play grounds and a covered pavilion to host get togethers. There is a Mt Saint Helen's visit with a tunnel leading to it from the park.
Gorgeous place to visit
Amazing trails, and a beautiful view. It was a great way to spend the day with family and be outside in nature and learn a thing or two
A little something for everyone. Campgrounds were clean and quiet. Only one shower per male/female bathroom. Plan on limited to no cell coverage. Nearest market is a Shell station. They have quite a bit but it will cost. Easy walk to Mt. St Helens visitor center.
Very green and beautiful
Very nice park. Stick to the outer Rv sites for privacy.
Favorite place Great wLks in the woods Gorgeous park. Yurts to rent.
The views are amazing and it's a very simple mile long walk and get to enjoy nature.
This park is pretty legit. About an hour to Mt St Helens. Pretty easy to navigate through and the water is ok. Town is close to with a grocery and laundry mat.
Picnic tables in a cleared old-growth forest floor.
Just drove thru. Pretty Park
Peaceful and serene to be in the woods of this beautiful state park. You can buy wood at the location. Restrooms are very clean and well maintained. Rangers take rounds for safety. Wonderful experience.
Beautiful ❤️ place
Long and well maintained. May be the best medium sized park in the west.
The campsites were decent and the bathrooms clean. There are some nice trails through a mix of old and new growth forest that loop around to various parts of the campground. The playground is geared towards older kids, 10 and up, and it appears to attract a good number of them during summer camp season. There was no cell coverage in our loop, which is pro or con depending on your addiction. The St Helen's visitor center across the highway was nice and there was a decent river park about 6 miles down the road for the kids to splash around in the cool water.
A great place for a day hike.
Great place to hike around and find geocaches!
A great view of Mt St. Helens and plenty of hiking trails here
Very nice and informative
AMAZING SCENERY & BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES
Great park friendly hosts me and my fiance had a great time and would definitely return. Saw deer came right threw the camp.
Interesting place. Neat 10 minute show. Overcast day so no crater observation.
Beautiful and clean
Tight spots for camping. Lots of people but quiet. July 13, 2018. We didn’t need campfire due to warm weather.
Great park and well maintained. It was walk-in only when we visited (off season). Ranger did say things fill up fast come warmer weather. Nice trails, playground area, etc.
I love nature, and when I have a chance to learn about it, like Mt St Helens, I'll stop at the visitors center to get the history. There are knowledgeable staff ready with park info and maps. They will even provide weather reports if its favorable. And they will do it all with a smile. seaQuest state park is where all the lakes are that were formed from the eruption.
Very pleasant mixed forest setting. Camp hosts are excellent
RV serviced area sites were small and right next to each other. Plenty of trails, tent campsites and large day use area.
Extremely interesting and a must see for all!
Quiet campground with nice sites. Well maintained, decent bathrooms. Nice day camp area with decent playground. Friendly staff. Nothing really to distinguish it except the adjacent Mt Saint Helens visitor center, which is nicely done.
Great place to visit. Bathrooms are kept clean and the park is quiet.
Nice TV camping with lots of hiking trails. The toilets are adequate but need some maintenance attention.
Absolutely beautiful state park. Went here for a wedding and now I'm just itching to go back, must stop if you get the opportunity.
This was a great campsite! Our campsite was clean when we arrived. They have restrooms with flushable toilets and I am pretty impressed with how clean they kept them. If you want to check out the Mt St Helens visitor center, it's only right across the street from the campsite entrance. We highly recommend this place for camping!
Nice place to walk around.
Great sites in upper loops...lower loop close to road and very steep inclines. Aides (all) extremely helpful, courteous, efficient at their jobs keeping facilities clean and functioning, and Ranger Mike very personable and helpful. Super sites to see with Mt. Saint Helens, Ape cave etc... Three visitor centers on mountain route. Of the three, second one, WHICH IS FREE, the best. Lots of hands on activities for kids, adults and awesome entrance room of eruption!!!
Had a great time in the trails, great scenery. Could not see the my because it was cloudy.
What a beautiful walk and center! A must stop on your way to the observatory.
Amazing place to go. Five yurts in the whole park. One yurt allows pets. That's the one we stayed in. Nice shaded area, abundant water supply, quick walk to restrooms, and kids park. I highly recommend visiting this park. Several places nearby sold firewood. The Rangers said they did but we only saw them a couple of times so wasn't able to get any from them. The Mount Saint Helens visitor center is right across the road and has a really nice hike. Great for people in wheelchairs as well. Beautiful scenery. The hiking around our camp was awesome. Well marked and taken care of but you still knew you were walking in the wilds. We did come across a pile of horse poop that we later found out that the lady who owns them rides illegally on the trails. As far as yurting there or even camping in the future, we would jump at the chance. It's a truly stunning campgrounds.
Was able to get a last minute site without a reservation on a Wednesday evening in August. Lots of great sites to choose from, mine was very private. Ranger station sold firewood. Beautiful drive to Mt. St. Helens from here.
It was nice but I was attacked by a hornet shortly after entering the danger zone.
Nice place to visit to learn about mt. St. Helens
We came here for my sons 2nd birthday & had a lovely time. I noticed there was a lack in photos of the day area shelter and how close it is to bathrooms and parking lot. the photos help.
Fun campground to take the kids to for the day and play at the playground.
Some of the camping sites offer much more than privacy than most state parks. Also offers Clean, warm bathrooms with showers and hot water.
Very quite and peaceful
Nice walkway through nature and first glimpses of My Saint Helens.
Stunning views
i went there for my first 8th grade field trips and it's sooo relaxing and beautiful!!!
Looks like a nice park. We just drove through to check out sites. They have a designated bigger rig area, which is nice. No need to squeeze through the winding trees if you don't want to.
Seaquest State Park is a 475-acre, year-round camping park near Mount St. Helen's. The beautifully forested park claims over a mile of Silver Lake shoreline, a shallow wetland lake. Enjoy one mile of wetland trail and six miles of woodland trails for hiking and bicycling; see spectacular views of wildlife, Silver Lake and the surrounding area. There are also children's play areas and playing fields. Great seasonal fishing, boating and swimming are available nearby. The major draw to this park is Mount St. Helens. An outstanding interpretive center details history and geology of the volcano. An ADA-compliant trail opens to a view across Silver Lake of Mount St. Helens. There is excellent wildlife viewing in both wetland and lowland forest habitats.
We only stayed 1 night but we had no issues loved the area.
My wife and I stayed in a yurt in February. We liked it a lot. We arrived late on a Friday and luckily a fellow camper was there to tell us the key was in the mailbox right at the yurt. Otherwise we would have been locked out. No rangers anywhere. No camp hosts. So just be aware that you need to be good with a map to find the yurt and adventurous to get into your yurt. Place was basically empty for the entire camp other than the yurts. We didn't see a camp ranger or host the entire stay. We left on Sunday morning. Walking over to the Mt St Helens visitor center was nice but I'll note that the displays are a bit dated and most of the interactive displays did not work.
Beautiful park, campsites afford more privacy than most and there are services near by.
Great park and fantastic staff!
Easy access to parking, beautiful scenery.
Nice park, well maintained and clean bathrooms. Also expensive and people working there aren't very polite.
Nice state park with a variety of site types. Full hookup sites are nicely done. Rangers were through the park often. Bathrooms are fine but require tokens for the shower.
Great place for a family gathering. Ours happened to be a baby shower and it was perfect. Lots of parking. Ample room for food and guests in covered area. Fantastic back drop. Park staff was great.
Not a camper but I did do some fun geocaching here. Be sure to hand you Discovery Pass
Quiet, despite busy weekend. Clean sites and decent bathrooms. Evening show for kids, and nice little park. Swimming and other activities within a few miles. Only downside is they were out of fire wood for the weekend; starting early Friday night.
We had so much fun here the walking trails were fun and the residents were nice kind older people.
Love the hiking trails. The RVspots are all pull through. Hardly anyone there.
Beautiful park
Went here with the school group. There was lots to do. Close distance to the St. Helens area. Nice and cool in hot weather. Plenty of camping spaces and varying types to suit your needs. Park hosts and rangers were very friendly and helpful. Clean park. Sewer dump on the way out. Lots of bathroom facilities. Very accessible for ADA. Nice place.
Beautiful park in a fantastic location, plenty of fishing, hiking and other outdoor activities very close.
Great place for a family outing.
Nice campground clean we had site 3 very good. Enjoyed our stay.
Nice camp grounds with clean restrooms. Only thing is that you need shower tokens to take showers. We have a RV so we could just use the shower in that. It's a beautiful park with some nice little trails, even one to take you to the Mount Saint Helens visitor center. This also had a nice trail through some wetlands. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Easy walk trail, good customer service at visitor center providing informative routes for your choice.
Awesome Memories!
This place was a great stop off the highway! Great view of Mount Saint Helens... didnt visit the museum, but... they have a perfect 1 mile walk along the marshlands... there is a board walk that actually goes out into the marsh... we did see 2 gardner snakes... a blue heron, a hawk, a BALD EAGLE, tad poles, a cpl frogs and a fish!!! It was the perfect stop along for my 4 boys... they had a great time! And kept everybody at bay for the rest of the ride home.
I don't know if the giant dirt hill behind the playground was intentional, but it's been just as entertaining to play on (King Of The Hill). The weather is usually a little on the chilly side. The campgrounds look tiny, but cutesy.
This place is really nice You can visit wildlife Just across the road.We camp here often You can ride bikes and they have cabin to rent and you can bring Sattelite Dish.
Pretty nice park. Spent 2 nights. Within walking distance of Mt St Helens visitor center. We'll be back. FYI, bring your own firewood or buy some before getting there. They didn't have any at the park during our stay.
Very nice. Quiet well run
Just got home from a four day, three night stay here and couldn't be happier! We showed up Friday late afternoon after discovering a private campground down the road we had initially planned to stay at was not suitable for our families. We got so lucky to get two adjoining spots! We had two families and two dogs with us, and the seclusion of the forest around us is exactly what we were looking for. The kids had a blast playing on the playground, parents got to play horseshoes (you can rent them), and the well maintained roads were perfect for the kids on their bikes. The hiking trails are gorgeous and won't leave you disappointed! Bathrooms are very well maintained and cleaned twice daily.. this was a very family friendly park, can't wait to to back!
Small but interesting
Beautiful setting for our family reunion.
Beautiful forest to hike in, nice playground for kids and picnic tables for lunch. The only thing that was missing is a place to swim, but Harry Gardner Park is not too far away, and there's a shallow river for kids to play in without worrying about any strong currents.
I’ve gone to this park many times for the kids to play, bring your discover pass. You’ll need it for day use! We’ve also hiked there trails and even RV camped. The overall experience has always been a good one and the few times I’ve seen the park workers they’ve always been friendly & professional. If you don’t have a pass, don’t worry
Great sites but can fill up quick. Options for large families with RVs or small private spots. Ranger could leave people's campsites alone while they're occupied.
Beautiful, wonderful hiking trails on site, hot showers. Definitely will stay again. Would have given 5 stars if the campground enforced quiet hours.
Excellent trails! Great camping! Old growth forest.
Seaquest State Park is a nice park Good walking trails.
Really nice park and spot are nice sized.
Ideal location for visiting Mt. St. Helens as the visitors centre is right across the highway. Arrived quite late at night but was able to get a site using self registration however access to firewood was closed (not unreasonable, just good to know). Site had a fire pit with grate, picnic table and parking on the site. There was access to water, electricity, flush toilets and showers (for 50 cents). The park was well kept and quite. A great place to stay! (Washington Discovery Pass is needed for access).
Great place
Wonderful scenery. Clean park. The trail loops are perfect for small walks. The information plaques and many benches help break things up and allow you to enjoy nature.
We got a campsite for a couple days in the South loop with the intention of kayaking in nearby Silver lake and maybe doing some hiking near Mt St Helens. Unfortunately, the lake had some toxic blue-green algae blooms and we didn't want to put our dog at risk. Likewise, many of the trails on Mt St Helens are not pet friendly. So our original plans were pretty much scrapped. There is a nice boardwalk nature trail across the street from the park that is okay for dogs and a few easy trails in the park itself that are dog friendly. Wear long pants though for hiking. There is a great amount of unfriendly plants that you don't want brushing up against your legs. The sites are heavily forested and the dense brush makes them mostly private. The ranger station was closed for most of our trip so to check-in we had to call the State parks reception from the yellow phone outside the closed office. Shower tokens can be purchased at a machine outside the restroom in the "T loop". You get two three minute tokens for a buck. Our site was pretty close to the highway and it was really loud all night. I slept much better the second night when I finally located the ear plugs that I had packed.
Camping in the woods, nice campsites, power and water are available. Hot water in the bathrooms.
I kinda liked it but i got injurded while we were walking to many holes but it was fun and now i cant walk on my right leg
Quiet, inexpensive, and beautiful!
We went hiking on the trails here. This is a camping area that also has yurts for rent. If you want some easy trails that goes through woods this is a great place that is close to the I5 corridor.
Clean washrooms. Campsite not very private.
Need to allow the sites to be individually rented
We stayed in the yurts over Thanksgiving this year-- what a treat! Heated, with real floors, nice bunk beds, and plenty of light. It rained the whole time, so we got lots of experience with the roofed portions of the park. There's a day-use picnic area that has a roof, two walls, and a fire place. We cooked dinner over camp stoves with a nice little fire keeping us cozy, even while it poured a few feet away.
Amazing
This is a beautiful state park, with perfect camping spaces, and clean bathrooms and showers. It's very well maintained!
We thoroughly enjoyed checking out all the sites that we could. This is a fun interesting stop for us although we did not stay long.
Gorgeous! Highly recommended! Family friendly!
A ton of great trails. Take a map. St. Helen's visitor center and nature trail were very enjoyable.
Great place been going here since I was a little kid and still do today great place to bike small loops but easy. Highly recomend it 5/5 stars
Nice little State Park with Hiking Trails. Has a small playground for the kiddos as well. You're right across from Silver Lake, and it has good fishing. If you have a boat this would be a good spot to camp and hit a lake to fish. Lots of outdoor activities to do close by with a solid home base.
Beautiful location, somewhat centrally located between two sides of Mt St. Helens. Hiking trails abound. The visitors center opposite the Seaquest State Park campground is very nice with a lot of information on the 1980 eruption. On a side note, cell phone coverage is basically non-existent so if you have to have it, Mt St. Helens might not be for you.
What a great park! This is an awesome starting night for any trip out of the Seattle area. Highly recommended
Absolutely beautiful and full of life (animals and plants). Great little view of Mt. St. Helen's as well.
Fantastic State park. Well taken care of.
Good camping site, close to highway I-5 and the little town where provisions can be obtained. Site has adequate toilet facilities, although I would have preferred more showers.
Yurt life.
Beautifully maintained, easy to navigate.
Pretty average state park. Perfectly average campsites, bathrooms, and had a reasonable amount of things to do/see near and in the park.
Camped here in March. It was quiet. Walk in only which was a little nerve racking with kids in tow. But it was great. I will definitely be back.
Beautiful
Beautiful campground. Very nice place for beginners. -Nice bathrooms that include a shower. -Water and trash stations. -Admins sell firewood. -Grass field. -Near Silver Lake. -Great vistas of Mnt. St. Helens. -Hikes & Visitor centers near-by Would recommend.
A wonderfull campground for staying when visiting Mt. St Helens. The visitors center (the first one) is right across the street. The pitches are great, camping hosts where very friendly and the shower/toilet building was cleaned several times a day! Highly recommended !!
Love this beautiful quiet place.
Camped in the trailer hookup sites (T1-T17). They were fairly close together. The "primitive sites" had more space. I stayed for the night on my way to Vancouver which was convenient. I'd definitely do it again.
Classic camping experience amongst towering Douglas fir and pine trees. Fresh water available via spigots. There are clean bathrooms with hot water and a small shower that takes tokens. The rangers were super friendly and helpful. Definitely head down to the visitor center across the highway (there's a tunnel for foot traffic), and check out the 2 mile loop that takes you through the marsh. Very easy and relaxing walk.
Yurts are not maintained, lots of debris on the top window and tops of all yurts. Spider webs everywhere. No table to eat inside on. Bathrooms smelled like pee. The mattress pads have fabric covers that were also stained (should pull all those off and have guests sleep on pads). Futon also had fabric that was stained. Showers were working, (have to pay to get tokens to use; should just use quarters), use the diner/laundry mat east of vamp site for showering. A little TLC and these could be really special. It's clear there's no money in Washington parks dept and that's sad. Campsite is great though. The field was mowed, toilet paper, though hard to use, was always stocked. Quiet place to be and close to great trails and fantastic visitor centers.
Loved it bring the kids you'll love it too
Was a wonderful visit, went to the Mt. St. Helen's Visitors Center. The cute sasquatch plushies are adorable and had to pick up a wildflower seed postcard from the gift shop. Beautiful and quiet in the Fall months.
Great place to camp and visit
Clean and beautiful park. The park is well maintained with friendly hosts. It is a great place to escape from the city and the yurts provide a pleasant remote atmosphere. I recommend this park to anyone seeking an authentic natural weekend in a nature infused space.
Great park. Nice trails, good camping areas. Clean
Even though it was super rainy it was a really nice place.
It was okay for a wedding venue, not the greatest if wet. People were slipping and sliding in the PNW rain...yurts on the property for overnight rental with campground and if you keep going, it’s a pretty forest back in the north side of the park
Beautiful setting. Many sites.
Don't go during spider season...
Love this place great views. Wildlife everywhere. Awesome trails and not too far away. Across the street is the Mt. St. Helens exhibit. Worth the stop. Free parking
I really enjoyed my time here
Beautiful forest. Little trails to explore. Running water. Flushing toilets. Showers available with coins. 6 minutes for $1.
Such a beautiful experience. Worth the drive.
Road to see Mount St Helens
The yurts are awesome! (At least during the late fall.)
Quick stop for me and the pup to sit in the shade and enjoy the scenery.
Beautiful camping area close to silver lake
Great paths! Clean and many camping spots
Nice clean park, we will be back.
