This Park is classified in the category of State park.
Great park....awesome birding......thanks for this park...
Loved it. Worth your time.
At the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers. Interesting interpretive center. Major Lewis and Clark site.
Very cool needs cleaning
Very nice park with an outstanding Interpretative Center. Very good information about the Lewis and Clark expedition. It's a small building, but packed with a lot to see. There's also a small swimming beach and plenty of shaded picnic areas.
I love history
Peaceful . Nice place for photography and just plain old Family fun!
So much history there and information all thru out the park very clean and beautiful
Good place to fish but unless you have a discover pass it's $10 to get in.
Beautiful park.
Love the park . Love the museum ,but they need someone to clean up the weeds around the place. The park is awesome and the fishing isn't bad there . Again having the museum there is a huge plus !!! My kids love it and for being small its got some interesting things inside . Must see .
Great park. A few mosquitoes around. Visited in June
Needs a bit of maintenance. The museum was awesome.
Peaceful, educational, informative, and fun for both children and adults.
This modest sized museum packs a lot of interpretative information into it's available.exhibit space. The location is a bit off the major interstate but we'll worth the effort to find. The.grounds are.pleasant with ample.parking and the.location at the fernix of Snake River with the Columbia River is very special in the Lewis & Clark saga
So beautiful, the museum/info center was amazing. Many picnic tables to choose from. Great day with the family.
A wonderful park. So sad that camping is not allowed.
Excellent interpretive center. One of the best we've come across along the L&C trail.
It looks like a nice park, but... We pulled into the parking area and stopped to fill out the self registration for the entry fee and then had some lunch in our trailer before walking over to the discovery center only to find that they were not open on Tuesday. I think they should have had a sign at the entrance informing visitors that it wasn't open. I want my $10 back.
One of my favorite parks in the area! Requiring a "Discovery Pass" is annoying but I don't mind supporting conservation, and it definitely cuts down on crowds. The grounds are maintained well with good access to both the Columbia and Snake Rivers. The history is accurate'ish with an obvious white washed perspective. The staff has always been pleasant but not incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to the displays. A nice spot for a family lunch amongst ancient trees, but a troubled topic from our past to address morally.
Beautiful place to visit
As an Alaskan Native Elder in our Clan TONGASS Tribe. I was impressed by the park and the many Circle Monuments. As a visitor you must take the time to explore the entire park. The confluence of the Snake River and the Columbia River is significant land to Many Indian Tribes/Nations for it's once Abundant Wildlife and natural resources. The interpretive center was closed on Monday.
This a beautiful park enjoyed the history tour
Very good center, go see it.
Good park to walk around see some sights and even swim. Well maintained.
Beautiful park with boating access right at a major river intersection. Interpretive center is nice as well. Good for swimming, boating, fishing, walking, and I typically bring a dog.
Attended the 2018 Tri-Cities Geocoin Challenge. Very wide open Park.
great park on the river. Mountain men Indians crafts a museum the healer all in all an awesome day!
A great place to pick up dreft wood and have a picnic.
Nice park
Fun place to come out to fish, but never got anything out of it. Nice place to come and relax. There is no playgrounds but there is picnic tables everywhere and tons of shades. I have seen a lot of improvements of clean ups compare to last year. There are tons of snakes but they are little guys so please don't run them over as this is their home. Please pick up your trash!! I shouldn't have pay to come here but since people are too lazy to pick up after themselves is why WE gotta pay.
Clean, safe, lots of parking. What more is there to say.
Small state park placed at the junction of the Snake and the Columbia Rivers that offers a boat ramp, picnic tables and a small museum. Discover Pass or $10 daily pass required.
This park is one of the most beautiful parks in the fall you can visit. Beautiful colors to see. Too bad it's a part that you have to pay or have a pass to visit. Icycle to this park often which I love because it's often quiet. It's well-maintained
A wonderful interpretive center coupled with a clean and green park make this a must-see in Pasco, WA. It's on the very spot where Lewis and Clark camped at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers. A stunning view of the confluence itself, plus a couple of dugout canoes take you back in time. The volunteers at the interpretive center know their stuff and the exhibits are absolutely terrific.
Really good park. Well maintained. Great weather the 2 days I was there. The river borders 2 sides of the park. It was heritage days, lots of people had displays. Lots of history knowledge by the people in the camps dressed up in the clothes for the time in history. They have a Facebook page with pictures. There were wood Carvers, and knapping demo's you could learn to knap (making arrowheads).
State park is good for summer months maybe. Free to come here and fun little parts of history. The museum is the cost part, the park is open year round and has horse shoe pits, picnick tables, docs ($5 boat launch fee), volleyball pit (not maintained during winter spring), and swings. Mule deer wondering through as well. Out on the edge of industrial central. Dog friendly, on a leash and just a note...not everyone picks up after their dog so be careful.
Port security called the cops for us driving on the road to slow (u ride my butt I go slower) so they called cops and cops let us go with a warning was awesome park too though
We learned more history lessons, again!
Very informative set up. Lovely staff.
Large Park nice and green cement walkways where I can take my mobility scooter and the museum of Sacagawea and Lewis and Clark was excellent
Serious need for serious efforts to develop local cultural history interest. Get real, why would anyone pay $10 to park here. I do love the stop on my cycle rides though. Do you get the message?
Beautiful, quiet but for all the birds. A nice place to take a walk. This is a historical site that honors it's significance to both Native Americans, and for having been visited by Lewis and Clark.
Good place
This park has nice shaded areas with benches
Ferry seems to be heading up the Snake River.
Beautiful place for gatherings, get togethers, wedding pics among other things. Also least ammount of bees and wasps pestering you compared to other parks in the tri cities.
Very nice little hands-on museum staffed by knowledgeable volunteers. Exhibits on Lewis and Clark expedition in general, with a focus on local native peoples and cultures. Gives various viewpoints about Sacagawea.
The sun was out. The grass was green. Sacajawea Museum was very entertaining and informative. You can feel the rich history in this one park. Lewis and Clark set foot on the same ground you walk on. Native Americans used to live there and there are still huge wooden canoes you can see. A lot of information stands to read. It's right be the river with over 3 docks to watch the big boats and fish jumping. The most beautiful and quietest park I've ever been too. Loved every minute of it.
There's a dedicated bunch of volunteers who are the hosts and hostesses of the park. They're formed the club to help take care and promote the park. As I talk to them I found that there is an incredible need for others especially younger to help the different events that happened throughout the summer. I watched a very small second grade class come through the interpretation Center. It seem to be fairly stressful for the two ladies running the shop. They were kind and handled it well, yet they were worn-out when the class was done.
Nice state park does require a discovery pass or 3 dollar day use fee at gate.
Great museum
Great history and view. It's a very small park though, and I didn't see any good places to hike or any trails to follow. There's a lot of grass and sidewalk. I enjoyed it a lot, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go again.
I came here for a picnic. This could be a nice park if it was kept up. I found a syringe abandoned, clothing and the tagging in the park by local wanna be gang members is a joke and is ruining this area. But we need to be tolerant. What a joke!
The interpretive center here gives you a great perspective on Lewis and Clark's expedition and their interaction with the native Americans.
We were thare for geocashing vary big and roomie.
Beautiful park on the Columbia River
I grew up on the Snake River. It was rewarding to see where it ended up. The park has excellent views and is very well maintained. If I lived in the area, I would visit this Park often.
Awesome green space with huge shade trees. The interpretive center is great! Easy to see lots of wild life. And access to the river as well.
Last time I was there was about 39 years ago. It brought back a lot of memories. I loved it.
We used to visit this park almost 30 years ago! I was back today for a geocaching event and it was just as nice as my memory! Lots of parking. Wonderful large trees provide abundant shade making a warming day like today totally comfortable! The park was clean and has restrooms available though I did not use them today. Love this park!
It was great! Wonderful wildlife! We saw a snake, will turkey, deer, all kinds of birds, and even a beaver! Very well kept park! Bathrooms were clean and campus security was helpful and very friendly. Definitely coming back!
Really well maintained state park. Well worth the $10.00 fee to park. Very relaxing ambiance at Keats during weekdays. You can see the confluence of the snake and Columbia rivers .
Good place to run and launch kayak
This Historic Park was established in 1931 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
My scouts love to be there at Heritage weekend. It becomes our annual trip there in fall.
Beautiful park, lots to learn about the area
My favorite campsite
Nice park during the day!
Nice shaded park on the rivers.
Mouth of Snake River and Yakima enter in to the Columbia River. Great fishing and day use park.
Sacagawea State Park in the port of Pasco is a nice place to visit during the summer there's a beach in a boat launch situated between the Snake River and the Columbia River. My family and I try to visit there a couple times of year for the purposes of kayaking and other outdoor activities. you looking to get out of the house and something to go do checkout Sacagawea
Pleasant state park. Lots of trees. Swimming and picnic areas. Docks for river access. Very nice museum.
Great historical park
Extreamly beautiful environment. Very peaceful. Would recommend for family photos or just a relaxing walk.
For a park that you have to pay to use it is not kept as clean as it should be. Goose droppings all over especially near the swim area.
A very nice park along the Columbia River. A great place to spend the day with the kids!!
Nice place stop and check out
Great place
Very nice museum.
Nice clean park! Very enjoyable.
Park with small boat launch, lots of grass and trees. Flushing toilets. History displays
Wonderful museum and helpful rangers like Eric & Mary.
It was pretty awesome nobody was around fishing quiet in peace
It's not the biggest or the best state park, but it's got an interesting view and it's a great place to learn about history.
A gem of a state park that is very under utilized which makes it perfect for those who don't like big crowds. Very well maintained and definitely a great place to get off those cell phones and relax in nature. I've seen a lot of animals including turkeys, all kinds of beautiful birds, osprey, coyotes, eagles, hawks to name a few. A very historical park you will be amazed by the canoes carved from large heavy trees and you can hike, bike, fish, bring kayaks or your boat as there's a boat launch. This is where the Snake River meets the Columbia so expect some great fishing. I love this park
Nice park but I wouldn't go hours out of my way to visit. The museum was interesting and Maya Lin's sculpture was nice.
Beautiful location, fascinating visitor center with interactive exhibits.
Great state park with beautiful views and a museum with information about the history of the area. There are numerous great events at this park.
Nice park, interpretive center was closed.
Nice place worth visiting
A lot of history!
I was truly Interested in getting to see this park as I used to live an hour South of here and had never visited it before. I was a little disappointed in trying to see the confluence of the two rivers because there is a somewhat obstructed view. I would strongly suggest that some engineers come out and build a 6 story watchtower there at the point. It would sure make a person feel like they have a better view that way. You cannot even get a good picture from down on the ground. Just my thoughts...it is a pleasure to walk the grounds of where Lewis & Clark traveled. There is much information to take in about their experiences.
Our Boy Scout troop bicycled here and camped over night. The interpretive center is well worth a few dollar donation. The park allows scout troops to camp for a nominal price if you do a service project. We're already looking forward to our next opportunity.
Lovely park. Went fishing there, no bites but was fun.
As far as Washington state parks go this park is right in he middle of services. A nice area to explore and spend some time in but lacks greater features that really push it into a great park. However, I did have a great experience spending some time in the park and even camped for a special event. Maybe if I had a boat it would have been better?
The interpretative center has many good exhibits.
Nice State Park on outskirts of Pasco. Day use only, no camping. Boat launch in lagoon. Interpretive center with historical and current information. Entrance fee or use Discovery Pass. At confluence of Snake and Columbia Rivers. Picnic tables. Boat docks for boat-in visitors. Very scenic with marshy areas and lots of birds - Ospreys, Egrets, Blue Herons, Blackbirds, Kingfishers, etc. Swim beach on Columbia River. Great kayak and canoe area with lots to explore. Good fishing in both rivers. Described in Lewis & Clark journals.
