Walking right next to POWER LINES! This tiny park seems like an abandoned park. The trail was so narrow, and unsafe that I turned back. It just wasn't worth the stop.

Hike around these big standstone spires overlooking the Wenatchee River and orchards. Also a popular climbing spot with bolted routes.

There are rocks! There are great views! What isn't to love? Though this park was really built by and for rock climbers I enjoy it just for short day hikes. The views of the Wenatchee Valley are spectacular as well as of Mt. Stuart and The Enchantments, best when fruit trees (pears mostly) and native plants are blooming in spring, but good anytime there is a sunset or sunrise and extremely photogenic. Be prepared to exercise though if you want the view- though the trails may be short, they are switchbacks and mean business. This is a fee area so be prepared with your pass or to pay. Its also closed for the winter and a day use only park- the closest camping is in Cashmere or outside of Leavenworth.

Stunning place with extremely unique sandstone formations. A desert vibe just outside of the lush mountains of Leavenworth, this park has everything from hiking and climbing to even bird watching and sunset seeking. A perfect oasis for people trying to get away from the heavily trafficked trails of Leavenworth and the tourist feel.

Rob Kline

Joe Stansel

Amazing rock formations over looking beautiful apple orchards.

Matthew Weber

Cool rock formations

Heidi Brehms

The view is beautiful. The power lines are a bit annoying, but some nice places to climb.

Diana Rigelman

In late summer, many bees in the overgrowth along the trails. Watch out for snakes as well. Trails are narrow, not well up kept in places.. Rock formations are wonderful to explore & climb for the experienced. It's a one of kind State Park. $10 Parking fee/ or Discover pass. Bathrooms and picnic tables. Closed Nov 1-March.

Gorgeous views of Cashmere, good facilities, a nice hike, and tons of rock climbing

Paulina Sanchez

There's some scary parts where it's a little hard to cross due to erosion as well as there being some tall grass on each side of the narrow-ish path, but other than that it is awesome! I'd definitely go again!

Kerry Summers-Valdez

Very scenic! Love it! Bring lots of water and energy!

Estee Pummel

Beautiful spot to hike and climb, but you'd better have good knees!

(Translated by Google) Steep and very slippery but definitely worth it (Original) Steil und sehr rutschig aber lohnt allemal

A beautiful place sadly marred by power lines that cut directly through the center of the pinnacles and which come disturbingly close overhead on the trail. Fortunately the trail system is large, and one can get away from the power lines fairly quickly. However, it must also be noted that the trails are in somewhat poor repair. People have cut nearly every switchback, which has resulted in severe erosion to the trail and surrounding landscape. Still, this is a spectacular location with intriguing rock formations, wide ranging views, and numerous and varied species of birds wheeling about the crags.

Steep trail with amazing views of the basin

Beautiful rock formations ...

Derek Antrican

Lots of sandstone. For climbers - expect slab climbing that is crumbling away in some places (where there's not trad). For others - expect well-eroded trails the higher up you get

I underestimated the trail and it ended up yielding spectacular views.

The finest example of sandstone outcropping in the North Central Cascades. You have to explore around them to appreciate their size and beauty. Trails are short and steep, but they urge exploration even if you don't climb.
