Nice walking trails and more
Love this park. Well-maintained and pretty!
Beautiful views, nice walk around the lake.
Excellent place for a picnic. There is a nice trail to explore the park. Nice beach and a good place for water adventure as well. Lot of parking space available, but can be crowded during week ends.
Beautiful park well kept with clean restroo.s.
One of my favorites. Super beautiful and healthy walk. Great swimming and park for kid's! Fishing too.
Fun place quite and peaceful when it's still cool out
Good easy trail, nice play area, cookout area, swimming area, none powered boat launch. Perfect little gem of a park.
Fun park clean restrooms
Beautiful nature, great scenery. Fishing, play ground, picnic spots, trails, swimming(at your own risk), away from big city, next to Cumberland grocery and kanasket Palmer camp grounds. Must go to.
Love this park. Breathtaking views and great trails.
Its sure not like it use to be
This place never gets old. We discovered it two summers ago and now we go at least three times every summer. It's clean, it's beautiful, it's never overly crowded and the bathrooms are plentiful and so clean. The water is generally cold so we bring our kayaks. The kids don't mind the cold though so that's good. The views are spectacular and how can I forget the playground and beautiful trail. Seriously, if you haven't checked this place out, you should!
Love camp there every year .walk or drive to the river. Good swimming holes quite and beautiful
Beautiful morning for a hike...❤
One of the best non-camping state parks by far. Nice small palyground. Lots of picinic tables. Appears to be a great fishing lake for kids.
This park is a hidden gem! We went in mid June and there was hardly anyone there! Plenty of open space and picnic tables and the water is wonderful to swim in! The trail around the lake is about a mile and a half, flat and perfect for a hiker of any experience level. I’m not sure if it gets busier throughout the summer but this is a great spot if you want to swim and not be bombarded by people. Definitely going to visit this beautiful lark again!
Nice lake, small trail encompasses the lake. Often busy during the summer
Deep Lake is beautiful! Great hiking trail too!
Great family park. A loop trail around the lake and children's play area made this a great destination for the family. While the trail around the lake can be done with a stroller, it's quite steep in places and soft ground. A jogger with pneumatic tires highly recommended.
Great place for a quick walk in the woods to refresh and stretch the legs!
Beautiful and gets full
Great place to take your dog. We just got a 3 month old bull dog pit bull mix and he had the best time there. Every other dog owner we ran into stopped so that the dogs could meet and socialize. It was so great that everyone was kind to us as well as our dog. Would recommend this place to all dog lovers.
Natural clean beauty. Feels like nature.
It is a fun, pretty lake. It has a grassy area with a boat launch (no motorized boats), bathrooms, picnic tables, BBQs, and a swim area. There is a path that goes around the lake. There are many places you can set up next to the lake all around it. Dogs on leashes allowed!
My kids love going there. It wonderful , beautiful, enjoying . My kids always ask me to drive them there.
Beautiful and very peaceful
Great
Clean park. Nice walking trail. Relaxing water with a beach and dock.
Great spot to get away. A hike around the lake is the best therapy.
Beautiful spacious lake park
I love this place it is a great place on a hot day with family
Nice lake for swimming . they dont call it deep lake for no reason. About 12 ft from shore it 45s down to a depth of 65ft
During the summer months I frequented this Park 3 or 4 times a week the park is generally kept up lack of debris and the Rangers are on it when there's a problem as far as excessive drinkers or drug users I don't see as much as there used to be it is a family fun place to be a great Walking park and a great dog park
Fun time for doggie swim at the end of the day!
We love Deep Lake. Perfect small kid and stroller friendly walk around the lake and play structure at the end
Warm water, friendly people, clean beach, love it. A little piece of heaven here.
Great place to go fishing or a BBQ, picnic.. nice walking trail around the lake too
Great place for dogs
Very scenic and tranquil walking around Deep Lake
Beautiful serene lake park. You need a discover pass to park.
Child play area away from the water. Large lake. NO LIFEGUARD! Bathrooms are pristine!! Grass almost everywhere.
Pretty little lake with good beach access and good trails. Didn't catch any fish
This is a smaller park but, has all of the necessary amenities. There are several parks in this area to try if this is not your cup of tea.
Beautiful park grounds. Well kept.
Loved the trails
Nice park. Great walking trail around Deep Lake. Playground, picnic areas. Very pretty.
This is my hometown spot to just get away and relax. Fun for kids, a little hiking and splashing.
Great for swimming, kayaking or hiking around the lake.
Beautiful park with a lake full of fish, bring your power bait and a rod or just enjoy a nice 30 to 45 minute walk around the lake. Picnic spots, grills and even nice clean dual gender bathrooms and a small playground with well maintained open fields.
Clean bathrooms, nice trail around lake, friendly people. Just plan on street parking if you don't have your discovery pass
Really clean park. Great lake. It is warm. Bathrooms are always clean. Can get a lil crowded in the summer on hot days but we'll worth is.
Love the walk around the lake. Always Beautiful. Must have a park pass to park in lot.
Beautiful park! Great for swimming and canoeing.
Clean. fun.walking trails. swimming goodfishing. play toys for kids great place too be
Beautiful setting, warm lake.
Super clean bathrooms, nice swimming area. Fishing wasn't too good but we had a blast! We will be back!
Very peaceful area beautiful fall leaves
Great time with my 7 year old grandson today. He played on the playground equipment for a while and then we walked around the lake. I enjoyed taking photos of things as we walked.
Very nice park. Gravel path with lots of shade. Seating includes picnic areas and benches. Saw people canoeing, fishing and swimming. It also has a play area and canopy with views of the lake.
Beautiful peaceful
Nice park for kids and adults :)
A great place for a stroll around a lake. Fishing is so so with not much access. The park can get a little busy in the summertime.
Nolte State Park (known locally as Deep Lake) is a gem. The park has a 1.4 mile trail around a small lake. Running, walking, mountain biking, swimming and family picnic activities are all popular activities...all for the bargain price of a state parks Discovery Pass. Be aware that in the Winter, restroom access and garbage collection are limited. If you are in the area need a little outdoor fix...this is a great option.
Nice little lake, lots of people were there having fun the sunny day I went. Kayak fished the lake with little luck, no bites, fish were surfacing though toward evening.
Beautiful hike with lots of little beaches.
The lake was perfect! Lots of tables thriught the trails.
Love it! Beach not super sandy, more rocky-water shoes or sandals recommended. Steep entry, but still had fun and my toddler loved playing in the rocks while the big kids swam and went out on tubes and paddle boards. Not too far of a walk from parking lot. Trail around the lake is great too with the whole family.
Perfect place for a quick 30 minute dog walk! Quiet and serene, easy terrain, and close to home.
Awesome place for picnic , fishing , or just a walk around the lake for some exercise
There is a great wooded trail that's about a mile long, nice beach swimming area
Wonderful place for a quieter picnic or shorts jog around the lake
Great swimming, fishing and walking the trails!
Beautiful park
Great place for swimming, fishing or walking. Get there early if you want good parking. Good clean bathrooms
Love the hike
We go here all the time, one of our favorite places. Lake, hike, BBQs, and a small park.
Great place to go, love the lake for fishing and I'm really hot days to take a dip and if you go there early you can take your lab who's obsessed with swimming and take a swim! You can walk around the lake fully around the lake watch Paragon falcons fish better than you mostly. But it's really busy on a really hot day so I like to go on the down time. Did I mention that I live a mile away down the road so it's probably one of my favorite lakes you should come see!
A beautiful lake with a nice walking & bike path around it. Discover pass required
Always love coming to this place
Nearly level easy 1.5 mile trail loop
Absolutely beautiful here. Clean and well maintained trails offer a quick and wonderful trail through nature. Theres also live otters at the lake which is always a plus.
Great water area. Really flat trail. Playground. Picnic tables.
Nice park ,clean bathrooms. Park it in and Park it out limited parking
Love the Deep Lake area, walking trail, and the fact it is one of the few WA State parks that actually service the restrooms on a regular basis! Nice little park!
Great family place.
Because it's NATURE all around us peaceful and easy to access in or out
Nolte State Park is a very nice good park to go to. Deep Lake is in the park a very big lake of water. The park trails are easy to walk on.
A great place to go Canoeing.
Beautiful clean clear water. I loved this lake!
Great trail to walk around the lake. Fun to float out on the lake on a hot day. Great park.
Great lake for taking the Kayaks out.
Very nice not crowded place
Love this park. The 1.4+ mile walk around the lake is a good walk
We love coming here with the kid and dog.
I was there for a triathlon, amidst all of the hustle and bustle it was a great place
Nice to cool off, but on a hot day there is lots of people and the water is not the cleanest. The playground and picnic areas are well kept.
Great still relax and not that many people
3000 fish planted last week, we didn't catch a single one of them but they were rising like crazy - eagles and osprey were overhead and the park looked beautiful! Looking forward to many more visits ( and a few fish ).
Bathrooms were clean. People at the park were peaceful and respectful. Nice grassy lawns. Trains running nearby can be kinda loud.
This park is amazing. It's super clean and there is plenty of space and picnic tables for everyone. The lake is even clean. It's a great/safe swimming hole since there are no motorized boats allowed. Be aware that there is a $10 day use fee. It's so worth it!
Beautiful day
Ill probably go back
It was great, the fishing was good too.
Surprisingly scenic for a park so close to a major urban area.
One of my favorite places to go for a great picnic on a weekend
Cool park deep into enumclaw, raced a triathlon in the cold lake, solid PNW feel driving out there, fun place for BBQs and such. Worth the drive out, isn't too bad.
The parking lot fills up on hot days, so get there early. Great little lake for swimming, walking, and relaxing. Honestly one of my favorite places in the world.
It's very beautiful and good for everyone
Wonderful atmosphere. Full of birds, fish, trails, frogs. Peaceful. A great place to fish with kids.
Not too busy and its peaceful
Been going to Deep Lake to swim for decades and... the water is dirty. Not "that's because duck and turtle live there or leaves and branchs fall in to decay" mother nature dirty.
Breathtaking, beautiful, clean and not crowded. I fished in quiet beauty, and had my limit by 10:30.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. This is one of our favs. Beautiful grassy areas, beach, picnic tables, bbqs, nice restrooms, walking trail around lake and a playground. Water temp is perfect during late Spring and Summer and even on the busiest of hot days it's never too crowded and always pleasant.
Ok great for kids
This is an excellent place to go for walks. Just always bring a jacket since it can get a bit colder here since it's so close to the Cascades.
Nice little park with a lake view and a trial. Good for tubing in summer.
You will not regret going to this park! One of the best
Always a great spot for play especially after the crowd leaves!
Nice lake, trails easy, well maintained. Look for little army men,lol
Beautiful place to just kick back.
Amazing place to take the kids $10 to park you don't pay $100 ticket suggest a discovery pass or just pay $10
We loved this park and plan on doing a family reunion nearby. Beautiful and serene.
I love this place too. Hike around the lake is scenic. Bathrooms are very ckean
Great park. Tucked away from the hustle and chaos. Never seems to be too crowded. The water is always calm and cool. Good place to go and spend the day. You can fish here too. If you don't have a park pass, it's 10 bucks to park and visit. Parking is shaded and the the entire park is clean. They have plenty of restrooms and even a playground. Also, they have plenty of water fountains to drink out of.
Love the park. Water is warm in summer and fun for the family. Can be crowded on a weekend.
Great state park, nice little lake for a swim, fishing, paddle boarding. Great bathroom facilities, clean. Nice trail for walking the dogs. Great place to get away for the day.
A beautiful small lake with excellent facilities. Great for families and very dog friendly.
We were having a good time until two human turds swam by us. Gross
We love it here
A smaller state park located near Enumclaw, WA.
Nice little
Very good park. Big play area for kids. Nice shelters to reserve or free use. Lake is very beautiful. One can swim or fish in the lake. Non motorized boating is allowed. Restrooms are relatively clean. No shower in the day use area.
Fabulous unpaved trail around Lake Nolte. Covered picnic areas and fishing!
Very nice State Park. Clean, lots of room, restrooms very clean. Would go back.
Love, love, love! This is kind of a hidden park with a great lake. You need to have a parking pass or they will charge you a fee for parking use.
My favorite place to fish! Deep Lake is well stocked with multiple fish specie, and has several spots for a person to cast a line. It also has a little beach for folks who want to swim, and several table/picnic areas and shelters, as well as grills in some areas. The path around the lake is a scenic and easy walk for those looking for a good place to get a little exercise. The bathrooms are the cleanest I've ever seen in a public park! If you want to fish get there early- midmorning there was a lady training two enormous dogs in the water last time we were there, and all their splashing about scared the fish out of the area where we were fishing!
Beautiful Lake. Perfect for a pic nic day
Very beautiful park!! Nice walking trails and beautiful lake!
Love this place! The grounds are well taken care of and very clean. Great restrooms. Wonderful hiking trail, swimming, fishing, and a play area forbtge kids. People park on the street sometimes but a discovery pass lets you park for free.
Really cute little park. Very clean, well-appointed restroom.
Nice trail to walk around the lake, it's pretty short and flat and great for smaller kids. Our son made it around walking when he was just under 3. Has nice bathrooms and parking and a nice little playground for the kids too.
LOVE this park! The 1.4 mile trail around the park was PERFECT for our family with small kids! I was even able to push the stroller the whole way through (even though I'm sure it wasn't built to leave the pavement). The kids were happy and worn out...it was a quiet drive home with a car full of sleeping kids. Nolte is a winner in my book! We will be going back again...and again...and again!
Love the lake
Gorgeous park. Beautifully kept. Quiet and welcoming. Great for kayaking if want to chill on a kayak. Also great for inflatables.
Quiet little park....wish they had concessions!!! And more seating but was still a nice trip.
This was a beautiful place to spend Easter Sunday with my family! It was not crowded, and we had plenty of space to play with the kiddos and have them hunt for the eggs. The lake is bigger than I was expecting, and it has a big, well-maintained hiking trail which encircles the entire lake. We also had fun down on the nice dock, sailing a wooden sail boat toy. This area is very Serene and peaceful with all the birds tweeting up in the large, magnificent trees.
Nice lake and walking trails. Clean picnic areas and playground. Will definitely be back
Clean freshwater lake. Good for swimming.
Love Deep Lake/Nolte State Park! Great walking trail, fun playground for kids, clean restrooms.
A nice place for a picnic.
Great clean place
I’ve this little park with a great swimming lake!!! A perfect spot to spend a hot summer day!
Beautiful spot. Nice bathrooms. Playground, lake, hiking, lots of room to run. Pack a picnic spend the day there.
It is a nice small park but it isn't worth driving a long way for. The lake is neet.
Great getaway spot
Live this place to swim
Needs a rest room on the North end of the lake. Swim at your own risk no lifeguard.
