This Park is classified in the category of State park.
Family friendly. We'll definitely be back.
Great place to spend the day. We just love this park.
nice park, have been coming here for 4 years, but this will be the last time as they have jacked their price up too high. $31 for partial hook ups in a shoulder month is too high and you have to pay for showers on top of that. we just finished a trip to southern Utah and all the state parks in other states are 31% lower with free showers. I don't know how lower income families can afford to camp in Washington
We went camping here on the fourth of July it was perfect cause the park features a likeness of Abraham Lincoln on the mountain across the Columbia river.there is a basketball court, horseshoe pits, playground, swim area with cement steps surrounded by mountains and a island in the middle and a huge grass area for the kids to run.onsite store onsite boat and jet ski rental and shell gas station at parks entrance.
Nice location. Not fond of the shower scenario, but more places are going to that.
Beautiful campsite and a nice retreat from the business of life
So peaceful big camping spots great swim area we will be back
What a great park for families! I visited with my wife and 2 year-old daughter in June 2016 and stayed in one of the cabins. It's peaceful, scenic, and there are a lot of activities for kids. I love this place and will be back!
We stopped to check the place out while heading home from Bridgeport State Park. Looks like a great place to camp next time! Make sure to find Abe while here
It's well kept, lots of open space, rangers are very friendly
Beautiful RVPark. It is one of our favorite places for camping. Lots of activities and the place is well kept.
Great campground for the family!
Came here for camping, (make sure you reserve a spot like 9 months in advance.) Also did our wedding and reception here. I can't wait to come back
Nice area with shade, clean bathrooms, and friendly staff.
I love Lincoln Rock State Park! My family spends quite a bit of time here over the summer. We have camped, had lunch, swam, gone paddle boarding, launched jet skis and attended many bike races. Not far from Wenatchee and always a parking spot for the trailer. We highly recommend a visit!
This park is always immaculate and has everything for all ages and great for anyone by them self or with their family...
Nice and clean. Lots to do there and close to other attractions.
A nice looking state park. I only stayed about 20 minutes because I had to drive further that day
Great park that is well taken care of and has large camping spots. Trailer spot 79 was level and clean and a great pull through spot. 10 minute walk to the swimming spot and boat launch. I would recommend to family and friends. We had a blast.
What a beautiful, well maintained park! Lots of space between sites. Kayak, jet ski, and boat rentals available. Lots of green grass with sprinklers running morning and night. Tennis and baseball courts too. Major boat launch. What more to ask for?
Great park, very well taken care of. The park is nice and green, and plenty of tree's. Good bike and walking trails.
Fun place to camp
Great place for groups and family events. Picnics too. Swimming for all age groups on the Columbia river. The drive through the hills was great. I would go there again. The only disadvantage is if u wanna go there and barbecue you have to carry a gas grill. They don't allow barbecue coal. So be prepared to use gas.
Beautiful, clean park with gorgeous views!
Beautiful park. Everything is so clean and well kept.
Great place to camp, we rented a cabin that was the perfect size for my family to stay. There is impressive trails for walking or biking. The kids loved to swim in the Family man made pool right on the river. There's also a store right in the park so you can purchase ice, food or drinks. Very fun and affordable. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway.
This is one of my top favorites to go camping with the family. Their camping facility is top rate. Sites are always clean and level for quick and easy setup and cleanup. The park does a lot of work to keep their fields and grassy area lush and green.
The greenest ever in the Wenatchee area.
Favorite place to stay!
Nice little park
I love it a lot great!!
Nice clean park
This is our second year here. Great place for the family. Bike riding and .water activities.
Very nice well kept park, lots to do for the whole family.
We love this park! Lots of memories, and always treated with respect from the staff!
I live close by and when you're there you don't even feel like you're close to home.love it!
Beautiful State Park! Camping, day park, boat launch. There are walk trails. The people who work in the little store are very friendly. Just an all around great park!
Great place. Only wish we could make reservations further out.
Very clean nice property. The sprinklers going off everyday getting everything wet is an issue
One of my favorite camping sites. It overlooks the Columbia River. The womens' bathroom has one shower, and it was clean at the time I was there, which was about 1 1/2 years ago.
Great state park. Excellent, large campsites, easy restroom and water access, and easy access to biking trails and waterfront with boat launches and swimming.
Other than the sprinklers coming 0n and getting the inside of the tent wet, we had a wonderful time here. Our site was right near the water with a boat dock and a beautiful view. The chipmunk and birds replaced among the recently vacated sites and was amusing to watch.
Great family campground.
As the son of parents who are never really all that into camping, it wasn’t something that we did very much growing up. Our kids were very excited at the prospect of sleeping in a tent, so we figured we, along with some friends, would give it a try. One of our friends was tasked with finding the spot for us to actually camp. After staying here, we were happy we gave her the responsibility! Lincoln rock state park is located just outside Wenatchee, about two hours from Yakima. It’s basically a park with campsites, and this was absolutely what we were looking for. They have a small store where you can get supplies that you forgot, a nice water front area where people are able to launch boats and some nice areas to swim in the river at a couple of small inlets. There were plenty of trails, lots of shelter for BBQs and a nice play structure for kids to climb on. The bathrooms are exactly what you would expect to find a park, but it was excellent to have a place to go to the bathroom that wasn’t a hole in the ground. They also have showers that are available, though you do have to use tokens to use them. One token is $.50 and get you about three minutes of hot water. Roughing it for some, not rough enough for others, exactly the balance we were looking for! Each campsite has a small area for cars to pull in, most had plenty of shade, and all of them had at least one picnic table. You were limited to eight people and 2 tents at a campsite, and they pay attention as our neighbors definitely got cited for this as it looked like a family reunion was taking place. The site rental was something like $30 and these things filled up quick, so make sure you plan early. I’m not sure what makes a campground any better than this other than it being free and/or having WiFi (kinda defeats the purpose, yes?), but either way, this place was exactly what we were hoping for. We’ll plan on staying two nights next time!
Nice park grass spots best camping place i have been to
We have always liked this park. Unfortunately our RV doesn't fit all sites. Lincoln Rock staff went out of their way to accommodate us when the site we reserved was not appropriate for us. They placed us in a site that works well. Next time we will do a more in indepth research before we reserve a site
A great place for kayaking, has a beach for swimming, picnic areas, restroom, camping area.
Greatest campground.though you really need to plan ahead for a site
Love the terrain, lots of mature trees and great camping spots. Visited family didn't get to stay overnight but definitely will.
At the time i was there it was very quiet 4/24. Places of interest in the park seemed to be spaced out well enough where people won't feel over crowded. Boat ramps distantly separated from swimming area distantly separated from play ground area separated from RV hook up sites and cabins. Im gonna look into a cabin rental and will post later what it was like.
My new favorite State park. Clean, spacious, loads of amenities, best tennis courts I have played on.
Park is clean and nice, well laid out. Good for families
Great services and amazing area. The only negative things I can say about it is that sometimes the rangers are rude and sometimes they are inattentive. The two nights we stayed there most recently, someone left their fire going all night and wasn't watching it. The two previous years, Wenatchee had major forest fires after we left, so you'd think they would have a little more thought toward it!
Great place to camp..
Nice amenities clean and easy location. Wind knows how to blow here.
Lot's of shady spots and very clean..has a good swimming area for children
Awsome park...very clean and well maintained
Great place to camp. Look out for the marmots!
Lovely park and a great plave to see Lincoln's face on a Mt.
Really great park. Good camping, nice beach, plenty of parking, good boat ramp. Plenty of shade
Great camping experience for our family!!
Great stop over park when driving across the state. Clean facilities, lush grass fields, great access to river, and diversity of trees.
Fun in the sun!! ❤️ Central Washington
Great camping, swimming, fishing, close to wenatchee, playground, kids loved it will be back there this week.
Lovely hidden getaway.
Here last weekend and came without reservations and still had plenty of tent site options. Ranger was very friendly and helpful. Hot showers and spacious campsites.
We stayed in the cabins the third time now. Lincoln Rock State Park is one of our ffavourite campsite. The park is very well maintained with many sport facilities including a soccer field, a basketball court, a tennis court, a fenced swim area and loading area for boats. This year, we found a self serve kayat rental onsite. The rental fee is very reasonable, it even provded two life jackets. My family had a great paddling in the water. We love the simplicity of the rental process, the great price and no need to haul the equipments with us. The entire experience made the trip more enjoable. On the last night of our trip, we were hit by a thunderstorm. I heard the gusty wind and terrential rain/hail pouring over our cabin. It was a very frightening night. I kept thinking that we were lucky to have stayed in a solid wood structure and not a tent. The next morning, we were uncovered the aftermath, saw the damage of our belongings outside the cabin. Not the way we would expect from a camping trip but certainly made us aware how fortunate we were during the thunderstorm. We plan to return to this state park again in the future.
Great facility to take the family camping or just for an afternoon!!!
like some of the past reviewers said, nice clean spacious Park. I'd like to add that the staff are very nice and friendly and answered all my questions.
Big RV spaces with lots of green grass between. Even our "full sun" spot had some shade. Friendly, helpful staff. Only downer was a cold shower
Nice park with swimming area, boat launch, and playground. Large parking area. Don’t forget your discovery pass. It’s $10/day otherwise.
Nice clean park that's set up for large families or people with 90k land yachts. If your looking for a nice quite escape, forget it. You can expect every kind of seattlite degenerate you can imagine with their screaming brats and seadoos in tow that are savvy enough to make it over the pass. If you want a place to fish, relax, and take it easy for a spell keep your wagon pointed east for at least another 200 miles.
This park is close to Hwy 97 on the Columbia River. It is easy to find and has sites with full hookup. . The campground was clean with lots of green grass, boat moorage was available and we some lots of birds on our morning walk. No privacy but some room between spaces and big spaces with shade trees. It is a large park with lots of day use area, beach, boat launch and campground. We visited over July 4th and were disappointed to see that ½ of the garbage containers had been removed from the park leaving the remaining containers overflowing. The recycle center was packed full and there were signs posted telling us to take our garbage and recycling home with us. We never spotted the rock formation that looks like Lincoln’s head and the signage that used to point it out had been removed. Nice river views and nice playground.
Beautiful place to stay. A bit pricey.
We stopped here for a 2 night layover while traveling from Olympia to Idaho. While being near a town, this park is quite nice. Nicely thought out loops with places for picnics, tents, and RV'S. Not a bad site found. No, its not out in the woods. But the grounds are nice. Big lush spaces with a wide variety of trees complete with rabbits squirrels, and even marmots.
Lots to do, wide open areas to play. Great camp sites with trees, near the river. Connects to the bike trail. Swimming area and play ground. Two types of cabins that are clean, well cared for. Great lace for a get- away
We were camp hosts for the park for the months of April and May 2016 and we've returned for the same duration this year. Without sounding like a travelogue, the 87 acres encompass 100+ RV (full and partial hookups) and tent sites, 2 tennis courts, squash courts, and a basketball court. There is also a full sized soccer field and additional grass fields in the park. Situated on the Columbia River just upstream from the Rocky Reach Dam, there is a boat launch and several floating docks. For the kids, there is a large playground with equipment. For joggers and bicycle riders there are miles of trail systems taking you into the Wenatchee valley. Access to the park is conveniently located off highway 2/97 and the road system within the park easily accommodates even the larger motorhomes and 5th wheelers. Prices are consistent with the amenities and comparable to other state parks.
Clean, beautiful and lots of outdoor things to do and see
Really beautiful campground with nice views. Large camping sites and nice shade trees. Paved pull thru & back in drives/ picnic table pad. Hookup/non hookup options. Close to bike path, numerous docks to park your boat(motor or self propelled) right next to your site. A lot of green space to play. Close to Lisa Bee's (bakery, salads, sandwiches), fruit stands and 8 miles to Wenatchee.
Nice park, well kept, plenty of docks.
Very beautiful place to go for a weekend
Grassy lawns great swim area my top 3 hints 1 bring something to block sprinklers my favorite is to bring to stakes wrapped in garbage bag material so it blocks the spray 2 bring a floaty or sit on kayak. The water is rather cold so having a floaty to get out a ways to dunk is nice. 3 sleep outside on a cot. In my experience I didnt get bit by bugs at all the lack of stagnant water and heat keeps the bugs at bay. The tents just trap heat that will make you uncomfortable. Do set one up though the occasional rain boit does come by but rarely. Great place great view great faculty. Please go.
Great fun! Swimming, fishing, playground, various courts and plenty of wide open green space.
We LOVE Lincoln Rock..I wish all of Washington State Parks were this nice.
Very nice park. Offers all types of spaces.
Beautiful campground and 50 amp service for our class A. We will be back since it’s only 2.5 hrs from Renton. Lots to do and large camp sites with lots of room between spaces. Even has a store on the park grounds. $40.00 per night for full hookup.
Best fishing
Loved it. We love the cabins!!!! Clean park, fun! Much to do. ..
Just a beautiful place with clean bathrooms and great view
There's tons of cute critters everywhere so totally worth the visit just because of that, but it's also a very pretty park with gorgeous views.
This has got to be one of the best, well kept State Parks in Washington. It's clean, facilities are well kept. The views of the river are gorgeous!!! They have camping cabins with beautiful views.
We LOVE Lincoln Rock. Can't go wrong at any site. Next summer we're staying a week and bringing the boat too. Sites are big enough for our 5th wheel, truck and our other car and boat. The boat launch is awesome, concrete all the way down. You wont regret it!! Just remember to take your awning in, it gets really windy!!
Great spot to start up the river from with plenty of tree cover.
Very clean camp sites
Too expensive for over night tent camping only but very clean facilities.
Big spaces, some on the water. Lots of trees for shade.Docks and beach access. Big grassy spaces to play, playground ,volleyball and other game spaces. A gem!
Clean, beautiful, not many parks nicer than this.
Need to prune some trees for better tv reception
This place is amazing
This is a super campround and park and probably my favorite to stay at in the area. Strongly recommend!
Beautiful campground, very clean right on the Columbia river.
Beautiful campground on the Columbia River. Friendly staff and well managed grounds. Watch out for the sprinkler schedule and don't forget your shower tokens!
We love this park and have made it a summer tradition. It's so clean and well kept and great for groups.
Great park with huge grass fields to walk the dogs. Friendly staff and large spaces between units. We will be back. Canucks from Peachland BC.
Very clean and modern
Nice place to camp. Restrooms w/ showers - clean! Great walking just around the whole campground.
It's a nice big park, its beautiful for pictures because of all the trees. Only problem is lots of goose droppings everywhere! Had to look down constantly to make sure I didn't step on any.
Very good camp site
Proposed to my beautiful wife on the end of the dock here at sunset... favorite place, getting a little crowded these days
This state park has well maintained showers and all clean facility
Well maintained, great boat ramp, power, water, bathrooms...but Lincoln? Only of you squint really hard.
This is one of nicest Stste psrkd we have ever dtsyed in. Awesome view right from our campsite
The drinking fountains do not work, you have to get water from spiggets next to the trash. They mow the lawn everyday; they will mow right around your tent. They also water the lawn every morning; once again right on your tent.
Well maintained, great boat ramp, water, bathrooms
Great camp ground lots of very well kept grass and facilities. Better now than when visited 3 years ago looks like they great management and help.
Great place to camp hike and bike ride
Very nice facility. I have to get back for sure
Beautiful place. Very nice to get away to
We spent four days at Lincoln Rock State Park and really enjoyed the campsite. Plusses included enough space on the sight for our four tents, plant of room between campsights and the ability to have a boat slip immediately adjacent to our campsight. Word of warning, look carefully for the sprinklers before you set up your tent. They do irrigate on weekdays, and you don't want to find out about a sprinkler under your tent when it starts spraying.
Beautiful Park well cared for by staff and volunteers.
Best state park in Washington I've been too, grounds are well kept, great facilities, has playground and swimming areas for kids.
Nice huge lots. Friendly staff.
We so wanted to love this park. It has a lot going for it. We rented one of the four riverside cabins. We had hoped their location near the river meant easy river access, but that stretch of the river is fenced off due to its proximity to the dam. The swim beach was a 5 minute bike ride or 10 minute walk away. It was unseasonably warm during our June stay (108) so we appreciated the AC in the cabin but it meant we couldn't enjoy much the park had to offer. It was even too hot to go to the playground most of hte day. However we did hope to have a nice bike ride one morning before it became too hot. We set out on the paved bike trail that extends from the park all the way south into Wenatchee, only to find the trail closed after a mile due to pesticide spraying in the area. From the signage it sounds like the trail is closed for several months in the spring/ early summer. It was too bad as the idea of that bike trail, running along the river past fruit orchards, is wonderful. But if it's going to be closed for a good part of the biking season what is the point of having it there? We probably would not return to Lincoln Rock but, at the right time of the year, this could be a lovely place to stay.
We will come back every year. Love the camping here.
Having been at the Lincoln memorial 2 weeks earlier it was interesting to see It has a natural rock out crop that looks like Lincoln's face,
We have gone camping here every year since I was a kid (15+ years). We love that the water is hot and the water is cool!
A nice, well kept, state park. Boating docks, playground, and a bike trail that connects with Wenatchee Loop Trail.
Very nice.
The area is clean, parking isn't ideal, there isn't really an easy way to get down to the water without busting your ankles on teetering rocks. The pictures online male it look a lot easier to get down. All parks should be accessible when possible.
Great place to spend an afternoon or evening for a few hours. You don't have to camp overnight to use the park, but you need a park pass, or pay for daily use. Take a quick dip or have a late after-work picnic. Lots of shade, swimming area, boat launch, playground equipment, leashed dogs allowed
Great spot for water sports. Sites are spacious and not too close to the neighbors. Only 10 mins from Wenatchee.
One of my favourite parks in the entire parks system. Staff sp friendly, park is spotless facilities extremely clean.
Clean.Lots of room in your pull thru for you to park. Loved the big shade trees as it was 96 degees when we stayed.
Very nice place for camping with kids but: 1. Water in the river is very cold 2. Some facility near by makes buzz for the whole night, every night ruining otherwise perfect summer night experience.
Loved it. Water is awesome, shallow, gravel bottom so no seaweed. Lots of boating, jet skiing opportunities. Paddle board rentals. There are soccer fields, a backstop for baseball/softball, perfect for out of town teams wanting to stay and even practice. The Rangers are great, nice, even though I got a noise complaint, te-hee. All seriousness we deserved it. Hey! I'm on vacation here!! Big sites. You can put as.many tents as you can fit. Limit of 8 people per camp
Nice park, roomy sites with privacy.
Great overall experience there was however some construction going on at the sub station close by and they start really early
Beautiful area
Great state park.
Nice and quite, it's all about relaxing and swimming and the view.
Always a great place to walk the dog, so many places to explore.
Loved it nice place need pass thoe
Very nice, awesome scenery
Beautiful area. Nicely appointed park.
Nice little park
Open in winter! Nice clean bathrooms. Wonderful rest stop on the Columbia. Need Discover Pass to stay.
Wonderful place but has some grumpy unreasonable hosts.
Fun place. Plenty of shade and tables when we were there, which was on a Saturday. The bathroom facilities seemed nice and clean. There is a fun little beach area for the smaller kids with gravel instead of sand. Most people seemed to be there primarily for the boat launch.
This place was clean with well established trees for shade. Great swimming area with grassy spaces and plenty of picnic tables. Bathrooms were pretty clean with two shower stalls. Dock spaces are also available for rent during your stay.
Beautiful place
First class describes this State Park. It offers camping, RVs, cabins, boating, trails, sports, and more. The grounds are beautiful in the deep gorge of the Columbia River. Great for day-use too. Grab your kids or grandkids and have a memorable picnic. A bike trail connects with Wenatchee too.
Went there during a weekday. Park was not crowded. Lots of green areas plus beach access for Columbia river.
Clean park and lots for kids to do
Beautiful
Riding with Jody the view from my prospective are breathtaking and open for fun in sunshine, picnics, walkers and kids
Nice campground. Beach is rocky but there water is clear. Will come again!
If you live in Washington and you don't get an annual Discover Pass, you're missing out. Camping is $25 a night and a 6 minute shower is 2 tokens ($1).
Great family park complete with swimming area, boat launch, little convenience store with fishing tackle and ice cream. You can even rent a jet ski and have some real fun if the mood strikes.
