Camp hosts were very polite and made sure I had everything I need. My campsite was very private from other and it seems most are like that. It is far away from major traffic so it is quiet and peaceful out here. There is a Marina nearby if you enjoy that kind of thing. Trails are short but offer some views. Will come back during the summer. This is a year round camping spot.

Cute, but very a small Marina and mooring buoys are quite close together.

Ancilla Sequeira

Small place and Peaceful for a camping trip. Lots of water activities to do. Fishing, crabbing, clamming, boating etc. Volunteers at the park are very nice, patient, and helpful .The only drawback is there is only 1 bath room and 3 toilets. Which gets a little congested .

Nice quiet lil campground. Nice showers. Great trails and access to the saltwater. My kiddos live it there! They also have a nice group camp.

Natka Bebka

Nice park, clean and neat with wild deers and singing birds. Has restrooms with electrical outputs and hot showers.

Torra Kimbul

Clean bathrooms (with a shower) shared by both day visitors and overnight campers. A short and easy walking path through the woods and along part of the water with some great plant variety and some lovely views. Water has some docks to walk along, but most water access is boat related.

This place is filled with northwest white trash trailers and generators. Air was filled with cigarette smoke and place smelled like beer and piss. Can't believe this is a park. Looked like a concert campground. Bathrooms were worse. I have seen refugee camps that look and smell better. So many off leash dogs running around. Dog poop. Sad.

Christine Thomas

Jenny Amundsen

You have to own a boat to enjoy this spot.

Sheila F

Very clean open camp ground. Easy access to salt water, beautiful scenery, south a visit. The only sad part is that it's becoming reservation only next year, no more spontaneous visits.

donjaime23

Meh. Campsites are small, out in the open with little privacy. Walking trails are small and unremarkable. Considering there are way better campgrounds in the area, I sadly have to say that this place is better for a day picnic than for a camping trip.

Scott Radford

A must see on a visit to Harstene Island. Great walking trails, boat launch. Note: Discover Pass required (bring yours or purchase a daily pass onsite). State Park camp hosts onsite much of the time.

Sean Wooster

Krys Wylie

Nicely secluded, roomy but still woodsy. Very clean, nice bathrooms. Campsites are a little small. Lots of trails and access to the dock.

Fantastic family fun.

Great place to dock and play horse shoes. Very clean and well maintained.

happy to disappoint

Went there today for the first time and it was immaculately kept. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked, the lawns were mowed and the paths were even and clear. Took our stroller on the short hiking trail and had no trouble. This would be my ideal destination if I was going to camp with an elderly or handicapped family member, or little kids. Only thing that's make it better would be a play structure. And maybe another trail. And be bigger. Seriously, this place was beautiful. Want more just like it.

Beautiful views! Has a small but great trail system! Love supporting our Uh-Mazing State Parks!! As the State budget for State Parks dwindles, I happily cough it up to keep these jewels open and Staffed!!!

Neat little state park that we were going to try and use for a long run route but the running routes are pretty short. Could see it being a great spot to camp and go on short little walks around the campground though.

It is a decent park to visit. It's got a few camp sites and plenty of daytime parking. There is even a boat dock iffin' you own a boat and you want to sail it to the park. The park itself is pretty small. An added bonus: it has indoor restrooms and indoor showers.

Bullseye 276

Joshua Page

Beautiful park except for the low income apartments there.

Jeannette Barber

Beautiful marina, nice and quiet, wonderful people.

Helen Kirkwood

A lovely small park with two boat docks. Both secluded and open sites. The staff is awesome: ranger, park employees and camp hosts! The grounds and restrooms were clean clean clean. As is the case with the state park reservation system, it is not accurate with regard to sites that can be reserved. I will call next time rather than trust the website.

Anya Provident

Great camp grounds and facilities.

Steve Carson

Nice park, no dump station. Great trails to wander around.

mobilepcupgrades

Unique and private campsites on the hill where you couldn't see a neighbor if you don't mind packing your gear a bit from the car - we did and loved it. The campsites on the flat were more traditional "park close to your tent" sites. The ranger, assistants and the hosts were some of the friendliest people I've met. Large very clean restrooms. We had a great time here but had we heeded this sign after crossing onto the island or the sign as we entered the park we would have turned around as they both said the park was full.

Renee Witgenstein

Elizabeth Harris

Had a blast...local firefighters came to campsite and gave tour of their firetruck

Brigitte portugal

Great camping spot. Live music, horseshoe games and fishing. Bathrooms were clean and camp host was awesome!

Dave Scobie

Wonderful marine and land park. Excellent dock and many buoys. Much nicer location off-season as late-May through late-September can be very busy with no space available. The marine pumpout station has been closed ... a problem a lot many of the state's parks (guess the state wants boats dumpings holding tanks into the Sound?!?!?).

Beautiful space. The group camping site is close enough to be convenient, but just far enough to feel isolated and offer some privacy.

Brian

Great little park with approximately 20 camping spots, 2 with rv hook-ups. Also has 2 boat docks and a restroom with flush toilets and showers. The place was extremely quite and peaceful, I could easily spend a few days here camping and sit around a fire or play horseshoes in the nice pits.

Beautiful!

Cute, sheltered water park. Bare minimum basics store at the Marina (Marine is on other side of inlet so plan on a water crossing however you do it, only couple hundred feet away) little spendy though, $15 for moorage 21' or less land campsite $32 night.

Quiet, beautiful. Car camped at the group site. Lots of privacy. The other sites has pretty much no privacy nor shade. The ranger is super nice. There's am amphitheater and they had a nature talk over the weekend which was awesome.

Julie Fahlgren

What a hidden little gem. We stayed here on our trip to the rain forest and this campground was clean and the host were very nice and welcoming. We would highly recommend coming here. We also will make a point of coming back.

Jan Taylor

A very basic campground. More for marine folks. You know who you are!
