REVIEWS OF Deception Pass State Park IN Washington

Barbara and Bill Reimer

Beautiful state park. Great for a easy hike and scenic views. Hope to take my family back some day.

Penny Kolpin

Bathrooms were spotless. I loved it here. Great hiking and kayaking..The staff is wonderful. The sound of the jets didn't bother us at all.

Crystal Frye

Absolutely gorgeous. Well maintained park with loads of beach space so you don't feel crowded. I recommend going to the east side near the bridge. Much less crowded and amazing views. Fun trails to hike- the one we took was steep and kind of rough as far as rocks and tree roots but for adults and older kiddos its great. There were lots of easy-in/out places to access the beach and the bathrooms were clean and stocked. Keep an eye out for painted rocks to post on Facebook rock groups. Lots of great artists in the area that hide them there.

Craig

This is a hidden secret so close to the Canadian border. A real gem that I’ve taken my family to every year for 12 years straight. Great private campsite, well kept park, the ocean views are spectacular, nice swimming lake and nearby hikes are plenty. Also 15 minutes away from oak Harbor so lots of amenities if you forgot something at the camp spot.

Hima bindu Bhoopathy

Nice place to enjoy a small trail(.3 miles) and end up near water.

Joan Wright

There really isn't anything like this place. It's just spectacular! Truly a bucket list!

Lisa P

Pay the 10 bucks and explore the state park and see the sites. If in northern WA stopping by the bridge is worth it. Beautiful views, seen lots of sea life took some amazing photos. You won't be disappointed

Daniel Berman

Incredible views and atmosphere. Hiking and cool spots to explore all over the park.

T D

Very beautiful place. Parked on the side before approaching the bridge. Then walked across both bridges. Try to do both sides as the view is breath taking from both. To get across the street there are two under the bridge passes. We also walked down to the beach where signs of how strong the water current has rounded out alot of the rocks into smooth round pebbles. Great for barefoot rock walking! Also along the way is a casino with a chevron station. Cheapest branded gas I've seen around.

Stephanie Chadwick

Beautiful beach. Amazing views. Plenty of parking. Took awhile to get there because it is so popular, but you can see why. $10 to get down to beach.

Steve Brien

Spectacular views of Deception and Canoe pass. Park and walk the bridges. A short drive across is not enough to truly enjoy these views. Hiking is varied and great in this park

Marcos Reed

One of my most favorite places to breathe in clean air and get close to the raw elements of our natural world.

Matthew Carter

A great place to relax among the trees, get into the water or even relax on the beach with sand instead of rocks. Walk along the bridge and take photos of the fast moving currents. Very picturesque!

Axel ulen

Come here to watch the tidal changes - seriously! The narrows here offer a glimpse of the force of water. The area is also stunningly beautiful.

Alex Titus

This is an absolutely gorgeous park on north Whibey Island. There is ample parking in the fall, but only one camp ground open. In the summer there are two beautiful camps and a lake for swimming!

Jesse Smith

The park was nice although we didnt spend a lot of time there. We walked up to the bridge overlook and down to the beach. Worth the stop if you are driving through!

Jonathan Helinek

Hiked the Goose Rock Summit trail, starting from the Perimeter trail. On a beautiful day with good visibility, you get some great views from the trail. Be warned, the summit trail has some pretty steep sections. Overall though, a great trail. We took our dog (on leash) and he had a great time as well.

honey hive

Wear shoes with adequate traction. There are many roots and rocks and mud on the trail making it a bit slippery in places but all in all a thoroughly enjoyable.

Adam Ninja

The views from the bridges here is incredible. And will make your knees buckle. You have to pay $10 to park if you don't have a Discover pass. Or if you get lucky you can find a spot on the side of the road. But I'm not sure that's allowed or by design. Worth checking this place out regardless.

Linda Connelly

*gorgeous views. *easy hiking trails that follow beach Puget Sound vistas. *popular destination, so loads of people. *Many, many trail options from which to chose. Also fun to walk across the famous bridge for the views.

Paul Bartz

Breathtaking views! The cost is US $10.00 for entry on the honor system. The bridge is the show, but the hiking trails are nice, too. Depending on time of day parking may be tight.

Pauline Fox

Beautiful, lots of biking, kids feel safe to explore, dog friendly, nearby hiking, beaches, and scheduled activities too. Great place for car camping. Not very private and sometimes neighboring campers are a little loud, so go in with that in mind. Best to reserve minimum 8 months in advance to get best campsites.

Elilai Bing

Great place to go for a day trip. Nice little trek to the beach and just great views. Saw jellyfish float by. It's peaceful. At the visitors booth you can purchase tickets for jet boat tour under the Bridges and around the islands. $40 for adults. Bring your discovery pass.

Don Jaques

Simply amazing hikes beaches and camping in multiple areas. Don't miss Bowman Bay and Rosario Beach on the Fidalgo side of the pass.

Dale West

Incredible views, it can be very, very noisy with extremely low flying jets screaming by every few minutes. Most of the time it's brief, but it may go on for hours, very late into the night. Lots of small fish in the swirling water, larger salmon, quite a few seals, some with pups. Twisted knarled trees and rocks. Absolutely beautiful!

Marie B

We reserved the temporary group campsite. It was far from everyone else and very ideal as our group can get very loud and we had a large group of 48 age ranging from 2 to 70. The grounds are nice and clean, a little slanted but can find really good spots for tents. There were plenty of picnic tables available. The BBQ grill were small and stationary, I'd suggest bringing your own. The restroom was not far, maybe about 50 yards away. However, the shower is a drive and can get lost through the campground. There is water source by the group camp and that was really helpful. The groupsite is really close to the highway so we heard cars and saw headlights. Looking forward when they get the new group site, maybe the showers will be closer.

Dan Harveland

Great campground with lots of beautiful views. Expect large number of people so lake and main shore areas will be busy. With plenty of spaces in the area it isn't too difficult to find a quiet place.

Heinz Kirkpatrick

One of best places to camp around Puget sound. Single campers would do well to hike, bike or bus into park to make use and availability of hiker/sites which are cheaper and more accessible. This park fills up fast.

Patricia Koleini

Beautiful, but too much airplane noise. Lots of wildlife in the water.

Lysander hubbard

Loved it, just pitch a small 2 person beach canopy and you could hang out there all day and fabulous sunsets.

Erik Nelson

One of my favorite state parks in Washington! A rare gem, with something for everyone! Views that are incredible, swimming in fresh or saltwater. Sandy beaches, hiking trails, fishing freshwater and saltwater right next to each other. Camping, picnics whatever you are into. You will need a state park pass to park your vehicle but entirely worth every penny!!

Hans Wu

Beautiful state park, lots of green. There are beaches. Places for fishing. Plenty of parking. And the deception pass bridge is a beauty. The view from the bridge itself is breath-taking (if not scary)

Larry Nelson

Absolutely beautiful. Would visit again. Only downside was Navy F/A-18 training from nearby airbase was extremely noisy.

Jeorgia Harris

Words can't discrimination the peace and calm that I feel standing on the bridge and looking out over the water

Victoria Lajoie

Deception Pass is beautiful. As a Washington native this is a place I love to come. It shows the beauty and power of water.

Marcia LaSalle

Such an amazing campground with extremely friendly and helpful rangers! Not to mention the views!

Rebecca Cone

Made a day visit, gorgeous park with decent amount of trails. The map given at the entrance is not very helpful, more advertising than information on trails and amenities.

Justin Paterson

Beautiful park. If you want to do some camping its worth the drive.

Bela Konya

Deception Pass is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. All of the campgrounds are awesome and all of the Rangers are awesome. Will be back

Kristina Madrid

Beautiful location. The sound is stunning no matter what time you visit. Today we stopped here during sunset, it was almost magical. There was an orca breaching and shooting water out, such a peaceful moment. This is a great place to hike at or just stop quickly for a wonderful view.

Solomon Masala

Breathtaking beauty with access to amazing beaches and gorgeous hikes with water vistas. This is classic Pacific Northwest beauty with relativity easy access. It does get pretty popular in summer and sunny holidays, so plan accordingly. Lots to offer between Anacortes and Oak Harbor if you are visiting the area.

lyee chong

Beautiful views. If you don't have a discover pass, I'd' recommend parking by the bridge, but not in the paid parking area. That way, you can walk down to the beach for free and walk across the bridge right away. Regardless of where you park, you'll end up hiking through the same areas anyway. Might as well park for free.

Nathan Rynning

Very beautiful! I think I have stayed here more times than any other place, great camping, fun people! Gorgeous sunsets and the bridge itself is always a site to take in!

Jill Marie

Great camping. Bathrooms were a little walk. Beach was amazing. Lake was crowded and murky.

Not very easy to enter or leave either. once you set your sites on Deception Pass park, it is a sight unlike many others. But, the narrow path there and back can be, in a word, challenging. It will test your skills as not only a driver but parking, and safety as you try to get in and out of one part or another of the quite large "park." Once a person comes around the corner and sees the bridge, it seems that's where the slight terror and deception of passing over it. Sure, you can see very little of the bridge on either side driving, but when a vehicle of any size comes off the bridge before you start on your almost blind corner and even more narrow path it's sometimes a challenge not to stop because of a larger vehicle coming or a pedestrian trying to cross, to someone trying to turn into one of the very few parking spots. The south parking for the bridge is just that, parking for people that are going south, but almost no one notices the unbroken line along the road, or the fact that oncoming traffic really cannot see you until just before there upon you. But it seems that no one has the time to find a parking spot or are able to navigate through tight spaces. In the peak of summer traffic is sometimes slowed to a halt because a small vehicle has stopped for any number of reasons, from trying to let another vehicle onto the bridge at its corner turns to get on and off to other incoming traffic trying to turn into what is essentially an illegal left turn into the parking. However difficult it may be to get onto this part of the park, when a person makes it out there able to see and have some great pictures and see down to the ever changing tidal conditions under the bridge. Besides all I've just described, the waters under the bridge and picturesque sun sets will be unforgettable. Boats of all sizes and types come and go through that channel, it's just from above it looks as if the waters could just suck them under without a moment's notice. Be assured that very few have fallen under that situation, some even take kayaks, in groups, in and out along the coastline all the way up to a nice jet boat ride the park does. Either are very fun and educational too, if you can stop looking at the endless views. on a good day you may even see some of our fighting men and women in the air doing practice runs for our country's safety. This is just one tip on the journey that is Deception Pass Park. Mear words cannot describe the clear views or what you may see at any given day!

Troy Arnold

Campgrounds were nice and quiet. A very peaceful and relaxing couple of days. Camping in any Washington state Campground is very expensive. I guess it's a good thing I'm disabled and pay 50%.lol

Joshua Czajkowski

This park is amazing! It's so much more than just the bridge over the water, which is what most people stop here for I think. Treat yourself and go to the actual state park just a few miles down the road and you'll find a great beach, trails, lots of stuff for the kiddos to do, excellent swimming area. When we stopped over the weekend they had the Junior Rangers going on and my 4 year old was able to participate and had tons of fun!

Sharene Adams

This is a must see! It's a beautiful area. Family gatherings and hiking combined. Beautiful views of the Pacific. Good for all ages.if you don't want to hike there are other access points to the beach. Picnic areas are on point! Built in stoves and clean areas for a get together.

Leah Beah

A MUST SEE! An unforgettable experience. Beautiful trails for hiking in forests of lush, vibrant Washington foliage. An old, extremely high bridge with breathtaking views of the dangerously fast flowing blue waters below. While there I personally observed a pod of otters, some kind of seal (more than likely a harbor seal) and eagles. There are public restrooms.

Gustavo Benitez

A must see place to see if you're exploring the outdoors in Washington state. Very popular so expect to see plenty of car and foot traffic. Walking across the bridge is a must and awesome experience.

Barry Mason

Beautiful park with everything you would want. Seaside, beautiful views, hiking trails, and picnic area. The bridge also has amazing views. Saw seals swimming under the bridge and four or five Great Blue Herons.

Steven Geis

Pretty park. If camping make prior reservation. Jets from NAS Widby Island fly over a lot and make an otherwise great park a little less natural. F-18's are loud!

Michael Tuffey

We really enjoyed our time. The air felt clean and fresh. The view was wonderful.

Russell Collins

I've been going here for years and it never gets old. I love coming through solo on my motorcycle or with my whole family out for a summer car camping trip. The lagoon gives kids a safe place to splash around. There are tons of trails. The nearby jet boat tour is always fun as well.

Philip Mackall

Lots of good hiking with ups and downs. Good view from the bridge. Our trail was blocked and we had to detour to the road - but, only for a short way.

David Dabling

If not the best state park in Washington it is close. Also if you have a big event look into the Coronet Bay Retreat Center. It is a camp, not a fine resort, but the facilities include large kitchen/dining hall, recreation hall with small kitchen two large dormitories, and cabins. The cabins are rustic but overall the place has lots of options. Also half way between Oak Harbor and Anacortes. The overall part hasviews and trails. Awesome place.

Don O'Grady

Awesome park and amazing beauty. The trails along the bluff were great. We want to go back and see more

Doug REID

It was worth the drive to see the rocks & waters that were part of the historic confusion that beset the earliest European explorers. We made a short day trip (more like half a day) but I think that we should have taken more time and seen more of the island itself. (Labor issues had killed the ferry back to Seattle, something we learned the hard way, alas.)

Elle Kasser

Amazing views! We also enjoyed watching a playful seal and a heron, who was catching fish one by one. There's small trails you can take down by the bridge and find very scenic locations.

Hruday Kumar Voruganti

An amazing place while it's an amazing weather outside. Very clear sky with well defined trails and well maintained. The trails are easy as well and great views.

Jordtron Ignacio

Beautiful park with an unforgettable view. And it's free to enjoy. The parking situation isn't ideal, and is pretty dicey, so be careful of that, but it is worth it.

James Mabe

I just live this place and alsi i love the ocean so its a win win for me

Catherine Morales

Beautiful country had fun camping with the family for 4 days in a tent food cooked over a fire snores and fun times exploring the beach and parks the guys even went craving which we put the catch into a seafood paela that night yum this is our second time back here to camp will be back

Tanyia Abrahamson

This is one of my favorite places I. He world. This is where my dad took me the first time I met him... I also let some of his ashes go here. So for me it is so special.

Denise Barlock

Beautiful park and the bridge is just amazing! Well worth visiting/touring if in the area. Just amazing place.

Erik VanDivier

The park itself is great but the tent campsites at Quarry Pond, sardines aren't even packed that tight. It's awesome to hear your neighbours roll over, unzip their bag/tent, cough, fart, etc. and it sounds like they're in the tent right alongside you. Tired after a long day of exploring Deception Pass, let the serene sounds of Highway 20 lull you to sleep, and wake you up 30 minutes later, and 30 minutes after that... Campsite boasts flush toilets and showers, and each site has power and water so you can plug in your Instapot and make a banging meal. I'm sure there are better campgrounds within the park, Quarry Pond isn't one of them.

Jeanne Anderson

Exceptional park. Easy parking and awesome exploring. Views from Heaven. Bathrooms not super friendly for elderly or wheelchair. But you can day camp and have a blast with your family with the beach right at your parking spot.

Joanne Lee

Beautiful. If you like jets, at certain times of the day, the jets from the naval base fly over.

Carol Stevens

Beautiful place to stop off the highway but you have to have a Discovery Pass or pay $10 to park. But you can walk out onto the bridge and it's a few hundred feet off the water pretty cool

Seth Higham

Love West Beach. The North is more scenic, but the West has more to do for kids. Cranberry Lake is great and there are facilities there to picnic and shower. Had a food truck there when we went, but not sure if that is posted anywhere to find out in advance.

robert jackson

Love this place..when we cant get to ocean ...next best place. Need rec pass. Beautiful hikes under and around bridge. Short 1.2 mile hike to beaches that you see from bridge. Keep eye on water, as there are floating logs. Always be aware. Some sea glass, agates. Best finds occuring in winter.

Breanna B

Lovely outdoor experience for everyone, whether you go with a group or alone. I go there for long outings 2-3 times a year and still have a lot to explore.

Edward Monk

One of the nicest parks, in the Pacific Northwest. It's absolutely beautiful, and so close!

GRV

Nice campsites, well maintained, excellent shower and rest room facilities. But, most of all, great hiking trails along a rugged Northwest shore and the sound of the surf when you lay down in your sleeping bag at night.

Veronika Angelina Gudiyeva

Beautiful location! Great for the whole family! Be courteous to pedestrians as you’re driving and be aware of drivers when you’re walking... pick up any trash you bring in and make sure to snap a photo! Views are epic and we even saw a bald eagle fly over ya a few times !

Jeremy Moya

I've driven through a few times and finally had the chance to stop. It was amazing. The bridge view is something to experience. The islands and bay is also beautiful. The beach is a great location to hang out and a ton of places to explore. There are boat tours which is fun with different options. There is also pirate history there if you are into that. Take the time to explore if you can. Well worth the trip. Getting there later in the day makes it easier to find parking in the small lot to just be prepared if you go mid day.

Mark Leslie

It's stunning but the four stars instead of five is that it's just not big enough. Deception Pass is easily missed but shouldn't be if you're touring state and national parks within 75 miles of Seattle.

Matthew Harris

Good hiking trails, beautiful beaches, and grand views from the bridge up top. Remember to bring your Discover Pass or you'll spend $10 at the gate. Parking is limited up top, but you can park inside the park and walk up.

Aldo Hernandez

Beautiful scenery! I love walking over the bridge. The park itself was very clean and tidy as well as safe for everyone. Great place to go walk around and learn about what the northwest has to offer.

Jennifer Fosters

One of my most favorite places on earth. Good memories spent with family and friend's. Lots of activities here. Camping, swimming, boating, fishing and many places to picnic.

Gabriel Gross

This place was incredibly beautiful. We hiked around and explored for hours and could have stayed much longer. Very unique vegetation and landscape. This place is one you won't soon forget.

rod rawls

What a great place to visit. Any place where you can sit under a pine tree and watch the waves is good for the soul. On our visit the park was very clean, and the facilities were well maintained. At the other end, it's a great view to stand on the bridge and look down at the dire straits. A highly recommended stop if you're in the area.

Camila Matamala-Ost

What and incredible place. Definitely worth the drive. The sunset here was beautiful. Make sure to bring a state parks pass and walk under the bridge.

Max Pietsch

I got one bar by the Quarry Pond Campground cabins, two bars by the cabins by the water. Beautiful place to camp sometime.

Saff Michael

Underrated Washington must-see landmark. Breathtaking is the only description. Traffic is a bit dangerous but you must see this view

Melanie Rivera

Extremely beautiful views of the water islands and mountains. We took a nice hike. You do have to wear comfortable shoes for the hike and have stamina as you are going up at a fast rate.

Emily Goodright

Beautiful park, lots to do and see, nicely maintained, only complaint was long walk to the bathroom from our camp site, not a problem until you have to do it with little kids that just woke up and have to go!! Lol otherwise everything else was perfect!

Shannon Vanas

This is one stop I always take my out of state visitors. The views are just awesome and its fun to walk across the bridge, lots of photo ops for free! Its always nice to go under the bridge and walk along some of the trails, its a nice quiet place to be. I go there on my own as well for that reason. Its all just very pretty and calming, who doesn't need that?!

Gomi Male

Always a good place to visit. Very family friendly. KEEP YOUR DOG ON A LEASH THOUGH - or you risk a fine. I let ours go in the lake, off leash, away from people into the freshwater lake to rinse off the ocean sand - and was approached by a ranger. I had to be in the lake with the dog on-leash to avoid the fine.

Nails It

The noise from the jets was a real bummer. It's was fun for the first 15 minutes after that not so much. Getting woke up at 1 or earlier from them isn't my style of camping. Good campground other than the jets... The beach is great cranberry lake was too. Plenty of trail running/hiking to be done. The deception pass bridge is awesome. Man if it wasn't for those jets! Won't be coming back any time soon.

Fatima Smith

One of my favorite places on earth. I cannot express how incredibly happy and at peace this little spot made me feel. I must’ve visited this park 3-4 times in the span of just over a month and made sure to explore every trail there was. Absolutely stunning.

F Daniel Nguyen

Nice little park by the ocean. Can be loud, but only had one jet fly directly over us the evening we arrived. The parks page is very forthcoming so don't be surprised when an f18 buzzes your campsite. Otherwise, sites are quiet and many offer lots of privacy. Nice that there are plenty with power and water. Lots of hill throughout the park which can be problematic for younger bikers. Overall, fantastic long weekend exploring the pacific northwest

Abbie Doodle

There's many places to walk, hike, and sit and enjoy the water. There's seals that like to hang out around the edges of the beach!!

Darlene Olvera

Deception Pass State Park is a great place for family and friends to spend the day. With the water and mountains and hiking trails you can easily take up a whole day of sight seeing. It is absolutely beautiful!

K Baker

Entry gates close at dusk so you can’t get a campsite. Not very welcoming for travelers coming in late. Showers only take their tokens. We made a stop before we got there to get quarters for showers but they were no good. You must have $1.00 bills to get tokens from their machines, and they’re $.50 each, so $1.00 only gets you a 6 minute shower. The one star is for the shower temperature actually being hot.

Agnieszka A

Love this park. Both sides of the pass are great. Love the Rosario beach area as well as the Lighthouse Point Hike. Easy and very scenic. It can get crowded though

April Joe

It's very pretty and you can walk across the bridge. The sunset looked amazing. It was a little scary to walk across the bridge because of how high it was, but if you're not afraid of heights, its totally worth it.

Alexandra Marinets

Love the camp site. There is always something to do for everyone. From hiking to ocean watching to crossing the bridge to swimming in the Cranberry Lake with its warm waters - nice place.

Marshall Gill

Absolutely beautiful location to camp. You can fish saltwater, freshwater, kayaking, paddle boarding, hike, walk the beach fly kites, outdoor concerts, just so much to do. Very clean with lots of privacy, the hosts were outstanding and if your lucky the little coffee stand or store will be open. Only one load group there and for just one night. You need to really book this camp site almost a year out as we did. We had electric and water hook ups. There are bathrooms and showers on site if needed.

Tyghe Vallard

Great views. You can park for free on the North side of the bridge. South side you are supposed to pay a $10 park fee. Doubt it is very enforced, but good to know. Cash only.

Justin

Absolutely beautiful spot. Note that this is a state park and you will need a Discover Pass. Or you can just park there without one like I did

Amber Faust

Awesome Campground, right next to a lake and beach to swim and explore. Coffee truck for those that like a little fancy coffee on vacation. My biggest complaint is that the bathrooms are few and far between so if you are in a tent check the map for the nighttime bathroom trips.

Dennis Everett

Good place to go camping. Except for when it rains, your packing up all your wet stuff, but it's not too bad

P Sjofn

There are many trails and parking areas down to the beach some pretty far walks there's a couple that are close enough for people with handicaps around hard time walking. There is plenty of room on the beach. In the year 2019 there were a lot of people fishing more than I've ever seen.

Loree Slack

10/27/19 Another hike late in the afternoon this time Sharpe Park great short hike with amazing views and lots of bird watching a bit of a challenge in spots, but overall a pretty easy trail, as a matter of fact this entry has trails within trails so keep a eye on what trail you choose. dogs are welcome but please clean up after them and keep them leashed if the park is crowded. Great look outside as well..nice varieties of mushrooms, and plants. Deception pass park what can I say never a dull moment always a cool place to hike. This is around pass lake when you go up Gennette rd.

christopher wieber

Great accommodations, plenty of spaces and plenty of pay showers. There's even a small store within the campground area. The scenery speaks for itself.

James Cobb

Great views over the bridge. Pretty narrow walkway and no way to stop for less than a day. Cheap parking for a long stop though

Chris Matz

Such a cool place! Whether you want to walk along the bridge itself, or get a better view of it from below, there are a ton of options. We went to the north beach at sunset and the views were totally amazing.

Donald Cabansag

Love this camp grounds! We come here every 4th of July with the family! This year we got the group site and it did not disappoint! Best privacy from everyone on the camping side! Always a good time with hiking and fishing and the shrimp shack down the street! Great times as always!

Kim Calloway

Very pretty but the best part of this trip was driving the entire Chuckanut Drive.

Shine

Great view. There are picnic areas and beaches. You can spend several hours there.

Cachet Hoyt

This was a beautiful place with steep embankment and stairs to went to the bottom to the water you can enjoy the scenery walking around up and down the bridge from one side to the other it was beautiful I enjoyed it my family had a lovely time

Kalyanashis Chakraborty

Love this place. Lot of parking available. If you donot get parking just after bridge drive a little further and go right for parking. Lot of seals sea mammals can be sighted. Boat tours are also present. There are small refreshing hikes.

Becky Conway

Washington has so much to see. Deception Pass is so beautiful! Camping is the best way to enjoy nature. Walking on trails in well preserved forest and the beautiful landscape looking out over the water. There's no nothing like Puget Sound. We even watched orcas that my grandson spotted when we down on the beach.

Tim Lawson

The park itself is beautiful. Great walks in the woods. Wonderful beaches. Choose your time to visit carefully. The local navy training base is used by low flying jet fighters. The days we were there they flew very low over the park and were painfully loud.

Ellen Lugome

You will need a State park pass or pay an entry fee. We purchase a pass each year. It is well worth it because there are so many awesome state parks within driving distance. Plenty of parking and it is free. Picnic tables, barbecues, public restrooms, outdoor showers (great to rinse off the saltwater.) There was a food truck selling some decent tacos.

Freya Austin

Fantastic views and little hike around. The history of the area is posted around which was nice. Very busy. But we went during the middle of summer so to be expected. The drive up there was fun. Minimal parking

Lakshika Garg

A place where i can go several times. Its a beauty. I cant describe in words. It's a must visit place and every one should visit this place. My kid was so happy. I loved it more than anything else.
