Nice park with large open areas. The one downside is that it's close to the busy highway which makes it noisy. Camping, boat launch, beach, and more activities are available here.

Great place. Came in late september and raining. Yet stayed an additional day because it was so relaxing. Would have given it 5 stars but coming 100 miles would like knowing i had site if i was coming during busy months

Leann Weathers

Absolutely the best layout for a campground we've ever seen. It's breath taking views of the Columbia River can be seen from most sites. Our site was river front. #16 Camped in 32' fifth wheel. Easy access from hwy 97, paved road and sites. Really large, mostly level spots with trees, tables, fire ring with grate to bbq, manicured grass, boat ramp, bathrooms with free, hot showers! Electric and water only with dump on premises. Self pay, going to reservations next year... Too bad. Very popular park, so reserve early. Park was full the 7 days in July of our stay. Limit stay up to 9 days @ $30/nt. Would be 5 star accept, no alcohol outside, no sewer, no TV, no wifi, but we had cell service and used as a hot spot (Verizon 2bars) and HDTV antenna picked up one Seattle channel... Enough for weather and news. It's 20 minutes from tourist City of Lake Chelan... Lots happening there, (Senior Frogs and tons of water activities) but this park is nice and quiet, especially at night. Family camping good, tents too (same price) up to 8 people per site. We'll be back!

Joel Peterson

No reservations so best to come on Sunday morning.

Maria Velasco

Have much to say about this forthcoming.

We stayed here last year and i would have given it a 4 star then. We came back this year with family and left 2 days early being quite disappointed. This rv park is nicely spaced with campsites not being too crowded together but it is always full. It is frusterating that you can not make any sort of reservations. You never know for sure if you will have a place to stay when you get there. They "patrol" the park regularly ready to enforce the slightest of rules. We have yet to experience a night stay without one enforcement or another. Last year we were playing ball with our lab and were told they HAVE to be on a leash at all times. Our dogs are very well behaved and on a leash when not playing. It was frusterating to see smaller dogs running loose with no repremand but we tied up the dogs nonetheless. Another instance was while setting up our tent we were instructed to keep the tent inside the outlined dirt box. We had not even completed assembly by which we needed to move the tent to the level ground anyway. We felt like we could not fully enjoy our stay with walking and driving patrol wandering about all the time looking for activities to correct. The combination of the windy weather, fully booked park, loud 24/7 highway, and steep prices we decided to leave early. To end on a high note, their strict enforcement makes for a beautiful park and draws a calm family orientated crowd. I also like that they have no alcohol on the premises and nice paved lots. Maybe in the future they will make reservations available to make the journey worth it and maybe they can lessen their abrupt approach to the enforcement of rules.

We arrived on a Monday morning, and the park was about half full, it's Wednesday and it is completely full. It is very clean, green grass, water and power at each campsite, and nice, clean, big bathrooms and free showers. We are on day 3 of camping here and will definitely return in the future. The sites are spaced apart and while the grounds are patrolled regularly we have found everyone to be friendly. There is plenty of space for kids and bikes, and a private sandy beach to swim and lay out, volleyball, tennis and bad mitten nets set up. We also caught salmon, easily fishing from the shore. The prices are on the steep side but worth it if you want to be away from the crazyness of the standard campground, not worry about obnoxious drunk people, and have a less crowded, swimming/lake experience. Oh, the bathrooms and showers would be/are great for teenage girls and there is 1 large family style for parents with small kids. The only reason we gave it a 4 instead of 5 is that there are not very many shade trees and the sprinklers run longer than time posted (which is fine if your kids want to run through them). It's worth the short drive outside of town to check for availability since it's 1st come 1st serve.

Off season, senior citizens are offered great rates. Also, it's quiet because school is still in session. However, it's always been great whenever we've camped here.

Large park in a beautiful location on the shores of the Columbia River / Lake Entiat. The park is usually quiet, even in summer. RV camping is available. Multiple amenities are available, including a boat launch, tennis and basket ball courts, a softball field, a playground, a sandy beach, bbq pits and a large, covered picnic area.

Went Aug 5th 2016. Pulled up before 11am with 9 adults and 9 children we were able to get 2 sites but we had 2 more adults coming so we wanted a 3rd site. As we waited there was a male and female working and they (mostly her) where telling us that we had to wait right up by the building (in the sun) and then kept saying they thought nothing would become available when finally we see that someone is packing up and we go ask if they are leaving and they say yes, we let the employees know and they said they will go ask so they do. When they return they say that there is a sewer issue close to that site and that they will have to close it. We begged if we could please stay there just use the site for sleePing and they said no then i asked if we could stay with our friends since we had so many kids we could make it work and they said no because they had this sewage problem due to too many people using their restrooms. At this point i felt that they were making up Any excuse to get us out of there because they could clearly see that we had 2 infants in diapers and 2 todlers in diapers that would not be using their toilets! It is now 1:30pm and They said we could come back the next day and get in line again "line starts at 6:30 :)" Not once did i stutter and not once did i say i did not understand, i said ok i will find somewhere to go they suggested sleeping in the walmart parking lot. I sat with my friends trying to find somewhere but everything was booked for the night hotels, campsites, everything booked. At this point it is close to 2pm and they come over agaIn With the maintenance guy who speaks Spanish to ask me in Spanish how many people are at the site, i said i understood perfectly well when they kicked me out and we are not staying. We drive off and luckily find a walk up site elsewhere we unload or truck into 2 buggies and walk forever in the sun put up 2 tents and then get a call from our friends saying that those employees left and new ones arrived and said the site was not closed and we could have it!!!! Uuugh!!!! We pack up tents load our stuff in buggies call for help cause we had no strength left and head back. This is The worst way to treat people i used to go here every year with my family and recommend this place to friends and family, never had an issue, now this will be the place i avoid going to and tell people to avoid!

This was a great swimming area that was just about the only one that wasn't packed on a Sunday in the middle of summer. It had convenient parking but would have been better if there was no current pushing the floats back to shore

There is a tennis court, soccer field, volley ball net, a playground, the fields are watered, but at the time i came the salmon were starting to rot away, so not a lot of people were swimming, but its a nice place and so far i loved pretty much everything about it.

We absolutely love this park. Chelan County PUD did an excellent job of upkeep in the park. All the grass is beautiful green and most importantly the park is clean. No need to worry about stepping on drug paraphernalia or glass. Most spots have a beautiful view of the river and have excellent power. The boat launch is right there too.

Nice park, terrible workers. Especially the guy with squint - very rude and racist! Because of him I hated to be there.

Robin Dickinson

Nice RV park. Maintained nicely. Spaces aren't too crowded between. Only 1 OTA tv station. No wireless. No sewer but has a dump station. Very affordably priced in the off season. First come first serve. Big rigs beware! I'd keep going. The sites are hard to maneuver with a 35' tt. It wasnt easy to get into the pull throughs along the river. 4 miles from Chelan. Convenient to restuarants & WalMart.

Gretchen Beckman

Love this park! Been going here for years! I do think they could lighten up on the dog leash policy when they are playing fetch or frisbee with their owners!

Diane Long

What a gem! And the off season rate (especially for seniors) is spectacular! This park is really well kept and clean. Every year in September we come back for more. No reservations are taken, but we always get a great spot. The bathrooms are spotless!

Alex M.

This is a nice camping spot, green grass, clean bathrooms with free showers, only $30 a day to stay here. Only complaint is if you're close to the road the noise from the cars gets annoying, but it's tolerable. Overall a decent place

Lindsey Bissell

Brendan Smith

Well maintained, nice green spaces to walk. Beach is situated nicely for safe play in the water and it has tennis courts and a few soccer fields. Soccers goals could use best and play area could add a few swing sets and I would give it 5 stars.

Don Devereaux

Great place I praise the P.U.D for keeping it so clean and quite

Most of the public power parks along the Columbia are first class. This is no exception. There is easy access, ample parking, trees and huge grasses areas, picnic facilities, restrooms, swimming beach, boat launch, soccer field, tennis courts, paths, and camping. Enjoy. And the location is quite scenic.

Isaiah Smith

Calm quiet place off the highway

Love this park!! We have stayed here several times and are never disappointed! So glad they have NOT gone to a reservation system! The state park system is unfair and locks folks out of being able to camp unless they are planned out 9 months in advance. Keep up the good work Chelan PUD!
