You will be able to see all the information of people who consume the services and products of Massanutten Indoor WaterPark (Park) in Virginia area.
Right now this firm gets a score of 4.4 stars over 5 and that rating has been based on 2944 reviews.
You must have seen that it reaches an opinions average is very high, and it's founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the evaluation is quite credible. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to set reviews when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Park belongs to the category of Water park.
We always have a great time here! My kids are 6 and 8 and actually did every waterside they had at our last visit. The lines weren't long at all. I would say that a couple of them were a bit scary for my 6 year old, but he's a sensitive boy. We love the pools and the lazy river, although it may be hard to get a tube right away on busy days! It's worth the price to spend a good part of the day here!
Absolutely incredible place. Lots to do. The slides are awesome. My family had a great time.
Very very full. Every bit as hot inside as outside. General cleanliness not as good as previous visits. Major shortcomings in food service today. They have been better in the past but, today, they dropped the ball.
It was a great place. Very family oriented. We will be going back
Definitely for kids ages 4-12 years old. Limited seating. Very few slides, and the life guards are not the kindest people.
It was a great place! Even with all the many activities you can do inside, they include an outdoor water park section. Inside with the water park section includes a lazy river, water slides, tube slide rides, and they teach you surfing. They have other pools to swim in and hot tubs. One hot tub connects from the inside to the outside! Where the food section is, is the outdoor section. In the summer or hottest days they would open the outdoor section. The have an obsicle course and water slides. So much fun and you can get stuck in there for hours!
This is very very fun will definitely be back was my first time visiting
This park has it all! My family of five (kids ages 4-9 & parents in 40s) left no stone unturned. We enjoyed the many indoor & outdoor water slides, wave pool, lazy river, the humongous kids play areas and surfing simulator. A little on the pricey side, but worth it if you plan a whole day for it.
Amazing place! There is much to enjoy. Myself 49 and my son 8 had a blast. Of course I got wore out before he did. This was our first visit here. The staff was very nice, helpful, and friendly. Their admission price beats many other parks that are outrageously priced and require an overnight stay. This may explain why families from North Carolina and Ohio were here at this gem. We will definitely visit again. I highly recommend this place!
You can have a great time here. Wear the kids out by noon. I think everything you could want in a water park
This is a great place for a few hours. I couldn't imagine spending more than 4 or 5 hours here though.
Big waterpark. Attentive lifeguards.
The family had a great time. Clean, well managed, with lots of staff to help. Glad we went!
Was very nice. But strong chlorine smell
Great weekend, relaxing. Scenic views, activities for everyone and good food. The sales presentation was not high pressure. We got our visa card at the end so it was a free trip. If you are not buying, let the sales rep know. Or, ask about reduced prices on defaulted condos. If you purchase, you can cancel when you get home without commitment. Either way, go and enjoy yourself for a few days.
Lots of fun - from little little kids to adults. Try to get there as they open and buy tickets online in advance. Food prices are reasonable. Can't wait to go back!
Very nice smaller sized water park. It had an indoor and outdoor area with all the standard slides, kids areas, wave pool and lazy rivers. The park area is clean and there are a few restaurants. Price is about $40 per person all day, it's cheaper after 5 pm. 42 inches and shorter is cheaper as well. We stayed about four hours and that was more than enough to do everything.
We have taken our grandchildren twice & they have had a great times on both occasions.
Very Nice waterpark. Would give 5 stars but the locker rooms are very hard to breath in due to chlorine. That needs attention.
What I liked most was the variety and various levels of slides to accommodate all ages and levels of boldness. Not enough chairs, so get there early. Check in the area was a bit confusing, but staff was friendly. Food was a bit costly. We left to eat lunch elsewhere and came back.
Its not a free place .This place cost like 40 dollar for adults and 26 for kids. But after 5 it cost 28 dollar for adults.
I’m so disgusted with how Massanutten has changed. I went here yearrrssss ago and it was so much cleaner, nicer and friendlier. It seems now like they just let anyone in and are all about the money. My parents have a timeshare here and I am no longer happy. When I was a child, I loved going on vacation here. Now it seems to be just a dump with minimal nice amenities. The water park was nice but extremely crowded and over priced. I travel a lot, and am not happy at all with how this location turned out. Not to mention the construction to their “upgrade” has taken forever. Try somewhere else for a nice vacay.
My wife and I took two of our grandchildren and they had a wonderful time. Very well planned water park.
Its a good place to cool off.. Very little KID Oriented.. Not as much for The Big Kids aka Adults.. Ha!
This water park is really nice. I love that they have both an indoor and outdoor water park! It's very family friendly so anybody of all ages can enjoy. The only thing I don't care for is that you pay $25 to rent a locker to put your items in and you get $15 back so you might want to just keep any valuable items in your car.
Even during peek season the place is big enough, fully equipped with plenty of amusing activities, superb staff, and clean fully loaded lodging. There's a price range to accommodate your spending habits, just stick to the budget plan, and stay consistent with no guilt from your kids...because they will want to do everything 3times over.
Went for a weekend with my three kids ages 4,8 and 10. They had a blast. This place is very similar to great wolf lodge water park just a little smaller and cheaper. There’s something for all ages to do. They have seating available throughout the water park. My only complaint is that people claim these chairs while 90 percent of the time no ones actually siting in them so finding a spot is hard. They have food available for a good price. Food takes forever we stood in line over 45 mins and not due to a long line. Also there aren’t many tables to actually sit in to eat. Over all it was a nice family day.
Absolutely loved it got invited there for their timeshare meeting and actually considering to buy but the kids had a great time and it was great price
This place was fun and my little one of six and a half really liked it. there's a wide variety of rides and the water splash house was great. we went during April vacation week and it was quite busy. The lazy River was fun. Although my daughter was over 42 in High we went on the big tube ride which you had to carry up several flights of steps and it was a little too aggressive for her. Fun and worth the afternoon or morning if you're staying at massanutten
Great waterpark with lots of fun features. Water inside was warm, super cold water outside. Slides were great. Not as much for adults to do as kids unfortunately. Arcade was a seperate fee so we didn't use it. A lot of food was expensive but some was pretty afforable. They didn't have a regular pool which was kind of a bummer but I suppose it's not what you'd come there for. Still would have liked to just have a place to swim without gimmicks. Admission probably was too high for what you actually get to do there. Lifeguards were pretty friendly for the most part. Line for the surf was long but you got to actually have a good long turn when you got there so it evened out. Every other line was fast-moving. All in all, we had a good time. Kinda overpriced but fun nonetheless.
Fun time, relaxing & the Lazy River Ride was fun and again the staff was VERY Helpful
I don't know if the kids (11 & 4) had more fun, or if I (37) did
Nice place to stay, too pricey for a time share
This place was amazing ! I went yesterday for my five year wedding anniversary ! I was in the water for about four hours so I didn’t take pictures ahah but the place was huge and clean . Staff was friendly and the arcade was a blast!!!! The food courts food was surprisingly delicious and decent! All in all this place was a blast and I look forward to going again !
This place is very fun and plenty to do for all ages. Plenty of food to purchase. In door and out door water activities. Highly recommended.
Clean, fun, well managed. Typical Massanutten. Loved it. Everyone is nice.
Lots to do...great fun for all. Very nice facility indoor and outdoor water activities an arcade, Snack Shack, and even a bar upstairs for the adults. Can rent locker for personal items
Absolutely amazing, total fun the entire way through. So much to do. You can really spend an entire day in there, the slides omg. However a kid in my group did fall out of a tube in mid slide, hit his head loss his tube if he wasnt having so much fun and head wasnt as hard he may have gotten hurt. They should put atleast a 3-5lb weight in tubes not too heavy to carry but heavy enough so they won't flip as easily. They also have an arcade, we didnt make it be as though once one thing close everything closes. They close at 9pm. Its Summer time, I hoped they stayed open later.
Excellent place. Just wish they had a plain pool for folks that can't do all the kids stuff.
My children and I absolutely loved this place. It was so much fun. They had things to do for all age groups. I can't wait to go again.
It's great that this place has an indoor and outdoor waterpark, arcade, and restaurant but I wouldn't say it's worth the price. The tickets cost almost as much as a theme park but doesn't offer nearly as much as a theme park. I've been to other water parks that offer a lot more for a similar price. Overall though the kids loved it and it was clean.
The only great attraction that the whole family enjoyed. Lifeguards were well staffed and I felt safe letting my 10 year old make friends and play. We stayed all evening. Best part of this aging resort!
A very nice family time. Kids of various ages found enjoyment both inside and outside. The attendants and lifeguards seemed well- managed, friendly and helpful. The facility was pretty clean and seemed maintained well enough. The cost is higher than I would have been willing to pay without a teacher discount. Wear sunscreen, even inside!
Great fun...lazy river is the best!
A great place for a family vacation with something to do for all ages.
Great Waterpark, pretty cheap, lots of actvitiys and lots of lifeguards to keep the kids safe. Defiantly would recommend!
Fun place. My kids can't get enough of this place!
Lots of fun activities for both kids and adults who are with the kids! Best to get there early and avoid more crowded times later on.
I only learned of this place about a week ago, and we took a day trip with our young boys and everyone had a blast! Incredibly clean, lifeguards by the boatload and the water was perfect! Already planning our next trip- and to stay longer!
It's okay. I think it's very pricey for what they offer. Okay for little kids and tweens but a teenager would be hard pressed to be happy there for a day. As owners we get a discount and it was $96 for a family of 3 to get in. The 12 yr old was ready to go at hr 3.
Prices should be much cheaper during off season, most of the water park was closed due to off season or maintenance. Not enough staff to have the pool swimming area open. Not much to do considering the high price.
We took our grandson he loves the water only issues I had was that signs posted children under 12 had to be supervised by a adult yet there were a lot of them without supervision and no one said anything. Lazy river was way out of control
Great fun for the kids and adults..your safety is their first priority.their were life guards everywhere hot too!!!
My 13 year old had alot of fun
Great fun way to spend a day with friends and family. Indoor/outdoor water park open year round (inside only). Fairly priced with attractions for everyone. From the little ones to the adults and even grandparents. Outdoor section has plenty of seating and choices with shade. A wave pool, obstacle course, and a waterslide (like the burlap sack slides at carnivals but with water and you go head first). Inside there is a toddler section, lazy river, hot tub, pool, huge walk through attraction with slides ranging from a few feet long/tall to 30+ ft tall and around 100ft long (our three year old nephew had no problem tackling any of the slides). There are three tube rides for single, double, or triple rider tubes. 2 longer individual slides for the older kids and adults (42 inch height minimum for the tube slides and individual larger slides). And a flowrider. Yes one of those artificial "waves" to boggieboard on. You can stand up as well though you have to take a class offered in the morning beforehand to do so. As all water parks do, they have life vests in all sizes. Food is fairly priced and for those that partake, they sell alcohol in the same building there is a sit down restaurant, arcade, and gift shop. Parking is free. If you're from the area or just visiting, give the mountain views some of your time and spend a few hours or a day here. You won't be disappointed.
Niece and nephews loved it. Not super good for me as was prego. Floors are slippery. Food was reasonable price and tasty.
Took a day trip here with 10 year old son. We had a blast in the water but many things were lacking. The food here is a terrible experience. $20+ for 2 room temp cheese burgers, mediocre fries, and hot flat soda with no refills. They had ran out of ice and cups at lunchtime and were a bit accommodating with a smaller cup size and 1 free refill, but no ice doesn’t really make it appealing. the concessions in the swimming area only have bottled beer, no liquor. Lockers are $25 for the day with a $10 cash refund or a $15 arcade card with return of key. Adults (even large ones like myself) under 300 lbs. can pretty much do all the activities here. But if you don’t want to get wet there is an observer ticket option for less money. The slide lines seem long but you are generally not standing still much and get through the lines in about 10 minutes. The FlowRider is pretty cool. Riders get around 3 minutes of time each and relaunch after they wipe out if they still have time. Much better than other places where your turn ends after your first wipeout. Because of this, however, the line is pretty long but predictable. Count the riders and multiply by 3 to get your approximate wait time. There’s a nice sitting area to watch and is pretty entertaining. Advanced riders can use a provided stand up board to surf, but are limited to 1 wipeout or 3 minutes, whichever comes first. The indoor arcade is really expensive. The cheapest game is $1.50 per play and the cheapest ticket game is $1.75 per play. Your tickets are automatically added to the card that paid which makes ticket tracking and redemption fast and smooth. Many of the popular games were broken or off though, I encourage you to explore the arcade before making any purchase. There is an indoor bar (with hard liquor) near the arcade that also hosts karaoke! It’s rather entertaining and the karaoke is broadcast throughout the arcade. The redemption prizes are what you would expect from other arcades. Tips: 1. Pack your own lunch in a cooler and some chairs. While you can’t bring food inside, you do have day long re-entry. Leave the park for lunch and eat at your car. 2. Save money and bring a water bottle. There is free a refillable water bottle station at the locker area. 3. Save time and apply sunscreen before entering. Otherwise, you have to go all the way through the inside and outside parks to apply it in the grassy area. 4. Don’t waste money on a locker if you don’t have to. Leave valuables in your car and get them if needed. This is double effective if you bring your lunch and don’t need your wallet. If you do opt for the locker, make the locker refund call when you’re finished and if you want to visit the arcade to maximize your dollars spent. 5. If you are eating at the concessions and are paying with a card, there is a kiosk you can order at that moves way faster than the line. Both take cards, the line is the only cash option.
We had 9,8,4 n 2 year old grand Children Everyone, had safe fun!
The bathrooms are dirty and the food is always cold. But the park itself was fun didn't have to wait in any lines.
While we still were able to enjoy our trip o was disappointed this time around. Both swimming pools inside and outside were closed. The slide in the toddler area was also closed. It was very difficult to explain to a 2yr old that they cannot get on a slide 20 feet away from them. My oldest daughter does not like the wave pool so she only was able to get on a few slides and just stayed in the toddler pool with my 2yr old. When all attractions are open we love this place. Maybe we will call next time before driving almost 2 hrs.
This place is always packed. It's gross. Water has nasty body fluids floating around and Workers are not the best and friendliest either. Been 4 times.. gets worse every time.
This place might have a leak. Slides are wet with big puddles at the end. My church shoes are ruined.
What's not to love? A fun place for everyone, really young and old alike. A little but for everybody. Lazy river, big water slides inside and out, flowrider surfing, wave pool. Great for families.
I love this water park, so happy it's open all year
Awesome place - Huge !!!!! - Great for Everyone - Had a BLAST - Wave pool , Lazy river , awesome and friendly staff - Highly recommend
Too many amenities to list. This is a place for everyone. The staff was especially friendly and capable. Excellent parking!
It's like Great Wolf but without the huge indoor rides and with much more to offer out doors. Inside food service could use some attention. Long lines, slow customer service, but very friendly. Outdoor food service area is great. Life guards are excellent, except for the hot tub area. They need to do more checking. Easy parking. Great day out!
Great park for kids and their parents/ grandparents. Wish there was a deeper pool or a separate adult area since it was a trip for my husband and our friends.
Perfect place for a seven year old and adult to both have fun. She was able to ride everything. We would definitely come back. We Went on Monday 6/10. This time of year there was little wait time in lines . Most of the time we got on right away.
Wonderful!! Family place to have great fun, also nature lover can enjoy the sight of the the clouds touching the mountains...see the deers and musrats grazing, bingo games, a water park that is the greatest.
It's close to home, has a load of things to do, is paradise to a child & best of all..... it's affordable. Bonus: your family will enjoy the wildlife.
Great park, wasn't too crowded. Spent the day and got lots of rides in.
So much fun was had with so much fun we missed out on. So much to do we did not know where to begin causing time to slip by us. Next time we will stay on the resort. You definitely need more than one day to enjoy all that is offered here.
Very cool. Definitely going back. AWESOME View
Very good place to spend the day with kids and teens. Parents have some slides and jacuzzi to enjoy.
More water to navigate than the worlds oceans. If you are sea faring and naval mined, you wil want to "sail" these seas.
Great place lots of fun love the lazy river.
The children that run the indoor waterpark counter- act like the are the police. You are not allowed to get your children unless you pay to get in. Just goes to reflect the management that is directing them. Will not be back to the water park. Not worth the aggravation!
Always a blast!! Twilight hours always gave us the best deal! So many trips worth of fun here. And do not forget to stop by the candy shop on your way out. The chocolate covered pretzels were always my favorite. There’s also an arcade on level 2 (waterpark is 3) that is a blast! I have spent so much time there playing games with my whole family - grandparents included! The long and short of it is, it’s worth the trip!
Loved outdoor area, indoor was a little crowded, however all is clean and many things to do. Food was delicious. The only downside is when my husband was sliding down at the outdoor slides it was his first time and no one told him to keep his head higher up, so while sliding he hit his throat with the curve on the sliding mat and it had been hurting for days.
From a distance this looks like a cool water park but close up it's a different story. We were in the little kids section and there isn't much to it plus the paint was coming of the bottom of the "swings" (they only bounce) and off the slide. There are dead bugs and leaves in the "indoor water park " water. There is a large bucket that dumps a huge amount of water ever so often. The "Great Wolf Lodge" in Williamsburg has a bucket as well but it rings a warning bell to let you know it's going to dump so the younger kids can move out of the way . The people working in the snack bar were very nice and helpful. Loved the games in the arcade. There were some games that were not working. But still some cool games. The young man working in the game room had a lot of patience with the kids changing their minds about which toys they wanted. One last thing.. when we were given a locker the people behind us in line got a locker as well. The lady gave us lockers right next to each other instead of spreading everyone out ( we were the first ones there).
My son loved the park. Overall i had a good experience. I was exhausted climbing the many steps it took to get on any adult like ride. Only suggestion is one day having a large pool for swimming. I recommend this attraction for any family. Great bang for the buck.
First time here with my family and it was awesome. We had a excellent time. The outside water park was awesome. The inside was even better. Prices was high but it was all great.
It's one of the best in door water park I've been to. It's very clean and have something for everyone. There food was good.
All I can say about this place is that it was loads of fun. Anyone of any age would enjoy themselves there, It is also kept nice and clean including the bathrooms so I'm ok walking around barefoot. Overall very nice experience there and I would definitely go again.
Awesome place! Love the water slides! Definitely enjoyed it with my 4 year old niece! Thankful for my Company Picnic being here! Amazing staff! Thanks!
great water park for family and friends, a must do when visiting Massanutten resort!
Nice waterpark. The temperature in the indoor park is not warm and pools were not heated.
great place, great rides, overall awesome place. Great place to take your kids, or even just go on your own. Can't wait to visit again!
Loved it here and my kids had so much fun.
Its a nice place especially on hot days. The only problem is unless you have a coupon or discount its pretty expensive.
Great space both inside and outside . Average prices for food . Nice basic variety of quick food like burgers ,Chicken strips , Chicken Salad , Fries and yes beer
Awesome. Think it's due for a water roller coaster
Of the water park the the kids loved it but the teenager felt that it wasn't geared towards for teenagers
My kids and family loved it. Great fun. That dosent break the bank
Not a happy owner! Prices keep rising, and the cost to do activities is ridiculous. We already pay so much to be an owner, I wish this was more affordable! Would love to hand the bill back to the resort, and thank them for the experience.
My son loved the park. Overall i had a good experience. I was exhausted climbing the many steps it took to get on any adult like ride. Only suggestion is one day having a large pool for swimming. I recommend this attraction for any family. Great bang for the buck.
It's a great place for indoor play swimming in winter. However, they really need to do better job with the shower. The water was very cold and it's open shower room. It would be nice to have private ones where I can take my kid to wash them and also change.
Everything about this place is great. The slides are fun and fast, the children's area is full of stuff for small and big kids, and the lazy river is the best! Food varies in quality and price depending on what place, but there are a lot of OPTIONS for one park.
Place is huge. You have to pay for all the activities and for the waterpark. Lots of activities for older (7+) kids around the resort, but again, you'll have to pay for everything. Waterpark is nice and food is good and inexpensive. There are a lot of other pools throughout the resort and playgrounds for the little ones.
Outdoor water park was closed til close due to rain... Rain stopped around 4pm. Long wait time for food and drink at the concession stand, but you are at their mercy due to outside food and drink being prohibited. Staff was very neutral personality wise, just uninterested in their jobs for the most part and many weren't very attentive to what they were doing. Indoor park was nice and fun however. Pretty clean for the most part.
Great place for the whole family! You can easily spend all day there and not realize what time it is. 3rd time we've been and will definitely be back.
Its ok. I guess for little kids its good. I was told I couldnt use a double raft, I had to get off of it and get in line for a single raft. Foid was mediocre. Pretty pricey.
Pros: Parking is not bad. The children's area with buckets and slides are awesome and I def bigger than Great Wolf. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Cons: The water park is not really clean, went to bathroom and found a small ROACH! The pool for babies needs some tlc and possibly needs new equipment. The price isn't bad but for how dirty it was its not worth it. Sadly, we much rather drive down to Greatwolf and its cleaner!
I had so much fun with my 6 year old running around here. Great people, great place. Won't go back during peak season, but off peak I'm there.
Its outdoor and indoor park open all year around, good for all ages.
I appreciate the cleanliness but it wasn't as big as I was thinking. After about an hour we had done everything we wanted to. We got in the lazy river which is honestly what we really wanted to do. We weren't told about the color tube situation. We just grabbed a tube as others were doing then were told that there was a line for a tube and the yellow ones were for people with a different wrist band. Needless to say there were several irritated people. No signs that say that anywhere. After being in the lazy river a while and battling the people being inconsiderate we went outside to the wave pool. There was so much debris in the water which granted its outside but it was excessive. We go to the water park at King's Dominion and that's not an issue. After being in there for maybe 10 mins we decided to go back inside. Got in the hot tub which was a decent size although there weren't may jets and the couple they had were always in use. Overall it was very clean inside the building. We went to the arcade which wasnt worth the little cheesy prizes and time. Majority of the games we wanted to play weren't in service. The main floor you come into doesn't have a bathroom so if you get all the way upstairs and then need to use the restroom you'll have to go back downstairs. The locker for our belongings was $25 but if you bring the key back you get either $10 back making it $15 or you get a $15 arcade card which wasnt worth it to us.
Great place to spend the day. It was crowded but still enough room for everyone to have plenty of room. Great fun for all ages.
Not as big as the pictures make it look but it was very enjoyable for the kids.
The employees were very welcoming. My kids and I had a blast.
Massanutten quickly has become one of our favorite trips to take as a family! We always have so much fun together here making wonderful family memories.
Great place for a family getaway. We were there Easter weekend and it was extremely crowded! Be sure to purchase tickets online to gain admission upon arrival. There is an arcade and a couple of concessions stands. Our 15 year old and 8 year old enjoyed the water park equally. The water slides are a nice perk for adults to enjoy.
It's a great place for the kids. Unfortunately mine don't like it as much as they did when they were younger. It's awesome in the winter when all the outdoor parks are closed
Had a group of 5 people aging from 20 to 50. Pros: Couple hours of fun for adults. Safe. Nice employees (mostly teenagers). Truly geared towards kids. Cons: Not a lot there for adults to do. Pretty expensive for what you get especially since you pay the same price for off-season as you would for on-season. Flowrider was shutdown for maintenance but no refund of any kind. Expensive "okay" food inside so pack food and eat outside.
One of the cleanest places we've ever been. Very good waterpark. Food was ok but definitely could have been better.
Fun fun fun so much activities. I did not get the food like any place that offers food it was over priced but the experience was extremely nice and there are life guards are on every corner
Loads of fun for all age groups! Even special wheelchairs for those in need. The guards were very on top of their jobs and showed the younger crowd how to do things like surf and boogie board. Very impressive
Totally NOT worth the money ($200 for my family of 5)! My four year old who can't even swim and doesn't do any water activities on her own was charged as an adult ($40) because she is exactly 42in tall. Her head was literally at the measuring bar. Also, the Chill Grill had over an hour wait after ordering and suddenly just closed and stopped taking orders while lots of people had been standing in line waiting...NO WARNING. Right after my family ordered, my little cousin who was waiting in line directly behind us was refused service because of the abrupt close. The manager then gave us our money back as we refused to wait over an hour for hot dogs and feel awful about doing so while our teen cousin couldn't even order. They could have taken his order. He was with us the entire time we ordered. Had they warned of the closing, I could have ordered his food and paid for it myself. My other cousins who were still there waiting from over 45 minutes prior received a refund as well since their food had still not beeb made. We then left and ate at the indoor restaurant. I do not plan to return to this waterpark. The resort has many other activities.
Took our daughters there and they loved it. And it was fun for us too. 2 long enclosed water slides that did not use a tube and 3 enclosed slides that required tubes. The lines were never too long and the lifeguards seemed to handle everything smoothly. The girls also loved the wave pool and splash pad that were outdoors
Fun place good hot tub and nice pool with handicapped entrance onto the pool . Good experience!
Good, but wish they had some more intense rides
After vacationing at Disney Resorts I always compare that experience to my other vacations. But overall Massanutten is a good vacation destination.
Nice staff. Nice availability. But it is smaller than other water park. It feels like there is something missing like 2% missing from the perfect.
It's a lot of fun to go to. But it's very expensive for a day. I have a family of about 5 and come about 1 every two years. We always own a condo so we get 6 or so dollars off to get into the pool. For us it hardly makes a difference. We still have to pay a bunch of money for all of us to have fun at the indoor water park for just ONE day.
The indoor park is good for smaller kids .when we were here during spring break 2019 outdoor apart was not open but they charged the same price. some stuff is rusted and in disrepair their idea of fixing it was zip tying a rubber pad on top of it what a joke .you would think they could fix this stuff as much as they charge to get into this place.. i was not impressed at all..
It,s a great place to go. The only thing I didn t care for is the kids in the hot tub and pushing around the lazy river
Our family has enjoyed this waterpark every year for the past 11 years. Our daughter looks forward to it every year! The waterpark is her favorite part of Massanutten. Over the years there have been many repairs an maintenance for up keep of the resort. While there are still things that need maintenance every year that we visit they have updated/repaired/maintained something. They operate 7 days a week in the summer and still make time for up keep.
Awesome water park with great choices/variety of slides and water activities. They even had a lazy river and a wave pool. The food was average at best. They have an arcade that the kids enjoyed. The bar near the arcade had terrible service with poor food.
After 5pm to close there are cheaper rates. Bring your own towels! Life vests are available for anyone. Lockers are $25 ($10 is refunded when you turn in key). No outside food or drinks allowed. Lifeguards are throughout all areas.
Unfortunately I didn’t read other reviews before I go there, my bad, anyway, I agree with many people the place is overpriced, which is something I accepted it, so cant complaint, it was extremely crowded because of Spring break, that was expected, but I’m pretty sure the water temperature was never 84 degrees, the kids were shivering, their faces and lips became blue, that was biggest disappointment ever, we couldn’t enjoy at all, every ten minutes we need to dry the kids and warm them up, life guards and staff in general weren’t friendly, maybe only 2 out 50 were smiling, there are no closed shower box, the idea of this place is good, but the fact is something completely different, the golden question, would I go there again? of course no.
We got here when the outdoor pools and slides were open as well. Perfect for kids and adults alike. One of outdoor pools has an artificial
So glad we decided to go. Awesome place!
It's pretty pricey for not a lot of options. We got a military discount and it was still expensive. It was fun, just not amazing. I would've preferred a cheaper rate or more options. Also there was only one slide outdoors. Part of the fun of water parks is sun, and that limited the time you really wanted to be outside. It was clean and there were plenty of lifeguards around. It costs 25 for a locker and you get 10 back if you return the key, again, pricey.
This was a great place to go. The water temperature was perfect inside and outside. Everything was efficiently run and enjoyable (with the exception of the Snack Shack.. the line was crazy long and took forever). Such a great experience. There was not alot of options for Gluten Free.
I'm not exactly the hugest fan of water, but I was still able to enjoy myself here with all the activities they had to offer. The staff and workers were all very friendly and willing to help in any way they could, which was a nice addition. The only downside would be that they don't host a very wide variety of activities, so it could get mundane after a while. However, it was still a great experience and I'd definetely go back.
It's a small park for the amount you pay to get in. That being said, the slides are cool and it's nice that they have indoor and outdoor activities
It's very nice but it's not big as the water park at Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg.
A little pricey, but we can't miss this every time we go to the resort. The kids have fun! There are lifeguards everywhere. I feel good knowing that the staff makes safety their priority.
Great water park. 70% geared towards kids. But we had a great time. It is an all day event. In doors and outdoors, lockers for purchas ($15 after $10 key return) food, games. A must visit.
More kid stuff. Wave pool water was too cold for us. Also after the not so lazy river at Atlantis most others will be boring. We left and went to main recreation centers big pool.
Plenty safety personnel around and easy access to outdoor pool area.
Fun! Not as crowded as I thought it would be! Pretty clean with the exception of a few things here and there. Will definitely go again!!
Great place to have fun on a cold rainy day, or anyday for that matter. Kids had a blast and so did we (parents).
Decent water slides, not too crowded. Food choices also acceptable and not overpriced. Admission not cheap but you can be there all day if you'd like.
Sadly, THIS water park does not accommodate to handicaps. There was a member of the party who must wear water shoes in the water and was not allowed to ride any of the rides due to needing to wear water shoes. We were so disappointed and ended up leaving early. We will continue vacationing to the other indoor water parks who do accommodate.
If you choose only to do one thing at this resort, I would recommend you do this! Lines were short, the water temperature was great, and they had stuff for everyone! If you go for the twilight time (half off price) I recommend the lazy river, the indoor jungle gym thing and the little water slides! It was busy between 12-4pm, and as it got later, it was less crowded.
Fun, but much smaller than I thought. Also, better for smaller kids.
Our family had a really nice time! Everyone was polite, the staff were kind and professional. Food is average price for a theme park. Will be visiting again
We always have a fun time at this water park. It is clean and well maintained.
Absolutely had an amazing time. Didnt get to see everything but I will be back again to finish exploring.
This was my kids favorite part of our vacation. We spent about 4 hours here the first time and we are going back today to do the twilight hours before we go back home tomorrow!
Love this Resort we just had a family vacation here. So much to do. You cannot do everything in a weeks time. We attended a mystery dinner it was fun. I'm sure they will get more fine tuned in time. Dinner was nice. Lobster claws & Prime rib. Veggies, Macaroni & cheese, rolls, so much more. There is ziplining, waterpark, horseback riding, golfing, put put golf, bumper cars, more. Pools, Spa. Our townhouse was very clean fully equipped. Very nice. We will be going back again this summer and fall for the change of colors in Autumn.
WaterPark is Amazing 5stars
Alot of fun. Tooo many people at one time. A young teenager went underwater and had to be pulled out and was given CPR. It was very scary to see. Too many people and not enough staff
What's your pleasure ? Filled with fun activities for all. Or maybe to just relax. MASSANUTTEN is sure to please. It's the place you will always go back to with a smile.
Pricey and limited for kids under 42" tall, but plenty of fun and worth going at least once. Beware, they charge a $25 deposit for lockers and you only get $10 back (or $15 if you want arcade credit).
Needs to be updated and then maintained. It looks like it has gone down hill in the past 3 yrs
Not only did I catch a viral infection from the indoor lake tube ride. Most of the water attractions were out of service. The facility was not well maintained
Don't let my 4 star review fool you, it's a wonderful water park if you have kids. It was well supervised with lifeguards everywhere. Plenty of floats for the lazy river and even double floats with a bottomed section for wee ones. They have clean, spacious changing rooms with showers and lockers (rentable) for dry clothes and valuables. If you have kids, this water park is worth checking out. They have food available and arcade games too. There is something for everyone including huge hot 'tubs' for adults.
If you don't watch the clock they have to tell you too leave! It's worth loosing track of time. Planned on leaving at 6 ended up stay till close.
Nice, clean, plenty of stuff to do in 1 building. Family oriented, nice polite friendly staff.
Great place! We come here every year, once or twice during the week we are at the resort.
