Enchanting campground. This staff are super friendly and knowledgeable regarding hikes and the area. They care so much about about this park the sites are actually raked! And flowers in the bathroom!

Managed by very friendly park rangers, Pat and Gary, who keep the park in excellent shape. Facilities were clean. Grassy area and basketball hoop with balls provided. And the music at 7pm on Saturday nights by Gary and others with instruments and musical talent was great. We'll definitely be back.

Very friendly park managers and a great place for woodsy tent camping. The bathrooms were very clean and smelled nice. The 3.4 mile hike to Bald Mtn was a great length and a modest challenge for our kids, tho the view was limited to ~30 degrees each to the north and south due to tree growth. The view cuts could be improved! But this was a great little campground.

I loved my time here. Stayed in a lean-to site which was helpful given a couple nights of rain. The staff was soo knowledgeable about the park and nearby parks and points of interest, as well as the flora and fauna. The hike up Bald Mtn was a good workout and very beautiful on the way to and back. The bathrooms were clean and neat (if a little on the small side). It’s a throwback camp without many amenities but there is wood and ice for sale and boatloads of nature. There is also a nearby swim hole by the covered bridge. AND very dog friendly. AND the Dam Diner is a must and not far. We’d definitely come again.

Cool spot, nice and low key. ...we went for the 4th of July and it was surprisingly calm. .. enjoyed it very much. I'd say the spots were all very close, had there been more neighbors there were times I feel like my kids up super early might've made them question their choice of camp location haha... I almost thought of renting the surrounding spots so we'd have more privacy, but didn't have to.. Great utilities, really awesome staff and lots to do around there. ....great river swimming and only a bit to downtown Brattleboro... definitely enjoyed our trip and I'd likely go back and post up at a more secluded site as I poked around and saw some more "in the cut" GO!
