Family Reunion. Great spot - covered pixnic areas for events, clean restrooms, lots of flat areas for games, blankets, chairs. On lake for swimming - no life guard on duty. Modest admission fee. Will be back next year!

Very clean! Good prices on the activities they offer (ex. Paddleboats). Perfect beach for families with small children. Only bummer when I went was they had less than 1/4 of the food items they had on their menu.

Beutifull lake. Very relaxing. You can bath in the wonderfull clean lake, walk along some hiking trails or rent a peddale boat/canou or just relax on the beach. There are some picnic table and endless lawn space.

It apeared to be a wonderful camp gound. Tents only except small campers by reservation. Beach swimming, no large boats just kiaks and canoes.

Have never been there, even in the middle of august and have it be warm. Went last weekend and it was 58 degrees. Water felt warm. And its spring water. Bring long pants a sweater and blanket for everyone.

Very nice facilities on a clean, clear lake in a beautiful setting. You can rent paddle board or canoes/kayaks, there is a lovely Sandy beach, grills and picnic tables and it's right across the street from some nice hikes with beautiful views. There are also camp sites and cabins to rent. There is also a snack bar and restrooms. Great family park!

Beautiful, clean park right on Echo Lake. Large playground for the kids and a nice beach right on the water. Just perfect for the kids to go for a swim or just play on the shore. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for taking such good care of this state park.

The water was a bit cold but it is only in the beginning of June pattle boats for 7$ every 30 minutes 2 and 4 person boats puls great food and icecream It was 8$ for 3 people to get in

Wonderfully clean state park. There's a sandy beach area, a lake for swimming or boating, barbecue areas, a volleyball court and a playground. The perfect place to spend the day if you're in the area, or rent a cabin and stay longer. There is an entrance fee to get in. A snack bar on the premises. Boat rentals are available. Bathrooms and changing rooms are onsite as well.

Awesome family location, we have rented paddle boats and canoes for a reasonable fee, ice cream and other snacks and drinks sold in food stand, sunscreen suspesers near restrooms, lots,of picnic tables and charcol grills, several spots for private parties to rent out, very clean and reasonably priced for a day or just a few hours, trash is carry in carry out. Cabins for rent for those who want to spend more than just a day. Great for family vacations. Highly reccomend.

This is a great park!!! It's clean, well maintained, and the staff are very friendly. They have boats and paddle boards that you can rent. Food wise they have food that you can buy and charcoal grills if you want to grill. The food they sell there is very affordable. You can get a sandwich for $5.50, kid ice pops for .50, and other ice cream items for $2 ish depending on what you want. They even have iced coffee for $1.50. If the staff ever reads this post thank you for keeping things affordable and clean . There are no life guards so you need to keep an eye on your own kids. Have a blessed day :)

This is the best park. I got there often, whether backpacking on the Monadnock-Sunapee greenway, camping or just stopping in to kayak on the ponds, this park is a gem. I recommend camping here because it is quiet nice sites and you have plenty of good hiking trails to choose from plus, you can canoe or kayak Butterfield and May Ponds. We usually do hike 1 day and kayak the next. I have parked here to backpack on the M-S Greenway. It is safe and secure to leave your vehicle here.

What a gorgeous little lake in central Vermont! Kayaking around Echo Lake was a perfect way to kick off a vacation in the Ludlow/Okemo area. Camp Plymouth is pretty accessible and the equipment rental was easy. The kayaks we rented were pretty new and clean. Prices were affordable and the service was great!

Excellent facilities, friendly, knowledgeable staff, and a wonderful atmosphere. I would love to see a recyclables station (that could perhaps benefit a charity or non-profit through deposit redemption) because of the amount of cans guests accumulate. Our son loves exploring in the sand, wading in the clean lakewater and walking the well-kept grounds here. We appreciate this place very much and can't wait to return.

Tradition! Camp Plymouth/ Echo Lake has been the field trip location of choice for our middle school to celebrate the completion of another year "together" with students and staff. We haven't found any place better suited for this event. We do hire our own lifeguards and organize a bbq lunch. All enjoy the water- swimming or lounging on the beach watching the fun. There is a volleyball court, some grassy "sports spaces," and a snack shack and great accessible changing rooms. We encourage fishing, sports and friend-time. Some years we even bring our school yearbooks for signing. Lately we have encouraged student's electronics and music just for the comfort of the bus trip. It is just under 1 hour of travel time allowing for a full school day at the park. One more bonus- as a State Park, it is clean and has friendly, helpful staff!

So well maintained. Facilities are clean and accessible. Hike to scenic vista is challenging but at only one mile round trip, it is approachable. Lake is springfed, so water is clear and cool. Spent one vacation day here and ended up coming for three more. As an experienced state park visitor all across new england I have to rank this one among the best.

Very clean, good amount of parking, friendly staff, lots of space, large playground, decent bathroom/changing areas, good snack bar options. The beach is a little stony but clean. Lots of spaced trees and picnic tables in the grassy area adjacent to the beach, perfect for setting up in the shade while kids play in the sand. Great value, $4 for adults, 3years and under is free! Borrow a free pass at your local VT library to get the whole family in for free!
