REVIEWS OF Natural Bridges National Monument IN Utah

Daniel Holley

Amazing and beautiful.

X Winczlawski

That's an incredible place to observe God's wonderful work. His creation is awe inspiring. You have excellent trails, excellent viewpoints, guides are helping and nice... Another positive point : it's not an over crowded place! To sum up, if I was living closer, I would go more often. (Tips: look at the stars the sky is amazing up there)

Bradley Parke

Park consists of 8-9 mile one way road dotted with scenic viewpoints of the 3 natural bridges in the park. All the arches are visible from short paved walkways, but to really experience the size and beauty of the bridges make the steep hikes down to the bases!

Patrick Moore

Interesting place. The third and oldest bridge is a short hike and worth walking to. The overlooks are decent if not interested in hiking down.

Thor Peterson

A must see while in Bears Ears. Prep for a long hike but very rewarding one.

Vicky Lightning

This is a lovely place for folks with a wide range of abilities. You can take the steepest hike to the bottom of Sipapu Bridge and down the canyon to other Bridges or just take the short walks that are mostly handicapped accessible to each bridge along a 9 mile drive. All of it is beautiful.

Marcellus B.

Awesome natural bridges. Definitely worth seeing. Hikes are medium to mid- low range intensity.

박해동

I love this place

Lonnie Foss

Trails are so you can do as much or as little as you like and lots of beautiful scenery

Margaret Rickards

Such a beautiful place. I have never been one to be a national parks buff. But being out here in Utah and Arizona in the high desert has made a park buff out of me. I now have my senior lifetime national park pass. And I'm planning to try as hit many as possible. the park office / information center was very helpful explain how the senior park pass Works etc etc. Very well kept hiking trails throughout the Park well-marked and maintained. Plus if you come from gooseneck park and go up 261 over the mountain Switchback to the Plateau you get some of the most spectacular views you'll ever see. You are at 7600 ft at the top of the mountain. And then you keep going and you come to the Natural Bridge turn off and then come out and go to Blanding and back to Mexican hat in which is also great place to stay all the Comforts of home great Wi-Fi television all the relaxing things that we have sadly come to rely upon

Megan Harmon

Dude! More people need to know about this National Monument! It's so cool! We were in the area and decided to check it out cuz why not. Best decision ever! They have a bunch of trails that go down to the natural bridges and when you first look at it you think it's gonna be super hard and intimidating cuz you lose a lot of elevation, but the trails are actually great! They are really well maintained and as long as you're comfortable with a couple ladders and stairs, you're set! I have a prosthetic leg and I was super stoked by how accessible the trail was for me! This place is great! Also visiting in the fall is awesome! Temps are perfect and the cottonwoods are beautifully golden!

William Glad

Gorgeous national monument. It snowed while we were there. Absolutely pristine.

Hunter Lewis

This park is a secluded, hidden gem. It's off the beaten path but worth detour! We adventured here over New Year's and had the place to ourselves. Suggestion: Do the hikes. Simply viewing the natural bridges from the overlooks doesn't give you the complete experience. The Sipapu Bridge hike is my favorite due to the primitive ladders, scrambles, and Indian ruins along the way but none of the hikes will disappoint.

Ryan Joshivlogs

Great place to see and look at. There are many big cliffs though

nausher din

I visited natural bridge national park by mistake. I was in monument valley and wanted to do Arches national park and by mistake I typed bridge. Anyway if you’re visiting here make sure you have enough fuel as there were no gas station nearby and you can do a quick ride across the park. It took me just 1 hour as I did not hiked.

B Utah ful

Ron Karpel

Great place for sightseeing and good hiking. Can get hot in the summer

Robert Ashmun

Great park very clean, well run. Quiet campground for smaller vehicles, water at visitor center.

Ken Coenen

Excellent public natural resource

Pat Bowers

Too bad sun wasn't out.

Van Davis

Spectacular, awesome, highly recommend visiting, hiking, camping and enjoying the grandeur of Utah!

levi john

Always a pleasure to see earths natural wonders

Michael Torres

Off the beaten path. If you are traveling to or from the Grand Canyon through Utah (Arches National Park). This is a must see. Easy accessible trails and overlooks make this handicap and kid friendly.

Glenn B

Spectacular drive around the canyon, easy access to stunning views

Paul Kryder

NBNM is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot. I hiked the "upper" part of the loop, between Sipapu and Kachina Bridges. I went to see the bridges, but the most beautiful part of the hike was actually the 2.5 miles of canyon between them, along the stream. The contrast of the emerald-green cottonwood trees and other plants against the orange and white rock of the canyon walls makes this canyon just a paradise. And very few people come here compared with Zion or Bryce, so you can have this slice of heaven practically all to yourself. (Also of note is that there are quite a few different kinds of cacti in this canyon, including a couple that I do not recall seeing before.)

brewandbbq

Nice loop road and plenty of trails to the bridges. All kinds of ruins in the surrounding area also.

Kim Cookemboo

Amazingly beautiful!

Derek Neumann

Great place to visit. If you are camping space can fill quickly. If it is full plenty of dispersed camping off of the BLM lands surrounding it. The canyon trails are unmaintained and are a joy to hike. Short and steep climbs out are moderate. Park staff are wonderful, helpful and nice. Restrooms are clean, the Visitor Center restrooms are heated during cold days and nights for your comfort.

Brad Brown

Another wonderful national monument...

Gary B

Beautiful place!

Darrell Peck

Ranger had a filtered telescope that led me look close up at this sun.

Lynn

Lovely to spend 2-3 hours. Arch views are best from trail not viewpoints. Short with some elevation change must do trail to stand under Owachomo Bridge. Slightly longer to go halfway down trail with stairs and wooden ladder to great view of Sipapu Bridge...full trail down is steep and we didn't do that. Not worth walking to Kachina bridge viewpoint.. can't really see arch unless take the trail. Much longer hiked available if that is what you are looking for. Best news.. NOT CROWDED in mid May...

Shelley Johnsen

Amazing trails, beautiful landscapes and the hike to Kachina Bridge was great. Would love to stay overnight and see the dark skies with all the stars.

Barry Emmons

5 star park. Small so you can get around and see the park in a day. The sights are well marked and the trailhead signs are quite informative. The trails to the bridges are all down steep canyon walls so you should be in decent shape to go but they are worth the effort. Especially the 2nd one since you can't really see it from the view site.

Andy Wetmore

This is not as big as other National Parks, but the bridges are easily accessible for great views if you are willing to do the walking to get there. Fewer people here makes the whole thing more intimate.

Christine Bryant

Beautiful scenery. Treacherous highway coming up the side of the mountain. I was glad my husband was driving. The scenery was amazing from the mining road. Unfit for trailers & motor homes.

Matha Goram

Since this place is not overwhelmed by crowds, one is left to enjoy the natural delights without guilt of photo-bombing others. While there are good viewpoints for the key sights only a few short steps from one's parked vehicle, the trails themselves are easy to moderate and well worth the experience that differs slightly from the more red colored ones further up north. Personally, the night sky experience was extraordinary in every sense - visual and physical.

Tab Jo

One of my favorite places. Just spectacular!

Andrey Antipov

Fantastic.....

Alexander Edwards

Beautiful Park. I only managed to make it to 2 of the 3 main arches before dark. A great spot to go to that is less full of tourists than a few other nearly places.

Crystal Mercer

This is absolutely worth the trip. We took it as a detour on the way to Moab. The detour is not as bad as Google maps and Waze says. It's about 35 miles each way from the highway. It's a beautiful 35 miles and the Natural Bridges are indescribable. Pictures don't do it justice.

Ryan Nettles

Just scratched the surface here. Eager to return. Scenic loop drive takes you close to well marked trails to each of the 3 bridges. Numerous other trails varying in difficulty. New visitor center.

Nabil Al Nahin Chowdhury

Not many people visit this but it is beautiful. Don't take the road 261 if you are afraid of height and definitely don't want to drive there at night. Take the road 95 instead.

Joseph Manteiga

Off the beaten path but well worth the trip bring water and food there are no services plan on spending some time and get out hike a trail you will be well awarded for your efforts

Darius Candelario

A very good place for caimping and bonding with the family. Nature itself will captivate you. Plus you will also enjoy how organize they were and how they prioritize safety. This is also a good place to reflect the wonders of Gods creation.

G Man

Cool...great hiking

J.P. Mazzaferro

Wonderful national monument, a drive to get there but worth it. A must see add you possess through Utah.

Valerie

Beautiful views.

Jerome Gosiak

Fantastic Indian Cliff dwellings.

R. Miller

This place has beautiful views and great trails for day hiking. It's pretty easy to quickly get away from the crowds on some of the linking trails.

A. Cassella

Nice short, but beautiful hikes to massive arches. Great drive out there as well.

James DeHaan

Kinda small but a great place to visit. Staff was very friendly. The arches were cool and trails in good shape.

Shawn Stackhouse

Natural Bridges NM is awesome! This is the only place in the world with 3 natural bridges in such close proximity. I return to this park yearly to exploit the fantastic dark night sky. Night photography is world class here in the park due to the lack of light pollution. All 3 bridges have fun and interesting hikes, and the lower canyons connect so a person can spend a lot of time exploring. There is also an archeological sight known as horse collar ruin, such is another fun Canyon hike.

Mark Noirot

Natural Bridges is part of the epic landscape of Southern Utah. The scenic drive and views never disappoint. The canyons are stunning year round, but autumn colors are a stunning accent to the scenery. Autumn temperatures are also pleasant. There are numerous ancient dwellings in the canyons and the Park Rangers are very helpful. Night photography can be stunning as well at this dark skies park!

Jeff Biallas

Wonderful! 2-3 hour, one-way, drive around, plenty of stops, easy and difficult hiking. 3 big main arches, plenty of teetering rocks.

James & Lynne Hagley

Fabulous hiking. Gorgeous views. We were delighted with the photo opportunities. We took the 3rd hike. It was do-able and quite easy.

Dan Turco

Awesome park, great natural bridges

Lori McAfee

I really loved camping here and exploring on the trails. Peaceful, gorgeous, and rhe arches are across an enormous area. The campground was typical of a National Monument and the spots were small but private. I will be back!!

Jeevan Yerraji

Great place to see night sky

Jeff Garner

Incredible place. Worth the time to get there.

Robert Ball

Beautiful bridges wished we had have time to hike the trails

Jeff Cummings

Windy & cold visitors center is closed on Wednesday otherwise great

Rick Thalhammer

This is a bit off the track of the more famous--and more visited Utah National Parks, but it affords a dramatic encounter with beautiful rock formations. It is easy to view from the road through the rim of the canyons, but even better to drop down in on trails to reach the water and walk the few miles on relatively level ground to see the Bridges right up close. The absence of hordes of sightseers in the springtime made this a highlight.

Chris Winnett

Nice park we mostly just drove thru and stopped at the senic overlooks. There were lots if hiking trail. We didn't walk much because we visited Hovenweep national Monument that morning so had already walked a couple miles that day. If time allows camping and hiking looked like they would be awesome. But the drive was nice too you can see a lot of beautiful stuff from the overlooks. And a beautiful drive into the park as well.

Fraser Drummond

Great little stop if you are in the area. A walk or two down to the arches is definitely recommended if you are able and have time to do so. Nice little visitor centre as well.

Emmanuel Ramos

This place is totally different to any camp I did. I'm sad because was cloudy and we don't have the opportunity to see the milky way. But everything else it was perfect, great views on bridge hikes

Wes Mcleod

I've been to this park on two separate occasions now and for the hiking, and scenery, I'll definitely go back again. In addition, with all of the parks like Zion, Bryce, Arches, and Canyonlands, having so many people visiting daily, it's nice to have somewhere to hike and chill that still provides the isolation factor that is important to me. On both occasions there have only been a handful of people in the park.

Diana Belcher

A bucket Lister. Go and enjoy all the beauty God has made for us to enjoy

C Guidry

Nice small visitor center with a short movie to watch about the formation of natural bridges. Nine Mile scenic driving loop takes visitors to overlooks where the three natural bridges can be viewed. More challenging and more fun are the hikes taking visitors down down down to the bridges. I hiked to Owachomo (easy) and Sipapu ( strenuous). It is awesome inspiring to stand under those bridges and look up at them. They look small from far away, but they're actually enormous.

Walt Martineau

Truly an outstanding park. Overlook s are awesome, hikes tremendous.

Stephen Zahradnik

Beautiful area to hike. The park is close to Bear Ears so definately check that out. The camp sites up the road towards Bears Ears are stunning at night.

Richard Spencer

Off the beaten track but a wonderful place. Get away from the crowds of Arches and get up close to the 3 bridges.

Don A

Natural Bridges was an incredible area. The hikes are easier than arches and it's beautiful. Ranger staff was very professional and helpful.

Jarrod Biggs

Great national monument with good hiking options from short to long.

Anne Denny

Beautiful and peaceful.

David Mackey

Like this more than any national park in Utah. Small, but uncrowded. Out of the way, which yields in amazing night skies (designated a national dark area). Lots of BLM camping on the outside of the park, so just pull over anywhere.

Julie McPherson

You must go here. Breathtakingly beautiful. It is hot though, take water. You can see from the lookouts as well without hiking down.

Bric Anderson

Awesome! Natural bridges is now part of Bears Ears and is one of its must see places. The whole canyon is full of surprises and stunning views. Check it out!

Christopher Elsberry

This National Monument is not easy to get to but it is worth the visit. Since it's so remote you can stand still and just hear the wind howling through the canyon and the calls of ravens, hawks and eagles, and not a sound of any civilization. The three different bridges are stunning as you can see their different ages and how water can drastically change a landscape. Each bridge has their own lookout point or you can hike to the base of each of them and truly witness their stunning beauty.

Cindy Pratt

Awesome place.

Tom Parker

Pretty cool. Need to hike some to get good views.

Scott P

Very nice and scenic.

White Rabbit

Worth the drive. A circle drive allows viewing and hiking of what is claimed to be the world's largest number of natural bridges. It is 40 air moles from Cortez CO, but a 140 mile drive. A small but well done visitor's center. No services nearby so eat and gas up before visiting.

Gerald Lohrey

Amazing geology. Must see for yourself!

Ed Lumsden

What a beautiful site! We were surprised at the accessibility.

Jolien Dirix

Beautiful park with beautiful open views, we only managed to see two bridges because of the rainy weather. There was a thunder storm and the rangers were very good informed about the safety. You can park your car and visit the bridges by foot.

Richard Grumm

Awesome place. Great hikes.

Robert Brouwer

Great park with fabulous views on the natural bridges.

DEVIN SPENST

This was incredible, we hiked with our little kids, 3+ and they handled everything quite well. The bridges are amazing. I think it's an incredibly underated park/monument. If you have young kids take them to the visitor center before you begin and let them do the junior Ranger program.

pezdisc

Cool national park where you can drive and park to see the natural bridges. We didn't have to walk very far to see the bridges. We had a lot of fun

Tim Raines

An awesome place to visit and hike.

Jenn Holt

Liked this park because it’s one of the few national Parks that allow pets in most of the trails. Several arches to hike to and you can visit several national parks on the same day.

Joe Wurtz

Beautiful park, not crowded, well marked trails.

Janida Bonham

Great place to go for views. Staff very helpful. Auto tour is excellent.

Eric Garza

Nice area with historical background. We only did the overlooks and the last bridge which has a shorter hike.

Sam Hale

We stopped here on the drive home from southern utah. It made us want to come back and do some of the longer hikes. The kids did the Junior Ranger Program. We're done the loop and speed at the last bridge and hold down to it. It was a fairly easy hike. I would like to come back and hike the whole canyon. The visitor Center is nice.

Carolyn LeCroy

Thoroughly amazrd6at the bridge formations and cliff dwellings.

Kelsey Clift

This whole area is beautiful! The wonderful thing about the bridges is that there are different difficulty levels for hiking/walking. Most are an easy walking distance. My kids had no problems walking the trails. They are well paved or cleared and have rails in a lot of places. You can go to one or all of them depending on how much you want to walk.

Mary Decker

Amazing work of art.

Shafter Johnston

Great place to spend the day as you’re passing through.

Angela Scott

The rock formations are amazing!

Jesse Harris

Very quiet and off-the-beaten path national monument with spectacular views. While there are some hikes you can (and probably should) take, you can see everything from your car on the short one-way loop around the park.

Desert Solitude Tours

It’s a very quiet park compared to the other monuments in Utah which is due to location. The scenery is spectacular and the one way loop road is a fun and quaint drive.

C.V. Jones Jr

Very nice and well set-up

Marilyn Brustad

Beautiful scenery.

Danny Zhao

Don't know the real difference between bridge and arch but this park is worth to visit. If you have time hike down would be great

Linda Evans

Natural beauty. Getting there was the best part.

Leslie Morlandt

Delicous food, great service, wonderful coffees on tap!! Will go back if ever in the area. Very cool art work on display too.

John Garcia

Good place to see.

Wes Smith

Great place to visit on your way lake Powell or Zion

Rose and Mike Farmer

Only real source for water without going back to Bluff or Blanding except for Kane Creek ranger station which has water in plastic jugs. Their local water was judged too high in iron for public consumption.

Juli SCHKADE

Wow wow wow! This park is a beautiful place. The rangers were great with our kids.

Todd H

Absolutely gorgeous National Park. The ranger was very helpful, and gave us recommendations on the hiking trails based on difficulty.

Wandering WithUsTwo

We visited here after stopping at Monument Valley earlier in the day. It’s around 1.5 hours away and is within 45 minutes of Lake Powell. To get here you’ll need to drive through the Moki Dugway pass. This park is fairly small and when we arrived at 9AM there were very few people aside from us. There is a fee of 10 USD to enter per car which is very reasonable. We have the national parks pass which allowed us to enter for free. This pass has been very useful in our travels providing us free entry into national parks as well as some state parks and discounts on camping and other amenities in select parks. It costs 80 USD but is worth it if you travel to several parks or want a reason to travel more. The entire park is laid out on a one way road that takes you to all the sites with parking at each viewpoint and trailhead. This was unique compared to most parks but definitely made it easy to see everything in a short amount of time. By the time we arrived here we had been up for over 24 hours already so we opted to not do any of the hikes but instead see the sights from the viewpoints. There are several hikes of various levels of difficulty and even one that takes you through all the bridges. If you plan on hiking a few trails this park will take around 3 hours or so to see but you can see everything in about 1.5 hours without the hikes. We plan to come back here when we aren’t exhausted and take a visit to Lake Powell as well! - @wanderingwithustwo

Chris Stirm

My absolute favorite vacation spot. Has the darkest night sky out of all the national parks. Amazing place to go star-gazing. It is now currently ranked 2nd for dark skies.

Jake Utah

Awesome little out of the way monument. Drive by lookouts, short hikes under a half mile, and one to see all the bridges at 9 miles. Some hikes like, Sipapu, involve some guide post scrambling and ladders which adds adventure and young child anxiety. Definitely worth spending some time here.

Katherine Zell

A nice place to visit. Not that big of a park, but if you are into hiking you can easily spend a whole day there checking out the bridges up close.

Chester Karwowski

All of the Utah parks are excellent. Everyone should make it a point to visit these parks at least once in their lifetime.

Jan Pouza

Still not overcrowded. There is such a nice trail so if you want to spent calm hike in really nice nature and scenery this is the one. Reserve a whole day time for that. You will not regret. Prepare yourself with water and food, sunscreen and proper wear. Nice, pleasant and helpful rangers and staff in visitor center.

Kelley Dziedzic

Arrived just before 9 p.m. on a Friday night, and still had 4-5 campsites to choose from. All facilities were incredibly clean (it was 90+ degrees during the day, and the vaulted toilet area somehow managed to smell pleasant). If you're planning on hiking out to all three bridges, a full day is a perfect amount of time. We made it out and back to the first two bridges by 10 am, and then saved the final bridge for around 7, when the temps cooled down. On clear Saturday nights in the summer, a ranger will lead a stargazing program. Even with significant cloudiness, we were still able to look through the telescope and see the moon's craters - very cool!

Trish Coop

Loved it. There are 3 beautiful large bridges that you can see from pull out areas or walk down to them and stand under. There are also Pueblo Indian ruins. Worth the visit.

Davis Parker

Fun hikes

Jason Massey

We did not do any of the trails due to having our dogs with us. They are allowed in the park but not on the trails. We still loved it as there are plenty of overlooks to see and short, paved trails to major views.

Anthony Sicola

Natural Bridges National Monument is a phenomenal place with three natural sandstone bridges spanning the canyon. The hike down to Sipapu is strenuous and steep, but the reward is a green, lush ecosystem at the bottom of the canyon with hiking access to the other two bridges, Kachina and Owachomo through the canyon. If you're able, I highly recommend that hike. If not, there is a lot to see by driving the road at the top of the canyon and getting out at the viewpoints.

Nicolas Raoult

Quite incredible to be almost alone in this park with these great natural bridges.

James Dinwiddie

Out of the way and remote, just like I like it. The hike to the first bridge is hairy scary, especially going down the ladder descending the ledges in a snowstorm with 20 lbs of camera equipment. Last bridge most scenic and an easy hike.

Donna Averitt

One of my favorite vacation destinations for sightseeing and hiking.

Janet Gadd

Don't miss this. It's so beautiful. We were lucky enough to be on the same schedule as a park ranger and learned so much. I would recommend you take the highway there not the "scenic route" from Blanding.

Troy Goodsell

Cool place

Jon Dunkley

Awesome experience. Visitors center is very informative and the staff is friendly. Great place to visit if you want to take long hikes, short hikes, walk to view points on paved paths, or even see sites right from the road. Great options for everyone!

Jeffrey Jacobsen

Incredible views of the awesome power of nature - rock vs water and wind x time.

Eugene Rickle

We loved hiking here! Just remember that all the distance you hike DOWN you must then hike UP! It's strenuous coming back up, but the scenery is worth the hike!

Diana Mueller

Great park with friendly helpful staff!

Jamie Weleber

Off the beaten path so it's usually less crowded than other NPS units in the general vicinity. The trails are thrilling, well designed, well built, and gorgeous - kudos to the trail crews. Staff at the visitor center are knowledgeable and friendly, definitely stop in and see them!

Jd Rayburn

Gods beautiful creation, you really need to see it.

Rosalina Toledo

Wonderful

Jeremy Bone

Thos place was really cool. We really enjoyed hiking down to the last bridge. We had wanted to hike down to the other bridges, but it was pretty cold and we had little kids with us. It is amazing to.see the beauty that is in our backyards though.

Hanni Nichols

You should definitely hike down to at least one bridge for a completely different perspective. It's so worth the effort. Owachomo bridge is only 0.2 miles down and the easiest one to get to and you can stand right underneath it. It's really beautiful scenery down there by the bridge. It's all down hill though so remember you'll have to come back up... Take your time and you can make it even if you're not in the greatest of shape. Theres a pretty great view down a little ways if you dont want to go all the way down, but it's really great to get up underneath these bridges and really appreciate the scale of them!

Mary Ybarra

One of the best parks. Amazing bridges cut thru canyon s

Michael Briggs

Easy park for a day trip. Three natural bridges you can see from the parking area or you can hike down the trails.

Jeremy Anderson

Incredible monument. Highly recommend for a beautiful hike, whether long or short. The loop has beautiful canyons and ruins/pictographs, and the top hikes go past incredible crypto soil. Very few people come here, and so this is a perfect place to experience incredible landscapes and bridges without having a thousand people around you.

Alan Black

Out in the middle of nowhere, not crowded. Amazing scenery. No internet. Quiet and peaceful.

Anes Hawro

Beautiful and pretty easy hike, great place to visit with the family.

Ken and Alicia Lund

This monument is well worth visiting. The sandstone and landscape is quite different from Arches NP. The hike to the bridges is a strenuous, but worthwhile. The neatest bridge, Owachomo Bridge, is an easy walk. The other two can be seen from a distance from the drive-up viewpoints. Beautiful area, and usually very quiet and peaceful.

Kendra Andrews

Some tough stretches on the hike, but overall a nice walk and the views are worth it.

John Sands

Great natural formations. Either see them from the overlooks or hike the trail for a closer look at the them

Weston Fisher

Beautiful national monument! Bridges is a little hard to navigate, and far from pretty much everything. But once youre there it's pure magic! The campground was full when I arrived so I camped along the highway not far from the park entrance where they allow camping. It was a lot of fun actually.

Angela Butler

Lots of walking but absolutely gorgeous.

Wartooth Collectibles

Very nice national park with great views of the bridges as well as many trails of varying length and difficulty. I was able to hike down from the top viewpoint to the bottom of the natural bridge, then continue along a dry creek bed for a couple of miles. Very scenic and a nice hike!

Tien Vo

Great place with many walks. Beautiful open views with lots of white stones. The bridges are grand and spectacular. If you are short on time, do the third bridge as this is the shortest and easiest to walk to.

Bill S

As with many natural wonders, this place isn’t easy to get to but it is well worth the trip. The Bridges View Road around the park brings you to view points to the natural bridges with short walks to the overlooks. Plan you walks along the longer trails during the cooler parts of the year and day.

Justin Pratt

This was a fun stop with kids. They were able to do all the viewpoint hikes, if you can even call them hikes. The were also able to do part of the hike to kachina bridge. We stopped before the switchbacks, but it was enough for them to experience the landscape and get some activity in.

David Duncan

Beautiful place to visit. Worth the drive.

Sharon Lucas

Natural Bridges is a relatively small, generally uncrowded park. I suppose I'm spoiled but I don't think this area of Utah is as spectacular as the other parks in southeast Utah. If you don't have a lot of time to spend in Utah, skip Natural Bridges and concentrate on the bigger parks.

Lara Watrous

Absolutely beautiful. Very informative trail brochures and good variation for hiking trail lengths. Also have lookout spots for the bridges so you don't have to hike and are handicap accessible. If the campsite is full, you can find plenty of spots along the bla roads near by.

Andy Kelleher

This place is incredible. It's so far out of the way that you can be relatively isolated most of the time, which really helps you appreciate the natural features around you. Each of the bridges is impressive in it's own right, and there are plenty of viewpoints for people who don't want to go all the way to the base of each one.

david cencak

Great place lots of hikes very scenic

Celeste Ruppelt

Natural Bridges National Monument is located inside Bears Ears National Monument, alongside UT Hwy. 95, which is the only entrance. It features the thirteenth largest natural bridge in the world. This park showcases the power of water in a landscape primarily defined by its absence. The three bridges in the park are named Sipapu (the largest), Kachina (the youngest) and Owachomo (the oldest) which are all Hopi names, and these are the main attractions. They are accessible from the Bridge View Drive, a nice 9-mile paved road, with picnic facilities, but no rest rooms. The road winds along within the park and goes by all three bridges, and by hiking trails which lead down to the bases of the bridges. Their natural habitat is harsh, dry and hot, feeling warmer even than the actual temperature. Good walking shoes, plenty of water, and shade gear are must-haves, even if you do not hike the trails. Distance is deceiving and the terrain is rough.
