You need to fix the roads and plant seed in the burn area. As far as I can tell it's not been touched you let the fire get out of control now you need to fix it. This land belongs to everyone you just oversee it and me as a citizen want it fixed so I can drive up the roads safely

Another great trip up to Black Mountain near Mayfield, UT. It was a bit hot in the afternoons which is unusual for this time of year (but it's a hot year all around). Stargazing was great. Deer were out. Both elk though.

I love visiting the La Sal mountains. When it's warm down in the valley a 20-30 min ride and it drops 20 degrees. There are some beautiful areas in the canyons and up on top. They also have a few trails that are less than 66" or 55" that are a lot of fun on dirt bikes, 4 wheelers or RZRs if you have the slimmer version. I wish I could camp there more than once or twice a year.

Loved the drive through this forest. We drove through when tall mountains were covered in snow, and it made it so picturesque. We found a quaint lake and caught 13 trout in a few hours. Beautiful place. Great for a nice relaxing drive.

Bugs OMG bugs and the bug spray was just seasoning! Anyway it's overall a very beautiful place to get off the beaten track and go camping, the family and I went early August and got eaten alive by the mosquitoes and horse flies but that could be due to the time of year and location we chose to camp in but overall our camping trip was pretty fun!

The forest is very beautiful, and there are plenty of flat places for primitive camping that do not require an off-road vehicle. Most of the roads do not have seasonal restrictions, but it never hurts to check the motor vehicle maps beforehand (on the forest website). It's a great place to make family memories and enjoy the outdoors.

There is so much to do here! Anything from riding atvs or going mountain biking or fishing or hiking! It's always so fun to come here, or even just drive through the area and look at the geography and terrain. Its definitely for kids, and there is something for everyone!

Manti-La Sal is a Hugh forest area, especially the Skyline byway and the loop road near Moab UT is particularly recommended according to my personal experience. Other part of the Manti-La Sal NF is wonderful to explore too.

Great National forest. If you are in this area camp in this forest one night. We stayed there 4 night and loved it. Just carry water with you. No potable water in the mountains.

This place is my home away from home. I love the drive through the canyon and all the great places you can stop at. Don't miss the opportunity to drive this canyon during the fall as the leaves change. Keep your camera out for all the amazing caves and rock formations you can see from the highway. The various types and colors of rocks you'll see are impressive and breathtaking.

This is a wonderful retreat. At first you seem to be limited to the typical arid mountain scenery but going up in elevation into the canyon leads to a surprising scene of forests (Aspen, evergreen, & more), snow capped mountains, beautiful vistas, etc. I was very pleasently surprised- who knew Ephriam Utah had something to offer?!

This area is just as beautiful as the national park, and there are plenty of free campsites available if you want a backcountry free site. I saw a ton of wildlife and traces of animals in the area as well.

If you haven't been here, you are missing out. The views are amazing!!! Opportunities for picture galore. Absolutely something for everyone of any age. The trails are well maintained and make for a great 4 wheeling or camping trip with a trailer. The campsite we past was quiet and clean with lots of open space to roam around. I loved the view of the sun coming up from on top of the ridges on Skyline Drive.

Manti-La Sal National Forest is a hidden gem of Utah that encompasses a vast part of the Wasatch Plateau. Many beautiful sights to see within the forest, and the mountains create a stunning backdrop from the Sevier and Castle Valleys. There are many well maintained roads cutting over and through the mountain, giving excellent access to all the neat sights. The skyline drive is well worth the journey, with many alpine/sub-alpine lakes dotting the mountain valleys below. I have been on a couple fishing trips with family in the Manti-LaSal National Forest, and in one day were able to catch fish in 5 different reservoirs within close distance of each other. Much recommended trip, especially for those looking for a quiet place to spend a week camping, horse riding, mountaineering, and even has some decent looking rock climbing routes scattered throughout. There are fossilized plant fossils and seashells in some key areas as well that I keep wanting to go in search of. One of my favorite places to go close to home to escape the towns and the madness.

If you're looking for diversity in terrain this is the place. Many forms of wildlife and Vistas to see.

Beautiful, mountainous forest. However, only passable in summer months, Ephraim Canyon Road was still covered in snow on 4/19/19. Highway 31 from Fairview was plowed and easily travelled. Summit of around 6400', great camping on the east side of forest.

They have some accomodation for camping and jeep roads. With a lake or two for fishing some trout, not huge fish .we had a out house close to a camping area. Their is lots of thick brush in areas it's a long drive. I, got sunburned. It's a real forest and its warm alot.

This area has an incredible transition from red rock desert up into high alpine wooded mountains. I was riding a BMW F 800GS adventure motorcycle and found endless routes perfectly suited for a big ADV bike. This is truly God's country!

Beautiful area for camping, hiking, biking and so much more. Beautiful pastures in the mix of the heavily wooded areas to set up camp or stay for a while. Just watch out for all the cows as they are everywhere and will run over your things if you're too spread out but otherwise they make for some good company.

The National Forest is always a great place to visit for a weekend, a week or longer. Typically quiet and peaceful with too much scenery to mention individually. Great variety of trees, rocks, cliffs, mountains, and views. Not to mention wildlife; mammals, reptiles , insects and birds.

Great place to hunt and fish. Electric lake is low and fishing from the shores is about impossible. The autumn leaves are beautiful. The salmon going up to spawn is quite a sight. Lots of deer and elk wandering every wear.
