REVIEWS OF Possum Kingdom State Park IN Texas

Mike T.

Very nice state park. Facilities are clean and well maintained. There is at least one located in every section of the park. The park staff is great. Very helpful getting acclimated when we first arrived. We stayed mid week and swimming area was not crowded. Other park goers were generally well behaved and respected the 2200 quiet time.

Johannes kohn

Park was great and the boating was fantastic! Large easy boat ramp to launch your water toys. If you have a large 5th wheel most if the spots are pretty tight though, we have a 40' toy hauler and I had to park my truck and boat somewhere else because of the tight spot. Bathrooms are not the best either. Over all it's a great place for a family camp trip.

Jim Davis

Park has not changed in 50 years. And it showes it. Water has been added in some sites. Electrical has been added in a few sites. No sewer. Most Sites have never been up dated. That's not a chip on my shoulder. I was out there 55 years plus ago. Our district Managers must never actually go and check themselves. And their bosses must just sit on their butts too. You might as well turn Possum Kingdom State Park into an area for 500,000 $ homes.

Caleb Stickel

Really nice place. Didn't meet the staff, so I have no review on them. I do think they should consider a good swim spot though. Not being able to fish off of the boat dock was irritating. The fishing pier is good, but I think they should cover it.

Beth P

Pretty lake, great for boats

laurie horridge

Best place ever!

Haley Moore

The cabin was great

Evan Rodgers

Beautiful, well kept park. There are a couple easy hiking trails with great views. We stayed in the "primitive" area which was just a short walk from our car and right on the lake front. I can't wait to come back.

Maddy P

Had a great weekend camping at Possum Kingdom lake. Great sites and clean restrooms

Curtis Sonstegard

Worst camping experience of my life

Dora Duncan

This is a beautiful state park! We enjoyed our time there!

Jonathan McPherson

Beautiful camping

Celina Lyle

The lake is usually blue and clear. I posted pictures of the lake after heavy rains and wind.

Leslie Rodriguez

Beautiful Lake! Just they had alot of rain and the lake was full, hard to see where the kids could swim. Lots of wildlife police in the water got pulled over for a "safety inspection".

SHER-LYNN Berry

My family had a wonderful time camping on the lake. Beautiful and entertaining for the young minds. Bad cell, no net. Have fun together fishing hiking and cooking out!

Laura Bogar

We visited this park in late spring of last year when it was starting to get pretty hot outside. The lake was near our campsite so we could easily cool off in with our dogs. We definitely enjoyed the convenient accessibility. However, we found the park police to be quite rude and patrolled around the campsites excessively. I understand that they are enforcing the park rules but it was extremely excessive and made campers feel uncomfortable. We felt like we were being monitored constantly.

Emily G.

I had an audience with the His Majestie the Possum King last Tuesday. His Majestie is a very fair ruler and listened solicitously as I argued for opening up diplomatic relations between the possum and cat communities. I have every confidence that we shall achieve this goal before the new year.

Denny Wood

Very nice state park, fishing is great

Steve Courtney Cohen

Such a fun weekend. Has great camping spots right on the water, beautiful trees and nice hiking. Some of our group stayed in the cabins, some in tents, and some in campers. Electrical hookups a local shop to supplies...all around great.

Gabriel Morin

Dry climate, beautiful scenery, lot of activities

christopher gallegos

1st annual Easter egg hunt

Christopher Rivera

I've been coming to Possum Kingdom every since I was a little kid when my dad would bring me. That was back when the deer would come out of the mountains and we could feed them Ritz crackers that the small convenience store sold. Now I'm 37 years old and I'm bringing my kids to Possum Kingdom and they enjoy it also.

Tracy Smith

The best place to camp!

Doug Farmer

Beautiful lake but really crowded in the summer time.

Michael Thompson

This is a fantastic State Park with lots of family friendly amenities. Tons of lakefront camping spots with great fishing and places to hang out in the water!

AJ Alcúdia

A lot smaller than I expected but it is clean and well kept. The small swimming area is adequate.

adam armstrong

A lot of fun for kids and family.

zeke ibarra

So beautiful and clean.

Paula Riggs

We are in Shady Grove area site 49. Water and electric. No full hookups. Right on water. Has metal picnic table, firepit. And standing grill. Slab is narrow, but we got in on first try with a truck and 27 foot trailer. The view is awesome. No luck fishing. See em but can't catch em. There are trails to hike, motorless watercraft to rent, restrooms and showers. I'd come back.

Bianca I. Marquez

Great, great camping with nice private campsites.

Kevin McBride

Had a Super helpful staff at the Park. Slight mishap on the lenght of our site on the online reservation but the Park Staff saved weekend. Thanks

James Helgason

Great camping sites for tent camping. Far for bathroom but otherwise perfect spot.

alls good

New vacation spot for us. Loved every day in our cabin in the lake with our family

James Reed

Great campground and good fishing. But make sure you have everything you need before you get there. Long ways to a store

john hahaha

Still an awesome place!! 1st visit here in over 25 years..now my kids enjoyed it, just like I did when I was a kid!

Amanda Troyer

Campsite was clean. Camp store was well stocked and run by the sweetest couple.

cody roberts

Nice park great place to go kayaking.

Andrew Pratt

The trails and facilities were very well maintained. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how clean the restrooms were. There are some very cool spots along the water to sit back and relax. Really enjoyed our time here.

Darryl Parker

Nice day trip for getting outdoors great lake for boating. However if you want to get on the trails or not be around more of the recreational activities and noise than this would not be my first pick.

James Chambless

Great park. Well taken care of. Beautiful lake.

Amit Grover

This is understated yet elegant beauty... On a beautiful spring day with temps in the 80s... A cooling breeze in the afternoon... A really awesome place to be Refreshed us to the core

Maria Rosenberg

Possum Kingdom State Park is another beautiful Texas state park. I loved looking at the scenic views, getting to take pictures of the beautiful flowers and just enjoy being outdoors. I really liked that they had dog hook ups at the picnic tables, that made things more convenient. This is a great park to check out.

Matha Goram

Enjoyed my visit given the beginner level things-to-do. Reasonable acquatic sports, simple hiking trails and a variety of camping options - primitive, day use, traditional and air conditioned single units. The park store provided excellent fishing advice supplemented by live bait which led to easy catches from the pier. Folks were sharing the pier space in an egalitarian manner and several more experienced anglers offered advice to kids with successful results. There are migratory ( e.g. cranes) birds passing through the park. Plenty of domiciled water fowl too. Given the large number of deer feed stands outside the park, I would not be surprised to learn that other mammals visit the park too. If it weren't for the lights from the northern shore, I feel that the park would provide excellent opportunity to view the night sky in greater optical detail.

David Rapson

Very nice water for this lake. Noticed employees picking up trash and keeping the place nice...hiking was excellent for scenic pics. Highly recommend for weekend getaways!

carlos perez

Bring your own firewood, it is about $12 a small bundle on-site. For this reason, I am posting a low score. They should not take advantage of campers. The sites are good though, bathrooms clean, campsites are taken care of.

Lucia Monroy

Beautiful park, plenty of water activities including kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. The park is pet friendly and I was a le to bring my dogs on the canoe. The convenience store pretty much has everything you could need if you forget anything. Most camping sites have water views.

Ricky Ho

If you use a cabin, bring your own linens! Cabin #2's fireplace did not funnel smoke well. Stick to the fire pit outside.

brian maly

Fantastic service and food. Family friendly environment.

Joe Willis

Not a lot of trails, but the views were amazing. Nice staff and the area was well cared for.

juan hernandez

Had an amazing hike with an incredible view!

Mindy Goldsmith

Nice lake but some of the camping sites for RVs are very unlevel, small, and difficult to get into. The sites on the lake looked good, but the ones on the inner loops are hit or miss.

Kevin Meyer

Great state park within a few short hours of Dallas. The campsites are well maintained, some primative, some with water, and others with electrical power... If you are looking for a camp site with options, this is very reasonable.

Justin Hill

Very beautiful park, secluded, minimal cell service which is nice when you want to get away for the weekend. Lake is refreshing, and the fish is plentiful.

Peggy Reyes

Great getaway. Get a spot with water and electric.. Definitely comes in handy :)

Tiffany Frey

Had a great camping trip here. Our site was perfect! Lake access within feet of our tent. With a great platform for our floats to cast in and out of. The flies were insane under our pavilion. So much so you would have thought there was a dead body. Outside of the flies our site was perfect.

Christopher Giles

Full service state park on the shore of Possum Kingdom Lake, located in the Palo Pinto Mountains between Mineral Wells and Breckenridge. Western area includes trailer camping area, cabins, walk-in camping area, fishing pier, and swimming area. Eastern area includes a boat ramp and multiple tent camping areas that range from open sites near the water to more secluded sites above and near the water. Park water is NOT POTABLE--drinking water must be brought in. Excellent lake access, but few non-lake-centered amenities such as trails. Can be incredibly crowded, particularly on summer weekends and holidays.

Paul Dormeyer

Beautiful lake and campsites.

Jay Davis

Great facilities, great views.

Rachel Campbell

Great place for boating, hiking and camping. Not too expensive and lots of variety in terrain for hiking. However, if it's too windy, they will not rent kayaks or canoes.

George Chen

This time I towed my RV here for 2 nights, enjoy the nature and the lake view. Have to book earlier in long weekends or you have to leave for fully occupied. The big issue is the dump station, only one dump port even there’re 2 lanes for RV, wait 30 minutes to dump my rv, strongly suggest add another port for dumping!

Charla Myers

Possum Kingdom may be nice for summer camping, but in early spring the area is drab and dead looking. It is a nice big park with lots of campsites but way too noisy. Loud music, yelling, and carrying on after midnight is unacceptable. And there is no enforcement of the park rules after dark. We won't be going back.

Jean Welch

Beautiful place but cell service is really poor. We were very disappointed that Hell's Gate was not visible from shore.

Chris Quick

Overall, this place was a great way to spend a weekend camping. However, the place is very remote and the on site store closes at 7. This means you have to drive at least 45 minutes if you are unable to get what you need before they close (or if you want cheaper prices). The restrooms and showers for our tent area are in need of remodeling as several of the showers were not fully operational. Additionally, there are no vents in the building to allow stream from hot showers to escape, so just going to the bathroom is much like going to a sauna.

Steven Simmons

This park was an awesome place to camp for the night, tons of camping spots, clean bathrooms and showers, and the hiking trail to the overlook was well worth going to at dusk. Being right on the lake was even better as sitting at the picnic table listening to the wildlife was just the icing on the cake.

J Bell

We had a great time for 2 nights @ site #53 in Shady Grove loop. The only thing that would have made it better would be wi-fi!

Jared Ahmed

Gotta love the great state parks of Texas. Hiking trails were nice and well kept. Fishing on the pier was awesome.

Ian Reese

I had an awesome time! I slept at the primitive campsites and the view was super great. There was some neat hiking and good views! I would highly recommend going here, even if just once.

Andrew Clogg

Quaint. Friendly and helpful locals... Particularly Jeff at the convenience store who gave us lots of great information about the area

Anna Dean

I camped out here with a group of friends for the weekend. The lake was beautiful and it's huge and the hiking trails were pretty good. We stayed at campsites 30 31 32 and the area was really clean and nice. The only downfall was the fans were not working in the women's bathroom so there was no ventilation and the heat and humidity were stifling. I waited until early morning or went to the other camp areas bathrooms.

Monica Atwood

We went mid summer and it was hot and dry. Swimming area smelled. Quite a ways to park from main road. Upper part of lake was more desirable.

jackie gregg

Perfect spot. Beautiful views. Rangers made us feel safe.

Melissa Wright

Great place, clean and affordable. Certainly a place to take the family, and in our two nights there, "quiet" time was observed at 10pm and made for a peaceful night on the lake.

Nashad Alam

Very nice and clean park to visit. Camping and hiking available. A must visit

Vera Isbell

Perfect for family vacation

Pat Chandler

The shower facilities were not in as good a shape as other TX State Parks that I have visited, but the lake is one of my favorites. However, the park store, courtesy docks, nice shaded and fairly level campsites make this a very good park. The park store was very well stocked and it was nice to be able to get reasonably priced gas in the park, especially since the nearest town is approximately 20 miles.

Shreedhar Regmi

Nice Atmosphere, Great for camping and Hiking

Zee Bee

It might be bad timings or maybe it's that I'm not suited for this. But I didn't have any good time here. It might be Scenic in summer but in winter it looked kind of depressing. But again I'm comparing it to Arkansas New England California or Washington which are more Scenic for sure at base Line. Maybe it's a good place for fishing but I'm not a fisherman. Maybe the Boating is nice in summer but it was closed for the winter. And another thing that I didn't like was the rooms the cabins I mean. It's very dated and there are so many cracks in the wall where the wind was blowing into the room making it impossible for the heater to make it warmer for this unusually cold Texas winter. The park rangers were really really nice though. We had booked for 4 days but they gave us refund for 3 days after our one miserable day here. Which was really nice so we didn't have to suffer. Maybe it's a good place if you don't have young kids.

Gene Browning

One of my favorite state parks as far as trails and beauty. RV spaces are a bit small overall and that keeps it from 5 stars.

Bonnie Ditto

A state park <3. Good hiking trails. Well maintained. Wish had full hook ups. Good fishing. As with most state parks, quiet, family oriented.

Danny Allen

I Love Possum Kingdom lake

Toby Robbins

Great State Park! Nice hiking trail and swimming area. We rented kayak and had lots of fun.

Lisa Partesius

It was beautiful and peaceful. The campsites are spacious. Campsite #50, the pull-in for a camper is a tight fit. Depending on where your hookups are located, you could be facing the road instead of the lake. There is lots of space to set up games. There was a huge full moon and the lights reflecting off the water was gorgeous.

justin King

Fun place we had a great time. Needs more hiking trails.

Haylee Bush

Amazing and clear water!

Antonio Mendoza

Good place

Shane Fondren

This is my happy place.

Ann Vela

Great place to go camping with the family

Beverly Short

We have a great site, lake view but unbelievably unlevel.

Tom Robbins

Love this park! Recommend, when you go, stop in and say hello at the camp store. If you’re the least bit curious and care to ask, you’ll get some great recommendations for local sightseeing near the park (Johnson Peak and Morris Shepard dam are both well worth the short drive from the entrance). The limited trails within the park are very nice, and offer great views. If the wind isn’t over 10mph, you can rent a kayak or paddle board to enjoy on the water, and several marinas have vendors offering waterbikes and pontoon boat rentals.

rikpallav

Very beautiful Park for camping and fishing. There are couple of small hiking trails one can do with kids. Public toilets well kept.

Charline Ruiz

Beautiful Park! We camped Lakeview and it was great! Large spacious campsite with water and a nice amount of natural shade. The campsite also had a waist high grill, a firepit with a grate and a metal picnick table which was located on a concrete slab. The staff at the store were pleasant as were the rangers that checked us in at the gate. My kids enjoyed splashing in the lake which was beautiful! We found a scorpion so don't forget to shake out your boots in the morning! The only minor downside for me was the restrooms, more specifically the showers. The shower stall was tiny therefore helping your little ones would be very difficult, the changing area was equally cramped. We opted to skip showers since we were only camping over a weekend. Our camp neighbors were pleasant and respectful eventhough we were flanked on both sides by larger groups. We will definitely return to Possum Kingdom State Park. Thank you for providing a wonderful park!

Brian Rivers

The park facilities were in great condition. The campsites are well sized and laid out. The parking slips in every site I saw were level. Water and power were easy to get to and worked great. For the size of the park, there could be more hiking trails.

Dana Britton

Very nice state park with rv back in sites (only) next to a lske. About 15 miles off the highway.

William Happel

Best lake near dfw and a clean park...grate place

Jay Semple

Such a great park! We found a great site and had tons of hiking behind our tent. Store had a lot of supplies too. We’ll be back and our kids loved it.

Sheena Rathbone

We had a blast

abel vega

Always fun in the sun and water but need update on things for kids play area

Jack London

Had a great birthday weekend camping with the family. We caught plenty of fish to keep the kids happy and also a small tarantula. The hiking was scenic and the bathrooms were clean. Also loved the access to free hot showers. The camp sites aren’t great of you are bringing a large RV but the camping sites for tents are cozy and right on the water.

john huckobey

Beautiful lake front camping!

Judy Grillo

Pretty, warm lake in an out of the way setting with affordable camping & a great staff. Unfortunately, it's over discovered & the noise of powerboats, jetskis & trucks is never-ending. Try mid-week for a more relaxed experience.

Cynthia Dollins

Lake was perfect for paddling most of the time were here. Only one day was the wind blowing hard. The rest of the time it was great.

Feliperductions

Was good after we found a campground that could fit our camper. They were very nice.

Carol Ray

Beautiful lake and lots of fun for our family reunion! Definitely recommend this park!

Michelle S

This park is off the beaten path which seemed great. However, once inside it was very busy. The main thing I dislike about this park is how it's laid out. When we go camping or to a state park, we're there to enjoy nature not other people. The campsites are basically on top of each other. We could never find any peace. The water is beautiful and probably good fishing and swimming but we will go elsewhere. It's just not for us.

marecanine

Great! Everything was clean and neat. Go back sometime!

Elie Kachouh

Constant police harassment takes the fun away. They have no clue what damage they are doing to this place.

Erik and Rhonda

Great park rangers and a peaceful time

James Pugliesi

No TV or phone service

Peaches Tanner THE FAM

Love it here.

Lori Bonner

Very good facilities and lake access from our tent campsite!

Tina Soper

The store in the park, friendly people and clean bathrooms!

Missy Wall

Small camp sites. Does not suit our needs.

Jeremy Lee

Awesome campsites on the water

BJ flynn

Nice camping facilities beautiful lake

LILO42284

Gorgeous state park, great for kayaking and boating.

Katherine Angell

Loved every minute of PK. The office staff was so nice and welcoming and waking up to a beautiful Texas sunrise and watching the bazillion stars at night is truly magical. We will definitely be coming back.

Gerardo Flores

It's beutifull and freindly berry clean showers

truetexas

Great lake site #48 is extremely unlevel. But very nice.

Sima Raymajhi

This place is awesome if you want to spend one or two days. It had great lake with a beautiful view. You could go for boating and dive in the lake its so beautiful out there.

Nancy Keyser

First time to visit PK. Really really enjoyed it. We left late and arrived later then we wanted but got to our site and settled in. Kept tripping the breaker at the electric post. Called the Ranger at the park and were told to move to closest site and they would be out in the morning. There were 7 of us, 5 children and 2 adults, but we changed sites (no problem with that breaker), made dinner and went to bed. Next morning they were out, replaced the breakers and we got back to our site and all was good. We took walks to different campsites on the lake and investigated anywhere we could. It was so quiet and relaxing. We were there during the week and not the weekend. The state park was clean and well kept. The bathrooms need updating. We will be going back.

M Johnson

Possum kingdom state park is a nice, remote state park with a large "lake" and nice campgrounds . The lake is actually a section of the Brazos River created by a dam. There are cabins, RV spots with hook-ups, wooded tent sites, and open group sites available. I personally like the campsites in the 100 section the best. There is a marina and camp store that offers groceries and camp items, including bait and fishing gear, boat fuel, etc.

Dred Verone

Had great time with our friends. Nice quiet camping as it should be.

Kevin Folsom

Nice amenities with store, docks and gas on shore and water. Just no sewer connection options.

Chris Phillips

This was our second year camping at Possum Kingdom. It's a bit far of a drive from Houston, but we enjoy going back. Lots of good camping spots and reasonable hiking. Only concern is the convenient store closes pretty early, so be sure to stock up on firewood and other necessities before 7.

Andy Connell

ridiculous we got harassed by the state police here they searched our campsite three times within two days and also searching my car finding nothing. I've never been so uncomfortable in a state park in my life the state police told us we could drink and our tents but as we threw away the can you went ahead and ticketed as for an open display of alcohol so I didn't understand how we're supposed to throw away our cans. The people next to us that night party so loud till 3 a.m. we couldn't sleep. I'm here with my family my 5 year old daughter to fish and camp but we left early due to the police harassing us in our campsite.I will never come to this state park again and would never recommend it.

Ashley Burns

Fun place to unplug.

greg dlp

Nice place to relax and do some fishing and camping.

Sara Jones

One of my favorite state parks - so many great campsites, incredible views, friendly staff. Giving 4 stars as our most recent trip involved a rusted out grill collapsing on us as we were cooking dinner. May need to have equipment/sites checked more regularly/consistently, but overall a wonderful place to go with or without the kids/family.

Larrissa Melchert

The water was wonderful!

Jack Vandegriffe

Pretty sexy if I do say so myself. No light pollution so the stars were

Brandon Smith

Very polite staff. Clean facilities including the cabin we stayed in. Nice lit fishing pier. Laundry room (a bit expensive though, $2 to wash and #2 to dry...bring your own quarters). Nice little store with the necessities. Clean campsites.

Marcy Gall

Great place for family camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing, etc. Nice little shop located on site with a wide assortment of goods and necessities such as water, ice, wood, food stuffs, and so much more.

Cheryl STATON

Very nice and quiet.

Kim Ferryman

Really cool atmosphere and guy that runs the place is great. Very friendly!!

Shawn Hubbard

Beautiful Lake well taken care of great campground

Texas Turner

Great scenic place to drive to.

Jesse Cross

This PLACE has covers over most of the tables now and fire pit at every site and even 2 new bathrooms.

Pam LaMay

Nice park, directions were a little hard to figure out. It ended at a home lol. We just kept going. Oh that was using my Onstar. Pulled up maps and just followed the road. Restrooms nice and clean huge plus for me. We want to go back one day to camp for awhile.

Angela Wood

Beautiful. Enjoyable and great camping spots

Joli Ballew

The bathrooms were not vented - or should i say that the vents were closed- and it was stifling in there. One bathroom didn’t have and way to have any privacy while showering either. No doors and no curtains. Our first site had NO place for even a single tent. Luckily I was able to camp on a friend’s site but I didn’t get my money back because I’d already checked in fifteen minutes earlier. On that site only one power outlet worked so we had to make a single plug work for four people. A lady came in after me - while i was trying to figure out why I’d have to pay for a site i could not camp on - wanting a site - and I told her I would not be staying at mine and she could have it / since I wasn’t going to get my money back - and the woman in the office had a conniption! Said it didn’t work that way. There were a ton of empty sites even tho they said the grounds were full. I will go to mineral wells next time. I won’t be back.

Paul L

Primitive camping spots good

April Maly

My family has been going to Possum Kingdom State Park every summer since 1999/2000. We absolutely love this place! Great state park store, great cabins, great camping spots and the lake is beautiful! We have looked at other places to camp along the lake and nowhere else competes with the state park! When you visit, come here, go see Jeff and Lisa at the store and enjoy the beautiful lake!

Brian Cowden

Great place for fishing.

A Cast

Great place, great trails. Even the drive was nice, welcome to hill country. The convenience store closes very early.

Kimberly Avery

This is where my dad used to take us camping God rest his soul

Jennifer Barnes

Weathered the weather and had a great time. Hiking was excellent.

Butch Mcdonald

Very nice lake. Rentals in all price ranges.

death by paradox

One of the better parks I've been camping at! Gorgeous rolling hills with fun little trails for a short hike! ( i wouldn't recommend going off trail due to the shrubs and cacti scattered everywhere). The bathrooms are clean and well stocked for the amount of traffic they get and the shower station had working hot water! If you want a really good campsite next to the lake you'd better book at least a month in advance because spots fill up fast! The swimming area grass is trimmed and well maintained, the lake shore has sandy and rocky patches! The swimming area floor in mostly soft and sandy. Minimal to no pollution ANYWHERE! Lots of insects but there were minimal mosquitoes. The woman in the store was super sweet! Plus they had everything from batteries and tent supplies to fishing poles and marshmallows! Gorgeous and safe family fun!

muminur rahman

Does have firepits and bbq grills

Loriann Butts

Very beautiful place.

Leslie Perez

Love it!! Confortable and cleaning

Robert Lane

Great park, sites are on the small side.

Bill Isham

Recently spent a couple nights in Spanish Oaks. Second time I've found one particular female ranger somewhat abrupt and borderline rude. Little blonde haired woman. I've had something of a history with this park. I think her time would be better spent cleaning restrooms and cabins and not greeting customers. State Parks are, after all, a hospitality business and paying customers should be treated in that light.

Texas Roofer

What's not to love? Rangers are awesome, sites and showers are well maintained.

Aaron Watson

Our family loves it here. Clean and very quiet. Tons of wildlife to see. Camp store is awesome and the couple running it are very sweet and helpful. They do not gouge on prices. It’s a bit higher than your regular grocery store but that’s to be expected. Highly recommend

SF Ross

Cool camping areas, hiking trails and more. 1st time visit enjoyed very much.

Jesse Garcia

Our first camping trip ever... we loved it. Clean water to swim in and clean facilities. Just one recommendation though, have better ventilation in the bathrooms.

Combat Wings

Our family loves to go camping here! It is a beautiful park with a lake that you can go boating or fishing on. Adults pay $4 per day to get in which is not bad at all. The have primitive camp sites, tent sites with water/electric as well as RV spots. There are a few hiking trails of varying distances to choose from. They also have group camping.
