I usually come here all the time but I think I’m about to start just going all the way out to Katy because I’ve never been so irate in my time coming here.i come in to get a lane and get told it’s going to be a 30 minute wait, ok that’s fine. I sit around for 5-10 minutes and look up to see 13 lanes empty.i go to the bar order a drink and pay, and 15-20 minutes later I look up and check the lanes out and see the same 13 lanes still empty.why do I need to wait??i nor the people I bring with me plan on coming back anytime soon until y’all can fix this bs.

We had an awesome experience at The Main Event - Stafford today for our four years old's birthday party! The kids had a great time, the food was good, and the price was less than expected. Everything was clean, organized, and well run which made the experience much easier on the adults! We learned when we arrived that we also had the benefit of an employee who was dedicated to us and acted as our event coordinator throughout the party! She was our very much needed right hand woman, helping with anything at all and keeping us on track with timing from start to finish. This venue was the perfect choice for our party. I really like the setup of this location. Everything is just about in seeing distance from the center of the room to keep an eye out for the little ones. The food is great, one of the better menus of any on the family fun centers and the full bar doesn't hurt either.

Had a good time. The bad thing was that when we went to play pool we could not get anyone to wait on us. Had to go and find somebody. They told us they would get someone to help us. We waited around for about 15 to 20 minutes before we were helped.

A GREAT place to go if you like that type of atmosphere... lots of lights, lots of people and a lot of high energy. It is almost always clean and organized, very few games are down and there seems to be someone watching that a good amount of the time. It seems a little pricey for some of it, but still a good time! The Summer deals were great!

Friendly staff but the all day play for $7 is a myth. We got there at 4pm and waited til 5pm for laser tag. Played two rounds and the next available slot wasn't until 2 hrs later. So not exactly play all day but still a good time for the kiddos

Great place to take the kids. Love the animation on the scoreboard in the Bowling section. Kids loved walking the high wire. Laser Tag was the most fun. A great time had by all. Definitely recommend this place for a good time.

My kids love this place! They have bowling, laser tag, a ropes course and lots of different video games for the kids to be entertained for hours! We’ve been here on our own as well as have been here for birthday parties. All the staff is really nice and super helpful. We’ve even ordered food from here and the food is really good. The food prices were reasonable and the have a wide selection of food to chose from. If you’re looking for something in doors for your family to do this is definitely a place to visit. Although I will tell you at night it does Turn into a “club scene” atmosphere LOL so if u has small children take a day trip not a night trip!

My daughter had a birthday party here recently and they did a good job. I was able to decorate the table reserved for us and they also inflated the balloons that I brought in. The kids had a good time and the food was good. Also, the party hostess I had was very helpful.

Staff doesn’t seem to care much, don’t know how to communicate or explain things. Waste of time for “all day pass” but then you have to sign up for time slots and wait an hour or more to do activities. Unlimited play but only got to bowl once, laser tag twice, and ropes once in a time frame of 7 hours! (Manager was the only person who tried to help people.)

Always had a blast every time I'm here. I love that it ia truly a place for every ages. I can bring the kids there cause I know they will have a fun time. Also a perfect place for a date. Tge bowling and laser tag were really fun. The food choices are awesome. Will definitely recommend.

This was my 1st time going there with my Grandkids. There was plenty games for them, love the Monday special prices. My only concern was I noticed there's no Security concern if a child goes missing (which worried me) cau I had a 6,8,10 to chase behind, and kept a close eye on them. But I noticed several kids unattended. One just need to be sure to be able to keep a close eye on your kids. But other then that, it's a very fun place to enjoy with kids.

It's okay. Monday night special for bowling and games. Food is sorely overpriced and service is scarce. The noise level is off the charts. It's not for a mature crowd unless you really don't mind your ears pounding and spending too much for too little. Ample parking is the one positive.

But I have been calling this location all week because I was charged $68 dollars on my card when my tab was only $34 dollars. I will never come to this location as well as I want to let everyone know. Like how do you double charge my tab and also not have anyone answering your calls.

I was really excited to take my 2 and 6 year old bowling here today (Friday, May 17) but to our surprise when we pulled up to Main Event around 1:30 p.m. there was about 10 school buses with hundreds of students waiting to get in. I wish they had put on their website or social media they were hosting a field trip for school students I wouldn't have wasted my time traveling 30 minutes to get there had I known!!

Asia was an awesome server! We were there 6 hours and she kept checking on us if we needed anything. We had three birthday parties at the same time, she helped to make sure everyone was fed. She kept checking on us even after we paid the bill. Very nice young lady!!!!!! All of the kids ages 7-16 had a great time, so there's something for everyone. Kids liked the pizza and laser tag. Tons of different activities to do. My friends and I played mini golf, laser tag, and bowling. We had tons of fun, but the bowling line was a long wait. We also dined and I had the salmon with broccoli and coconut shrimp. Really good food!!

Even do it was really crowded on a Sunday and we had to wait 1hr45 min to get our bowling lane and were having trouble getting in and out our lane with the table next to us. It was pretty OK !!! Kids had fun bought them the unlimited card so they were everywhere. I did see their was a bit of games down girl doing our giant cookie icecream took for ever do it even do their was only 2 people in front. And the bartender was always forgetting our order I dont know if she played dumb or just did not know how to do it .

I went bowling my birthday and unfortunately I had a bad experience after I informed a manager I was given a voucher to come back so this Sunday we went back for my daughter birthday just expecting something little but my daughter and her 5 friends bowled, laser tag, climbing and playing games all for free and received a ice cream cake for free when I say I felt like vip I mean mark was incredible nice and understanding and John was awesome knowing how to make a person feel special on their birthday . Hands down, Main event has one of the best bowling alleys in Houston. Their arcade is entirely functional and fun. Some other features of main event is their laser tag, billiard pool, and walking +10 above the ground on a rope with a safety harness.

Their unlimited games deal is pretty good except their laser tag arena is a bit small and the video games are mainly games that give out tickets and the unlimited doesn't allow to you to have tickets. The food is greasy, salty and high-calorie. A bit overpriced as well but all these places are.

I was at this venue Saturday night 10/27, with a large group of my friends. We were bowling and having drinks. We were served by this Asian bartender Brian. He was super friendly, very fast and made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. There was about 8 of us that night. My friends can be kind of demanding and Brian handled them with ease and professionalism. He was so much fun! We've been to that location before and the service was terrible but we would definitely go back If Brian is working!

Lots of variety for entertainment here! This seems like it would be a lot of fun for older kids and teenagers. Although we enjoyed ourselves quite a bit I wouldn't recommend this for children say under age 5... Although they try to cater towards children with things like bowling ramps and rails you are mostly left with video games and tickets. I did think that the arcades were quite fun, a good combination of retro and modern and for the most part machinery was kept in good repair and then we'll all were functioning properly. Food was average and pricey but it's clear the focus is on fun.

Pool was gr8, but when we got to the bowling, they cut off our game, twice, then, we had gone to the restroom, the server pointed us out saying we had left without paying r $8 tab... seriously?! After explaining to the Police & Manager, the tab was deleted, & found out, which they didn't tell us when we paid, that the Pool & Bowling wer limited to 1 1/2 hour play time

This is a fun hangout for families and groups of friends. Adults and kids alike would have an exciting time here. The bowling lanes were well maintained, and guards could be put in place for the inexperienced bowlers. We ordered some pizzas and wings which tasted good. The arcade area had several games to keep people of all ages entertained for several hours. There's a large parking lot, so no concerns in that regard. Go have fun.

Had a good experience here. Loved the gravity ropes which is located above the game area. Laser tag was ok. Wish it had little more space but was good. Bowling alley wait was almost 2hrs so wasn't able to do that. Recommend get there early to sign up for that. Same with the pool table. Games were pretty cool and overall really enjoyed my time.

The service was horrible!! It took more than 30 for a waitress. The guy who was going to help us decided not to so we had to wait longer. Our chicken wings were not done. You could still see the blood inside the chicken so I replaced it with nachos and asked for no beans and they still put beans. We won't be visiting that location again!!

It was TERRIBLE!!! I was visiting Houston,Texas with my two really young cousins (6 and 7) and the first thing they wanted to do was laser tag, my two cousins are short and a herd, I MEAN A HERD of teenage boys ran over, not just me (I'm pretty tall, BUT) they ran over my two cousins. They left bruises, scrapes, and A SCAR FROM ONE OF THE BOYS BECAUSE ONE OF THEM HAD LONG FINGER NAILS AND SCRATCHED ME!!! As for my two cousins, both of them mostley had black eye, twisted wrist, busted lip, brush burn on their legs/knee, BLEEDING and never wants to play laser tag EVER AGAIN!! As for bowling mostly we had a good time, BUT we found hair in our food and one of the kids dropped the bowling ball on their foot. Now for the arcade, the first time we went go get the cards to play, (we got the 20 dollar deal with all you can play for 30 minutes) we ran all over the place, (using all of our strength for the games) when the time was finiahed, we went to the little prize store (to be honest we probably got close to 5000 points in all) the clerk said that the points did not count since it was free, I looked at her in disgust as my two cousins cried their eyes out balling!! She gave us a free bag of candy tho, but their mother doesn't allow them to have candy, so I grabbed it and left after that day, I spent most of the day in the bathroom to the point I went to the doctor!!! Not only me, but my cousins. After that me and my cousins are still tramitzed about our expierence there I will NEVER go there again!!! NOT EVEN A MILLIOM DOLLARS TO STAY FOR 5 MINUTES!!!!

We went last weekend to this place for pool and bowling mostly. The rude server didn’t want to time people for pool so she said its first come first serve. OF COURSE NO ONE WILL LEAVE. And then there was a 2 hours wait for bowling and which leave arcade and laser tag. Am I just supposed to do that for 2 hours? We then ask for a refund and management for that night was finding any excuse to not refund us. So he processes the refund and a week later we still dont have it but it isnt on our account. Of course the bank doesn’t do anything so we call them. Aaron says he will help and have their credit company contact us and OF COURSE he doesnt so we call again this time it is a new management who shuts us down and doesn’t do anything to try and help. MANAGEMENT GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER. THIS COMPANY STOLE FROM ME AND WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. STAY AWAY!!!!

Make sure you keep asking for your food, because they will charge you and not submit the order! I was waiting literally 40 mins until I asked one of the servers and there was no food being made. Not only that but had to wait another 20 minutes for the manager to give me a refund!! Not coming back ever again.

I came for my friends birthday, and it was not a good experience. My two friends and I were sitting at the bar and it took about 10 minutes for the bartender to get to us, perfectly fine. She take our order, we show her our IDs, great. 20 minutes later we're still waiting for our drinks. Another bartender comes over and repeats the process. We get our drinks and head to our table. A fourth friend gets to the table with the same drink, only it's a different color and flavor. My friends and I take our drinks back to the bar and ask what the story was about why they looked and tasted differently and if we could get them to look like our friend's. Instead of saying that it would be taken care of, she argued with me about why I was wrong and didn't even offer to fix it.

The prices ok but can get very expressive. When taking 3 or more kids $3.59 for a small slushie? Keep your little kids close too many people everywhere easy for them to get lost. Food service is very slow on a weekend takes a while to get a server. Laser tag is awesome. Video games a little high.

Passed by so they kids could play on our road trip home. We sat in the booth area and I noticed there was no servers around. We waiting about 20min and finally asked an employee for a server and they said “I’ll go get them ” waited 20 more mins and still no one came. Asked another employee who was our server and they “I have no idea” finally almost and hr later someone comes to our table to take our order. I’m assuming it was the manger because she had a different color shirt than all the other employees, she took our order. Her breath smelled of strong alcohol and I’m pretty sure she was drunk. She took our order and didn’t write any thing down. We are a family of 4. None of the employees seemed to know what was going. Good place to play games but service for food was horrible! It was either a bad day for them or they need to hire more employees.

We visited today for the summer fun pass. $19.99 for unlimited bowling, ropes, laser tag and billiards. My kids are 10 &13 so billiards are out. They didn't want to bowl (which you need to pay extra for shoes anyhow) plus there was over an hour wait for a lane.. As soon as they got there the ropes course closed down so it was laser tag only.

The management team and the staff are outstanding but the clientele could be better. And me and my family had a great time my son especially loved the bowling. We very much enjoyed the food as well ordered a bunch of appetizers.

I was there on a busy Friday night. Service at the bar was incredibly slow. Waited 5-10 minutes and our orders were never taken. People were waving down bartenders with no luck. We left. My colleagues had a good time bowling. I have been to other Main Event locations and had much better service.

Schools held social events at this location. Pizza is awesome and the deals are reasonable for games, bowling, air obstacle course and pizza and drink. Kids enjoyed themselves.

There is so much wasted space in the layout that could be filled with more arcade games. The customer service was great and the party room was very nice and spacious.

I don't even know where to begin!!! If I could give negative stars, I would!! This past Sunday I held a reserved birthday party for my son, who turned 10. Initially I was a bit irritated that the party was supposed to start at 1:30, but because of the previous guests, we couldn't start until about 1:45. The party eventually started and my son was having a great time. I had more guests to come than I anticipated, so we had to add more food and arcade cards. I did not think that this would be a problem because I confirmed beforehand that there was the option to add additional guests if need be. The waitress seemed a bit peeved that the count had to be modified but still handled it quickly. When it came time for the party to end, we were rushed out 10 minutes early because there was another party waiting to be seated. I didn't complain because I understand that we weren't the only party scheduled, but because we had to start late, I would have thought that we would at least get the full two hours. I paid the bill (almost $800) and also left a tip on top of the gratuity. That's when it really went downhill. One of my guests ( who just so happened to be recovering from a stroke) was finishing his dinner and asked for a refill of his soda and was told that we needed to move and if he wanted a refill he needed to get out of the party area! Seriously??? Then, when I finally found the manager (Mark)to let him know, he tells me that I should have come to find him at the moment this happened and that he needs to confirm my story with the party host that served us! I'm sorry, but I was trying gather the remaining guests and move everything to an available area! And as far as conferring with the party host, Of course she's not going to be truthful because that would prove that she was extremely rude! Not to mention that our plates were dirty and NO ONE received a refill of their drinks during the entire party! This place has the absolute WORST customer service! DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE! I will go back to Dave and Buster's for all of my future party needs and advise anyone else to do the same.

Nice place to hang out with friends. They have many activities such as bowling, laser-tag, climbing ropes, arcading, etc! There are also some places to order food. My friends and I ordered pretzel bites.
