This Park belongs to the category of Amusement park.
So much fun! And very affordable. My 2 year old daughter had a blast and it was really nice that she was able to get on all the rides!
The price was a bit to much but my kids had fun. They had good rides for toddlers but i wouldn't take a kids older than 7. Its more for just small kids.
If your looking for some family fun for the little ones this is the place!!! Fun rides that all the kids can ride plus they have a pony and photo ride 12 dollar all day pass. The best part is you can just pay for the children to play affordable fun at its finest
I love how they have no height limit my 16 month old got to ride on his 1st ride
Grandchildren loved it, like their mother did, when she was their age. In June, will be relocated in Breckenridge Park.
Great place to take the younger kids! Employees are great and don't rush the little. Unlimited rides for a little more in cost but well worth it! Parking is limited so that's a downer or else I worth have given 5 stars.
Answering machine AND google shows OPEN on Easter. Too LAZY to change their phone message.
My 3 year old and my 9 had an amazing time
Still the same and classic. It brings back memories! My daughter loved it!
So much fun! And very affordable. My 2 year old daughter had a blast and it was really nice that she was able to get on all the rides!
Good prices for some fun rides. Not a huge place and not all the rides were open when we went but great for toddlers. They have a concession stand as well.
Lots of fun for little ones and parents. Very affordable and kids love it!
I absolutely love this place.i have not been since I was a kid.
It's a nice little amusement park with kiddie rides and you can celebrate birthdays there.
awesome place for kids price is reasonable
The kiddos loved the kiddie park. The staff is very friendly. Parking is a bit difficult but you look past that once you see the kids having a blast. I suggest getting the pass for unlimited rides. They sale snacks and drinks, there’s rides, and very small arcade.
I had a great experience with my 2 year old he had a blast with the unlimited band. couldn't ask for more. A couple of attractions were out of order, but it looked like they were being taken care of.
Fantastic place for kids. We had so much fun and the price was great to. All the carnie food you remember as a kid. Oh so much fun.
Great place for little kids 8 and under. Not great for kids over 8 or 9.
Concession lines are way to slow for the few people who are in line.
It's still the place to have a fun birthday party
Great place to take the kids. Get the arm band allow the young kids to wear themselves out. Staff has always been great. Been here three times and kids love it.
Remodeled and fixed up quite a bit since last time I was there a few years ago. I will definitely be returning with my toddler soon!!
Nice n clean n reasonable price
When there for birthday party and I had a good time I used to go there when I was younger when they brought back memories
Amazing atmosphere for children. The staff is always friendly.
Great place to take small children.
I was scared that my family and I would need shots after leaving this place. It's small and one of the rides made my kid cry because he felt really unsafe on the ride.
The price was a bit to much but my kids had fun. They had good rides for toddlers but i wouldn't take a kids older than 7. Its more for just small kids.
Always a good time loved bringing my daughter here but she's 6 and barely fit into most of the rides now
Took my granddaughter today, she's a tall 2 year old , and she rode everything there and had a blast. The employees are careful that every child is buckled in and safe. The rides have been in use a long time but still work just fine. I came to this park when I was a child, took my children when I had them and am now taking my grandchildren. Always fun.
This place is closed. Moving to San Antonio Zoo. This wasn't posted on Google so we went there and had to look it up. It's being renovated right now
I think it's great for what it is. I think it's got a very old-school vibe and And a VERY reasonable price. I highly recommend anyone with Childeren under 10 to go to least once. That said, the good price means LOTS of people can be there. From all walks of life... So, go early on weekdays so you can have as personal of an experience and not worry about the crowds and if you are going to have your kids pushed by some other kid who's parents can't be found.
My daughter always has a good time
It's great for 4 & under if you can avoid meltdown over the twirly lollipops and the vending machines. Some of the coin operated rides need maintenance but it's a sweet place that has entertained generations.
Our girls love this place! We've been twice now and both times have been great. The attendants are nice and everything is really close together which makes it nice. It's really a cool place and it takes you back in time. You can't beat the entertainment for the price. It's well taken care of. The park and bathrooms are really clean. The carousel turns 100 this year.
Took my son for his birthday this past weekend! It was perfect! Rides were just enough for a little guy like him. My 1 year old even rode a few rides. I love that its a small attraction and not overwhelming for children! Funnel cakes were great ! I just wish I knew that the park is laid with pebbles. Wasnt ideal for a stroller :( kind of made it a little overwhelming having to run after a 1 year old lol. But all in all iy was a great place and a grear time. I HIGHLY recommend unlimited riding wrist band !
We had so much fun, I wished that had something like this in our town.
Pint-sized entertainment for pint-sized people at a pint-sized price!!! We've been coming here since my daughter was 2 and we can continue until she's 12. At 8, she still loves it! There's a 100 yr old carousel they are refurbishing horse by horse so it always stays in service. A wonderful family business worthy of your dollar!
Best day! The staff were super helpful and amazing. The park itself is pretty retro but that’s what I liked. It was as if you went back in time. All the rides worked and they were well maintained. To my 2.5 year old was beaming with joy. Did every ride twice and loved every min of it. They also charge a very fair admission rate. Highly recommend
This was our first time here with our 2 year old and she loved it. Your best option is to get the $13 wristband for unlimited rides. It was worth it since she rode every ride back to back.
This place was very nice for families looking for a way to make their kid feel special. There are a lot of carnival type rides for smaller kids, and they have hobby horses that you can ride. The hobby horses are made out of wood and are painted beautifully. The place is not very huge inside but the nice thing is you can bring, in outside food for your special event. There are tables you can rent from there, and pay for wristbands for the kids. They have a concession stand also and you can get a variety of carnival type foods. Such as funnel cakes, nachos, ice cream and other types of food as well. They also have face painting there and a balloon popping section, a milk bottle knock down station on one side of the park. A great way to make your kid feel special as if he has the whole park to themselves. It was free to go there as adult and if your host didn't pay for wristbands up front, you can purchase separately for your child.
It would have been nice if the manager would have worked with us more. We mistakenly gave one bracelet the last few minutes of our party and did not use it. The manager did not work with us at all. He did not want to give us a refund or even offer to use a bracelet for a different time period. Other than that everything was great! The rides are good for all children in the age range. The party host was sweet.
Fun for the kids but parking was so difficult. Had my son's birthday party here and it was so hard finding parking and unloading everything for the party off.The hostess or anyone working there did not help with unloading and his birthday cake melted as we had to make several trips back and fourth to unload everything because we had to park all the way down the ally.
Why did this place close and moving to the zoo in San Antonio tx I like It but it is close I like the rides they are fun tell me why It close and moving to the zoo.
Closed, But they won't move it.
Great customer service! 100 year old Merry Go Round! A great experience!!
Nice and inexpensie place to take your toddlers! Not so much for older kids (10+ yrs).
Love the ideas of taking the next generation to the kiddie park. The prices are just right and the location is near other children's entertainment venues. The only suggestion/request is a controlled entry and exit for the kiddos. Some of the paint chipped into the kids hair on the rocket ship ride. Otherwise, for the price and the nostalgia you can not find fault with the Kiddie Park.
My ex had a party set up for my daughter for Saturday, but due to a storm it got pushed to Sunday. When we get there she was not on the list when they said my daughter's party would be set to, they did accomadate but we had to rush the party because they cut the original time in half due to being unprepared. The rides were great and the atmosphere was cheerful, hence the 3 stars.
Bring back lots of memories my granddaughter it really enjoys Kiddie Park especially when they have one price all the rights you could write.
Very fun place that's reminiscent of a bygone time. The rides were excellent for smaller children and the staff was very pleasant. We'll definitely visit again.
No parking very crowded and very few rides to actually take my niece on. The girl that was helping us with the party was awesome, I wish I could give her 5 stars. But the actual kiddie park was a big disappointment.
This was so adorable! We spent almost 3 hours there. My kids(6 4 and 2) had so much fun! Its very inexpensive and the snack bar is perfect for the littles! The ONLY 2 complaints i have are some of the staff letting children on and off rides never cracked a smile the whole time we were there. Just smile a little more, its also such a little area once the afternoon crowd comes in it gets a little cramped. But if we ever come back to san antonio, this will be on our list of returns!!!.
Kids always have a great time. They keep up maintance and appearance of rides. Staff could use training on working with children.
This is a great place for small children. Rides are old and some really looked their age. But...they were smaller and safer for young children. We paid for the unlimited rides and spent 4 or 5 hours there. The children went back and forth from ride to ride. They had a BLAST! Everyone who worked there was kid-friendly and patient. There is no smoking so we weren't constantly inhaling second hand smoke. It was a perfect day for me and four of my grandchildren. Cannot say enough good about the place.
It's exactly what you think it is. A kinda run down park with old school carnival rides next door to a no-tell motel for extra seedyness. My 2 year old loved the cars and boats. They have a pretty elaborate food kiosk, but we didn't try it. A fun little excursion for an hour or so. I dont think kids over 6 would care for it.
A good alternative for children between 2 and 8 years old.
My kids had so much fun great awesome memories here since I was a child
Went to a family BIRTHDAY party. It was fun for the kids.
Not many rides but for a 4 year old she enjoyed herself for a couple hours atleast! Good selection of food for cheap as well and the staff was so friendly
Fun place to bring the kiddos. Prices are great but you got to get there early if you want to find parking.
Rides are breaking down, not getting repaired. Priced is comparable to most other kid places or a $14 toy. Needs updating.
great old school 80s vibe good for kiddos 6yrs or younger rides not really teen proof but overall affordable excluding that food booth which charge 3 bucks for a can soda so if u go bring yo own snacks n drinks for sure but great place overall...
Best place to bring your little ones for a few hours. Simple rides so you can watch their faces glow. There was no waiting at least when we went. They had picnic tables everywhere and you can buy food too. Parking is not great.
My kids had a blast from my three year old daughter to my 9 year old son it’s fun for all four of my kids
Took my twins for their first time, I liked how it was my childhood theme park and now I'm taking my kids. Really happy this place is still up and running, will be coming here often. During the fall because summer is too hot.
We took our three and a half year old grandson and he had a blast. At first he was a little overwhelmed by all the rides but not for long! He would get off one and run to another laughing like crazy. The staff was friendly and helped the kids get on and off and buckled before they start the ride. This little place has been around since the early 1960's but back then there were more rides. The next time he comes for a visit we will go back.
Love love love this place! We took our 2 year old here this past summer and Wow!! It's so fun! I was amazed that there were so many fun rides for the little ones. I believe it's 12 years old and younger that can ride the rides- but heck, I was able to accompany my daughter on anything... That was nice! The carousel was just amazing- and old! Tip top shape! The food was cheap and good! No overpriced stuff here,'folks! All the funfare is here and the employees are super super friendly! All smiles
My kids loved it as much as I did when I was their age. I'm gonna miss the old park grounds when they relocate this summer.
My children have enjoyed this park for over thirty years. Now my grandchild enjoys it. Great staff and not expensive.
Price was right focus is on little kids ances that's all I have! I took my 7 year old when he was three, now he has 3 more siblings!
Nostalgia! It's not a major theam park, but it's very nice and clean for the small kids. Prices are also very affordable.
Great places for small children
Took my granddaughter today, she's a tall 2 year old , and she rode everything there and had a blast. The employees are careful that every child is buckled in and safe. The rides have been in use a long time but still work just fine. I came to this park when I was a child, took my children when I had them and am now taking my grandchildren. Always fun.
Loved it!!! great place for kids to enjoy...
Great place to take the kids
Your children and grandchildren that are 2 years n 10 years old would love this place . Unfortunately just not enough parking..
My Granddaughter loved it...Her first trip!!!
My best friend got to spend an hour or so with his daughter here and loved it it’s a good place for the children and is pretty safe and secure is a piece of San Antonio history and is the oldest part of its kind in the nation and it’s right across the street from good Time Charlie’s where the beer is always cold the food is always good
This place is closed. Moving to San Antonio Zoo. This wasn't posted on Google so we went there and had to look it up. It's being renovated right now
Just had my 2year olds birthday here loved everything just the my party Host was bad would of given 5 stars but the host sucked only talked to her when first got to the park and another time after I went to ask the workers up front where she was and even then she came to us to late had already rounded everyone up myself to sing happy birthday and found the place to put the piñata even hung it up ourselves also we had added on lemonade at the beginning of the party but never received ice after she had said she was going to get for us so no one drank it so waste of $10
Very kid friendly
The park was fantastic, the people there were friendly and the kids Ahmad a ton of fun.
I think it's great for what it is. I think it's got a very old-school vibe and And a VERY reasonable price. I highly recommend anyone with Childeren under 10 to go to least once. Kids love the ride
Loved this place since I was a kid...now I can take other kids here to experience the fun. It's a lot smaller than i remember it being. Guess when you're small everything looks huge!
So much fun!
My son had a blast here and his first carnival experience.
Will miss it being at it's original place.
Fun place for young children to celebrate their birthday with friends and family. Although the parking and traffic outside the park can be somewhat challenging.
I recommend it. My daughter loved it and so did me & my wife; pricing was fine. I would also recommend some nice cleaning in some areas (like boats runway), also PLEASE put the signs of weapons where everyone sees them, at exact entrance (we need to see it, not run looking for it).
Good place for young children.
My 25yr old kids have fond memories of this place. We can't believe it is still operational! Magical!
Very personally customer service. Made me feel part of the family.
This is such a great little kid's entertainment park! We're in San Antonio for the holidays and just so glad we were able to take our kid and her cousins out for an honest fun time. It's so rare that you can find such an original and not yet over commercialized park. An overall wonderful mom-and-pop kiddie park experience!
Poor staff, very expensive
Sorry they are leaving there current location that has been there for many years.
Kids love it.
Hidden gem of Alamo Heights! The staff really cares about children and takes the time to make them feel special. Excellent and very reasonably priced option for birthday parties! There are plenty of activities to keep kids of all ages busy and happy!
I shared a fun afternoon with my grandchildren there. Staff were pleasant to the children, and my grandchildren loved the rides!
Affordable and perfect for kids under 5 yrs old
Loved this place since I was a kid...now I can take other kids here to experience the fun. It's a lot smaller than i remember it being. Guess when you're small everything looks huge!
How many machines can you make that spin your kids in circles... this place probably sets the record
Ive been going here for 40 years. My wife 25 yrs. Now we take our son here. A lot of good memories. Always fun and affordable.
One of the best values around if you have small children. One of the few places that don't charge an arm and a leg anymore. My kiddo loves it here.
reallly cool place to bring kids
Celebrated a birthday here for the then 5-year-old. Great place for younger kiddos and for parties. Not such a hit for older kids 8+, because they're too big for the rides.
It was alright they should add more rides remodel them and a good thing is that tickets are affordable and it's a fun time there is just a little parking tho
Great for kids, price is great, parking a bit of an issue.
When you think of an old-style amusement park, Kiddie Park is the place! Many fun rides for the little ones, and parents can join them on bigger rides as well. Also a lot of great carnival-style snacks, plus an indoor arcade. Fun place for family fun!
Family Friendly. Love it
My parents brought me here as a kid and I was so happy to be able to bring my own child. He had so much fun!
LOVE IT...BEST PLACE EVER FOR LITTLE KIDS! BEEN GIVING CHILDREN THE BEST CHILDHOOD MEMORIES. My Dad brought me now I bring my children back. The prices for kids are great & the snack bar Rocks!
Super fun for little children! My kiddos had a great time with the rides. All but one ride (the whip??) were appropriate for children under eight. The park is clean and shaded by lovely oak trees.
Pierce's 2nd Birthday @ Kiddie Park
I want a refund on my commemorative bricks...
Great for kids under 10 !
Visited San Antonio to go to sea world with 6 kids ranging from ages 1 to 10 years old. After it not being too many rides for the little ones at Sea World we visited this place and the little ones had a ball! The prices for the rides was great we did unlimited ride pass and got a great deal off groupon for it. The rides are very appropriate for little ones.
Great place for younger kids. Went with my 2.5 year old, she loved all the rides and did not want to leave!
Older venue but so much fun! Three kids- ages 6 and 4 yr old twins. They all had a blast. The staff was so kind and helpful.
Took my kids I think this place is great but the ride were a little to small for my son
Gotta take my grandson back. He had a blast! Place is just big enough for a toddler.
Really a fun place for kids ages 2 to 4 years old.
Super awesome place for a bday party
This place was my childhood favorite. It's a perfect place to take younger children to have fun on rides, face painting, and classic carnival food without breaking your budget. It's old but still charming. The kiddos always have a blast.
Awesome place for young kiddos great prices
Old, dilapidated rides, lots of broken equipment, not in a great area. My 3 year old lost his wristband and ticket seller refused to replace. I'd understand if it was busy and they had no other way to track the sale, but there was hardly anyone else here today and it's not like she didn't recognize me. Don't waste your money at this unsafe, unfriendly little rathole.
Too many bees flying around. A couple of rides are too harsh & rough physically. But overall, it's nice for small children. Food line takes too long, although food is good.
5 yr old had a blast. Ran from ride to ride. No lines. Good deal.
Great place for wee ones. Just miss the roller coaster and little pedal cars they used to have . The food prices are ridiculous though. P. S. They're moving over a little, so they're closed THIS summer.
Cute park to bring you’re kids too. The rides are classic and very kid friendly. The food was good and they have a good selection.
My daughter was a tad bit taller than all the other kids, but regardless, she had fun and so did I. Can hardly wait to see what the new Kiddie Park location will be like.
This is a historic place. Established in 1925. This location provides entertainment for the little ones. Usually 12 and under. It is also a great place to have a small birthday party. They allow for outside food for little kids parties or you can get some of there delicious food snaks. Also located next to Brackenridge Park. Only downside is rides are outdated by today's standards.
A nice trip down memory lane. Kitchen was a little pricey for not so great food, and same old rides from back in the day. Traders Village is a better value in my opinion. $9.99 wristbands for more modern rides!
Great experience. Great staff. Good place to bring kids as young as 1 year olds. Good price for the wrist bands.
Great place for wee ones. Just miss the roller coaster and little pedal cars they used to have . The food prices are ridiculous though. P. S. They're moving over a little, so they're closed THIS summer.
Old school fun for all the cool down toddlers !
They wrote they are open and they are not on google and when i asked there they said they will be opened in October 2019. I and my daughter where planning to have good day there and they rowing it because we came from too far place and find it close and it says its open in website if i can i will even give them a star
Staff was friendly and courteous. Did a birthday party here. Not sure if I like their party option, buying 2 hr wrist bands, pizza and drinks. Party started at 10. They wanted to serve pizza at 1030. Pappa Johns messed up, so Pizza was served around 1130. Which was perfect. We were able to stay longer to have cake and presents. So our experience was perfect because of the debacle. If we would have been forced to clean up at 1200, I would have questioned why we just didn't go to a park.... as most if our two hrs would have gone to pizza, cake and presents, vs riding the rides. However, based off our experience on how things evolved, I had to give 5 stars.
Great place for kids & family. Fun atmosphere. Can't beat the authenticity and antiquity of this historical carnival. Nice party package options. Well organized. Happy, helpful staff. Clean facility.
Always a fun time here!
Been coming here since I was kid back in the 80s. Brought my kid before they move it to the zoo.
Cute old fashioned amusement park for the kiddos
I have wonderful memories of the many times mty Dad took my sister and I there as kids. He spoiled us. Today was a great place to spend some time with my Great grandson. Best place ever to take kids and or have their birthday parties. Priceless.
My girls had a blast! The rides were definitely age appropriate and it was nice and clean. The restrooms were clean as well which was a total plus!
The people were so super sweet and extremely helpful! Love coming over here when I visit San Antonio
My son was too tired to enjoy it as much as I hoped but the place is so cute for small children. The rides are low key so older children might not be impressed. There is barely any parking right next to it but they gave an additional parking lot off Broadway that has a nice shuttle and there's an attendant. And most surprisingly they have really good food. My son gobbled up his chicken nuggets and fries with gusto and the hot dog was great too. I didn't gave a chance to try it but they have funnel cakes and deep fried twinkies too!
Can't believe they are moving to the SA ZOO...NOT A GOOD IDEA...
Great place for our small ones to have fun in the sun
I had a great time...My parents use to take me there when I was 4 years old .... when I had children of my own me & my ex-wife use to take them also there and now I am taking my grandsons to enjoy this amusement park .....
My 3 year old loves kiddie park!!! I love the old school carnival vibe. Definitely takes me back when I was a child. The food is good too and fairly priced.
More like 3.5 stars. Most of the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Nicole, our party planner was attentive. The rides appeared safe and functioned well! There is some work needed on a few of the buildings. Overall a good experience, a small, but well done park, perfect for 3 to 8 year-olds.
I brings back soo many memories with my grandpa and it was honestly do fun as a kid i reccomend it and is great
Kiddie park is a clean wholesome venue for young children as always. Staff is friendly and helpful. I used to get there as a toddler, took my son's, took my grandchildren and today attended my great grandsons first birthday party.
This place is fantastic! I've lived in San Antonio my whole life and I had never come here before. The kids loved it and the place was fairly cheap. More parking than it seemed at first. The employees were very nice and helpful. The girl who did face painting was very good.
Great to take my kids to the same kiddie park i went to in the 80s
It was good for family and friends time you should go there
Cute park to bring you’re kids too. The rides are classic and very kid friendly. The food was good and they have a good selection.
Went for a birthday party and everything provided was wonderful with friendly staff to go with it. Everything extra was a bit pricey though (I suppose that is to be expected since it is a small, carnival like establishment) but I would have liked to see that extra money going into ride upkeep. This is a historic location here and it definitely could use some love.
Nostalgic and fun. My 3yo had a blast!
My daughter loves the rides and it's super cheap and lots of rides and has all day pass for 13$
Nice place to a kids party!
Classic place to have fun with your kids if you have any.
This place is trash. They must pay people pretty well to slap good reviews on here. We went and literally half the rides and arcades dont work. When we told the staff, they acknowledged that some of their attractions are hit and miss whether or not they work that day. No forewarning about it when purchasing tickets and tokens. Furthermore no intention on making right on the wasted money. These people are stealing money. Do not go here.
Nice lil park.....looks like they will be moving soon, also a special moving party along with that...
Love coming here when I visit San Antonio. I can't even imagine all the memories that have been made here. Such a happy place. Love, love, love
