This Park is included in the category of Park.
The kids and I love to visit this park. There's a little something for everyone a sandpit, splash pad, plenty of seating in shaded areas, many games to play like huge checkers, large connect 4, ping pong just to name a few plenty of surrounding places to eat. and the park itself is so awesome for the kids lots of climbing swinging spinning you name it sliding. Around the splash pad area there is a little area that you can change kiddos in or out of suit in private and there's also bathrooms with water fountains.
What a great place to walk around and soak up some San Antonio. The park is massive and contains lots of interesting sculptures and structures. It's easily accessible from the river walk and there are public restrooms in the base of the Tower of the America's. We really enjoyed being able to take an early morning stroll and see everything the park had to offer. There are plenty of great spots to take pictures so go ahead and bring your camera!
Beautiful park settings. Showing our history through the beautiful sculpture through the hemisfair park area
Nice views along the riverwalk. Food and entertainment throughout the area. Highly recommend for a date night or an evening stroll.
My friends got married there! I don't believe in marriage anymore since my man ran off so now we will see if the hemisfair is a curse or blessing on next visit
It's a beautiful place! Free concerts every Friday night and a bounce house for the kids. A great place for some family time, a couple or even just yourself and your pet.
Great for families with small children. Great place So beautiful. Love walking here. My son loved to see the chickens!
Charming little park with splash pad and tons of lawn games! The Tower is within walking distance as well!
The food is excellent! The service is equally excellent. The choices of beer and drinks are great, but a little bit on the expensive side. Almost as much as the plate you order. Knowing that, you are no longer shocked by the bill and you can enjoy the place.
If you have kids its the best of both worlds! Kids play and the adults drink! Greatest park I have ever been to! We also enjoyed the Tower of the Americas! A lot of bang for your buck!
Pretty park near an art school and the tower of America. October fest is also being held there
It's a great place for kids for now, but once they finish construction and add that new parking lot I'm sure it will be more amazing
A truly Dan Antonio landmark. It have been recently been getting very popular as buildings around it get remodeled and updated. There are plenty of playground and picknick areas at the base. It's also very picturesque so many local photographers go there to take wedding and quinceanera pictures. There are events held there throughout the year so always keep an eye open for what's going on.
I hate heights, yet I find myself in St Louis Arch, swinging or rope bridge in Gatlinburg Tn, and now in this stupid thing in San Antonio. I type this as I am dizzy, nauseous and sweating profusely. Sitting in a chair absolutely loving this! This is awesome, great, fantastic! All we need is a earthquake to get the Express elevator down. WHY DO I DO THIS? WHY AM I HERE? I'm sure you young and old fartheads who get a kick out of getting as HIGH as you can and laugh jubilantly like a child at people like me
Love the new additions around the hemisphere , including lots of games for the younger ones, as well as options for adults. Restrooms throughout, and food options in the evening. Some parking options at reasonable prices. Well lit at night, makes it for a good romantic walk. Hope San Antonio keeps building parks in the downtown area, much needed!
Tower: Great happy hour. Views are nice, try and avoid it when there's events. They close off half the bar. Park: nice, pretty clean
A must visit for selfie queens/kings. So many hidden gems in this little park. Our family loved the Wings of Mexico for our selfies. Really cute park. The water needs treatment for the smell, but other than that it is absolutely beautiful.
Growing up eating here was one of my favorite memories... had the opportunity to bring my family and the experience was just as magical. Food is top notch , service excellent but that view at sunset... that's just an experience you can't duplicate anywhere else.
Went to a free music in the tower night. Was nice, parking is not cheap.
The view is breathtaking - growing up in SA, the view reminds you how beautiful the city is from a birds eye view. We ate lunch in the restaurant so we could enjoy the view while eating. The service and food were fantastic.
I thought I'd be scared going up so high but I wasn't. It was a quick ride to the top and astonishing views of the city.
The stars are for the building, which is beautiful and takes you back to a simpler time. The inside is decorated in a beautiful almost art deco feel and everything from the carpets to the bathrooms stay consistent with the decor theme. The food is why this isn't a 5 star rating. It's simply not good enough for what you are paying for it. Even considering you're getting a 360 of San Antonio while you're eating it. My salmon was so overcooked it fell apart and was tough to chew, and when I mentioned that I was brought an almost raw fish. The restaurant comped us dessert, but the souffle wasn't good either. Maybe we just hit an off night and things are usually great, but I'm not sure I would try again.
Great place to play with the family. Cafe, chocolate shop, pizzeria, playground, splash pad, games, and plenty of directions to walk and explore.
I have been here numerous times. It is a nice relaxing place to sit back and enjoy a drink and people watch, or enjoy local events, music or learning about the areas and history. The park is quite serene and has a nice vibe about it. I feel safe here as well if I am alone. Last time I was here was Spring Break and will NOT be doing that again as it was pretty crowded.
It's a place full of culture with activities for everyone. Great place to bring the family on a day out for fun or just to take pictures. San Antonio has uncomfortable weather sometimes so it's good to look at a weather report before heading out because most of the activities are outdoors.
I did not spend much time at the bottom of the Tower of the Americas, but what little time I spent there was beautiful. It was $11 flat rate parking -- $11 for however long you wanted to park there. I quickly went up to the Chart House restaurant and was treated to amazing food and a beautiful sunset over the skyline of San Antonio. The food was somewhat expensive, but that is to be expected at a fine dining restaurant. It was presented uniquely, too, which I thought was a nice toich. The view of the city alone made it so worth it.
Beautiful, right off the Riverwalk. Lots of memories from the 1968 world's fair.
Great park to take kids. Various activities to keep them busy. They have sand are with water pumps they can get creative in. Water park, giant chess, checkers game, connect four, foozeball, ping pong, and amazing playground. Easy access to restrooms. Very clean and welcoming park with sitting areas. There is a charge for parking.
What a wonderful park. Lots of water falls, flowers, trees. Just a great place to take pictures. The day we were there; there were many people taking pictures for graduation. We were there as tourists and celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary so we took advantage of the beautiful scenery.
Tremendous place to visit if only for the views from the Tower of Americas. Loved all the history and displays. The Chart House restaurant is pricey but the food and service are super. Well worth the visit.
Beautiful, downtown spot that has become a hub for the community. My only complaint and concern is that they are building an apartment complex right in the middle of the park. When it is complete and people move in, it will definitely change the feel of the park.
This really is the center of what is great in San Antonio! There is so much to see and witness just buy walking around. You can also find plenty of different ways of transportation! Everything is close by and you can really pick what you want to do!
Fun. Free with family. Loved the splash pad and great lunch at the "Bakery"
I literally love this park! My nephew loves the splash pad and it’s the perfect place for families!
Great place to meet new people and amazing attractions.... TOURISTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD VISITING THE SAN ANTONIO'S MOST FAMOUS HEMISFAIR PARK....MUSIC...ENTERTAINMENT...ATTRACTIONS...FOODS N MUCH MORE TO TASTE THE SAN ANTONIO'S FINEST RESTAURANTS.
Great food and happy hour drinks. Otherwise its pretty pricy. Definitely beautiful views.
If you want to impress your wife, girlfriend or significant other, then take the to the tower of America resturant. They have good food, service great, a well trained staff and they're Friendly. They have improved a lot. Try the resturant and see if you like them.
This was pretty cool. My son and I went and were able to see a storm come in. I don't think it should be a "Must see", but it does have a great view and the history written around the walls is pretty interesting
Good places to take the kids, well kept park. Lots of shade and seating for parents. Have a splash pad, ping pong, bean bag toss,checkers..
Very nice, first time visiting San Antonio, and it is beautiful, and everyone is so nice and helpful. We enjoyed our visit
Beautiful park with plenty of shade. Lovely natural arches made from foliage. Water features for splash pad were great and kept kids happy and busy. Kids watched the dance performers in the square--very entertaining. Everyone loved the art installations and all kids from 3-16 had fun climbing the ropes course section of the playground. The merry-go- round was a huge hit too.
Very cool place. Didn't plan to come here but it's pretty close to everything else and the kids loved it. There's a very big are with splash pads, swings, jungle gym if that's what it's called, and a sand put area. Bathrooms walking distance and a changing area.
Lots of fun. Free. Great photo ops
Im a local so seeing all the tourists was a bit much.. But still a great spot to visit. Always clean and always lots to do
A neat way to see the city and keep in mind the ticket you buy is good for all day access. Consider seeing the tower during the day and later that night.
This is a great place to visit. The Tower of the Americas is excellent with some spectator views or San Antonio. We had an hour in the bar, which is friendly with great drinks and allowed us to sit in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy the views. There is also a rotating restaurant if you wish to have a meal
This was my first time on this adventure.I got to share with one of my best friends and his lovely family. They made the experience very memorable.
Really cool water effects outside. Easy to get to the top and check out an awesome view of the Hill Country.
I am a Native San Antonian but I was disgusted by the smell of the fountains at Hemisfair Park!!! I was embarrassed for our city. Not all the fountains were running so some of them had green algae from the stagnant water as well as the odor. Also the Tower cafe stop on the ground level was very warm inside. You would think with 100+ degree temps lately they would have had it much cooler.
Great birthday celebration with 80 & 82 year old ladies, best friends for 50 plus years. The ambiance of the tower, the very accommodating staff, the food was very nice. A three hour dinner at the tower, beginning in early evening to see the city in daylight, then progressing into the night and enjoying the lights of the city. A memorable evening in San Antonio.
Great park with historic homes that have cute businesses and restaurants in them. Several little fountains and pieces of art. Enjoy a slow walk through it with a loved one.
Hemisfair Park is a great place to go day or night. There's always great entertainment, shows, and activities.
It's nice and you can see the whole city but the service very often is poor. I've been there multiple times and the service is always kinda problematic. Twice brought cold food and wrong cooked and it took a long time plus its expensive. Although it worth the experience and cocktails were not bad at all.
Beautiful place unwind and enjoy the scenery plus great food! Service amazing! Ty
Great place for family. Better find a place to eat first unless you don't mind burning few hundreds easy. First time i took my kids here (around 8 yeemars ago) they had so much fun, they still talk bout it. Pretty cool gify shop with penny crusher machine. Great fun for family. Dont forget to take quarter for long binoculars to use. Just make sure no one is scared of heights.
The grandkids love being out there, water, sand and all the other games be back AGAIN! Free
The park is great. I didn't like the tower itself, compared the price there is no big fun to go to the top and watch the city. But the ground floor 3D movie theater, which is included in the price is good. Without that theatre, the tower alone is very boring place to go.
I enjoy this park a lot and there always seems to be something going on like a festival. You can go to the top of the tower but it'll cost $14 for adults and children $11. If they're 3 or younger then they're free. They offer discounts as well for military and seniors. Just be careful because you'll constantly see people speeding through here on motorized scooters. Even in parts where it clearly states no motorized scooters. Almost want to volunteer myself to enforce this as they're children playing and can get hit any moment.
Oh what a one of a kind experience this is, it's so, so cool. The non alcoholic drinks were really good as well as the hummus plate but the view alone makes this totally worth it!! If you get motion sick just don't get too close to the window and you will probably be okay
Impressed with the renovation. Beautiful place to hang out with friends, family or alone.
Great family fun place. Has water play area and play ground. Has games to play lile life size chess and foosball tables. Plenty of tables to sit at. You can refill your water bottles easily. Very good park.
Wonderful place to walk and get away from the crowds of the River Walk. The park below the tower is lovely. The Tower is brightly lit at night.
We went to see the Tower of the Americas. Rode an elevator up to the revolving restaurant to lookout over all of San Antonio.
It’s always fun to walk around this area. It’s usually very clean and quiet which makes it perfect to walk any time of the day. There’s also a kids park connected to it. Kids can pretty much run around freely in the area without a worry of cars driving through. There’s also some historic buildings to read about as well. Go up to the restaurant for a little bite and good drinks and take a view of the city as well.
Beautiful scenerys, Riverwalk or river boat cruise awesome place to be.
We love it here. It's a nice way to spend a few hours. We love going to the top of the Tower and the area surrounding the Tower is really nice. The prices are a little high, however we used a Groupon and it made it so much more adorable. We would love to see some new movies for the 4D movies, but my kids do enjoy it. Parking is way over priced. Overall, it is a great place to go!!!
Very gorgeous view and the walk around is worth it!! Highly recommend to get some gorgeous photos at this area
We spent time with my family kids love the elevator ride up and down looking through the scope even the pop corn and coming down was a blast for them and oh best of all those movies were the best ❤
Best place for kids to play downtown San Antonio. Remember to bring the swim suits, and towels for water park.
Love dining at Tower of the Americas!... Great food with a view to match!.. Love to watch the sun go down and the city lights come up...
We had a lot of fun visiting, more to do and see here than I expected.
Water features are awesome. Pricey to go up the tower but great view of San Antonio. Bar staff were super friendly but others not so much. Good.
GREAT place to spend an hour with the kids. So much to do that the kids are never bored. All equipment is in great shape.
Went on a Sunday. Wasn't too packed. Lots of space to roam and play for my two girls. So many things to do. We were there for over three hours and probably could have stayed longer. We always have a good time when we go out to hemisfair!
I didn't spend any time at the park but we did park in the lot and asked an employee for help. Her name was Felisha. She was awesome. She had answers for all our questions and put us on track for the day.
Fun experience, fairly priced. Not too far from the riverwalk. The water features are nice, along with the view from the Tower of the Americas. Admission includes the 4D theater experience.
Great atmosphere! So romantic and equally fun for the children. If you want to teach your children about fine dining this place is great to start with.
So I'm not super into heights, which means I didn't look out the glass wall of the elevator but once you up top it is really pretty. I was there during sunset so that was really nice as well. The fountains are also cool too see. Would suggest it if you are in the area.
It was great the day we visited. We live in SA and had never been. The staff was very nice and really cared that we were having a great time.
Wasn't planning to visit the park initially, but it was not too far away, so we decided to take a stroll. The park was surprisingly pleasant and relaxing on a spring afternoon, with all the beautifully designed water features and greenery. There were quite a few options of fun, little activities which were great for families, too. I was really impressed by all the elements they put there!
Fun trip to the top of the tower. Enjoyed looking at the surrounding area on a beautiful day.
Very peaceful and family friendly, good place to get some good pictures and to walk around with your crowd
Went with friends from out of state. Parking was hard to find and then we had to pay to park. Once we got in, it was another $15 each x 4 to go to the observation deck. TIP...take an Uber to get here. Another TIP...the observation deck is VERY windy...be careful wearing a dress! For the 4D movies (one was a cartoon....really?) Holy cow...I sat alone in a row and the seat jerked so much! That cannot be good for someone with back problems. VERY sharp and jerky movements. TIP...don't lean back in the seats. This will lesson the back jarring movement. The price we paid did not reflect the less than awe inspiring time we had here.
Lovely park. Great beautiful view. My son loves it too. My whole family loves it honestly, I have great fun parts their, and at times I enjoy the sun out there. The best park I ever been too, since I was a kid. Great park.
Nice & clean place to relax and enjoy outdoor activities at this San Antonio location.
Where there is a tower, we visit. Nice views. Gives a good idea of the true size of the area.
Great food. Was told that they didn't had to go boxes or plates. We had to leave half of our food there. The tables are small as well.
Eff this place. Parking? Might as well give up before you even start. Not existant-unless you're fine with paying a MINIMUM of $13. No thanks.
Great place for kids and families. Enough shade and sitting area. With many kids and families, you can still grab a public chair or even hide under one of many free available umbrellas. 4 change cabins available, big sand pit in the shade. Rinse station temporarily out. Public parking available.
Amazing views of the city of San Antonio, TX. It’s really tall building. Not everybody would be able to stand outside to enjoy the wonderful 360 views. I felt a little bit scared at first but then I started walking around enjoying the place and felt much better. I got comfortable then stayed there for at least 45 mints. Inside the building they have a lot of Texas History and they also show you on a map important places around the city so you’re able to look where they are located in the city! They charge like $15 to go up there. Enjoy it!
Love this place, Been here several times & always enjoy it. My daughter loves it here, Beautiful inside & out.
What a experience funny, exciting, memorable, exhilarating. Had a little bit of a wait for the elevator to reach the top but absolutely worth the wait the view at night is incredible I feel like u can see the whole downtown of San Antonio it relatively cheap for adults but they have numerous activities for children and adults I feel like nighttime is the best experience but honestly I have never been in the day time
Absolutely breathtaking. I love the Tower of the Americas. Such a romantic place I'd love to go sometime in my life with someone I love. As a little girl, I always loved looking at the city from the view top. So beautiful.
Just beautiful and amazing!! I'm very glad I took my family there to experience the all the fun
Great views of San Antonio. There wasn’t a huge line and if you’re feeling daring you can even get drinks or dinner at the bars and restaurants at the top. A tad windy but great for pictures, gives you that light breeze through your hair look. Well worth the $15.
Best park ever. Great place for kids! Water spouts and play equipment are all top notch. Parking is a big problem thought-out much nearby that's free.
A wonderful place to spend an off day with plenty to see and lots of places to go from there, take the kids or enjoy it on your own either way it'll be a great time.
I gave this place a 5 star rating because we did enjoy the area. The city is in the process of opening up a low income housing project right in this park. It was really disappointing to see this happening.
I had a wonderful time here and recommend anyone to visit.
Hemisfair is more than the parks. I was at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center & the Grand Hyatt hotel next door. Attending a volunteer meeting for San Japan; the BIG anime convention on Labor Day Weekend!
Locals and newcomers mix it up here..family friendly
This local San Antonio landmark never looses its appeal. Such a wonderful place to just walk and experience a quiet and fulfilling evening. Also a wonderful place to bring your children, the areas surrounding the tower have a bit of something for everyone. The padded play areas and interactive fountains bring joy to the faces of the youngest to the oldest. Worth a visit!
Pretty nice. Feels a bit run down / old but one of the only larger green spots in downtown.
Lovely park mostly for kids, my niece amd nephew love it.
Enjoyable tour. Especially inside the church. And the museum and displays within the grounds. Helps to know a bit about it before you go. There is a lot of factual information there if you have the time.you certainly get a feel for what it was like tone there. In 1836.
Hemisphere Park is always a lovely place to visit. Out-of- towners really enjoy their time there, as we have taken many out of town guest. I encourage the locals to go as well. We have beautiful and historic attractions. We should take advantage of visiting them
Great park with lots to do for the kiddos. I highly recommend that you check it out
Beautiful water feature, Yower of the America's was great and beautiful scenery. Peaceful. Clean. Enjoyable day in the park.
Fun experience to take my niece and nephew there. Not too much to see, pricey and could have better customer service. I did like the elevator ride up/down and the top of the tower. Also their paid parking is $15 but can stay there the whole day. Just can't leave and come back. Also loved their play ground thats a bit further and they also had access to scooters/bikes! Loved it! So much fun!
Great view of San Antonio from up there. You can see everything since it's the tallest structure in San Antonio. Great food in the restaurant too. Would definitely recommend at least going to the viewing area.
Very nice park! We visited in the right dates because there was a huge festival going on. There were rides and games for kids, antique cars and food stands. This place was very nice, one of the best public locations that we visit in San Antonio. The tower of the Americas is also a sight to see. You get an excellent view when you go to the top and eating at the charter House restaurant gives you an awesome experience of seeing all of San Antonio from a bird's-eye view perspective. Food is okay, kind of overpriced. Service is good.
Long line to buy tickets and even longer line to wait for elevator to come back down. Line went all the way around viewing area; wait time was about 40-45 mins. All this is was a given since it was a holiday weekend. I'm sure it would be better during a weekday and/or non-holiday weekend.
This is the only rotating restaurant I’ve been to so far. The views were a little obscured because of the clouds, but we still had great visibility. The water gardens at the base are a cool bonus
We found an awesome playground and splash pad. The kids loved it. It thought it was really cool how they had foosball tables, ping pong tables and corn hole.
Specifically visited to check out the views on top & also try out their happy hour food/drinks. Let’s just say both the food and the service were unimpressive. Sat at the bar & barely got 2 words out of the employee working that night. If I hadn’t struck up conversation with random guests at the bar, I’d have taken off as soon as I finished my food & drink. May consider going on another night if I’m ever in the city again but would much prefer going elsewhere. The food scene is lit & other places have significantly better service.
it was some fun for the children and I and helped us out quite a bit with some things that I can't afford to get on my own with my treatment. was a little disappointed just because we were expecting to get haircuts and now waiting to hear from vouchers for haircuts but that's all good oh no we had fun, that when we need it for some of the things
The family and I always have a great time when we go to this park. We usually play on the playground and walk to get an ice cream or eat downtown some where. Some times you get trash that comes down here and leaves wet Pampers thrown nd don't really pay attention to their own kids but aside from this it's great.
Nice outdoor fun activities for toddlers kids adults. Nice food was served. Macdonald is nearby. So worth to spend your weekend here
A bit pricey. $15 to park and $15 per person. There were 2 adults and 3 kids so $75 to go to the top of the tower. Very nice on the inside, 4D movie theater, playground and splash pad. Nice inside with amazing views from up above.
I was here for a Tuesday at 10am story time for the first time. I have to say this park is far and away the best thing for kids since apple sauce! Better than chicken nuggets! There is a water play area, a sand pit, jungle gym, swings, board games (think chess and checkers), and so much more, and to top it off, most of what I saw has handicapable access! There are swings that accommodate wheel chairs. This park was designed by a lady who specializes in cognitive development. That extra attention to normally ignored details really shines through. Today, they even had a mermaid.
I'm excited to see how they've changed it. Its a great place to bring the family or just to have a stroll
Always a good time. We had friends come visit. We took them to the Chart House for a birthday celebration at the top of the Tower of the Americas. It's such a great experience but the cool thing was that when we we first arrived there was a car show going on in the park area. It was wonderful to see some vintage and antique cars American style. After we had dinner and came down the elevator out into the park again, there was an incredible free concert going on. It was just really enjoyable, relaxing and a good time in general. I wish I remembered the name of the band but the female vocalist was a heck of a talent.
The City of San Antonio has greatly improved Hemisphere Park in the past couple of years. Fun place for the whole family. Great kiddie park with splash pad, sand box, and jungle gym. Institute of Texan Culture is a nice museum to start the day. Followed by lunch at the Tower with spectacular views. La Villita, the Alamo, and River center mall all within walking distance.
Big open space with no lines or crowds on a Thursday. Top Bar even had a great happy hour!. Can't believe it was half the price all the way in the sky. Definitely worth checking out. Hummus plate for $4, wow
We all love this park. It is a great place to walk, site see, they have an amazing park for kids to play and a water area you can get wet at,a beautiful tower you can enjoy and a movie theatre and other things to do as well.. So highly recommend this park.
Parking is tough but not too troublesome. 4 year old loved this park. The splash pad was great, the sandbox area he loved. His favorite part though is the trampoline like slide. Definitely a must
Took my daughter to her first date ever! (And early 10th birthday celebration) . This was the date ever that she'll always remember! Thank you!
Beautiful park with a history. If you are in San Antonio this should be on your agenda
Have loved it since first opened in 1968! It has changed so much throughout the years, improving, but still love it!
A lot has changed since my time as a kid going to the park here from a wooden Park which was awesome by the way to this new complete redesign of the hemisfair park itself it's okay but still miss the old way however this new redesign is quite nice so they have a place where you can play chess small little area where and have little water fountain we can play with little climbing bars for the kids I'd recommend it but still nothing beats the old days
Beautiful park with many activities for kids, swing set, climbing, splash pads which is open daily from 9am to 9pm except winter times. Nice restaurant for deserts.
Provides a magnificent view from above the city. There's also a lot of Texas history displayed throughout. And there's a restaurant up top.
In love the place, even adults get to play like kids
Ah, yes, Hemisfair park. This park is a great place to visit during summer days. There’s always something going on and there are ping-pong tables available to play on. If you have children, they will love the playground/water area that this awesome park has to offer.
Beautiful water features all around the park. Another great place to walk around.
Great view, food and drinks. Service we on point was a great experience!!!! " It is a must do"
Get a reservation at the restaurant. By a couple cokes. Better and cheaper than obsevation deck. Holdays and sundays they run out of food. While we were there on labor day and the ran out of shrimp cocktail and steak
Kids love it here. It's free. There is a splash pad, changing rooms and bathrooms (not portapotties). They have human size checkers and a full playground that's covered for hot Texas summers. They even have a local snack place next door. Also ping-pong is available too.
Love it for the area for all awesome kids play area, and for the adults river walk is conveniently connected so you can enjoy the river walk right after the park
Nice place for a stroll. The observation deck on the tower offers a nice view of the city and sunset.
Water features were amazing, we took tons of pictures. Enjoyed the park, the 4D theater, the ride up to the conservation deck and the restaurant. The only thing I didn't like was that the sandwiches in the deli had bread hard as a rock.
This was our first stop on our San Antonio trip and I’m glad we came! We picked up coupons from our hotel room and got $2 off of each ticket...if you do the same, be sure to grab a coupon for each person that will need a tickets. They don’t use the same one for multiple people. The parking was $15 but was worth it because we were able to stay parked there and then walk to the Riverwalk. Make sure you come with enough tome to watch their 4D movies. They had three different ones that rotated every 15-20 minutes. We o lay had enough time to watch one, but it was a fun experience. The view from the tower was nice. Bring your camera or make sure your phone is charged! Lots of photo ops!
It was a quick visit, but was really impressed with how clean it was... And how the walking paths were laid out
This place was awesome for all ages. Nice clean bathrooms. Water bottle refill station, playground, splash pad, games and sand area. Only downside is you have to pay for parking but if you can find meter parking on Cesar Chavez it is definitely worth the trip.
Excellent urban park and green space. Lots for the kids to do at the park and splash pad complete with changing rooms. It's all really clean, plenty of areas in the shade to shelter and various cafes nearby. If your in the city its well worth a visit.
Once you buy the pass, you can go to the observation deck as many times during the day as you want. It's valid only for the day you purchase it. So make the best use if it to see the City during the day and at night
Beautiful. Stunning. A must see for those who like to get a view from the top. There are audios for every part on the tower for those who are looking to know their history better.
Its peaceful quiet wide open space shady good exercise lots to see If u need to think this is a good spot
Love this park. Great for all ages. Great for kids, great to grab a table and eat lunch, date, a run or relaxing stroll. Even open late hours and the atmosphere is nice.
Fun park and always full of families enjoying the water fountains and outdoor playground equipment. Lovely plants and scenery.
For $11 you can park till midnight and enjoy all the area has to offer. Wether it’s the giant climbing playground or the splash pad water park, the great thing is it’s all FREE! Depending on the time of year, it gets blazing hot in San Antonio during the summer, you may want to plan your trip accordingly. During the summer they have a free concert every Friday and sometimes the parking price may increase but not bad for enjoying free activities.
Loved the park. Awesome water fountain and walkways. Beautiful statues. It felt so serene over there. Kids enjoyed it too. Watching so many newlyweds makes you feel so hopeful for life. Even in summer it was not very hot to walk around due to so much water around you.
This park is absolutely gorgeous! With a little splash pad, cornhole, foosball, and lots of little extras it is the perfect place to take the kids. Situated right next to the Henry B convention center, if you need a break from what ever you are doing at the convention center, stretch your legs next door at the park. Need to see what you are going to do in San Antonio next? Go up the Tower of Americas to get the best view in SA. I have been to lots of parks and some are scarier than others, Not a single heroin addict on the nod in sight here! I felt comfortable letting the kids run around without fearing they would be kidnapped!! Beautiful fountains round out the experience but remember this is a no ride zone for the scooters. If you try to park a Lime here it may not let you as it is a no ride/no park zone. I had no problem parking the Razor scooters here though!
Great Kids park relax play games. Have everything for family fun day. Water Pad for you to enjoy and cool off in hot summer days. Lots to do
Cool 360 view of San Antonio. Reasonably priced. Ticket includes 4d movie.
Clean area with a lot to do for all ages. Very pretty and well kept. The splash pad and playground areas are so neat! And there are a lot of good restaurant and shop options that we saw in the short time we were there. We'll be back to explore more!
It was a good experience. San Antonio doesn't have many impressive things to view from up there, but revolves all the way around to give you a 360 degree view of the city. It was not the best food we are while in San Antonio, but it was good. It is a cool and romantic thing to do. It was worth it. Also, if you eat in the restaurant, you don't have to buy tickets to the viewing deck separately. Although, the view from your table is just as good anyway.
Very nice place to spend with the family. Plenty of places to see and within walking distance. teamo San Antonio
