Here you will be able to see the information of real people who are buying the products and services of Grand Texas (Park) in Texas.
At the moment the firm gets a score of 4.2 out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 287 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is really good, and it is founded on a large number of opinions, so we may think that the valuation is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to give their feddback when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Park belongs to the category of Water park.
Please name it Astroworld! It sounds more prestigious!
Not all rides are open yet.
It's fun
Fun place, could use more signs for directions.
No long lines , and different things to do that you dont normally see or do at other waterparks
For now, the lines are minimal and the available slides are fun. I am looking forward to the upcoming attractions
This place don't exist! People leaving reviews are on meth!
It's not an amusement park, theme park.or adventure park it's a Water park. Not one rollercoaster or ride worth driving forever and paying $$$$ for when so many places like six flags splashtown, palm springs, slitterbaun and pirates bay etc that are located in town or closer and less $$. But maybe check it out before it's closed down.
I do not like it because they do not let in drinks or even water
I really want this amusement park to be a success in the Houston area! The progress is slow, but hopefully the rides will start dropping in!
We had a blast!!!
I was there today and this park is nice .
Lots of stuff to do and there zip lines are great
Progressing
Slides were open I paid for a season pass and I'm from out of state and I'm only going to be here two weeks I get here and no slides are open very disappointed about that It was ok. It would be better if the water
11 to 7 nice friendly place and the food is awsome
The Wild Isle is awesome
I have not been there yet even though I got directions I just haven't been there yet I can't wait till they get the roller coasters put up to that something wonderful part I hope this park is better and last a lot longer then AstroWorld ID although I like to ask for real but I didn't want to go to Houston
I really hope this parks takes off. I heard it'll open with 5 roller coasters and that's a great start. Being from the Ohio Valley I've always had Kings Island and Cedar Point within a few hours away and Moving to Houston I have been disappointed with the lack of Amusement parks so hopefully this part will become the Cedar Point of Texas! But really I'm hopeful that it'll raise 10 coasters by time my children will be tall enough to ride.
Great waterpark! Me and the wife took our 5 year old on a Tuesday. The park was not crowded, and rides were easily accessible without a wait. This park is new and this will not last long, so get there before the crowds start. Fun time for all!
Too expensive
It's a beautiful water park with things to do for all ages. The obstacle course was extremely tiring but really fun. Park was kept clean. You might want to have water shoes due to the concrete getting pretty hot throughout the day. Most of the slide lines move quick. They have a good bbq and cold drinks. There is also a small shack that has snack type food like street tacos and nachos. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lifeguards were very attentive.
Loved it! Super fun place, I won a cabana!
Me and the family went here for the 4th of July, they had a special entry price of $10 each. Of course we had fun, its a water park on a hot day, but it is still in the growing stages and they could use some help in certain areas. The park is still not fully complete so for the price of $10 each it was worth it, however I can say, for starters they deffinatly need some more staffing everywhere in the park, they could also use more registers for checking out throughout the park i.e. ticket booths, souvenir shop, concessions, etc. everywhere you went to checkout the lines were way to long. There are two areas with adult sized slides and not sure why but one of the two was completely shut down that day. The gator gulch area is so small its almost not worth walking all the way to the back corner of the park to see. The one thing that I dislike the most about the park is that on top of your ticket price you have to pay extra to do certian things like the zipline, or the rope course, or the climbing wall, or the rappelling wall, or rock mining, or pony rides. There is no way that I would pay for a full priced ticket for a water/theme park and then go in and pay six more times to do half of the attractions that are inside the park that I bought a ticket to get into in the first place, not only would I not want to I couldn't afford to I have a family of five and I belive regular ticket price for entry to the park is around $25 each and then most of these other "pay per" attractions range between $25-$10 each (×6atrtcs×5ppl)=WAY TO MUCH MONEY then try and add drinks or lunch on top of that. This place is right down the road from me and I would hate to see this place fail I know they have big plans for the future in developing that hole area hopefully they can fix these issues and continue to grow.
Awesome
Had a blast with 15 of closest fsmily
I can't wait! Houston needs it!! Thanks New Caney!
None of the slides are open yet, so there isn't much to do
It has for every family member
Nice clean park. Lines not long. But food options are not good. Need to allow small coolers for snacks.
No slides open wave pool did not work. More of a park for little little kids. All that was open was lazy river and at noon they opened the lake with the ability course. It is a very long walk to and from parking lot. If you plan on doing zip line or climbing tower be prepared to spend a lot of money on top of entrance fee. In my opinion not worth the money. The people were very nice and the park was very clean. Still under construction so expect dust. When they finally open everything up it should be worth the money. Maybe a month or two. Call first. Food was pricey. You can not bring food or drink in. Gift shop was kinda pricey. Lockers were average price that you pay at any water park. Best thing about the day spending time with my kid.
Fun, friendly place to bring the children. Facilities were clean and well stocked.
We had so much fun. Parking was easy. Park was not crowded great price for all the slides.
Very clean. Rides for all ages (lazy river was my speed lol) Helpful staff. Can’t wait to go back! Season passes all the way next summer!!
Not enough staff, long lines then would not have anything when finally got to the register. They weren't prepared for such a large crowd.
When is it going to be built? This was in the news a few ywars ago, but why many people around houston are still not familiar with grand tx theme park yet?
Very nice set-up close to home..
Copy
I have 5 girls who love going even with everything not being opened yet. It is definitely worth season passes already.
Will be good when it opens
Good
This was super fun, but just wait till the slides are open.
The park is in full swing this is not a grocery store it takes time with state and federal inspections safety first.OSHA runs the show and we are making progress daily
Need more shade
Five years and only the race track and RV are complete? Something is wrong with this picture. It's time for clarity. The RV park and race park have been open for some time, now. We are now in the middle of July. Our weather is about like June and July weather always is. Truth, please. And, Rudy, please don't post untrue statements. You could cause someone from another location to make a long trip for nothing--not a nice thing to do.
First of all the park has the potential and funding to be one of the best water parks in all of Texas. The size, scale and creativity they have put into what they DO have open for use is top tier. With that being said the sheer incompetence on the leaderships part in regards to planning and preparation for their 4th of July event was unbelievable. First mistake made was marking admission 75% off and putting no cap or a meaningful one at least on occupancy. Second with one food kiosk and one restaurant as the only sources of legitimate food the lines and wait times were 2 hours minimum. The line to get food was literally a longer wait then it was to ride any of the 5 available attractions. Third the one and only restaurant has a concrete floor with an epoxy sealant.... in a water park... with no sand, matts or otherwise slip resistant material. Needless to say I saw 10 plus people slip and fall including one person who split the back of their head open. Fourth has to be the utter lack of seating or regulation of available seating for people ordering from the restaurant. The seating at the restaurant should be reserved for those eating there and with a crowd of that size even they should be made to leave quickly once finished. You can imagine my emotions after standing in line for two hours to get food that was almost decent only to realize I would have to sit outside on the concrete in an uncovered area because entire families of people were sitting on every available structure under the smallest amount of shade. Finally and this is probably the most frustrating and unacceptable issue were the conditions the staff at this park were forced to work in, on what I can only assume was their first ever busy day at this park. The same restaurant with a two hour line and rising body count of victims claimed by slick floors, also had one cashier who’s card reader was on the same WiFi network the guests were using for free. This means that if you didn’t have cash expect to wait another 20 minutes for the card reader to desperately try and establish a connection long enough to process the transaction. I don’t know what I expected from an amusement park that cost 10.00 to attend but I do expect more for the workforce there, whatever remains of it anyway. I never have written a review like this and I don’t like the bashing of an establishment or business unjustly, but with the amount of money that is being thrown at getting this super park together my expectations are high. The owners and leadership in place should seriously slow down and make sure their bases are covered before moving forward because a park like that will not last long competing with the likes of Splashtown and the new Typhoon Texas park in Katy.
Great place
Great place
It is fun
Great price and fun stuff for a quick get away with the kiddos.
Today was our first time. We had a blast! The only reason I am not awarding a full 5 stars is because the treck from parking lot to park entrance is a bit rough and there were 2 slides (a couple of the biggest/most extreme ones) that weren't open. The park was clean and staff were helpful. Plenty of lifeguards stationed all over which is always a plus. My kids enjoyed each and every aspect. We will be back.
Theme Parks
Cant wait for the rest to open up
Love it, a lot of neat thing's to do, & more to come . Great employees make you feel welcome, able to answer all my questions.
Our family loves it!
Really needs improvement before I can that I totally loved it. When we went they only had the lazy river & wave pool open (besides the lake activity area) & the waves weren't even working. Hopefully the park will come together soon. It really would be neat to have something like it so close to where I live.
Not crowded on Sunday morning! Fun water slides for all ages.
It's kind of boreing because none of the slides are open
(Translated by Google) I liked this very clean and parking is free and if you buy the tikes on the Internet are cheaper and the prices are good very nice to go with family (Original) Me gustó esta muy limpio y el parqueo es gratis y si compra los tikes en Internet son más económicos y los precios son buenos muy bonito para ir en familia
My kids and I love this Theme Park
Part of the 600 acre theme park. The adventure Park and water park are both open.
All the rides were operating today, lots to ride and honestly the cleanest water park I’ve ever been to (probably because it’s only been open for a year). Lots to do for all ages. DO NOT come here hungry and expecting to get food ordered fast. They won’t let personal food or drinks into the park. There are 3 different places to eat at in the park. Every person who ordered a burger / fries / or a hotdog from the food truck waited over an hour for their food. The service was so incredibly slow that a group of people wearing Texas Roadhouse shirts jumped in the food truck to help them with orders. Everyone started clapped because there was at least 50+ people waiting for food. We waited so long we ended up getting our money back. We were going to eat at Armadillo Grill but the lady behind the counter said they were out of chips. So we left the park and drove 3 minutes down the road to Denny’s for lunch instead. This is a good waterpark but they have a lot of improvement to do with the way they do their food service if they want people to come back and stay the day to eat. I’ve honestly never seen food service that unorganized before.
My family and I had a wonderful time
Came on opening day and we all had a great time!
We went Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed the Wild Isle and the animals. It is different enough from others for us to hold 2 water park passes this year. Anxious to see everything open and see how it flows.
Love it
Do better people. Who is running this place?
Pretty neat place. Would rate higher if the entire park was complete.
It will open with a Carousel.
When is this place supposed to finished & open?
Clean and close to our house.
I'm only giving it a two star review because the park is not even complete yet it opened. The water slides are still being worked on, and the wave pool is broken.
another astroworld sweet houston will finally get another theme park
Seems 3/4 finished and is a sprawling menagerie of things to see and do. The day we went was hotter than normal and there was precious little cover.
10 year Boondoggle that has yet to get off the ground. All they have to show for the effort is a RV park and one helluva crappy water pipe thingy they are trying to pass off as a waterpark. The Race course that is open is not part of the Grand Texas smoke screen. I don't know why they keep taking credit for it. I smell money rats being involved just like were involved in the corrupted Dino park that many county officials were caught up into. Local folks are not looking forward to this thing opening, if it ever does. A real authentic project like this should have been built and opened in just a couple of years. Not 10. Don't give me a lack of financing BS.
Think POSITIVE!
Not understanding the reviews for a place that isn't here...you 5/4 star people are ate up!! This place does not exist
Its going to be a nice park to take the family ones evrything opens I took my family and there where 5 atractions open and they were really fun can wait.
This place does not exist and is not open yet. It has never opened. People posting reviews saying how great it is?? They have never seen it, because there is nothing to see. There are no roller coasters, there is no water park, because NONE OF IT HAS OPENED.
Love it
I'm kinda disappointed considering the water slides are not open or ready to for my kid's to have fun. They keep telling me we should have just gotten season passes to Splash Town. Basically the only part that's open is the Lazy River an the wave pool.
Great for younger children as the wave pool is a lot more shallower than some if its competitors. Wear comfortable shoes as the walk from the free parking lot to the front entrance is a long walk.
Cool place, would've been 5 stars if all rides were open.
Yes - Its a lot like its competitor, Astroworld in that there is nothing but an empty lot.
cant wait im 12 years old and my birthday is aprill 9 2006 i was so excited that it was gonna open befor my birthday came but nope been delayed and that was a big dissapoinment but i cant wait till 2020 when it opens
The park is great, although not all is open yet. There is alot of potential for this park, but may experience some congestion when they get busy. Staff is super friendly and there is plenty of room for growth. We look forward to using our season passes b4 the crowds hit, it's like having the park all to ourselves.
Solid slides Dude!
Went to this area and all I saw was nothing but a big empty lot. Love how its the new astroworld.
The lazy river is fast moving and its not crowded with a bunch of people. It's a good place to hang out with family and friends.
We love it, my babies are feeling wonderful.
Nana got our family of 7 season passes and it has been such a blessing! Not too crowded and still new. Food and drinks are way over priced of course but other than that it is wonderful! Pack a cooler and walk out to the parking lot halfway through your visit to eat and get something to drink other than water(free of course) and you will be all set!
We love it here and go as much as we can. We have season passes. I hate the long walk from the parking lot though. I wish season pass holders could get VIP parking cheaper. The lazy river is awesome and we always float it as often as we can. The staff are always super nice, but most of the lifeguards are unaware about events or activities going on within the park.
Awesome time
Had an interview here and I loved the entire experience! Everyone of the staff was extremely helpful and very polite! Not to mention I passed the assessment and will now be attending lifeguard classes here! I am beyond excited!
It was a bit unorganized - I bought season passes in hopes it will get better. Be ready to walk - it's a hike from the parking lot.
(Translated by Google) There are still several areas to be inaugurated. Very good parquet for this calorrrrrr (Original) Aún faltan varias areas por inaugurar. Muy buen parqué para esta calorrrrrr
Awesome place to cool down in the sun
Pretty cool place. Can't wait for the rest of the slides to be open.
Great place
Great place super fun never crowed so no lines
Great place too have fun
Love it
Love it! Not too crowded and it's close!
Cant wait to go
They're doing a fantastic job!! Although the slides aren't open yet.... the park has come a long way since last year! It will continue to get better every day!
I hope this opens soon! Maybe too much of Texas theme, but it looks fun!
I got the new rides Obliterator Ride we can put on it from Theme Park
Nice place for family time. Lil pricey but very good service.
Taking too long! Been hearing about this for years and still nothing.
We can't use all the attractions.
Big Rivers is coming along pretty good!!!! COME OOOOOONNNNN GRAND TEXAS!!!!!!!!
Fun and easy access. I really liked how it was quick to get inside and there are life guards and employees every where. Great time!
We paid full price for tickets and no slides no kids play area was open just the pool and the lazy river, the lake inflatables petting zoo was open I was disappointed
It'll be better once all attractions are open and signs are posted that clearly state rules and regulations but on a positive note we enjoyed the available attractions and we're offered good deals since only half the park is open
Super fun place to go! I cant wait for them to finish itz the park is so varied theres so much to do. And the staff is so friendly and kind. Its the perfect place!
I really had a good time in this place
Cant wait
Staff was amazing. 2nd time we have been there and they still do not have everything open.
Close to home
Only 3 things were open, but my 6 yo loved it.. we will be back
Awesome
Lot of things to do and reasonably priced
This place looks like a circus
Nice
Awesome place for the family
Place was super packed (4th of July) but still pretty fun, didn't have all the slides open yet but we knew that going in. They need to add more lockers and be better prepared for large events, the line at any concessions were easily 45 minutes to an hour for the majority of the day and the lockers were fully booked within the first hour or two.
I Have a theory! You know that "theme park" that's being built in New Caney, TX called Grand Texas? My theory is that Disney actually purchased that property and are building Grand Texas until completion. Once completed they will unveil it to the public not as Grand Texas, but DisneyGrand Texas and we will all be surprised with our new Disney Theme park! Based on all the articles, nobody has been CLEAR on exactly who owns the land that grand texas is being built on, and Disney has one of the BEST marketing tactics ever.
Lots to do and margaritas!
The park is nice, as it's new. The young staff needs to learn customer service a little better and management needs to focus on enhancing the customers' experience to drive repeat business. This park has great potential.
We had a Blast. Will Definitely be going back. They have a few kinks to work out but I can honestly say we had a lot of fun. The staff working at the park are awesome. So who's in for going Saturday July 6th. Li gets go have fun.
This will be an eyesore on a community that will only employ individuals who cannot afford to enjoy the very services offered
Gave it a 3 because facility was not completely finished. There was stagnant water going toward petting zoo area. Everything was a long walk. It was not advertised that most dry activities did not start until noon in the heat of day. The concessions were not all open and they were very spread out. It took a long time to get food. It was over priced if not season ticket holder. Great stuff for kids though. Construction trash and equipment was laid around everywhere. A plus was the lines for the couple big slides that were available were short. Racoon run for kids was awesone. Staff was really good with kids.
Water park at least a year away. No sign of an amusement park. 2024?
Fun place for ther family
I call bs. It shouldn't take this long. Not going to happen. But anyway no thanks to the hoodrats destroying Astroworld.
Great family and freindly place. Foods good and not over priced. Water slides are perfect for kids and adults.
We had a really fun time with the kids. It's not completely finished yet, but still enough things to do with the kids. It has a petting zoo, pony rides, zip lines and an alligator exhibit. The kids will love it!! If you go after 3pm it's half price. Come and enjoy Houston's newest water attractions, you'll have fun
Love it!. Worth and if the season pass is 69.99 you should get it instead of daily ticket!.
(Translated by Google) Very beautiful (Original) Muy hermoso
Not build yet huge disappointment dont know if I'll ever be back in the area. Good luck guys.
Great family fun
My family and I really enjoyed our visit, my nine year old grandson and husband had so much fun on all the slides, I have asthma and heart trouble so I enjoyed the lazy river and kids splash pad, wish there were some things people could do with these health issues, and more shaded seating but in all it was a great day and we left very satisfied and happy, my grandson and his friend talked about it all the way home Thank you for an amazing day of fun
Got a private tour of this 634 acre complex last week from the boss. This place is amazing. Plan a weekend there as there is way too much to do and see in one day. There is truly something to do for all ages. This place makes the old Astroworld look lame. Can't wait to take the family there beginning in May. Way cool!
Best place to have fun for entire family
(Translated by Google) Very good place to enjoy with the family (Original) Muy bueno el lugar para disfrutar con la familia
Confusing website. Its not open. Only the water park part is. 40 bucks to get in the water park and then additional money to do other things like zip line bungy jump.?? You could e d up spending $500 i. A day if u have a few kids. I just wanted to see the amusement park. apparently not open yet. I am surprised Houston does not have an amusement park with roller coasters and rides...
Great potential. Finish soon and I'll update.
Not bad for a new park but needs more attention how they check new people in for season passes. You wait in a long line to get your season pass to go wait in another line to enter park. They should check you in as you receive your season pass.
I love this place.Only flaw is the floors slippery in bathroom and place to get bbq.
Great places if it ever get completed. Very nice workers but come on why open with not even being half complete. Orange clay mud everywhere. Cut the grass at least to make it look nice. Workers couldnt answer a simple question.
Very shallow lazy river probably won't be coming back unless I have My niece with me more of an attraction just for kids Or families with kids.
What a fun day we had at this place I will be going back
We had a blast. Lots of things for the littles to do.
It is far from parking and things aren't close but I enjoyed my visit.
The obstacle course was great. I've heard the rides sre fun...lazy river and wave pool were wonderful.
Lots of fun!!! Family had a great time. A little understaffed. Cabana service (Jordan) was great! Food took a little while to get out due to location, maybe another kitchen could be added on other end of park. Over all a great experience!
Bring back the Texas Cyclone
