REVIEWS OF Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark IN Texas

Thelma Fletcher

I absolutely love this place. My family came from out of town this weekend for Father's Day and this was one of our events. We had a blast and we will be going back.

Darla Burpo

First time at Epic waters & our kids loved it! We have 3 under 10 years old so it was perfect for them & being indoors was great so no one has a sunburn!! The reviews I looked at before going said it's crowded.. what water park isn't??? The lines for the slides weren't bad at all. They are already asking when we can go back. Oh, the pizza smelled amazing but we didn't have any.

Crystal Rios

I work there the place is family friendly employees are welcoming and friendly we make sure that everyone enjoys their stay at epic and have fun

Jennifer Morris

Great experience...staff are very nice, lifeguards are attentive. Great value! Clean, lots to do. Would definitely come back!

David Cayton

This was a great place to take the kids. It's an indoor water park, and with the 100 degree temps in Texas. It was very welcome. We all loved it and can't wait to go back again.

Tien Nguyen

It is okay. So it is basically an 80,000 square feet greenhouse building made entirely of glass with the blue reflective film on the glass. They keep the retractable roof open and some of the large windows open all day long but they have 7 or 8 large fans to circulate the air and the is A/C in the restrooms, arcade, and check-in area but the waterpark is about 80°F on a very hot Texas summer day so it is not a fully indoor waterpark that has A/C everywhere like Great Wolf Lodge. They don't provide towels so bring your own.

Heather McCaslin

I absolutely love this place. Great place for the family! Food and drinks priced decently! Awesome staff and service! Definitely coming back!!

Maria Alvarez

Hi guys! I have lived in Grand Prairie my whole life! And I went on a family outing to Epic waters! My 16 year old brother cut himself at Epic on the racer slides!! We didn’t think much of it. However, couple days later the wound had spread and it started to get infected. We took him to the doctor, and sadly enough he had contracted a bacteria in the water that was infecting any open wound! Please please be careful when you go to these facilities!

Jackie Alonso

Awesome place to have a birthday party! My kids loved the slides and water playground. I enjoyed the strawberry lime margarita very tasty! I will be returning the environment is nice and the area is not too big that I had to worry about losing my kids they enjoyed their freedom at times.

Mz Scrivens

My kids enjoyed it. They need to figure something out about the floor someone is going to get hurt if they already haven't. There should be a weight minimum to the wave pool because if you are too light you may get hurt.

Trina Bishop

My baby had a good time for her bday. We loved the party room, and the girl that helped us with Melania's party. The lazy river was my favorite part of the park....

Jesse Seery

The slides are intense. They had one where you got stuck in spheres and another that sends you up a wall. There was more but my wife and I were too excited with those two.

Angela Donham

1st time visitors at Epic. We had a great time. Excellent play area for toddlers and small children. The big kids had a blast on the other stuff. We spent 7 hours there. I can see how it could get over crowded very quickly but on a Monday, it was great. Few things that I think could be addressed, the restrooms were pretty nasty, smelled terrible and this was when it opened as well as when we left. Restroom floors were soaked. Caught a little sewer smell off and on near the kiddie area. The floors around the facility were slippery. Food was descent and not ridiculously priced.

Tammy Everitt

Our first family trip here on vacation and we had a ball. A friend told us about this place due to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor being closed. The kids loved the waterslides and us 2 adults enjoyed the lazy river. Food was great as well as the arcade. Price for the place was also great. We plan on visiting this place again when we return to Texas! The staff was alsp great. There were lifeguards all over as well. I highly recommend this indoors water park to everyone!

First time going, we got there at 1030. Right as they opened. Wasn't to busy at all. However as the day went on, it about double with people. Also if you have bought tickets online there needs to be a separate line to get a wrist band. You shouldn't have to wait in the ticket line. We already had tickets. We got a cabana as well, That's the only way to go. I would not go without getting that. It's like your own private area. It's nice. Overall a pleasant place. Just needs a few tweaks to be better.

Love the park! Just got my family seasons passes. Only issue is the locker situation. Most water parks allow season pass holders free lockers. Most family's will have to pay out 14 bucks (for the large locker) every visit just to have their personal items locked away or leave them in their hot cars. The other option is paying for water proof cases for every thing and lug your phone and every thing else around while you have to watch your children. I think it is important for people with families to be aware they will have to navigate around this issue. I already paid 80 bucks per person for the season passes. Now I either cough up 14 bucks a visit or pay another 50 bucks or more for water proof cases and back packs.

Binh Hang

I took my 3 children there last Friday and was disappointed. We live in north fort worth and I work in Grapevine so there's a lot of options when it comes to water park for the family. First, there was no towel service. Guests has to bring your own towel but it wasn't mentioned in the website at all. Pretty pricey non grand prairie resident price and no towel service, not worth coming back. Second, most of the young employees don't know much about the property. I've asked if there was a family changing room and 2 of them said no. Finally I found 1 of the supervisor and she showed me where's the family changing room was but no family shower room. One of the young girl that was selling tickets upfront don't even know if there's a shower area in the restroom or not. Please, have these employees retrain. Those are the basic questions that all of your employees should have known.

Sonya Nunez

What a fun way to spend the day! Very clean. Very affordable. No sun burns!

Corina Vaquera

This place is great. The wave pool is not big but still fun, it's the only part of the watermark that is outside. Lockers are easy to use. It can get pretty steamy in there. Restrooms were clean, floor is wet as expected. A few places to sit but many people take up a table and put things there even if they are not using it but was able to eventually find a spot. The food is okay: pizza, chips, there is dipping dots (pricing about the same as any theme park).

Jeremy Mejia

Epic waste of money. This place was way too busy. Slides with tubes took on average an hour to ride. The layout is very confusing at first. Plan on spending all day here if it is busy and you plan on attempting to ride every slide. Two slides broke down while I was here which made every other slide more busy. Would I come back here again? Simply.. no. Don't forget your water shoes. The floors are very slippery when wet due to the layer of slime.

I visited EPIC on 17 August. I must say my experience wasn't as great as everyone else. It was really hot that day and the facility was at max capacity. The girl at the front door said max was 1800 people but when the outside is closed due to weather it is only 1500. This could be wrong but that is just what I heard. Unfortunately almost everyone that was there was inside and barely anyone outside. The main problem here was there was a lack of shade outside plenty of chairs sat unused because there was no escape from the sun. On that note, inside there seemed to be plenty of shade inside. Which was strange to me because it was already shaded mostly due to it being indoors. The umbrellas and individual tents should have been outside to provide more room inside because they took up a lot of space. Also, The lazy river lacked enough tubes to go around they were few an far between. I understand you can't have too many tubes in the river however, there were only about 15 or so tubes in there. This also brings another situation with the E-Racers that attraction lacked enough mats as well. Because the people that would go down the slide would just keep the mats and keep going back up constantly and no one else would get a chance. Why those mats are not regulated like they do for the yellow jacket is beyond me. Or they could just get more mats! There is more as well, as the place was not really clean and the over crowded inside caused a big lack of seating. Had they had more shade outside more people would have migrated out there instead of cramming inside. The floors were extremely slippery as well, I saw a few people that were walking fall down. My overall exerience was not good and even though my son didn't really care about all that he had fun. I just think the faility needs to do better to mitigate crowd control. I.E. More shade for the outdoor area to possibly get more people to migrate outside. As well as removing the umbrellas and tents from the inside and move those outside.

Don Moebakken

Great place for the whole family. We came down from Minnesota and took the Texas family to Epic Waters. We were not disappointed. A lot of fun and the staff were all very friendly!!!! Only suggestion would be more interactive things that toddlers and parents can do together. Overall, a great place to visit. Pretty good chance we'll go again next time we come to Texas.

Courtney Martinez

I was extremely excited to see there was an indoor waterpark close to me. Until I realize they charge 10+ extra dollars for people who don’t live in Grand Prairie.

Phoenix Rises

Most places like these only care about the money, but I can tell you first hand they care about the people . No place or person is perfect, but they make sure you are taken care of. The lifeguards are amazing, constantly moving and doing a better job at keeping an eye on the children better than the parents. Every staff member from entrance to exit and everyone In between were very pleasant and it was genuine. The place is clean, food portions were great and the prices were great as well. We came all the way from Ft hood to experience this place for the first time and it was worth it. We will definitely be back.

Cherise Nicholson

Very slippery. Beware. Make sure wear water socks or shoes. Slipped and fell in 1st hour we where there. I stayed so kids have fun. First fun thing we did this summer and probably last because I am now hurt from my fall.

Tecola Huguley

This place was Soo fun... Great prices.. WORTH EVERY PENNY... THE SLIDES ARE AMAZING... FOOD GOOD- NOT TOO EXPENSIVE... even lazy river was fun...

Briana Evans

i was so pleased with this water park!!! for an establishment run predominantly by teenagers and very young adults, the customer service was excellent. they were attentive and kind, lots of smiles despite it being an incredibly busy Sunday. prices are great for an amusement park, areas were clean, and staff was very helpful. we can't wait to visit again!!

Kendra Quinn

Bathroom have very slippery floors. For those not used to water parks this is perfect. Great beginner water park. Prices for food as resort reasonable.

Jantzen Ray

Pros. The concept is awesome. I will give this place another visit in the winter which might change this review in the future to a 4 star. The building and area of Grand Prairie is very nice and clean. They have a handful of good water slides and excellent customer service as well as food. The Cons. Not enough attractions for the price of admission. The lazy river is abnormally slow and the wave pool has very small "waves." For a family of small kids the place is perfect. For someone like the wife and I who are kids at heart and thrill seekers we will seek elsewhere. Until winter hits and an indoor water park will be back on the radar!

Nicole

This place is AMAZING!! Its a great place for the kids as well as adults. Great food, drink & bar for adults. You also have the option to be indoors or use the outdoor pools. Very nice...cant wait to go back.

Shannon Boatright

We had a blast. It's our honeymoon and we came here, we were treated so special. We were given a cabana for the day as a wedding present. We will come back and bring our family Excellent place!!

Sridhar Gubba

Indoor water park..best way to avoid sun while still enjoying water rides. It could have been little bigger for the amount they charge. Friendly Staff and well maintained facility.

James kun

This place is a blast its definitely worth going the slids were absolute awesome and it's not as packed as I thought it be the arcade is also pretty nice I enjoyed everything here really and I'm sure anyone else would yo the lazy river is long and extremely relaxing definitely worth a try and the wave pool is fun with out a ton of people

Layla

I went here with my band. We were here from 11:00 am to 6:15 pm. The park was very fun and amazing. The only part that kind of scared me was that my Friend got stuck in a slide. The food is very cheap for the portions they give you. I would definitely go back! Thanks!

Joseph Struska

We went here as a family on a Monday. The park was very empty, which was great for riding rides. We took 4 kids that were 7 and under and there was plenty that they could do, even though they are small. We used a Groupon, and were still given a free $2/entrant arcade card. Entrance for our family of six into the park was under $100. Definitely would recommend going here. There's plenty for small children and older people as well, and for the price it's a good deal.

eGoodness Network

Great place to have families and friends spend hours of fun there! Food are good too.

NTD Ender

I enjoyed the rides that were available (all of them). Came here with the school band and saw that the staff typed the school name wrong at first, but later hey fixed it. I’m willing to comeback, although, there’s some unnecessary chairs that were in the way on walkways. Overall, not bad

Jennifer Ellison

It was.... well.... Epic! It did get a little busy around 3:00, but we got there at 10am. All over a great place! Definitely keeping this place in my back pocket. Very clean, staff was extremely helpful. Oh... and there's a bar! We went with 8 kids and 3 adults and all of us had a blast.

William Clauser

Fun rides, giant arcade, and decent prices. Unlike most amusement parks, the food here is to DIE for! I only wish they had more rides but still, It's a phenomenal place

Danielle Prince

I’ve been three times and the first two times were better experiences. I can’t give a higher rating because the bathrooms were just totally unacceptable and when I filled out the customer survey review I was never contacted. However, cleanliness aside we had a great time.

Wesley Kebodeaux

Decent place. not a whole lot of bang for your buck. Kids did have fun though so that's all that matters.

Shanetta Haynes

If you get the discounted tickets, it's worth the crowd. Kids had a great time, there was plenty for them to do (ages 9 & 6). There's a bar for the adults and sitting areas to wait and watch while the children play in the individual areas

Rockafella Jones

Lots of fun for all ages. Be aware most the slides need 48" to ride. Only the belly slide is 42"

Aileen Searles

A children's water play area that includes 3 slides. A wave area for boards, a pool with a basketball hoop, giant water slides which I wish I'd gotten pictures of. Lots of chairs, tables and there are cabanas for rent too. Rules are you can't bring any goggles, float toys or food into the park. So we did purchase the goggles they had in the store. We had the chicken tender baskets and pizza for lunch as well as the mini dot ice cream. We all thought the food was good. The park isn't so big that you can't go from one to the other end without feeling like you hiked miles but it's big enough. A very fun place! I'm editing because I forgot to add that there are arcade games here too.

its_irrelevant 1

This place was EPIC!! The huge slides were awesome and the surfboard experience is very realistic. The little kids are a was huge and perfect for them. The arcade was very fun with a variety of different games. 10 out of 10 recommend.

tina villasenor

Great place for the family! Food and drinks priced decently! Not too bad. It was cold outside when we went as soon as we stopped in it was completely warm. Water was cool, not like ice. Able to get right in fully in a matter of seconds. The kids enjoyed the knee boarding/surfing the most! Will be again!

Chris Childers

This place is really awesome. Has something for all ages, and sizes. And. . . They have full bar for all of your adult alcoholic beverages

Eugene Sharp III

My very first trip? I had so much fun. Can't wait to return. #Yellowjacketdrop

Jessi G

It's ok. Not enough swimming area for kids. The only "swimming" pool is one with basketball goals where grown up play, so kids can't really go swimming here because they get hit by the ball. The lazy river was the best area for kindergartners to "swim" in, not terribly fun for them, but they did enjoy the kiddie slide rides. My kids were wanting an area where they could swim, EPIC Waters doesn't have something that.

Joseph Williams

All of the employees that we encountered. Were very polite and professional. My grandson enjoyed himself immensely

Bill Reffitt

Excellent experience! This water park is very large and has a great variety of slides to appeal to all ages. Gift shop and food Prices are very reasonable. Staff was very kind and helpful, making the experience even better. Great place to spend the day!

Joy Mondragon

Beautiful place. We stayed for 4 hrs. Good quality food

Ashley Stimpson

Everything was amazing! The pools were nice. I stayed in the kiddy area mostly and it had a lot of small slides and pool area for them to enjoy with all the bells and whistles. The lazy river was great. I heard there was a wave pool even though I didn't get a chance to see it, and there were many slides people could go on. I found a coupon on living social to go.

Claudia Acevedo-Gómez

Awesome place. Maybe you want to have water shoes. Showers inside the restroom. Family changing room without showers.

BM heros

Very large and clean lifegaurds do there job effectively and respectfully

Keara Williams

It wasn't crowded as I've been told. We did family friday 4-9 and enjoyed ourselves. The pizza was not so tasty but overall we had fun.

Alanis Harris

Lots of fun, but they really need crowd control. After 12pm the population of the park is absolutely horrible. Take 15 minutes to use the restroom. Otherwise lots of family fun.

Isabelle Levvy

I absolutely love this place. The water was a great temperature. It was a lot of fun for all ages.Amazing it's huge and awesome had a blast so many rides and lazy river was awesome.Beautiful place.

Knight Rage

Arcade room air conditioned party rooms. The place doesn't reek of chlorine. Pretty quick time getting through the lines. Decent food. Had a blast with the kiddos.

Ashley Gossett

I have had two parties here one this year in August and in August of 2018. Both times I have had a nice time. However this year I watched a child throw up in the lazy river and I informed the personal and I watched to see what they would do I saw people still using it. This little boy didn't just vomit a little it was a lot like two times and it was thick and gross. When I saw him we were close to the entrance/exit of the river. To me that is gross and unless they have a system that they have in place to clean while people are still swimming I would give 4 stars but that housekeeping issue alone is why I gave three stars. People are getting sick swimming in these types of pools. I know they can't monitor everyone and everybody but they were notified.

Reily Gerth

It's a great place to go in summer time,my kids all enjoyed the time there, even the two-year old son,BUT too crowded !Not sure which day is their slow day… I may go back if they are not that busy

TheKid3rik

Amazing water park went during a weekday wasn’t crowded very clean and fun for my family. Plan on coming here again

Micheal Wootton

It was not too crowded. The water was a great temperature. It was a lot of fun for all ages.

kellie Knight

Amazing it's huge and awesome had a blast so many rides and lazy river was awesome

Melinda Maldonado

I Love This Place. It just opened the first of this year and been here a hand full of times along with having a Birthday party for my son. The food on other hand not so good..Pizza is awful and nacho cheese was not good at all. The Burger and fries combo is your best bet if you want good food there. And they have a small bar for alcohol drinks.

Michelle Bowman

It is the best because some people don't like to sit out in the Sun and I'm one of those people and I enjoyed the food is a pretty decent price and for it to be a water park is closed knit and you get the up communicate with other people this there

Kent

It made our day. We attempted to go to another indoor water park and were told that they don’t sell tickets for the same day. We found Epic online and decided to try it out. When we were walking up we struck up a conversation with an employee out front about the park. They were very helpful and were kind enough to give us free admission passes. That really turned around our day. We had a great time at the park and enjoyed all the slides we rode. We even had the wave pool to ourselves for 10 minutes before it filled up. I’d definitely recommend it for a day of fun.

GermanGirl Trish

First but not last visit! Even though it was a very busy day it did not feel overcrowded. Planned on maybe 3 hours ended being almost seven. Kids & adults all had an enjoyable time. Food was reasonably priced & portioned well. Nice to have such a nice retreat at our backdoor.

Sherry Falcon

This was a very fun place to visit all the way from shreveport. They have fun slides and great food. Not only did the kids enjoy the arcade, the adults enjoyed it as well. Epic water park is always at the top of my list to visit for a family vacation!

Adriane Thomas

Certainly not worth the price. I really didn’t like how there were hardly any tubes to do the lazy river. For the amount of people they let in there, there definitely should have been more than the 10 or 15 that I seen. Staff wasn’t helpful either, when I asked where we could find more, the response was “they’re around”. Most of the people in the lazy river were walking... Also, there should be a staff member at the end of all the slides making sure that when someone comes down they hand off their tube or mat so that someone else can have a turn. Too many people came down and took the mat to go slide again while others were waiting for a chance. Lastly, I don’t know if they have a limit on how many people can be in that building at one time but my family and I went on Saturday June 29 and there were entirely too many people in that small little building. We could barely walk. The only thing that I liked about this place was the fact that it was indoors. But other than that, what a waste.

Cabrese Davis

I came with my family for the first time and what i experienced was great customer service.Your employee Nola answered all our questions and concerns. I will be bringing my family back for another great adventure at epicwaters.

Carmen Becker

Is a water park - which for me has its own issue. But was new and staff was friendly and kids enjoyed themselves - so if I have to go to a water park - this one works

Patricia Pinkard

It is a nice friendly place to take the children, they enjoyed it and that's what it is all about mainly children having fun. The pizza was delicious, the nachos where good.

Matt Houston

Great water park. Our 3yo loved it. Therr was plenty to do and made a day out of it.

Brook B

It's a little pricey, but as a person with a history of skin cancer, I LOVE being able to swim indoors. They have plenty of slides, and a lazy river with wade in area. They have a pool with basket ball, and a large kiddy pool/play area with giant dumping bucket and kids slides. They do have a wave pool but it's outside ☹ That kind of limits the adult activities indoors, but still worth it to me despite the higher prices. It's enough to entertain you for 4hrs.

Emma Serrano

This place was really great the rides were so fun and the workers in the cabanas are really helpful and hard working

Phillip Moore

My granddaughter had the time of her life. She played for hours. The lifeguards were great and the rest of the staff were very helpful.

Shelly Cooper

Epic Waters was a nice outing for me and my special needs daughter. She had fun and I enjoyed her being able to enjoy the perks of a water park without having to sit outside in the hot Texas summer heat! I encourage visitors to get there as early as possible as it can get quite crowded quickly. Also search the Groupon app for admission discounts before planning your visit!

Cyrus Baty

I am not normally a fan of water/theme parks, but I had a blast today! I decided to take 5 of my nieces and nephews to the park and they all loved it. Every member of the staff was great! We were greeted by at least 3 different staff members before we even got into the front door. I stopped Chris (Director of Guest Services) to tell him how impressed I was with everyone and he seemed genuinely appreciative of the compliment. The pricing of the concessions was surprisingly reasonable. We will definitely be back. I was expecting total chaos and overpriced everything, but that was not the experience. Definitely check it out!

Ruby Villafranco

Had a great family experience at Epic Waters!! Rented a cabana n had the whole crew with us. Awesome staff and service! Definitely coming back!!

Kimberly West

Great place to enjoy water indoors! Fun for all ages.

Melanie Hodges

Its was an amazing experience .Beautiful place.his water park is very large and has a great variety of slides to appeal to all ages.

Loraine Rowe

Friday fun night great deal fun for the kids. loved it. was not crowded able to ride multiple times. only eait was the flowrider and it still was not bad and definatly worth it.

Alicia Edwards

Pretty nice for indoor water park. Not as many attractions as I thought it would be. Kids spent most of the time in lazy river and playing the arcade games. Bar had reasonably priced drinks & was a nice addition for the adults.

Katy Thimann

Visited with my family, ages 1-62 and we enjoyed our time. It got pretty crowded in July on a weekday but we, thankfully, reserved a cabana so seating wasn’t and issue for us, as it was for majority of the other patrons. The pool smell was slightly overwhelming, only to be resolvable at the tallest slides (where there’s an open/aerated roof-and are super fun!) or outside at the wave pool (where there was no shade from the blistering Texas sun).

Rusty Webb

My 4 year old loved this place to death. Word to the wise, be there at opening and leave around 2-3pm when it gets extremely crowded. The kids tower had 4 slides and other jungle gym type stuff. It was more than enough to keep my 4 year old entertained. Slides for the bigger kids and adults were really fun. I wish I lived closer or I would go to this place a ton.

Jennifer Dolehite

Epic waters is a great indoor and outdoor environment. It has a large kids play area as well as other areas for us big kids! The arcade is lots of fun with skeet ball and plenty of video games where you get tickets to exchange for candy and prizes. The arcade does cost extra. Food variety is standard pizza, chicken fingers, fries, salad, nachos and mini dots ice cream. Alcoholic drinks are available, too. Cabanas are nice to rent if you have a large group so you have deluxe seating and private space to leave gear and hang out. Food is served in the cabanas and charged to your bill. Even a TV in the cabanas if you don't want to be in the water.

Shanice Tipps

My experience there was fun I attended a birthday party but you only have the room upstairs for about an hour and a half then you go downstairs to the pool area but if the tables downstairs are full then you will have to wait or sit by yourself Instead of with the group you came with. I just think if you pay for a birthday party you should have a private area downstairs as well instead of arguing over a seat. Other than that the water park is nice.

Mel Garza

It was so much fun! Today was my first time and I loved the slides! I dont usually ride them but today I did and dont regret it.

Traci Heslip

Good food, fun family atmosphere. Overall plenty of things for kids to do and stay busy. Mines where wore out by time we got home ate bath and out like a light?

Yaya Williams

It was nice the staff was ok for my first experience. Expected more when it came to being there for the first time from the welcoming staff. Make sure you have no food etc in your bags or you will have to trash it or take it all the way back to the car. The food is subpar.

Jaz

Me and my husband had VIP tickets which were a joke because they just got you in that’s it... not sure why they are called VIP. We were also asked by the staff how we came across them at the counter which was odd..Went to enjoy without the kids to learn all the water is 3 feet inside also not as big as i thought seemed like more slides than water.... younger kids between 2-8 yrs old would enjoy.... Ended up at Hurricane Harbor which was amazing

Eddie Whitley

Fun place. Brought a 6 year old and she had a ton of fun. The slides for older riders are sufficient. The lazy river and wave pool seemed geared for younger ones which is fine. The park seemed well kept. Visited on a private, company event so lines were short and it wasn't crowded...during the event... Big plus not having to worry about weather. Like others have mentioned the concrete floors are slippery. They're just way too smooth. I doubt it's related to contamination like another reviewer suggested. Saw others slip and almost fell myself... The park gets extremely crowded fast when it's open to the public. We were gonna hang around for a bit after it was opened to the public but it started getting hard to move around. Based on other reviews this wasn't an anomaly. Just your average Saturday.

Eric Gonzales

They advertise they are open year round on billboards, so I finally take my kids twice and they were closed quite a bit in Sept and October both. To my knowledge, that isn’t year round. What a sham!!!! FYI Check their schedule because they aren’t open YEAR ROUND. If I could have chosen Zero Stars, I would have.

Cozmic Fox

Its was an amazing experience for our 1st visit. We will definitely return.

Ashley Burch

Best park about this waterpark is the outdoor wave pool. It gets way too crowded inside, can't enjoy the lazy river because there are just Soo many people. And if you don't get there right when they open you'll be waiting in line for the rides more than you are on the water

kevin Lee

Good and fun place. But not many ride. Not big.

Matthew Salera

There are not enough tubes for everyone. You have to wait in a huge line just to get a tube and then another huge line to go down a slide, and very few slides don't require a tube. They also have very few tubes this the lazy river. There is no organization or direction for any of the lines. Once you got on, the slides were good, but overall a very disappointing experience. I wouldn't go back.

Moon Family

Moon Family Reunion: Everything was phenomenal!! Mrs.Tamara Went Above And beyond to make sure our family event went smoothly....this was our family first time visiting epic waters, and I must say everything was EXCELLENT!!! My whole family was so happy and pleased with the outcome.we will definitely be returning back real soon.Heidi was awesome as well she made sure everything got corrected as far as our group count.our family would like to thank you all so very much for the EXCELLENT customer service and the wonderful experience that we all had at epic waters! Thanks again,~The Moon Family♥️

Patty Pirko

Epic indeed! We took our granddaughter for Spring Break. It was the perfect answer to a rainy day. The staff is excellent, friendly and competent. The only caution is that a trip to Epic does require planning. We booked a cabana in Jan for our Mar trip. This allows for reserved seating and a server to avoid the exceedingly long lines at the snack bar. This is an amusement park so expect long lines but it is well worth it. The slides are great! The flow rider was a blast.( Our granddaughters favorite.) And the lazy river is always great for a relaxing change.

This is a GREAT place to bring the family. The customer service is EXCELLENT !!! The workers are super nice and very professional. My kids love coming here, they have so much fun. The day passes are very reasonable, but the season and annual passes are way too expensive. That's my only complaint. Other than that, this is a good place for family fun.

sandra alvarado

We had fun, our daughters loved the wave pool. They also had tons of fun in kids play area and lazy river. We did stay from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. because it is kind of pricey adding up food and all.

Catina Shannon

I took my niece's to this water park and it was absolutely so much fun for the entire group. I am planning our next visit. So very glad we went.

Melinda M

It was a great place to go too. It was all inside didn't have to worry about burning.

DetectorVet

They need more fans and airflow inside. Very humid and stagnant. Very stuffy. Otherwise great place to have fun!

Sophia Williams

My kids enjoyed it. Very kid friendly. Would recommend it for all ages.

Cheryl Thomas

Mixed thoughts... first of all no real safety for the kids, anyone can leave with a child. Secondly, would be bathing suits or the lack of a suitable suit is the word! And slippery when wet is another issue... I watched for hours people slipping and falling in areas that should be safe walk!

M Bilal Zafar

Was a fun trip. It is not an overly large waterpark. It gets fairly crowded pretty quickly especially on the weekends. Operating staff is efficient but people on the check in counters take a fairly long time especially if you need to buy something from the shop on your way in. In our case they couldn't find the product on the system till after twenty minutes when a manager of sorts arrived. There really need to be more tubes in the lagoon and wave pool. Around midday all tubes were hogged and it was a struggle to find one. The kids area is great. The whole family had fun so likely to visit again

Angye Landa

Great place for kids.. family.. and friends Food is a bit pricey.. The bathrooms are really clean.. but a bit cold in there specially after getting in the water Overall great place to spend with the kids or family

Lana K

Fun place. I love the kiddie area. My toddlers enjoyed it and I was able to go down the slides with them! They are not bad for being baby slides.

Emmanuel Akinnawonu

It's really affordable and fun place for family and friends to visit together but some of the lifeguards needs happy pills and stop being a grinch

Jdog_ chill0_Playz

Bought season passes love this place only problem is the waiting time to get inside

Tamara

We had a great experience. The staff was fun and helpful. They interacted with my kids and were polite. The place was clean. We have gone to many arcades and i definitely feel like they got more than they would have normally and we had no problems with the games!

Sha G

Great family friendly water park. My kids love it here! There's a lazy river, wave pool, childrens area, arcade and a handful of slides. All are supervised by lifeguards who are mostly teens. Beware of the yellow slide though. There's a weight limit of 99 lbs but there were several children that got stuck on it while we were there.

Alex Anya

Great place for kids.....I mean all kids both old and young.

Amy Burns

I would give Epic a 3 out of 5 just because my boys loved it. I do have some complaints or suggestions. 1- if you buy your tickets in advance online you shouldn't have to wait in line with the other people purchasing tickets. There needs to be separate lines. 2- no way enough tubes for lazy river and wave pool. 3- the floors are so slippery because of thel slime on the floor so make sure and wear water shoes.

Rob

Pretty awesome indoor water park. really great slides but make sure the kids are at least 48 in to be able to take advantage of them all. 42 in gets them on some as well. The lazy river goes around the whole place and there's not too much walking from one place to the other. Really well laid-out water park. Highly recommended for the family.

Grace Shelhimer

There were so many tables which made it too crowded in the dining areas. Compared to Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark, this place is very small. The best part was the body surf ride. But only one ride of its kind, and only allows 1 person at a time. This could be a very long wait. There is a bar...but why? Because after 2 trips on the slides and a couple of float rides on the circular river, most adults are probably ready to go. So pull up a chair and have a cold one...or 2. Little kids will love it. Not the scene for teenagers.

Anna S.

I haven't enjoyed this indoor water park, yet. The only reason I went was for work purposes, but it looks so fun. The 4 stars is becaise of the pricing...it could be kind of pricey for some people. I can't wait to take my son to try it out!

Vincent Ukwu

Fun indoor place to get wet, pleasant surprise in Grand Prairie. But I will say I can see it getting redundant over time but great summer fun.

Lehua Alvarez

I had fun. Everything in their was great. I gave it 4stars because the lines where the yellow double tube slides and blue matts, were all crowed and no direction for kids and adults to get through. You have to litteraly find your way through blind cause of all the tubes. But other than that little part it was Good.

Epic Waters is a great family atmosphere for all ages. There was an arcade indoors (outside of the water park area) for activities out of the water. Various water slides, a lazy river, and an indoor wake board area make for hours of fun. We had pizza but there were other options and adult drinks are served as well. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and lots of fun. Would definitely recommend!

I would like to send high praise for Mr. Jimbo, he provided the best service I’ve have experienced in a long time. Being a family of 7 with a new born, after buying food from concession it was hard to bring back to cabana. Jimbo without any hesitation offer to carry our tray for us. On top of that my 5 yo daughter dropped her bun on the floor and you know when it drops at Epic it’s soaked. He then got her another one. Definitely wished I had him in my company.

R Nav

Fun place for kids and clean. Limited food options - pizza and burger. Overpriced locker $8? Ripoff.

scott rodieck

Great place to have fun with out the sun burning down on you. The slides are fantastic and the pizza could use more flavor. My only concern is the walk ways are very slippery and so are the steps up to the slides.

Leah Marr

The outdoor wave pool is only open on the weekends! Must have missed the fine print.

Ana A.

My family had a great time!!!Great place to come with the kids.

Stefanie Goodwin

There are lockers available that are overpriced and difficult to use but most people just leave their stuff on tables and chairs claiming an entire area they are never going to be at. The children have a lot of fun but there's no really good place to rest as an adult. No hot tub or lounge chairs. My boyfriend and I took turns taking naps in our car.

Rachel Dinkins

I think that place was overbooked or over capacity. There was NO room for anyone to do anything really. The floors are really slippery. We got there at 10am. All I know is after 12 I thought it was a concert with all those people. I really don’t think it’s safe and people were blocking the entrance way to get inside the kiddie area. Whew Lord it was just too much for me. Nice indoor park but too much.

Crystal Taboada

Love this park. First of all, it’s never packed because they only allow so many people inside. Best option is to buy tickets ahead of time so you’re not stuck waiting outside. Secondly, the food from the concessions there is really good and for a very reasonable price. Lastly, they have a GREAT kiddy area. My three-year-old loves it! I wish the bigger kids would keep away, but can’t really control that. It’s also a bit smelly now and then, so it’s not getting five stars for that reason.

Brittnie Walling

Over crowded!!! But overall a great place to take kids to run around and play games. Can't beat the bar and drinks for adults to sit back and relax!

Tyffanie Davis

Good for family. The smell near the lockers is horrible though. The best slide was down and people got stuck a couple of times and the red slide is very uncomfortable for ladies. But the rest of the slides and areas were great!

Deborah Robinson

Excellent customer service! Membership fees are pricey. Currently paying for day pass. Utilizing their pool facility and rowing machine several times per week.

How to Videos

I loved it and want to go again soon!! Food was great and cheap! And the rides were great!!!

Sara Kramer

It's nice to be in side but it's cramped. The flow rider is not stand up because of the crowds but as we waited for standup time there is no place to know this information ( the reason we came out was to do surf)

SUNER1 SDR

Staff was friendly. Water was clean and just the right temperature for swimming. Life guards have their eyes open and I didn't see anyone on their phones. Safety is priority with staff. Food is delicious as my kids are picky eaters. Can't wait to go again!

Yadira Aguilar

The chlorine smell is REALLY REALLY strong it gave me a headache! As soon as you walk in you get blasted with the smell and once your in the water it just gets stronger. Also Not what I was expecting. I taught it was bigger from what we see online. Giving it a 3 star as to It was a okay experience. The chlorine really made my day not enjoy as much as I wanted to.

Latisha Ward

My boys really enjoying coming here, but my pockets do not. After paying $400 for 2 season passes I then had to turn around and pay an additional $30 just for their father and I to be able to accompany them. Then I was asked if I was entering as if I had a choice. So if you are not swimming please plan to pay the spectator fee (fee to watch your own kids).

David Murillo

I went yesterday for my first time , and first it was fun ,but not enough slides you gotta be waiting almost 25 mins for the slides... The floor is extremely slippery .. now today I woked up with rash on my chest even tho I wear a shirt , so watch out for for bacteria... This place is so overprice they don't even let you bring food , no refills for drinks are you serious??? And the price 32 per person not even discussing that... Not going back again... Hope epic water see this review and do something about it...

roman quiroz

Family-friendly place definitely some thrilling slides would definitely visit again friendly lifeguards keep you safe and assist you with directions as to where to go and what to do you just have to ask

Denise F

This place is expensive for what they have to offer; however, it’s a cheaper option than Great Wolf Lodge. I do not like that you can’t bring in your own food/drinks- especially since two of my kids knocked over their drinks in the very crowded eating area and we were not allowed to get oops refills. They have a pool with a basketball hoop and a floating shark this sounds great in theory; however, in actuality what happens is your <6 kids end up getting elbows to the face from the teenagers playing basketball. They don’t have a lazy river or one of those sweet adult pools where you can swim up to the bar and drown yourself in overpriced adult beverages. There are not many winter options so in that department it’s a win but overall I would go somewhere else.

Jyssica Stagner

We had a blast he rocked out the flow rider an hes only 4

Norma Martinez

Really nice indoor place, the have the outdoor wave pool. You need to be careful when you are walking around, very slippery. We enjoyed the arcade as well.

Kent Castle

We went for my birthday and had a blast! The lifeguards were really active, monitoring well, and friendly, which is a huge deal to me as a former lifeguard and lifeguard trainer and supervisor at another local water park. The park was nice and clean. Every employee we came encountered with were so nice and helped in anyway possible. I will definitely be going back.

RUTH PLOOF

Lots of family friendly activities, a variety of slides and relief from the sun! We didn't know that you couldn't bring your own food but since we had a pre schooler they let us bring in his snacks. And the food there was pretty good!

Deepti Kudyadi

We went for the family fun Friday accidentally and saved money. It was around $118 dollars for 4 including pizza and 4 drinks plus we got 2 arcade cards. The place was small but clean. They had plenty of staff including life guards every where. The restrooms were being constantly cleaned. Only disadvantage was that was there was no place in the family changing rooms to shower. I gave it 3 stars because it was a lot smaller than expected and no shower in family changing rooms.

Stephanie Collins

Phenomenal place! I’m an Irish/German pasty freckled ginger, so the sun is not my friend. I love the water but always have to be hidden completely from the sun. We brought my niece here while she was visiting and I had so much fun! The lockers are great, the staff are all pretty friendly.

Carlos Eduardo lopez

Just amazing the whole family had a blast in this park is the place that I will continue to come
