REVIEWS OF Caddo Lake State Park IN Texas

Amazing, the park is like nothing I have seen before. The trees in the lake are a sight to behold. There are campgrounds, trails, fishing, picnic tables, so many wonderful things to see and do. The entrance fees are very reasonable and the staff were very friendly. There are tours available as well. if you are in there area this is a place that should be on your list to visit

tamela sauber

It was very peaceful and very beautiful. There are 2 boardwalks to overlook Mills Pond. The bathrooms we're lit well enough. They have canoes to rent to get some great pics between the trees in the bayou. The camping areas are very clean and the pads are covered in sand, making it more comfortable to sleep on. There are electric and water sites available. There is wildlife there. I got spooked by an armadillo walking at night. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is an educational area in the gift shop that you can interact with.

Natalie R

Boat ramp was wonderful but get back before dark. The park was beautiful and the check in was friendly. The park was clean and accommodating.

Karin Nordlander

Beautiful but could not enjoy the boardwalks because everything was flooded.

Alec Spencer

Caddo lake is one of the most beautiful places you will ever see. A perfect place to relax and spend time with family. I urge anyone who has not been before to go and see for yourself.

Paige Green

What a beautiful park! The staff is awesome! They have great little cabins, perfect for reunions and retreats. The cabins don't have fire rings... Bummer, if you're wanting to tell ghost stories around a campfire but there is a pedestal grill for cooking outside. The trails are nice and well kept. You can rent a canoe and paddle around the gorgeous Cypress trees. Great place to get amazing pictures. No other state park in Texas is quite like this one, unique and gorgeous. (Please give me a thumbs up if you found this review helpful.)

Jason P Cargill

We drive here from Arlington last year for a long weekend. This is a beautiful state park! The trees are amazing to look at. The camp sites are well shaded and nicely spaced. If you have a kayak or canoe, I would highly recommend bringing them. We got a site next to the water, so we could push our kayaks in every morning and enjoy the beauty. There is a place to rent canoes as well.

Bryan H

We really enjoyed the park, Texas state parks are the best! We enjoyed walking around the boat ramp and were lucky enough to be there when the tiny frogs were hatching. An absolute must visit park if you are in the area. The reason it's not a 5 star rating is because when we got home we looked at the reciept from the gift shop purchases and discoverred we had been charged an admission fee...we both have the Bluebonnet passes and are not supposed to be charged...not really sure what happened, but we will make sure to pay better attention next time.

JP Kelly

Peaceful and relaxing. Great park staff and the Rangers are polite and helpful.

Ryan Jackson

Great place for relaxing and boating... Locals very friendly and kid friendly!!

Adam Clay

This is an awesome park! The staff are very friendly and welcomed me imto the park. The park is under some renovations so it feels like you are the only one in the park. They have canoes to rent and lots of paddling trails. I paddled out to Hell's Half Acre and it is...in a word, surreal. I would only recommend some experience at kayaking/canoeing for that trip because of heavy boat traffic on the bayou. If you are not so experienced, the pond in the park is a good place to explore for a couple of hours. I had a blast!

Sdolfingal31@gmail.com Crome4dome

I love this park however I wished they had a swim area.

L W

Nice place, good camping areas, family friendly

Stephen Hall

The park was nice with roomy campsites. Some of the staff were very accommodating, others, not so much. The canoe paddling trail is a really interesting self tour.

Boo Hailey

Was a nice trip along with the land area

Dana T

The area accessible to the public other than by foot is small. But the quiet and beauty of this place is one to see.

Miley McClain

This was my 6th year to be apart of the Davis Family Reunion. The workers sometimes come down to grab a bite to eat. Was to busy this year. Nice location and play area for kids. Plenty of room and parking. Try it out well worth it. Gift shop has nice items. I have gotten a t shirt every year.

Valerie Hassett

Such a pretty spot! Tall trees, Spanish moss, walking trails, clean restrooms, not too crowded.

Mary Mansfield

Always a great place to visit with lots of things to do. Plus they have made some wonderful upgrades.

Joey Rojas

This is the place to be! There is always something to do at the state park. They often offer classes that engage the community with nature and some of the most educational and beautiful nature walks. You'll never regret driving around and finding some of the small mom n pop dinners, it's some of the best food in the area!

Christy Sowell

Friendly staff, clean fun environment and great views

William Goins

Enjoyed our day there

Shirley Cage

Tim Riley

Weekend getaway just go do it it's well worth it check how about different weekends for different things to do at Caddo lake.

Heather Vessey

Loved it...Our first time there, in January. It was so peaceful, so relaxing cool enough to enjoy ourselves but not too cold. Large trees everywhere, we did a little hike through the woods, walked down to the fishing pier in hopes of spotting a gator...No such luck. It's was just a wonderful weekend, the camp host helped us when we arrived find a spot large enough for our 37' motorhome. Will definitely go back.

Charles Honaker

A very beautiful park with updated camping areas. The showers are no cost and very clean. Don't expect a lake to play in. This is a bayou.

Mendy

One of my favorite places in Texas! I go at least twice a year.

CoreyB Khaotic

Such a beautiful location.the money you pay to enter($4)goes directly into maintenance and upkeep of the park and it shows.always clean and well kept.if you want a place to camp, fish, relax or photograph the Cypress tress and moss, this is one of the most peaceful places to go.

Tina Weindel

It cost me $4.00 to get in. I rented a canoe for 1 hour for $10. They give you extra time to get down to the canoes in the water and to get back up to turn in your keys. Just an FYI, there is no one down by the canoes to help you get the canoe in the water. You're on your own getting the canoe out of the water and getting the canoe out of the water. Thankfully for me today there was other people out there canoeing and they are very gracious to help me get the canoe to the water's edge and back out from the water. So if you're on any restrictions for lifting or pulling like I am right now make sure somebody can help you with the canoe. Today was a nice cool day so if canoeing was very enjoyable. Not sure I want to do this on a very hot humid day. Very beautiful where you go out canoeing. Well worth the trip out here and definitely worth the money.

Yvonne Perrin

I grew up going to this Lake and it was totally amazing as a child I'm going to take my own kids here so much Beauty

Jackie Cain

Nice place I dont see why they charge you just to drive through and look around after all we are tax payers .

Rosalie H

Beautiful trees and definitely worth it to go canoeing. Entrance fee is cheap

KELSIB WELLS

Everybody who was staying in the park that's to say other attendees or campers we're just the nicest people ever although I was disappointed that I didn't see any Alligators something about coming in the evening time out there on the water but I never saw any however some guy caught like a 900 lb Gator out of there with 13 feet of length so better watch your poodles at the edge of the water LOL hahaha

Mikael Mikaelyan

fantastic place

Daniel Webb

Me and my family loved it. The fishing pier is really nice and we caught some good fish. We really enjoyed the hiking trails. Unfortunately most of the trails were closed, but we cant wait to get back and see them another time. It is very clean and beautiful.

debbie nuncio

Beautiful big Cypress trees surround the tent and cabin sites. A little bit of road noise in the tent area but not a nuisance. Would highly recommend this park.

Space Time

Nice park. Small but the full hook up sites have newer bathroom. Went when lake was too high to canoe and some lower tent sites we're flooded. Staff was polite and gave info on things to do like visiting lake o the pines nearby for kids to swim at.

Dana Willis

I am so glad I decided to spend a few days at this park!! The lake and river are amazing!! The Spanish moss hanging from the beautiful bald cypress trees is spectacular and unique. The hiking trail is like being in a fairytale forest. Watch out for the poison ivy, though.

Adam Bourgeois

Visited the park and used one small part of the facilities for a reunion. The building and grounds were pleasant, with tables and chairs provided. Bathrooms accessible from within the building was a nice plus.

Chris Collander

Beautiful area, but beware of ticks!

Lysa Liem

We stayed 3 days, 2 nights and that was definitely not enough time to do everything we wanted to. There was a little hiccup checking into our cabin but once we were in it was smooth sailing. We stayed in Cabin #2, which in my opinion was the best cabin because of the porch. The air conditioner was fantastic. We are already planning our next trip back to Caddo Lake State Park.

Kristina Mcelyea

Very beautiful and quiet!

CURTIS ROBERTS

Great place for a family vacation!!

Joe Orms

Very nice on caddo lake nateral beauty

LoneStar 950

We camped here in a small travel trailer in early March. The weather was very mild with clouds. The humidity was high and it felt muggy if you're not used to it. This park is great for the landscape and wildlife. The scenery is unique for Texas with the beautiful Cypress trees and Spanish moss. Nice trails for hiking and historical CCC buildings make this a nice stop. The camping facilities and restrooms are clean and well maintained. Texas State Parks are a great value.

Liz Moore

Great place to explore nature.

Mike North

It was great loved it.

Cris Hudson

Great place for hiking, fishing, and weekend get away. The Cabins are Excellent and comfortable. The trails are well maintained.

John Gholson

Great place to have a family reunion. Cabins and meeting hall available for rent. Small cost to enter park.

Brigitte Campbell

Beautiful

Jo Robinson

People are friend by beautiful lake

Mike King

This State park really is very nice. We rented one of the four person cabins and it was clean and comfortable. The Cypress forest in the lake is amazing. Get out on that water somehow, take a tour, rent a canoe or whatever.

Samin M.

Beautiful place, the landscape is one of the most unique you are going to find in Texas. The area is a swamp has has diverse vegetation with the iconic moss on the trees. Place is home to alligators so don't plan on swimming. They have many boat tours that vary from a couple hours to a hold day depending on what you want and where you look. They also have a place where you can eat fried gator (taste like chicken). They also have some cabin rental that don't look great on the outside but are clean and cozy on the inside. Great place highly recommend to check out.

Ira Lewis

Great place

Crystal Driskill

Beautiful scenery, peaceful place!!! Great location for photography.

Jim Mcdonald

Grady Beachum

Good trails, canoeing, camping. Friendly and helpful park rangers.

Brooke Yahne

Drove all the way here just to find out that you have to pay to go see everything.

Dwight Mays

Have always loved the Park... more and more beautiful by the year!

Eric Brown

Small but visually striking

Linda Southard

Great place for a reunion!

Jennifer Benton

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet and clean. They are strict about enforcing the rules, but are always incredibly polite about it. Dark at night for star gazing on a clear night. Don't go here without paddling out on the lake, it's so worth it! We caught an alligator gar and a crappie, heard the fishing is usually better but they had just recently had a flood that must have scared the fish off. Beautiful pristine trails, lots of charming little bridges and beautiful natural looking stairs. Moss everywhere is so calming, lots of song birds singing in the morning. Also the cabins and screened shelters are super cheap and the tent camping is fantastic as well. Fire rings at every campsite. This is by far the best state park I've visited yet and I've been to quite a few all over Texas.

Bilel kribi

I have stayed there for one day. This is very plaisant. Toilets and bathrooms are amazing. Thank you

J Mc

Great place!

Nikki Sharp

Beautiful park. Dirty facilities. Upon arriving to our pretty wooded green shaded campsite, I remembered the gross bathrooms from our visit last year. We checked in around 2pm on a Tuesday. I know it's summer but it looked like they hadn't been clean in a few days.(trash needed to be emptied, floor needed to be swept/mopped, & it smelled like an ashtray) I called Marilyn at the front desk and politely requested someone come check them out. Here's hoping. The lake is beautiful & the sites are nice & spacious but I honestly feel I'd be cleaner taking a "shower" at my campsite dumping water over my head by my tent.

George Hacker

Great scenic views

Josh Vanhoose

We really loved Caddo Lake State park. The rangers were very active and the park was in great condition. The scenery is amazing there the perfect sample of southern natural beauty. I found the terrain to be more diverse and fun than Kisatchie and the trip out on the lake was truly breathtaking.

Nidal Jabri

Beautiful with short hiking trails and lots of water to navigate. Easy access to the water. Lots of fishing areas and staff is super helpful

Dane Sigua

The only natural lake in Texas. Try one of the boat tours to get guided info on how the town and a famous aviator got started.

Rick P

See the typical southern Cypress swamps with Spanish moss, and surprisingly realize you're still in Texas

Alicia DeHart

Went in to visit the Interpretive Center at the entrance and drove around the park. Since this is a wetland, expect wet conditions in the air and on the ground. Very pretty!

Stacie Pahl

Great cabins and park! Only let down was due to recent rains we were unable to rent canoes.

BNPixPro Series

❤❤❤d the EDIBLE WILD PLANT GUIDED HIKE!!! Park store as EDUCATIONAL NATURE CENTURE and Items NEEDED for

Chief

Wow. What a beautiful lake.

Laura Romine

Really beautiful park. Good fishing. Because no swimming area and I am all about hitting the water Caddo lost a star but in all fairness that is the only reason.

Austin Castillo

Pretty neat. Sunsets over the water look beautiful!

Jeff Baker

Awesome new facilities

brennan armshaw

Breath taking

Aaron Nelson

We had a great time here. Took a nice hike around part of Lake Caddo and then had a picnic under the moss laden Cypress trees. Nice and quiet and very clean.

Nolan and Maryanne Wetterling

A small park, was flooded at the time of visiting. Cabin was nice. Beautiful area and staff was friendly.

James Peavy

Beautiful we are going back as much as possible.

360 AK

I always enjoy a visit to the state park.

Don Hart

Friendly Staff, clean facilities, very nice, but. lots of poison ivy around campsites, watch your kids. Don

Ray Ivey

Wonderful nature walk. Every time I look at my pics from there my heart yearns to go back

Jay Amoedo

Beautiful, clean, well up kept park. Peaceful campsites, and friendly park staff. Highly recommend renting a canoe during your stay and paddling through the beautiful cypress trees. Bring plenty of fishing equipment, it’s inevitable that your gonna lose some to the Cypress roots.

Aurora Long

The facilities were in good order and the lake is beautiful. All of the guideposts everywhere detracted a bit from taking pictures but I'm sure they're worth it to the people traveling the lake. I learned a lot coming here, didn't know that lake highway signs were a thing, and there's a sasquatch in East Texas?! Also, not nearly as many mosquitoes as I expected, it was overall very picturesque.

Leslie Smolinski

We visited the state park to attend a family reunion. Our daughter was able to check out one of the junior ranger backpacks, so that we could explore and learn. We went on a nature hike and enjoyed some of the cabins. It was a great time and very clean and we'll kept state park.

John Metzger

The park is beautiful and the campsites are nice and very private. But the showers, which looked to be pretty new were nasty. The white shower curtain was covered with black mold and the grout in the shower was black.

Sheila Williams

This is one of my most favorite state parks. The entrance fee is $3.00 per person. The park is small, but beautiful no matter what time of year you go. And different lighting, amount and colors of the leaves creates a multitude of beautiful photos. The lagoon is full of cypress trees and has two boardwalks that puts you out over the water. One is lit until around 10pm. You can rent canoes from the registration center to take out among the trees. There are some nice trails throughout the park, campgrounds, and some rustic cabins as well. We've been twice, once in October and again in December. Both times there were few other people around, so we felt we had the place to ourselves.

Gary Galles

Loved it. Beautiful park with nice camp sites and hiking trails. The river is beautiful, get there early to get a canoe.

Joeydel Reynolds

I like the nature trails. Seems like a good place to camp.

Linda Byrne

First time and there is a great catfish place to eat right next to the lake. Fresh fish!

K&E Hathaway

Says they kayaks. Not true. 2 seater canoes.

Angela Fragoso

Dirty room two guys were smoking weed an busting beer bottles it was only 1 dirty room which was the main bedroom

R R

Loved it here. We went in a Sunday , very few people. It was very relaxing. The lake itself is very picturesque, and seemed to be a popular place for camping and canoeing. We also stayed a night at the cabins. The cabin was clean, cozy and very quaint. The night sky was gorgeous ! We could see the stars very clearly, it was pitch dark outside. That was a very pleasant surprise. Would love to visit again !

Barbara Berry

Very nice park. Clean and not crowded.

Ross Tompkins

Great place. Nice and quiet for visitors. New bathroom facilities are super nice. Canoe rentals as well. Will be back.

Bill Thornton

Beautiful unique park. Towering pines. Clear water. Well maintained.

Michael Shaddox

Caddo Lake has a magical quality in the Fall. Definitely inspiring

jamie rowlett

It's very peaceful and clean I loved the canoes

Bryce Hamm

Best state park. Ever.

Seleta Beddo

Love this place. Lots of history all around.

Kathleen Greer

Called and asked about Cabins. And "Unfortunately its two people only." So... My husband, two kids and I will find a different park.

Vittorio Aronica

We have paddled tens lakes in Texas with our kayaks but definitely this is something special. One day is not enough here so I recommend to stop at least one night avoiding rush. You have to breath the nature as well adapting you paddling with slows movements. A lot of wildlife but, unfortunately, in three days we never seen alligators... For those who love the kayak this is a must see!

Nanda Mylaram

Beautiful place

Jeremy Hill

Quiet secluded and very pleasant, even for the end of July.

JLR Custom Homes

Great place to bring your horses for the weekend. Excellent horse camping ground, and great trails.

Rena Patel

The Ranger Station closes at 6 and they have a self pay station. They ran out of maps and the trails are not well mapped or marked. They do not have maps at trail heads and the ones that are there are far and widespread. The bits that were wired off were not very well done as somehow we still ended up on a trail that was supposed to be closed off. Loads of spider webs marked the trails and there is a chance of getting chiggers. So be aware and spray yourself with bug spray. It's a nice trail and night hiking is supposed to be big here. We began at 5 and we're finished by 7. Trails are easy to moderate. It gets dark fast and there are not many bathrooms unless you hike or drive up to the lake. The views are beautiful at sunset.

Carolyn May

Beautiful!! Love this area and park. The bald cypress give it a haunting, mysterious feel. It's just really gorgeous!!

John Peteet

We went on a night hike with a park ranger and quite a few others. It was very interesting. Although, we could've potentially seen/heard more if people respected what they were repeatedly asked - to not talk it be loud. That never happened - but the park employee handled it very very well. I highly recommend visiting.

Elaine Bowers

Nice place. We rode around to check it out for future stays in the area. They had some new Cabins and a new bath house for the TENT crowd. It was all so nice and clean. Looking forward to going back and will recommend it to others.

Ina Tolison

Nice place to visit

Brad Roberson

Went camping here with the boy scouts. They have great facilities and heated bath houses.

Nathan Nielsen

Quiet park during week. Cabins have the basics. Good place to relax and forget about what is going on back home. Warning: DO NOT DRINK IN PUBLIC. If drinking do it inside cabin only.

James Rodgers

Camping at one of the most beautiful and exciting lakes in Texas. Perfect for kayaking and camping. Park rangers are awesome and helpful!

Mattias Aronsson

We had such a great time canoeing on the lake

Jim Norman

Beautiful and not a wanna be

Matthew W

Beautiful state park located in deep east Texas, about a three hour drive from Dallas. The park's major feature is a 26,000 acre lake. I highly recommend taking a boat tour of the lake where you can get a close-up view of the many bald cypress trees covered with Spanish moss. Things to do here include fishing, boating, geocaching, hiking, and camping. The park offers 46 camp sites, some with full hookup, as well and screen shelters and historic cabins. Unlike most Texas state parks, wifi is not available. If you forget something, most anything you might need is available in Shreveport, Louisiana, about 30 miles away.

Michael Mitchell

Caddo lake state park in Karnack Tx is one of the most beautiful places in the state with RV set ups ,tent camping and cabin rentals by reservations. It has a boat launch, hiking and bicycle trails I would recommend it to anyone who is into natural nature living with any type of wildlife native to the area can be seen at anytime. "BEAUTIFUL "!

Joseph Pulickal

The boat rides are very good. Sports people can bring in their own speed boat and enjoy. Families can hire the guided boat. Lots of things to see. Recommended place.

Jennifer Luster

Beautiful sight

Leonel Ramirez

Nice park near the Texas-Louisiana border with hiking trails and a couple of piers/wildlife viewing areas. There's also canoes for rental. We didn't see any alligators but we saw a few birds.

Shabnam Amir

Great place for nature lovers!!

Marta Mariño Maza

With Spanish moss casing thick cypress trees and a sprawling labyrinth of lush bayous and wetlands, this lake is just begging to be kayaked. Created by the gigantic log jam dubbed “The Great Raft” -- which began backlogging the Red and Atchafalaya Rivers as far back as 1100-1200 AD -- it’s one of the only naturally formed lakes in Texas

Heather L

Terrific campsite. No bugs which surprised me. Beautiful docks to fish off on on the Mill pond. Showers under construction- new showers lodge looks like it will be amazing.

HNTR Media

Beautiful place to hike

Butch Spencer

The best lake I've ever been to bar none!

Barbi Morgenstern

If your looking for a place to swim, this is not for you... Unless you don't mind swimming with gators. Great camping sites!

Kevin Milner

Great camping and bayou!

Calvin Sikes

I come here with my students and they love it. It is the wilderness but not too far away from town. The park is always clean and everyone is always helpful and nice. Highly recommend stopping by and trying this place out.

j kyle

Trails were closed, today, and the park was smokey due to a controlled burn. If you want to hike, you might want to call the park for an update.

Karl Lambert

Great old comfortable cabins, beautiful setting.

Nghi Nguyen

Good view for take pictures.

Cindy Cochran

Absolutely beautiful.

kjkeeler

Beautiful! We had a great time exploring and enjoying God's creation.

David Roland

The most beautiful lake ive ever seen

Raul Baena

Incredible, sensational, irresistible, awesome... It's a magical place and same day I'll be back.

Jim Parker

Great place to camp, hike, canoe & kayak! We camped last weekend at campsite #40, (campsite had water & electricity) and the campsite as well as the other campsites in the Squirrel Haven Camping Area had long driveways – apparently setup as an overflow area for RV’ers. The advantage from a tent camper’s perspective is our campsite was 100ft or so away from the road so we were not bothered by cars driving nearby. It is also in a small loop, which limited the number of cars driving by as well! On Friday afternoon, we hiked the Caddo Forest Trail which was very well marked and had well-maintained trails and bridges! On Friday night, participated in the Ranger led Frog program in the Pavilion which lasted ~30 min. which was very informative and entertaining! The PowerPoint slides included audio files of the frogs and the Ranger had all of us attempt to “recreate” the frog noises ourselves – which was in itself very entertaining! We brought our Grand Daughter and it was one of the highlights of her experience at the park! On Saturday, we went Kayaking though suggest that you purchase a map at the State Park gift shop and bring your smartphone (in a waterproof case) to ensure that you can return safely – as all of the moss-covered cypress trees look the same after awhile and it is very, very easy to get lost on the water! Warning: I am by no means an expert, but I believe that I saw poison-ivy throughout our campsite and hiking areas, (3 leaves – leave it be!) so if you go – be sure to watch what you’re touching! Great Texas State Park and I plan to return soon!

erica Tillman

This place was beautiful . Very quiet and peaceful. My husband caught a 6 lb bass right off the boat launch. Water is very clear

Debbie Wade

The recent rains flooded out much of the park, but what we got to explore was beautiful and peaceful. We will return when it is safe to put our kayaks in.

Patsy Whatley

Close to home, pretty woods and trails.

Jessica Burnham-Hinton

Great cabins built by the CCC. They come complete with linens and AC, but no kitchen utensils or dishes. A pretty place in the pones.

Mudit Nilosey

We spent a night here in camp. It's beautiful.

Blazius

Caddo Lake State Park is a nice visit. It's interesting to see the swamps and the cypress trees and all the vegetation. If you're a photographer like me, you definitely need to add this place to your landscape and portfolio. The cabins at Caddo Lake are nice to stay in and not very expensive. There are some awesome boat tours too. It's the largest natural lake in Texas, so you've got to experience it. Go today!

Roman B

This place is a great get away! Always something to do. Kayaking, camping, hiking, fishing, beautiful place.

Lin Yang

We went to the park on Christmas Eve, and they still open. The entrance fee is $4.00/person. We went there for hiking, and drove pass several cabins inside the park. The trail is pretty easy, typical mountain trail, no much to see. The picnic area is nearby the lake. We feel like it might not be the best spot to enjoy the full beauty of the lake.

Kristy McKeown

Peaceful, quiet camping. Good sized lots. Enjoyable walking trails.

William Lanigan III

I give this rating prospectively base on the fact that the State of Texas is redoing and upgrading 90 percent of the park. The park, in the past and in the future, offers cabins, camping, lake access, canoe rentals, and fishing withi the park does not require a license. The park seems well managed and staffed. Great for short hikes, fishing, and camping. Caddo Lake boat tours are available and fun, a great place for a day or a weekend.

Wonderful park

Not a happy camper ---- I just called the Caddo Lake State Park to ask if I could circle through the park with a group of 18 students from Shreveport after field trip to Jefferson --- all of my students are English language learners and have lived in this country for less than three years on average --- I was told we would have to pay a $3.00 fee per student to enter ---- that would be $66.00 dollars for a 15 minute cruise through the park -- I want to share all the world with my kids --- I grew up in Marshall and have spent many happy days at the park for over 60 years --- I know there are rules but for 15 minutes they could be broken -- I will continue to visit the park because it is such a beautiful location -- but it won't be the same --- I am disappointed ---
