Had a really good time here, shopping and checking out all the stores. We were able to get some really nice souvenirs, they were not very expensive at all. The day we visited has been the hottest day of our vacation so far, thankfully there was many places to get drinks and many options, the lemonade stand was my favorite. The only suggestion I would have is to maybe have some seating inside of the stores, so you could sit in air conditioning out of the heat, while your family and friends shop. There is many place to sit outside, and the rocking chairs aroumd the water feature are awesome, we liked them so much we want to know where to buy a couple to take home with us. Every one was so friendly, and we were talking to everyone. Had some great trip suggestions from other tourists. This area makes everyone so friendly and in this heat is really something else.

Great place to enjoy the day. They have amusement rides for kids and adults, including a gigantic Ferris wheel with enclosed cars. Many shops and treats, restaurants and novelty stores. Free parking and a free tram picks you up and drops you off! Great fun for the day.

Loved this place. The environment alone was exciting. We went around 9pm and walked around to see what attractions the kids would enjoy. There is enough to give you a good evening of thrills. Cant wait to go back and try out the 7d adventure. The water fountain, ferris wheel and lights makes it so appealing to just sit and watch. Only draw back would be the shops closing at 11:40 versus midnight. Guess they're ready to get home. I'll just get there earlier next time!

As day turned to night and the lights came on, the island became a magical place to explore. I walked around, poked my head in some stores, ate at Mellow Mushroom and took many photos to capture the evening. The only thing I didn't appreciate in the long run was the deceptive practices of those at information booths who are really trying to scam you with timeshares.

The island is a great place for kids and adults alike! For the kiddos, there's lots of rides and plenty of arcade games. For the adults, there's plenty to see and "drink". It can get a little pricey I suppose, but then again, that's what we save money for when we go on vacation, right? If you like a carnival style atmosphere, then you'll like the Island at Pigeon Forge.

I loved it because everything is close together and not spread out. You can see everything without it wearing you out. There are many different shops, restaurants and activities for those of all ages. Many benches and chairs all throughout if you need a break. We rode the big wheel and we could see everything on the island and more. Free parking and a shuttle to take you to the island.

First time visiting the Island although I've been in Pigeon Forge many times. Many cute little shops. Offers a shuttle to and from the stores. Also has entertainment games available and a ferris wheel if you would like to see the sights. Food variety is amazing, should be able to find something everyone will enjoy.

Lots of shops, eateries and activities for kids and adults. Live music outside one bar. Dancing fountains with music play every half hour. Lights are visible at night. Also the ferris wheel is enclosed and air conditioned. Considering that Pigeon Forge broke high temp records all week, it was refreshing. Tram picks you up in the parking lot and delivers you to the one end of the park.

Amazing Christmas Beauty!!! Loved it!!! Christmas all year round...they have lots to do from shopping to rides, restaurants, pubs and it's fun for all ages. You have to pay individually for the rides.

We had a meeting at the Island and all the folks there were SUPER nice & helpful. We asked them for a scavenger hunt for our staff to do for team building and all the workers and patrons helped our folks and our staff loved the activity. In addition, we ate lunch at Timberwood Grill-one of our people spilled their drink into their plate and the wait staff were quick to help and then gave her a new entree.

Went on our 1st vacation to pigeon forge here. Although the place is nice and the rooftop pool and bar is the best thing about the island to me. For the cost of a room per night you would be better off staying in a regular hotel and coming to visit this place. You'll save more than 50% on your vacation that way. Rooms are way expensive and nothing really special about them.

Fun but gets expensive. Also our 3 year old looked like he just made the 36" line but it was hit or miss for them letting him on rides. Some attendents didn't question and others refused to let him ride. If you have a little one double check where on the line they need to hit before deciding what they can ride.

This place is a one stop shop. There is so much to do and it's centrally located to everything. If your plans are to go I would suggest a room view of the shops or fountain. And if you're looking for somewhere to eat The Old Mill Pottery is awesome. There are two, The Old Mill Pottery and Old Mill Pottery Restaurant. Old Mill Pottery is the bees knees.

This is one of my favorite places to visit when I go to Pigeon Forge. I just go to sit next to the fountain and watch the lights. It's the most relaxing place I know. The stores around are definitely worth the trip by themselves, but the light show adds to the experience. Be sure to stop by! Free parking and free trolley up if you don't want to walk.

So many things to see and do. Very kid friendly! If you have children I highly recommend getting the wristband that includes the jungle course. My little one stayed on it for 3 hours while my significant other and I took turns "sampling" beverages ;-)

Awesome place to visit. Many people visit. There are many shops very unique. I specially liked the shop with bags which have your initials printed in front of you, spicy sauces and salsa, magic shops and so many different kind of unique shops. Waterfountians are awesome during night and they have swinging chairs too in front of water fountains to sit and relax. Overall awesome place to visit. Free parking and free entry.

Fun but really expensive. The rides aren't really worth it. The Ferris wheel alone is $15 per person. The kids has fun on the ropes course, but it's also pricey. The restaurants and shopping were great.

Free parking! Free admission! I paid $30 for an "unlimited pass" for my 3 year old. The best part? I was able to ride for free on the rides that required supervision for her height/weight. More places need to do this! I had no interest in rides for myself and just wanted to be sure my kid had a great time, and she absolutely did! The grounds, the atmosphere, and the staff were all lovely. This was our best outing of our entire vacation!

Really clean and fun place. We were staying at the Margaritaville Island Inn and you could walk right to this place from there. Lots of places to eat and shop plus a cool fountain that does water shows with music in the middle. Rocking chairs all around to sit and watch. Lots of rides for kids but these were super expensive so we skipped.

All the shops were very clean, nice, and brand new. A great place to go see shop and eat, if you have enough money. It is another tourist trap in the middle of Pigeon Forge. If you like spending money in Pigeon Forge, then this is a great place to go.

This is a fun area to visit. Restaurants, shops, moonshine tasting, and even amusement park type rides for the little kids. The dancing water show is cool, but better to watch at night with all the lights. Parking is free and there are trams to take you from the parking area to the main part of the island.

Awesome. ......love the shops, it's best at night if u want to see the water fountain light up & dance to the sound of music. They have a puzzle shop within The Island, anywhere from small puzzles to a few that have over 52,000 pieces ( in which case that particular ones sells for $600), 3d puzzles & sculpture puzzles. There is 4 different candy shops....in which 2 of them have other souvenirs within their shop. Magic store, Bodacious Bags...for the woman that loves purses & bags, Emery 5-10 ( means Emery 5 & dime).....great store! Carousel, train ride & a mechanical ride for the kids. Mirror Maze, The Toy chest & many more great shops.

I love that every half an hour they have and amazing water show with great music, the lights from the water is incredible. The shops there are always fully and very well priced. Stop into the puzzle store and help put one together, or buy one. It's always a fun time.

This place is incredible. Clean, fun, friendly staff. Most kids rides allow a chaperone to ride for free. Knowing this, we took advantage of the Unlimited Kids Rides (we have a 5yo and 3yo) for $30. This price includes tax! So it was $60 for my family to enjoy 48 hours of fun. To take full advantage of this price, we purchased our tickets at night, after dinner, and rode till they closed at 10. Then we came back the next day, and again the next day! Basically 3 days of rides for $30/child. That's an incredible deal. And the rides are a blast. There are some things that the wrist bands don't cover, like the arcade and the Mirror Maze. Also, for the chaperone to ride the wheel, that costs extra but was so worth the night ride. My family will be back here every year till our kids are too big. I would give this place all the stars in the sky.

Ant time my family is in pigeon forge we make a point to stop at the island. Theres plenty of stores for shopping. Tons of rides and fun things for the family to partake in. I love the ole smokey distillery. There is a fully lit fountain area that has water shows and is surrounded by rocking chairs to sit and watch! Beautiful scenic area to shop and play.

The Island is a great tourist attraction. However, on the day we went (mid August) it was very, very hot. A lady suffered a seizure or heat stroke and low and behold~there is no first aid station on the island! No wheel chairs, nothing to assist with an incident like that. She was carried to her car on a plastic chair from the arcade and recovered. However, management should consider some type of first aid station there.

You should get there early parking lot fills up quick. This is a great place to visit lots of shops. Lots of sitting room around the foutain. Only problem is in late spring and summer there is no shade or umbrellas to sit under. But over all nice relaxing place to visit shops, hosts and other workers around the grounds were nice and helpful.

You park your car and ride a tram over to the park. Fist stop is at the fountain that sprays water choreographed to music with lights. It was fun during the day so I can imagine that it's fantastic at night. There are lots of stores to wander around in plus places to get a bite to eat. There are lots of things for kids to do. There is the 7D attraction, ferris wheel, maze attraction and lots of other little rides. They are pretty proud f the rides so be prepared to spend a pretty penny, but admission and parking are free so that makes up for it a little.

We found this place on our last say in Pigeon Forge! I wish we would have seen it before our last day we would have spent a lot more time there. This is a great place to take your family and go shopping or just hanging out! In the middle of this place has a water fountain that it is set up with color and to music it is absolutely amazing!

This is a fun place to go and see some unique shops and they have a few rides for the kids. They have several restaurants including Dick's last resort and Margaritaville. They also have a quick service Mellow Mushroom. We really enjoyed the Savannah Bee Store, the Puzzle store and a General Store that had some unique items. If can get expensive if you do everything in that area they have Mirror Mazes, Laser tag, and Old Time photo shops. The big ride attraction is their Ferris Wheel and it is really nice with a good view. It is $12 per person though you can find a coupon for $2 off. They also have a ride all day and come back the next for $30 that includes the wheel and some other rides but they are better for kids. Not a bad deal if you are okay with spending some time there. Definitely try to come in the evening once and watch the fountain show at the Island. There are lot of chairs to sit in and watch and it occurs often. The day is cool too but you can't see the light effects.

Great place to shop, sit by the fountain and enjoy the water shows put on. Those are even more amazing at night with the lights that go with it. Bills Lemonade is the best lemonade I've had anywhere. I've previously rode The Wheel, I personally am scared of heights, so it was kinda scary for me, but the view is amazing, so if heights don't bother you, you will love it. The tram ride to and from the parking lot is nice, open air tram. There's plenty of fun, great food & great shops.

The Island is a must visit when staying in Pigeon Forge. There's something there for everyone. The Ole Smoky store and offers samples and so does Bootleggers Winery. The restaurant s are great, including Paula Deen's restaurant. There are rides for the kids, Shoppes for the adults and an amazing musical fountain show.

We stayed 5 nights and ended up walking there every night just to take in the atmosphere. Ride the giant wheel.. Get a bratwurst.. Taste test some moonshine.. Relax :)

First time going for a concert at the Island right in front of old smokey moonshine what a perfect nite to see the band Tonic. It started at 7:30 so it wasn't to hot there was a nice breeze we were surrounded by all the lights from the the 200 ft Ferris wheel & the fountains that light up and dance to music. Love all the different unique shops to check out. Got to meet a parrot from parrot island. You can take trolley from parking area to the island. Perfect trip

Back In April 2019, my family and I went to “The Island At Pigeon Forge” because I saw the huge Ferris Wheel at a distance and wanted to go. It was definitely not planned whatsoever but I am happy that we went. There is a lot of “free parking” with “Trams” going from the parking lot area to the “Island “

Loved this place. If you are in pegion forge, you gotta visit this place. Specially during the evening time. You can take a trolley here from the parking and sit around the beautiful colourful fountian. The fountain has a musical show every hour and closes at 11pm. There is a lot of shopping places around and its all fun. Nice place to relax after a long day of sight seeing. It is usually busy during the evening time and hard to find a parking spot.

Fun place for everyone. There's some kids activities and rides and a big ferris wheel where you can see the whole city. Don't miss the Distillery and moonshine tasting or any of the shops throughout the island. Makes for a great day or evening

$10 bucks for 18holes of mini golf. Nothing crazy nothing bad. We played the Gold course. We never lost a ball, but if you have small children, it is easy to lose your ball in the water and you have to walk back to the front to get a new ball. Not a big deal to us. But just something to keep in mind. I don’t know if the other course is easier and since we didn’t have children with us they sent us to a harder one. Maybe...I don’t know The guy at the counter was nice. They have a TRAIN of sorts for the kids that is VERY cool. I would say great time and worth the money if you are trying to spend quality time with the family. Finally, it was crowded. They do not hold you up to make sure you start at different times. So it backs up and sometimes they have no shaded areas. I was sweating but they had drink machines up front where you start. Either way, I had fun and so did our family! We would go back to play the other course.

Are you a window shopper? Then visit The Island and you will be in heaven..lol It has everything you didn't know you were looking for and more. Wonderful restaurants for the more classy to the family classics depending on what you are hungry for. The Teens/Kids have so much they can do here! The Island Rope Course, Escape Game, Mirror Maze, Island Express Train and the 200 foot tall Ferris Wheel.

Beautiful location. This is one the ultimate shopping places in Piegon Forge. Plus, there is a lot for the little ones to do. Make sure to grab some local wine and beef jerky to take with you on the trip.

First thing noticed was just how clean The Island was! Plenty to do to keep the kids entertained, plenty of restaurants (gtd to find something to satisfy all appetites), many shops to browse (including children toy, puzzle and magic). Fantastic water show every half hour, set to music and lights (at night). Plenty of clean restrooms throughout The Island! Security is visible and helpful. Just make sure you have plenty of patience, The Island is a very popular destination, very large parking area(free) and trams to take you to entrance. Big crowds=patience!

Great place to bring your whole family. Little rides for smaller kids, and shops for adults and teens. Tons of little places to eat, and to just grab a quick snack at. There is a tram that travels back and forth from the parking lot and main shopping center.

Always love coming here! Not too many eateries did try to eat behind you come unless you have a plan and doubt mind waiting in line. We prefer to eat, then go to the island for treats and the water show. Grab seats if you plan on watching the dancing water, nothing line close up and you hear the music better and less distraction. Shops are still neat and a few new ones since last visit. Tram car and free parking too!

It's a really fun place for the family! There are colorful lights all over. The water fountains are amazing, they move to the beat of the music. We paid $30 per person for a 48 hour pass. My 9 year old son absolutely loved it! It's pretty much his first time riding these types of rides. He was scared before now. It's open until midnight. They have lots of shops.

It was so nice. From parking to the very back where not many park to riding the trolley to the beautiful dancing water fountain. We did the sky wheel $14 for adult and $9 for kids but look in the coupon books and you can find $2 off. The islands it self was kept very well cleaned. I seen several workers sweeping very quickly and bathrooms was nice.

Free admission. Free parking. Great atmosphere. Everyone is so helpful & friendly. There are games, rides, and rocking chairs to just kick back to watch the water fountain show. There is a broad selection of shops, restaurants, hotels and bars. The great thing is that no one is out of control and it isn't a "bar crawl." Trams are in the parking area so you don't have to walk and good handicap parking. It really is fun for the whole family. Something for everyone. The ferris wheel is spectacular!

This is a reasonably new attraction in Pigeon Forge and its contemporary in appearance and has some interesting stores and restaurants. The signature attraction is the Ferris Wheel and there is a pretty chilled out area where you can relax by the fountains. I was delighted with the 'comic book' style store there. I was able to get a classic Cylon Centurion action figure! There is plenty of parking, but be prepared to park a good distance away at peak times. Luckily there is a train shuttle to take you to your parking space if you are far away!

The Island contains a large variety of activities including shopping, dining, amusement/recreational activities as well as lodging. The center attraction is the fountain show. The fountain displays particular shows for music and is changed every 30 to 60 minutes. The Island is attractive with landscaping, fountains and walkways. Amusement activities are available for younger visitors and shopping and dining for adult visitors. Parking is free at the Island. You may walk the distance or take a tram ride to/from the parking lot. Remember to add sales tax to attractions (Tennessee sale tax: 9.75% & dining/food tax various slightly).

Lots of shopping, food and fun things for the kids to do. Plus moonshine tasting for the adults. But plan to spend some money! The water fountain show out front is so beautiful and a great tourist attraction to just sit and relax.

It is so pretty at night. You have to go by and watch the light show at the fountain. The best part is it's absolutely free. The Island also offers many places to shop and dine. They also have rides for children and adults. Just all around good family fun.

Lots of shops, restaurants and activities to do. The water fountain show synched to music is better viewed in the evening when you can see the light show with it. Worth a visit. Parking can be a challenge, however they do have trolley stops in parking lots as they are quite a distance from the entertainment district of The Island

Visited here briefly in July 2019. The attractions seemed a bit overpriced to me at $15 per person to ride the Farris wheel. Parking was a bit hard to come by as well but they did offer shuttle service from the parking lot which was nice. Lots of shopping and food choices as well. Clean, safe, family friendly, and lots to see and do.

Pigeon Forge is beautiful, clean, fun-packed, exciting and there truely is something for everyone. The Island's dancing water fountains are mesmerizing, surrounded by large comfortable chairs for viewing the sites. The lighting is so pretty! Even the bridge changes brilliant colors. Not even a rainy day can spoil Pigeon Forge!

We spent the whole evening here and loved it! Every half hour, the musical fountain performs to a couple different songs. At night, there are lights so it’s even better to watch! We relaxed around the fountain quite a few times as we walked around. There are many little shops to stop into and places to get a bite to eat. The best part was the live music at night! They had an amazing bluegrass band called Po Ramblin Boys so we ended the night with great entertainment!
