Anakeesta is a new attraction and it was worth the $21.99 apiece that we spent. There's probably coupons to get in cheaper if you know about it ahead of time. You take a 4 person chairlift to the top of the mountain. They also have a few fully enclosed tram like cars you can take up. Once at the top their have a few nice restaurants and shops. There are great views of the mountain from thier Garden Vista. There is an area with several suspension bridges between trees. I highly recommend doing it at night when they have some lighting that makes it look like thousands of fireflies. Your wristband gives you access all day. We went up once during the day and went up again just before sunset. It was a great place to be if you weren't in the park. I highly recommend it. We don't do a lot of tourist attractions because we are normally hiking, but this was a great experience.

Aaron Miller

Had an awesome time up there. There is a restaurant/bar where you can sit down and eat with incredible views! Their is also Zip Lining, a neat string of bridges and a cool coaster to ride. It is a little pricey but worth going up and checking it out.

Belinda Urso

The views were beautiful. You must try a beaver tail. Willo tree makes for a memorable picture. Tree top canopy was fun. Botanical garden was gorgeous. We went early and saw everything in less than 2 hours. Zip lining looked fun but we didn't partake. We also did not ride the rail runner.

Jim Gouvan

Wow what a great experience. From the ride up the mountain to the role bridge walk it was a great day up there. Lots at the top to eat and drink and superb views, gardens and waterfalls. Lots of pictures opportunities. Must go!

Adam Cogburn

A neat place to visit. The ride up on the lift is relaxing and the views are great when you get to the top. They have a kids play area and a garden to stroll through. We also enjoyed the swinging bridge canopy walk which is also free.

Timothy Harris

This was funnier than I first thought. My wife convinced me to go. A chair lift ride to the top takes about 15 minutes. They do have some gondolas you can take. There are some great views on the way up and down. There is a whole little town like setting at the top of the mountain. There is a zipline ride that has several different legs that bring you halfway down the mountain where you hop onto a gondola and ride back up. They had a concert area with live music playing. There are cool statues to pose with. A kids area for the little ones. And to me the coolest part was the suspension bridge trail in the tops is the trees!

R

The view is AMAZING and the food is delicious. The playground in the trees is a lot of fun. Lots to do!

Andy Shade

Wow great views. Lots of fun. Good food and drinks. Fun for the whole family.

Tracy Chapman

If you are afraid of heights take the chondola. This place was amazing! The kids had so much fun playing in the connected tree houses, walking all of the rope bridges, and swinging on the bench swings at the top. The view is beautiful and was totally worth the trip! My kids were too small to do the zipline or the rail runner, but they still had a blast! Loved it!

Ivan Perez

Lovely park to vist with friends or family.. makes a perfect dating place. The zipline is well worth it. The gravity carts are not so munch. Walking around and viewing the sights is pretty cool. The restaurant is really good as well!

Shawn Cox

It was fun but overpriced. They have to charge for parking or their parking lot would be full all the time but a free parking validation should be included with what they charge to get in. You essentially give up a day at the National Park to be here. If you feel like your family needs something "extra" to enjoy the wilderness this is a nice compromise.

Kelly McCabe

We enjoyed the view, the walk thru the woods on suspension bridges and platforms was unique. Plenty to do one you got to the top. If you want a drink...I suggest getting a smoothie (teal airstream by the beer garden) it was delicious.

Rick Howell

Fun scenic place, a little pricey and the zip line is single rider only. Tree top bridges were cool and the mountain coaster was fun. Restaurant food was decent.

Monica Sprecher

This place is amazing. It is a must do. It is beautiful, clean, and the shops on top of the mountain are reasonable. This is ultimate family fun, but maybe not for strollers.

vince baronti

Great view of the mountains and city. Truck or lift option to get to the top. Nice treetop walkway. Restaurant had great nachos and a few local brews available. Garden had some interesting wood art.

K Ofenloch

Excellent views- beautiful garden, and amazing tree canopy walk! Loved every minute! Went after 6pm and they let you come back with the same wristband the next day. Zip lining and coaster are more money, but even without that, it was an excellent excursion!

Shaun Clark

Gatlinburg never ceases to impress us. Anakeesta, you are beautiful and my family loves you. It's the one stop shop. My kids has a blast. My wife, myself, and my mother and father in law all felt like kids again after chasing the children through the multiple rope Bridges, and the children's obstacle course. The roller coaster was icing on the cake.

Christine Jacobs

Several members of our group enjoyed their experience at Anakeesta. From what I was told great views, and a lot of fun to be had up the ski lift. They each and every one said that they would definitely do it again. They spent about an hour and a half to 2 hours in all and was able to do everything that they wanted. I would rate with a 5 star rating but I myself did not have the experience. So to he fair, I am Providing a 4 star rating based on the feedback of our group that did partake.

Safdar Mirza

It was a very long time (long lines) but at the end it is all worth. The place is so beautiful with natural beauty. There is only one food truck up on top so if you are hungry, you will wait very long for food. Make sure you have your camera and video recorder ready. This place has awesome natural beauty.

TBI-Guy Speaks

Absolutely beautiful and fun. The zip line was one armed friendly and also had repelling... Awesome

DeAnna Myers

Between the amazing sky lift (you can choose between two different kinds to ride up in), the tree top canopies, the beautiful gardens, the zip lining and the mountain coaster, this place is amazing for families! We had a great time, even in the rain!

Paul Wojtkowski

$12 for parking, $44 for 2 tickets (used AAA $5 discount) otherwise 49. 3 hour visit good super 15 minute lift up/down mountain with nice views. Food a bit pricey, ice cream good and decent price @ Pearls. Botanical garden well done. Tree canopy walk nice. Zip was about 30 & rail coaster was 13 didnt do either.

Cynthia Hunter

So cool to take the lift up to the mountain. We were able to see a momma bear with her three cubs. Worth the fee to get up there

Carol Hicks

LOVED our visit. We went after 5 so it was not so hot. FANTASTIC views, BEAUTIFUL gardens. We had dinner with breathtaking views, a nice mountain breeze blowing and the food was great. Large portions for your money. The only issue I had was having to stand in a very long line to place our orders. With such a beautiful setting and delicious food it would be nice to sit down, relax, enjoy the views and be waited on at your table. The fire pit was going once the sun went down and that was very enjoyable. Cute litle shops, everything is so clean and well kept. My nephew LOVED the tree houses. I highly recommend Anakeesta. We would do it again.

Country Boy

Great place to visit. We love this place. If my review helps you in any way can you PLEASE leave me a thumbs up like on my review. Thank you.

Jonathan Russell

Great place to visit. You can see the devastation from the wild fires. They really have made it beautiful there again. Must see when you go there. Loved it!!!

BLAZEtheFURNACE

Amazing views. Loved the skylift ride up there. The bar & drinks were amazing!!

Tom May

Great place to experience a variety of views of Gatlinburg and the mountains. Rope bridge through the trees was fun! Didn't do the zip line but based on the screams we heard from folks it must be a blast. Beer was good, food good for snacking. Could spend a good portion of the day relaxing and enjoying the activities up here.

Susan Parker

Very hot day! Took too long to get up and down the mountain. Once we were there it was very cute and pleasant. More misting fans would have been helpful.

Donna Marie

Great fun for the family. The ski lift ride up the mountain was relaxing and beautiful. The playground kept my granddaughter occupied for a long time. There are a number of places to eat and shop at. My granddaughter loved panning for gold for a small fee. Reasonably priced fun for the family.

maritza cadena

Fun place to visit with kids while in Gatlinburg! Kids really enjoyed it and its priced about the same as other places around. The tree bridge and zip line was a favorite. If you get there after 6pm, you get to return the next day for free :)

Sharon A Owens

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Save the money you would spend at Hatfield and McCoy's and go here. The views are breathtaking. The food at Cliff Top Grill is tasty. Go on Friday they stay open later. A beer / cocktail with your sweetie as the sun sets over the mountain is worth the trip.

Tilly

Go early for no wait lines. My boyfriend and I arrived before 11 and found quick parking, took the chair lift to the top, and had some great views. We grabbed some “beaver tail” sweet fried treats and rose the rail coaster! It was fun!! We didn’t wait in ANY lines and had the whole chair lift to ourselves- never passed another person! On our way down about two hours later every chair was full.

Edward Landenwitsch

Great attraction. It starts with an amazing sky lift ride to the top. The views of Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas are beautiful. The park at the top has a mountain coaster, a rope bridge tree house course suspended high in the trees. There are many other things to do. They also shops and restaurants. You can spend the whole day there. It's well worth the price of admission.

Tucker Seese

It was awesome Angel and her group were amazing and were comforting when one person in our group got scared. We will definitely be coming back to ride with her group again

Andy H

Amazing place. It was our first time there couple of months ago. We had great time. They have restaurants up there as well as kids playgrounds. We had lunch and dinner with amazing views. Definitely go up there when they open and spend entire day there.

Ron Johnson

Had so much fun, we had to go back, again! The weather was a lot better in the afternoon, not disappointed! Definitely worth the second trip up the mountain!

Bruce A. Johnson

A little overpriced for a lift up to a mountain, but we had a pretty decent time. The kids enjoyed traversing through the trees on rope bridges and the zip line looked fun (although we didn't do it... $$$).

Jonathan Warren

Anakeesta is beautiful. The gardens, views from the mountain top and the suspended walk made for an incredibly relaxing visit. Railrunner was a blast, I love coasters but this was an incredibly different type of coaster. Give it a shot you will NOT be disappointed!

Andrew Palmer

Staff was friendly, and it's not a bad price to ride up the mountain for the great views. They have added a really beautiful garden area since I came last year! Also there are a few food and drink options. Liquor, Wine, and Beer available; beer you can walk around with.

Ginger Staton

Treetop walk is fun! Vista Garden is peaceful, Quiet with relaxing music in the background. Play areas for kids. Dueling Zipline and mountain rail coaster for the more adventurous. We had a great time.

Patricia Barboza

We went yesterday with an 11 years old and a 8 years old. We had the best time. The place is beautiful and the staff were very kind. Zipline was the best part. It totally worthy.

Roy Wolfe

Awesome place to spend the day or night. Spectacular views. Loved the roller coaster. Ride at your own speed. Everything there is great.

Angel Childress

We went kind of late but its was really pretty with the lights and it was decorated for fall and Halloween. We went through the tree bridges loved it!

Tracy Mishler

Chair lift is good. The park up top has several activities, some included in the price and some are extra. Really hot up top in the summer.

Mark Ross

I love this place especially at night! But during the day it's beautiful ,you can sit in the rocking chairs and feel the breeze! There cheese fries there at the restaurant, excellent! The ice cream from The Little Shop was really good! I love the bridge in the trees it was good exercise!

Shasta Parks

A very unique theme park you have to take a Sky Lift to get to it and it's on the top of a mountain once you get up there you are able to walk across a rope Bridge that is through the tops of the trees it was great to see some of the wildlife on both the sky left and the Rope Bridge it was a very experienced and I am glad that I got to do it. I do hope to visit again sometime very soon

Kahleela Blake

Excellent views, pleasant staff, multiple food options, well maintained grounds, so much to see and do! Wonderful whether having alone time, going with the whole family or a group of friends! Perfect spot for great photo opps, lots of fun and/or even relaxation (plenty of rocking chairs to enjoy the majestic views)!

Macy Rea

My husband and I went Zip Lining for our anniversary and we had a blast. I’m terrified of heights but our guides were awesome as was the rest of the staff. The Vista Gardens are beautiful and so is the view of the mountains. I 100% recommend if you’re visiting Gatlinburg!!

Annette Hester

This place was fun! We had the ride up and down the mountain side which took about 20 minutes each way. The lush trees and flowers were beautiful! We had lunch there and the food was a very generous serving size and tasted great! We enjoyed the walking areas we went to, the shops and eating places. We would go again if we go back to that area.

brienna knieriem

The little chair lift is fun and has a good view. Once you get the wristbands you can go up and down as many times. At the time there is a nice little sit down place you eat/ bar. There are also food trucks. A nice look out spot. Peaceful sitting locations. And a tree top walk. They also have zip lining and a mountain 'coaster'. The coaster was pretty fun to go down.

Randy Hise

We loved anakeesta. The zip lining was our favorite thing to do. But the kids did love the rail runner.

Dana Biederman

Awesome views. The restaurant was amazing. Great food and super friendly and helpful bar tender.

Tabatha Robbins

It had beautiful views on the way up and especially from the top. The rope bridge tree top walk was very cool. The zip line was very fun but too short and too expensive as an additional price to the admission tickets. The gardens were OK, but along with most of the place it just seemed unfinished. It was very expensive and we didn't feel like we got our money's worth.

Megan Rizzo

This place was gorgeous! The lift ride was nice and relaxing and once you get to the top there's plenty to do there with little kids. Also all the staff was so kind and helpful.

Dionne Fields

Anakeesta Outdoor Theme park is one of our favorite places to visit. This amazing outdoor theme park is the largest adventure park in the smoky mountains. We like to walk on the tree canopy walk and sight seeing all the beautiful animals around the Great Smoky Mountains.

Emily Bishop

This place was so much fun! The atmosphere is amazing. Gorgeous views all over and the zip lining was a blast. It was my first time zip lining and let me tell you the guides are fantastic. They made us feel at ease and were so much fun.

Thomas Bailey

I hope they have a better plan to get people off the mountain if there was ever a true emergency. Visited on July 11, 2019 and a storm rolled in and we were on the hilltop while lightning was all around us. The lift was shut down and it was pouring down rain. very little shelter and took several hours to even get back down the hill to a safe place.

Charles Childers

Pretty cool experience. Would be nice to visit in every season. The ride up and down is great.

Anne Marie Dando

This was nice given the scenery but this is a pricey experience. The ski lift is a bit scary as you are not locked in and it takes a while to get up and back down. The lift keeps stopping. Take the truck up if you are not good with heights. The fall decorations were beautiful! Food is expensive but I will say the portions are very generous. Not enough shaded seating. The vendors were very nice.

Kim Condon

We loved spending the day at Anakeesta! Lots for the kids to do as well as adults. Very relaxed vibe in a beautiful setting. Everything was clean and the staff members were friendly and professional. One of a kind experience!

Austin B.

Anakeesta is great for seeing the green mountains around Gatlinburg. The Blue Bell ice cream is amazing, and the overnight smoked brisket makes my mouth water now thinking about it. Sometimes it rains at the top, but they give out free ponchos to keep you dry.

Mara Ward

The whole place was awesome, but I really want to brag on the zip line crew (Dylan, Tatum, and Tyler). I am horrifically scared of heights, but they were so nice to me and helpful and understanding. Yes I cried at first, but instead of rolling their eyes, they got me through it. Awesome team!

Matthew Crosslin

Had lots of fun. The ski lift was pretty unnerving because they stop every so often and the chairs sway. I'm scared of heights so it's more of a me problem. But the place was great

Anthony Orue

Loved this place!! We came to Gatlinburg for our 20th anniversary and wanted to do something memorable. We zip-lined and Darryl and Alec made our experience wonderful. I was terrified but they made it so much fun!!! Will definitely comeback. Thanks again!!!!

Karthikeyan RC

Do not buy tickets online. The online ticket redemption counter is very very slow and the people on the regular line goes much easier and faster. Also they try to up well the tickets and which takes long time :(

Robb Brewer

We had a fantastic experience! The employees were courteous and professional, the attractions were well displayed, and the food was delicious and plentiful. Definitely worth the time and money for the experience. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Irma Behm

This place was great! The tree top bridge was a great sight, the gardens were beautiful and the ride up is very scenic. I also went on the coaster don't use the breaks and you'll get the thrill of your life!

Robert Staton

Wife and I went there as we had never been. It was fun and relaxing. We did the garden and the treetop rope bridges. We enjoyed the mountain view. We also did the memorial walk about the Gatlinburg fire. We did not eat at the restaurants (most are like food trucks). If we go back, we will try the Alpine sleds. Overall a pleasant experience.

olivia hadden

We had a blast!! It is beautiful!! Not for those afraid of heights though, if your too scared or traveling with small children and can't do the "open" chair lift up you may hesitate, the wait for "enclosed" cab is 2x longer. Also I noticed a lack of handicapped access , but we did see a "mountain rambler" option that was coming but not available in our day!! My kids and I LOVED it though!!

Nicolas Natale

Really cool spot to visit. Much different than the amusement park type locations in the area. This space is very tranquil and makes you feel at ease when viewing the smokies.

Darrell Pace

Nice ride up. Very pretty scenery. Next time I will plan better to allow time for zip line!

Dalia Cano

I really appreciate Shawn for taking care of us while we waited to get on the chair lift. He was very sociable and humorous, which is a good thing because that helps people that may be a bit nervous getting on the lift. Other than that we had a good time and loved your Gardens/Fall Decorations and ice cream more than anything.

Queen Moomba

It's a huuuge tourist trap. Don't get the wrong it's fun but there is more areas to zip line that are cheaper and you're not dealing with disrespectful tourists leaving their trash everywhere. Gravity coaster is legit.

Jay Earl

A new up and coming attraction with something for every age. For the adventurous, a zip line. There is a suspension rope bridge, small shops, gardens and coffee as well as other food trucks.

Debi Melancon

Beautiful and peaceful ride up to the top. Pricing is designed so that if you can add zip lining and the rail ride to the ticket if you want... but it isnt required. The rope bridge across the trees was terrific!

Bethany Pierce

Very beautiful scenery at the mountain top! Various cool ways to get to the mountain top. I loved that because I am afraid of heights. This a must visit in Gatlinburg. And the price was very reasonable

Brad Tutterow

Worth the price of admission for the fun ride to the top, the amazing views, and strolling around the gardens and tree-walk. Fun ride up the mountain but the safety restraints are made for adults and do not lock. Hang on to those kids. At the top, the views are fantastic. The usual gift shops and coffee shops. The gravity coaster is fun but over quickly. Zip-lining is well done. The tree-walk is amazing.

Dustin Ewers

Hour wait between getting tickets and waiting for enclosed lift. If you have kids, or a disability where you need an enclosed lift instead of a chair, expect to wait a while. Food at the top was great, but the drinks were warm. Neat to see, but we won't do it again. Definitely more adult orientated.

Rachel Pugh

Long wait for an enclosed lift. The truck ride wasn’t bad at all. Not enough restaurants... only 2 that serve food other than pastries, beer or coffee so the lines at both took 45 minutes. My kids enjoyed the playhouse, but it wasn’t worth the wait and amount of money we paid for our family of 5. It was clean and had great views, but I don’t think we’ll be back.

mitchell crowe

This is a must to thing in Gatlinburg. Those who are afraid of heights is a White knuckle trip.. however I'm a next tree trimmer so the height is not scary to me. for those who don't want to do the sky lift. When you purchase your tickets ask about the ridge rambler and if you can write it up instead of taking the sky lift. I'm sure they will let you.awesome view of the Smokies beautiful beautiful gardens, if you have the courage and the legs for it do the tree top sky walk.

Cheyenne Blankenbeker

All the food trailers were closed when we got to the top. Which we were not warned of before we went up. After waiting 45 minutes to go up, we waited another 45 for food at the only place to get food. Then our order was wrong and there was hair in 2 of our meals. Also there should really be cool down stations at the top for elderly and children on hot days.

Valarie Davis

Loved the fact you can only get to this place in the mountains by riding a swing chair( not sure if thats the name of it) or in a cart. It was amazing with an AMAZING view of the Smoky Mountains. I can't believe I walked in the Treetops which was 50 to 60 feet high. Just amazing. The food was great and the service was good because the staff was super friendly and helpful.. I'm taking my kids next year. Loved It. Highly recommend. Oh! That's Mr. Willow man in the pic

Kevin Darby

Really great place to spend a few hours. Zero trouble getting to and from the mountain like most have complained about. Had to wait maybe 5 minutes both ways. Ziplining is a must and the facilities were great. Would definitely go again.

E Morlina

Entry is about $20 per adult. If you show up after 6pm then you can enter free the next morning if you still have your wristband on. Attractions were great. Read the website beforehand for some insight on everything. My friend ordered a burger but it arrived too burnt, luckily the staff was very kind to us and we're able to receive a refund.

Donna Gehringer

Amazing!! Everyone who comes to Gatlinburg needs to do this at least once. It's nice that you can comeback in the same day. Truly worth it

kenny james

Amazing views from this location. A smaller attraction compared to others but we spent hours here beautiful place. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend this as a must go spot.

Haley Beasley

Safety of visitors is a real concern. The lift doesn’t have any requirements for small children. We were charged the full price when most of the attractions were closed. We didn’t experience much of anything to do once we made the ride to the top of the mountain. It was beautiful scenery at the top. However, I would not recommend for young children.

Jason Strand

This was fun for about an hour and a half. The price was not fun. There is nothing for small children to do. The views are nice and the truck ride down was a good time. I would not call it a theme park

Kaitlyn Ahimovic

Had an awesome time! We brought our 7 month old but probably would have spent more time had she been older (old enough to do some of the attractions). Worth checking out regardless of age though

Tawana Jackson

This was our first experience on a lift. It was relaxing and fun riding to the top of the mountain. At the top we were able to walk around enjoy food and listen to entertainment.

Mark Henke

Staff and service were excellent. They gave us free rain ponchos during a cloudburst. Enjoyed the mountain coaster and zip line, both of which were additional to the price of admission. Not sure what the admission was for...the chair lift? The rest of the area seemed to be more tourist trap stuff.

Susan Galloway

I thought it was expensive for what it is. The view is beautiful. The issues I have is they don’t have enough cabins to transport up or back. We had to wait in the heat for an hour to go up because we had a baby with us. We waited over an hour to go back down. No fans or nothing to get air flow. By the time you waited in line to go up in the heat you’re exhausted. There is no where to go to try to get cool. Very little shade. We ate at the restaurant Hill Top and the view is awesome, but very hot because it’s open to enjoy the view and I understand that. You need to add more enclosed cabins so your guests aren’t standing in blistering heat for so long.

Kimlee Jones

Well maintained and lush, good value for the money. Nice shops, good attractions if you like single seat coasters, zip lines, cute shops, restaurants and rope bridges but, you'll have to take a ski lift up the mountain. Hope you're not afraid of heights!

laurie Davis

This place is awesome! Take a chondola up to the mountain or take a ski lift when you get to the top there’s a beautiful restaurant and bar with 360° views of the smoky mountains also a small village you can walk around the shops and places for kids to play and tree top canopy walks! it is totally awesome I highly recommend it for everyone

Sara Leamon

Tickets are around $25 per person. You take a long ski lift ride to the top. There was a cafe, ice cream, bbq and coffee places to eat at. There are some really nice views from the top. And the garden walk and bench swings were nice, but I didn't think that there was enough to do for the price.

Jason Ladner

WAY overpriced. Pay a bunch of money for nothing. For a trip to the top where you pay more money if you want to do anything other than walk across the skybridge which really isn't all that impressive. Food isn't cheap either. To do anything at the top cost an arm and a leg. They could at least make the roller coaster free, but no. Best they'll do is charge you half price after the first time... which by the way is still too much. Oh, you get unlimited gondola rides.... that makes up for it... oh wait, no it doesn't. Ride the chair lift up and down to get my money's worth. No thanks. If you're thinking about going here, don't waste your time or money. The views from the state park are far better and free.

Linda Mayfield

First time I've ever Zip lined, small course but I will definitely do it again. Had 3 guides, they did a wonderful job keeping group relaxed and laughing. Can't remember all their names but one of them was Kricket.

Tim P

This place has the potential to be fun, but I don't recommend coming if it's busy/the line is long at the bottom. I made this mistake and the zip line was completely booked for the day and it was an hour and half wait for the mountain rail. So I basically spent two hours total in line (going up and down) just to ride a chairlift and do a ten minute walk in the woods.

Kate Cromer

GO AND DO THIS! The price is well worth it, there was a lot to do up top. My daughter loved it. Go

Nancy Morse

We enjoyed the ride up a great deal. My husband rides a scooter and the chondola accommodated him well. Nice drinks and appetizers at top.

Alexandra Jones

Anakeesta was beautiful and a great value. There was plenty to do included in the price of admission. For a reasonable extra fee we also went on the zip line course. The grounds are very clean with lots of seating and shade. There are several choices for meals, drinks, and dessert as well as clean, readily accessible bathrooms. The staff is very helpful and friendly. My kids range in age from 5 to 12 and we all had a fantastic day including my 65 year old mom.

Jenna Plummer

We went to Anakeesta on an October Saturday night to enjoy the Halloween haunts. And because we went after 6pm we got in the whole next day for free! The haunted trail was decent. Well put together but definitely not terrifying. The tree bridge in the dark was awesome! The next day we started off by ziplining. That was an amazing experience; truly enhanced by our guides. Tim, Spencer, and Roy were funny and goofy but also made sure we felt safe and informed throughout the process. I would 100% recommend doing it. Can't really beat ziplining for ~$35. We also walked through Vista Garden during the day, which was beautiful.

ROBBIN SLAUGHTER

This place is amazing! Beautiful views! A beautiful garden ! Quaint little shops. A great place to relax and enjoy the mountains!

Kyle Russell

Very nice facilities! Comfortable place to walk around and spend the day, even with young kids. Don't expect a huge variety of "thrill" rides, but I think that helps contribute to a calm environment. We enjoyed the tree house and craft area. I think you have to pay a little extra for the zip line and coaster ride. The food was good, but the kids meals are pricey as you might expect.

Tami Taylor

My husband and I spent three hours up there today! Breathtaking views! We loved the Botanical gardens. How soothing and peaceful. My husband served in the military and commented on how calming it was for him there. Also appreciated the military discount and the fact that you can go back multiple times during the day of your purchase. We're going back up tonight to watch and capture some sunset pictures over these mountains!

Alexa Akbari

Anakeesta is a newer addition to Gatlinburg, but was one of the highlights to our trip. The lift is comfortable up, although takes a little longer because you are going so high up and the bar in front of you is only aluminum which got a little nerve racking. Once at the top, there was a bar and grill where we watched the sunset, bridges going from multiple treetops, zip lining, and mountain side movie. Staff was friendly and helpful too.

Connie St John

After the ride down you must quickly get off with no help. I had been dangling my feet for an extended period of time. Both feet were asleep as I hurried to get off. Of course I had no feeling am expressed this as I stumbled around and fell. They took a report. I ventured out of there in a lot of pain. I had broken my foot. They had my information but never called me to see if I was ok. After I fell I watched as they then stopped to help people off. Too little too late

Sandra CLARK

What a beautiful way to spend the day. Well worth the price of a one day ticket. I LOVED IT! Would like to go back again in springtime or later in the fall.

Bella B

Amazing place with lots of family fun!!!! Great shops and views. Can have fun all day for very reasonable prices

Gracie Lewis

We did the zip line. Our guides were cricket, storm, and Alec. They were hilarious and did a great job. We also ate at the bbq truck and there was PLENTY of food and we couldn't even eat it all. I ordered the smoked turkey sandwich and it was amazing.

Miguel Gamboa

Very friendly staff. Zip line was one of the best attractions, the guides are awesome guys with a great attitude and good sense of humor. Will recommend this place to any one visiting Gatlinburg.

Brian F

This place was really nice now, so when they finish building it up, it will be a great place to visit. You can take a walk now in the tree’s on bridges, zip line down the mountain, eat good food, and relax while looking at all the beauty of the mountains. Even a memorial for the very sad fire throughout the mountains, and its victims. Update 10/19 this place has something new every time we come. New way to get to top of mountain, and the changes on top are great. Can’t wait till next trip to see what’s new. Lots of great food up on the mountain as well.

We went on a Sunday and it wasn't crowded, very enjoyable. We had our 9 month old with us, and he had a fantastic time. The tree bridges were very cool. Rocking chairs overlooking the mountains, beautiful gardens and village. So much to do and the food was great and very affordable. The staff was amazing as well, great attitude and very nice. We did the open ski lift on the way up, and it freaked me out, the closed cabin was very nice on the way down ;)

Not exactly an adult theme park. But the weather turned miserable. The staff came around and handed out rain ponchos for free. The food was good as was our beer choices. We made the best of what we had. Yes I would try this place again.

Tiffany T

This is a wonderful place to visit. There is an alternative ride to the top so you are sitting with your feet dangling if you are afraid of heights. The tree top bridges are safe for toddlers. I tested the ropes myself to make sure he couldn’t slip through them and fall off. There is a tree house type playground and an obstacle course the kids enjoyed. Beautiful garden and gorgeous views. I zip lined and that was so much fun! My nine year old was able to do it with me, but there are weight restrictions so research before going. My five year old did the mountain coaster. She had to sit in an adults lap, but she still had a blast. Ages 7 and up can go alone. They have different events throughout the summer so look at their calendar. Also get there before they open. The line fills up quickly.

Chris Sorenson

Beautiful place with wonderful views. Find a coupon in one of the many books around town and plan plenty of time. You wont regret it.

Amie Dodson

Views were nice but we waited almost 2 hours to even get up the mountain and then another 1.5 to get down. We have small children so can't ride the chair lift safely. Outrageous that there are 2 enclosed lifts for every 25 chairs. Most people waiting on enclosed are elderly or with children. Ridiculous that those are the people you make wait the longest!

Tom Orr

Nice place, but be prepared to spend some money. Not only do you pay $12 for 10 hours of parking. Even if you need only 2 you still can only pay for 10. Cost about about $25 a person to get in, although if you purchase your tickets after 6 PM you can use them the next day. The rail ride was around $15 each. But we did enjoy our visit and I would recommend it.

Jerry Sims

The evening time is by far the best time to go! Get yourself a burger, a drink and take a seat on the patio so you can enjoy you meal with the best view! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Jennifer Green

My husband and I enjoyed this place so much. The Halloween ‘Hallow Mountain’ was very good and the bridges are awesome.

kyle newby

Spent half a day here between early afternoon, then came back up after dark for the Halloween event on a Friday night. Got the burger from the cliff top grill, it was amazing. Nice atmosphere and good views. Taking off one star because the ticketing process needs some work. There are 4 windows which are marked to buy tickets there. 1 line says "online orders and vouchers". That line was pretty short and the one for on site was probably 300 people long. We just ordered them on the phone and got in the online order line. It went slower than the other line, so when we asked the lady why it was so slow, she said it was because some people with vouchers ( people with timeshares get them ) take a while to process. She said any of the regular windows can process online orders, even though the aren't labeled as such. Tldr: get the double burger from clifftop grill. Order tickets online but get in regular ticket line unless the online line is empty.

We loved this place. The views are incredible. The roller coaster is unique one person and you control your speed. The open lift is nice. Great view from the lift . Walking the trees is very unique and get different views and a feel for what it's like to climb the trees. The employees throughout the park were very polite and helpful as well. A great experience overall. Its definitely worth a visit.

Charlette Hawkins

We visited during the day and at night. I definitely recommend visiting during the day, at night you can't see anything. The roller coaster was my family's favorite part I just wish there was a family price or even better be included with admission. We took the cabin up and the truck down, I liked there were different options. This is a beautiful place to visit.

Kris Napier

This is a great place with great family entertainment. I have 6 kids and they all enjoyed it. The tree top walk has breathtaking views and is fun to walk above the ground in the canopy of the trees. The treehouse village is great for kids of all ages I have them ranging from 3 to 12 and they all enjoyed it. The floral garden is very pretty with spots along the way to sit and soak up the mountain views. We had ice cream up on the mountain and it was great. All the employees we interacted with were very nice and help full. We road the box car up the mountain and then part of us road the chair down and the other part road the ridge rambler truck down both were great and fun. We definitely served the chair or the truck over the box car. Lastly we rode the rail runner several times it was great all 4 of my kids that rode it once rode it several more times. Zack the guide at the rail runner was amazing definitely made it an experience to remember he gets 5 stars in my book. He was entertaining and very good with my kids that started out scared he made them feel comfortable, secure and confident in what they were doing. THANK YOU ZACK FOR BEING GREAT WITH MY CHILDREN AND I.

Brian Rohlke

Had a blast, beautiful place, alot of fun for the whole family. Walked gardens ,ate ice cream, zip lined, and best part was the suspension bridges through the tree tops. Took chair lift up and the truck back down.

Terri Smith

We traveled with a group of six including a two year old so we needed to take one of the red cabins up to the mountain. On the brochure it shows the red cabins on the cover as if there are plenty but there are only two every fifteen minutes, which means that the many families that need cabins wait for over an hour to get up or down the mountain. Once we got up there, it did offer some beautiful vistas but we didn’t realize that every activity cost more money once you’re there, except walking the bridge. Overall if you are thinking of going here, be ready to wait in long lines and pay a few hundred dollars. We also waited for an hour for the rail runner and the zip lines.

brett miller

Nice ride up! We took the lift vs the car. Lift rides moved much more quickly. Up top, few activities and trails, to include hanging walking bridges. We all found to be fun! A few places to grab a snack, and shop. May want to eat before you go. Nice open trails and walking with views of the mountainside..nice gardens and well landscaped. Easy ide down gives you another perspective on just how high you were.

Daryl Cate

What a beautiful place and a true gem in Gatlinburg. Was great to see a Phoenix rise from the ashes of the fire. The gardens and view are well worth the admission. A must see and do in the Smokies!

rdetrp

Awesome but... There are some fun activities to do there. The view is spectacular. Three only thing that really bugs me is the chair lift ride. It stops too often and feels like it takes 20 min. Yes you can take the truck up, but it I just think this place needs a high speed lift.

Stuart Holt

Nice view, brisket not great, somewhat dry. Nice walk in the woods. No clear or enforced smoking policy that I could see. Smoker seemed to be following me around. Normally I come to mountains expecting fresh air. Nice garden if you like gardens. Not much shade compared to elsewhere in mountains with the trees mostly cut down, don't pick a hot day to come.

Michael Estes

For the price, there are better options in Gatlinburg. The chairlift up almost gave my wife motion sickness with all of the stopping, restarting, and swinging. The food is reasonably priced and the staff is friendly. As stated previously, there are just way better options.

artha Geary

I enjoyed it.... It was a nice place to visit on my vacation would recommend it all we come to Gatlinburg. The Zip line was so fun and the fellows taking care of it were so good they did a fantastic job .....

Mark Bellesfield

Fantastic view. We went in the morning, and then went back in the evening. The roller coaster is not the best, but the food and the view was great. We got to see some bear as well.

Ricky Owen

Awesome family fun. Decent pricing. Sky lift was great. Lots of stuff to do when you reach the top. Be prepared to dig into your pocket if you stay here a while tho.

Emily Kimball

A very neat experience. Love the ride to the top of the mountain but go on a cloudy day or in the evening. The ride stops to let people on and you can spend a lot of time in the sun. The town up top is cute for shopping and the restaurant is pretty good. Pricey but in this case you get what you pay for. The rainbow cake was lovely and we ate that on the balcony that overlooked the mountains.

Tara Crawford

We went with a large family. Brochure was misleading. We thought it was inclusive. The rides and gem mining are additional charge. For two people it was $50 to ride up the mountain, look at a garden. The bridge was neat. But still, very steep. Was very clean. We won’t go again. For us, it was a waste of money.

Penny Freeman-Onosa

This was very nice but parking way too expensive and admission fee is only a fee to get you up the mountain once you are there you pay for everything. LIttle garden is only thing free. Got a couple refreshments at the Cliff Top and they would not even give us refills!!!!! So we decided not to eat there later since they were so greedy.

Kimberly T

Lovely place to visit. Took the enclosed ride up but you can take the open chair lift to the top if you prefer. There are amazing views going up and coming down. At the top it is beautiful. There are shops and places to eat. Also there are places to sit and relax and a few cooling mist fans as well. The tree house play area for kids was fun. They had zip lines there you could do as well as those sit on coasters but those were additional costs from the price you pay to go up there. Beautifully landscaped everywhere. Glad I took my kids to visit.

Tait Beaty

Beautiful view of downtown Gatlinburg and the mountains. Clear view of Mount LeConte. Chair lift is nice but, no canopy. Would be pretty hot in mid summer, as it stopped several times and was about 30 minutes total. There is almost always a nice breeze. Not much for toddlers. The 880 ft. long tree bridge is a very nice walk through the woods with stops at every tree that make up the walkway. Zip lines, and a coaster loop (both extra $). Food, beer, wine & liquor. Beautiful gardens with labels. Overall a nice relaxing 1/2 day.

Brandy Sypolt

I thought this place was amazing. Knowing how long the lines would be, we were there to get our tickets early. We rode the Mountain Coaster early. Very clean facilities, beautiful views, and reasonably priced items/food. All I will say is that if you are scared of heights AT ALL use the red cars to ride up and back, the open lift was a little frightening for me.

Emma Jones

This place has amazing views and a lovely tree top walk. I give it 2 stars though as we got stuck on the mountain for 2.5hrs because of a rain storm. They closed the chair lift and just operated a small bus to get people down the mountain which the wait for was about an hour or more. I would hate to be up there if a fire was coming through!! There was a distinct lack of communication regarding what was going on and very little shelter to hide from the rain.

Shawn Bean

Fun, but expensive. Not budget friendly. The views are beautiful and the staff is helpful. We saw a bear while we were on the ride up which was neat. Some things cost extra, like the zip lining, mountain coaster and gem mining. The play area and treetop canopy are great. The entree prices at the restaurant are reasonable, but the appetizer prices are high. The two things that knock this down are $3 drinks with no refills and not enough shade in the long line to go back down the mountain. Sweet tea costs very little to make and should come with refills, this isn't Europe. And the waiting area to go down needs more canopies with misting fans. We were roasting while we waited. Between that and the lack of shade while on the ride down, we were a bit on the well done side.

Ryan Nicometo

I didn't totally get this. It's a super slow chairlift to decent views and shopping. We did really like the canopy walk however, and the beer garden guy gave us some free beer, so that's cool.

Brandon Inc

It is a little pricey but worth it. I rode in one of enclosed lifts. It is definitely high up in the air and a lot of fun. Beautiful view and staff is very friendly and professional. Plan on going every time we visit.

Holly Penrod

We had a large family trip there recently. It was nice but would not go again. A little pricey in my opinion. It was a hot day when we went and the lift seats were leather and very hot. There is no seat belts or secured bar on the lift so I did not care for that experience at all seeing that I had my 4 year old with me. We did take the enclosed ride down and it was much better. It took about 30 min to reach the top. We got Ice cream first stop and the prices were reasonable. The kids play area was very small. The tree canopies and views were the best part! Other than that I felt like we could have had better use of our time and money. It was ok but would not visit again.

David Mullinax

Love it. Lots of fun rode the lift up took the chondolas down. Did the foot bridges. Not for faint of heart.!

Rj Spring

Family of four with 11 and 8 year olds. We rode the four person ski lift up the mountain, and the enclosed gondola on the way down. The top has zip lining, mountain coaster, shops and food. There is a kid area with Bridges and tree houses, as well as a suspension bridge trail through the trees that everyone enjoyed. The gardens with their inspirational word plaques we beautiful. Of course the view from the top was spectacular. So glad we did this.

Danielle Morris

Absolutely the best thing to come to Gatlinburg!!!!! Great for families or couples. Amazing sunset views and the price in very reasonable. Highly recommend it.

Double S

This place was totally worth the cost. We went to the aquarium and were not impressed so ill admit i was apprehensive of anakeesta at first. I will warm you to be ready for the sky lift. The staff do not like to stop the ride for you to get on and you will wait in line for the red enclosed chondalas as they only have a few of them so plan ahead for your abilities. We went in the morning right as they opened and it was still quiet when we arrived to the top. The vista gardens are very peaceful and i loved the Halloween decor. The shops are kind of pricey but to be expected. There are also a few food trucks to choose from plus the treetop restaurant. The views are breathtaking and they provide plenty of places to sit and enjoy them. The suspension Bridges were a blast. Ill definitely be back!

Augusta nguyen

We went fairly early (10:30 am) with 2 adults and 4 kids and had to wait about 30 minutes to ride a gondola. You are able to bring strollers and even wheelchairs. We saw a bear on our ride up and back down the mountain so the wait was worth it! The place is great for adults and children as there are little activities/ playing opportunities throughout and plenty of beautiful scenery for adults. You can eat at a restaurant or grab a quick bite from a food truck (the beaver tail has vegan options)! It is a gorgeous place!

Diane Doktor

My husband and I went zip lining for the first time and we were greeted with some awesome guides! Roy, Tim and Spencer!! Thanks guys for an amazing experience. We were a bit nervous but you made it fun and calmed our nerves! Thanks for an unforgettable experience! And all the jokes too! And Amy thanks for the great service! K&D Doktor

David Chaplin, CFPS

Take the incline up to the top of the hill, and recline. Slow down and enjoy this new attraction. The views, the food, the beer, the ice cream are all good. Must tour the hilltop garden and the rope bridges through the forest. There is also a high and long Zip-Line that looks like a lot of fun !

Terri Rogers

Very disappointed. The view was great, that is a given. The restaurant is a nice but we didn't wait in line to wait in line to eat. You walk up a path to a small garden area, kids liked the three small tree houses, then you walk down the rope bridges through the trees to zip lines, which run through the trees and ride ski lift back down. Maybe took an hour

Ed Hearn

So loved this place. Very friendly staff and beautiful views from up to over looking the mountains. One thing I missed out on was buying any kind of souvenirs I was thinking I would grab something when I got back to the bottom. Well did not know all the souvenirs are all located up top of the lifts. But over all wonderful experience kids wife and myself loved it

Ruth Chambers

Visiting here was amazing. When we got to the heart shaped vines my boyfriend purposed to me. With tears in my eyes and love in my heart, I said "Yes". The price of admission is fair and the views are amazing. The food is wonderful and you can pay once and go back in all day (same day admission)

Angelique Wright

This is an awesome place. There's a whole little village up top complete with botanical garden, beer garden, and a restaurant. I didn't zip line this time but it is definitely on my to do list for next time. I mostly just rode the lift, walked around and took in the awesome views.

T

We loved this place! Worth visiting again and will visit again. Just more towards the fall/winter time.

Rebecca Camerlingo

Although I am not a fan of heights the ride up the mountain was pretty scary but that's my own fears. Once to the top, it was beautiful! Great food choices, cute shops, and spectacular views. My toddlers loved the mining place and recommend buying the "mother load" bag. Had tons of fossils, gems, shark teeth, arrow heads etc. The gardens and tree houses were unique and we really enjoyed it.

M.N. Henschen

My boys love going here, and so do I! The canopy walk is beautiful, and so is the botanical garden. And there's a lot for the kiddos to do too. Not to mention all the informational plaques that make the fun educational.

Aphro Kitty82

Lots of fun! We rode the chair lift up. It was a smooth ride very exposed. There's shops and restaurants on top of the mountain. The views are amazing too. We had lunch at BBQ place up there. We ordered a hot dog with chili cheese and pulled pork. It was really good. We went in the tree top canopy walk. That's part of the admission price. Also the admission is good for 24hrs so you can come and go. That part is great. They offer zip lining and I tried to get my hubby to try the rail runner but he wouldn't lol. I would definitely go back.

Rick Jordan

Beautiful place. The food was delicious. Fast service. I will go back someday.
